Today, I'm filming a video that I design much of online and that is how to properly hide a bobby pin. So you know I usually look like this and we hope in the bottom. That'S still a habit of mine, keep it closed and just push it right. Just push it right in I'd probably need one more, but, as you can see, you can't see it at all. Another really good thing to keep in mind is that when you do this, you may see the bobby pins if, when you're putting the body paint in making it so that that when you push it in, it goes with your strands of hair. So if my hair is all going this way, I push it in like this. I don't turn and push it in like that right, because then you're going to see that little bottom cut, so I keep it close. I find this little piece here is where I want it. I kind of tag it to a little hair. I keep it horizontal with my hair and then I push it in so right now. I have two pieces in. I feel fine, but I'm not putting under one in if I was going to go out, but that's how I do it. So a lot of people do this, which is better than some way, but they take the twist in the bag. They open. The bobby pin and they go here and then you push it around and you push it. This is a super secure way, but you always get that bump you're, going to always have a little bit more and weight fair of having to you the baggage necessary back right here. So the little end, if you do the version up, I do take the bottom in saying that the hair is going push it in. Take this up. Next bobby pin grab a little bit of hair without opening it and push in. Let me see if it works. Pretty hard to do is out looking, so we can see that with this, it's not showing like the other versions. So two things to remember: don't open your bobby pin and keep the bobby pin aligned with the grain of the hair, the strands of the hair. You don't want to go opposite because then it's going to show, hopefully you guys enjoyed it, and I will see you guys next time.

Hannah Craig: GREATEST ADVICE EVER!! Seriously! This has TOTALLY changed the way I pin my hair. I use CRAZY amounts of bobby pin looks and now I can finally make them look effortless! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Sarah Stimson: god bless you, you've just rescued my wedding from criss crossed bobby pins!

DierMe00: I recently learned that the wavy side of the bobby pin goes against the scalp for more security. I think she had the smooth side against the scalp.

Pitt Lord: All you have to do is stick it in parallel to the direction of the hair you are pinning, opposite the direction in which it is being pulled. Push the pin in at an angle into the braid/twist section to make sure it’s grabbing onto the hair/roots of the unincorporated hair underneath . With the right color pins it will blend in even if it doesn’t completely disappear. You may need more pins than she uses depending on your hair type and the size of the piece you are pinning, but one per twist or two per braid (bottom and top) is a good baseline. My hair is fine and straight so it took a little bit to get a feel for it but it honestly looks and feels better than the flip 180 method. My hair hasn’t quite gotten long enough to pull it all up and because I work outdoors I needed it out of my eyes and use a variety of twists and braids to do so. I didn’t much like the look of exposed Bobby pins and this helped me to remedy that.

Inge De Troia: Thank you so much for this good idea! It is working perfectly and so easy to do in one second! Coincidentally today's my birthday and so this video turned out to be one of the best presents for (me and) my hairstyle☺

Møønlight_MarieToo: This is really helpful for me to hide my Bobby pins in my hair!!

Ness Ceballos: Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you

Natalie N: Well, first, the reason bobby pins have the wave is to catch the hair & grip it. It's suppose to go in wavy side down. Bobby pins are designed with that *toe** to catch the hair, and not open it to put a chunk of hair into it, itll keep it open & not grip well. Wave down, insert closed, weave, then push in ever what way works best, twist or flip it then if you like.

Kaitlin Rayne Films: THIS IS SO HELPFUL! I LOVE THIS LIFEHACK!

Coral Joanne Seamer: Oh my god!! How have I gone 28 years without knowing how to use bobby pins correctly

Devika: Am I the only one who watched it atleast 10 times and just don't understand? The first swift-ish flip esp... Her hands covered most of the action! Please help! I really want to get that look

Dianne: I'VE just tried that way , and it works!!! ‍♀️ and I've watched a LOT of bobby pin VIDEOS☝️

Blue B.: I dont know of it's because my hair is thick, but bobby pins ALWAYS fall out of my hair and my hair slides out.

Michael Jameson: I just need to learn how to use them in general, because my new job requires my surfer hair to be in a bun with a hair net but it's not long enough and some parts fall out, and they get mad.

Patricija Bajec: Thank you mom for so thick hair that I use 6 pins and it still won't stay in place

Bismeet Samra: It's so helpful n nailcolour is pretty good

hon hon hon: its really easy! tysm

Eduardo Nolasco: What a great video new sub

Bolortuul Batsuren: My hair is too muscular for this.

Priyadarshini Mandinga: U r awsome

stellarious !!!: oh my gosh. thank you

Tanvi Kaur: Amazing

gwendolyn2001: Yikes! One of the best bits of advice a hairdresser ever gave to me is NO metal on the hair. It is a creed I have lived by for over 20 years.

William Mickelson: I'm probably the only dude watching this . I'm trying to train my hair to go back and gel doesn't work

Josephine: When u said “it’s not showing “ then me was like guess what ,I can literally see the golden bobby pin when u close up the cam to your hair . It is not like because our hair blonde then we can’t see the ~bobby pin ~ WE R NOT DUMB

Amna Riaz: u look like Gigi Hadid! well video was very helpful!

Prachi tempo service: Hi nice video

Kabita: What happens if someone seems m using pins

Venkatachellam Sridharan: show it properly...

Jigi Thakor: mast

Sushant Kumar: I love u

renarizaki: This doesnt work..

Reese Karns: I have no idea how, but this actually works. It doesn't look like it should work. It looks like there should be WAY more to it than this, which I'm sure is the reason why so many people are confused as to how simply putting the bobby pin in without opening it first could possibly result in hair that defies the laws of physics. But I tried this, just now, first try, on my VERY thick hair, to do my faux side swept bangs, and it actually worked exactly like it did in the video. I didn't twist my hair at all, even. I just swept the part of my hair that would be very thick bangs over to my one temple, stuck a pin in it just as shown in the video, and ta da, gravity defying hair with no product in it, no pins showing, just like in the video. In all I used 2 normal sized pins and one little one and it it extremely secure. I really wish I had seen this before painting all of my pins with nail polish since no one is even going to see them now.

VIJAY BALA: oooh nothing u r showing
