Keracolor Color Fling Vs Color Craze: Wash Out Purple Hair Styling Product

Hey guys Megan here, I'm back in this other location. I actually have guys it's actually bright enough today to film back here, because it snowed so much that the white from the snow is reflecting like crazy. As you can see - and so I haven't like to film back here - and I'm thinking - I I like doing this because I read this surface, especially for the video today, so I know I have seen these different hair products that claim to be like a pomade or A styling product that you put on your hair, but it colors it for you know the time being until you wash it out, and I thought I've had my hair, crazy colors, it's been purple, it's been green and blue, not blue, green and red and purple. All at the same time, but I Spencer it's expensive to get it done the right way so that you don't truly, do it expensive and I'm. If I could do something like this, it could be temporary. I can do an ROI want. However, I want so. I thought I would look it up and see what kind of reviews there were on these products. Cuz I'd actually already purchased them um. So I thought I'm gon na look at the reviews, because I have two of them, one that I have ordered on the Ulta web.com website and one have actually purchased at five below and if you don't know what a five blow is, it's basically everything in the Store is five dollars or less so um, but I got this one a five below while I was waiting for this to come in the mail and it came the next day so um I was looking both of them up. This one is called Forever Young by Jean Pierre color crazed and I looked at this off online and I could find the John Pierre Forever Young line, but I couldn't find anything about the haircare product um, so I was unable to find anything about it. No reviews! No, nothing, not even the fact that it exists it's in a purple, amethyst washout, hair color and then this is the one that I got on Ulta, it's the carrot, color, it's carrot: color color fling and it's purple they're little they're a little different in color. Well, this one's darker than this one, but I went to look this one up to see what kind of reviews it had and own alta. It actually said it was a new product and no matter what I did I'm gon na rarely looked. There were actually no reviews on it. It was do you when I'm writing with you. Do you wan na put a review so there's nowhere? Even I can't find any ground, even when you couldn't find it over there. So I thought I'm gon na try and do this on video, for you guys and I'm gon na put I'm gon na use one on one side over here on this side of my part and I'm hanging the other side of my part and then we're gon Na see how it works, I did take the time to look at the ingredients to see how similar they were and they have some of the same ingredients but for sure the color craze from five below has way more, very long, scientific chemical words than this. Does this actually has water as the first ingredient and beeswax as the second ingredient, so I feel a little better about that where, as the first ingredient here is hydroxy full-size hydroxy ethyl cellulose, so we're gon na try these two on strands on my hair. Now it does stay on the directions for both of them are pretty similar cuz. They say you can blow it dry because you have to let dry for a couple minutes, but we're just gon na go to town now it's this. This is the color craze. It'S open: if it's me, it's not when I open it and it's sealed and it's sealed so well and I can't open it um, and so they don't feel like I don't want. I want to peel it off. I don't want to here we go here. We go okay, so I tear this off. Do a nice thick color? Oh it's, nice and big minute. So I guess I'm just gon na use my hand and put a little right up here on my hair yeah. It'S like slang, almost ceramides, yeah, okay, so I'll grab a section now my hair is dyed black except that the roots where it's starting to come in so I know I'm gon na have to use way more. If I want this to even begin to show up. Okay, so I feel like I've coated it, and I don't know that I can coat it anymore, but I don't see purple. There is mica in one of these. I didn't check for mica in the other. Mica will actually any kind of shimmer makeup. You have the shimmer comes from mica, okay, so now I can actually look. Can you see the purple okay? So you have towel over here and I'm gon na wipe this off. It does not stain my fingers, pretty shirts, probably gon na stain this towel, but I'm down with that, but my fingers are clean. I'Ve been able to wipe off everything without getting a steam. So that's the color craze now we're gon na open the hair, color Fling for some reason. There'S a piece of tape on this. Could it be to keep it from oklet lid to opening inch in shipping? You don't know, but it's like masking scotch tape. Oh, my gosh I'm having a problem today: okay, oh okay! Maybe that's why? Because there was no seal or anything. This is a nice light purple. So let's see how this works and we'll do it on this side. Okay, oh I've got some of the tape on my one finger. Okay, so let's try this. This one definitely has mica and I noticed that so mica makes it shimmer. So if nothing else, maybe we can have shimmery hair with a hint of purple. I haven't had my hair done in a while. You guys, hey guys. Ah I see this. Do you see this? Oh, my okay, I'm kind of excited kind of excited excellent. So now I'm gon na just wipe my hands off of here on here. No, I don't know grandma we're English and then I'm going to let this draw you have to let it dry. One says two to three minutes: the other says five to ten. Let me see hold on. I would on that one. This is three to five. Wait. Three to five minutes to dry, if you would like to change the color or wash out with whether it warm water, okay - and this one says you do put it on dry hair. By the way, this one says: um let dry for five to 10 minutes or speed up the dry time with a blow-dryer depending on thickness and color of hair. More product may be needed to stop and hold manipulate with hands brush or comb the hair after the okay. So I've waited um. Actually, the full 10 minutes that the caracal err color Fling, recommended instead of the three to five that the color crazed recommended because it was drying and it's actually, I can't say that it's still tacky. So it's not even dry yet, and it's been ten minutes. We'Re gon na come through it anyway. I can see it, I think it. It looks pretty pretty bold, but I've had things in the past that kind of seyed once you've calmed them and yeah, it's still pretty wet, but I can actually see it. Let'S try over here use the other side of the comb, so we don't mix colors. I think what I would probably go that really came out what I would probably do even came out up here um I like this one better. I think, and I think I would probably use the blow dryer - maybe that's what I'll go? Do I'm gon na go blow-dry my hair. I like this one, a lot and I'd like to be able to see that one more so I'm gon na go use a blow dryer and see if that work. I did the blow drying and all of the things and here's what I've come across. This is what I found as you can see. The current hair color color fleeing side is actually very visible. It actually manipulates very nicely. I can comb it and you can still see it. I feel like if I took a curling iron right there and, like I feel like I could use it and style it. It actually doesn't make my hair to feel terrible this one, because it's darker in color on my dark hair, now that I'm in the light, I can see a tinge of purple and now that I've come through it a shit-ton. I can actually manipulate it. Okay, so yeah, I can see there here's purple over here, but it's really dark in an eye on my dark hair, and this showed up very nicely - I put a little a little bit up here. I like how that showed up, so I think, has shimmer in this. The mica in this makes this um catch the light more as well, and I feel like I could wear these two colors together, there's a highlight and a low-light. So my final verdict it's hard to give, because I actually have like how this feels now that it's combed through. But you can't see it and I can see this one, but it is a little tacky, but I feel like a little tacky will help to hold any style that you actually put in there with a curling iron and whatnot. So I think they're both good for what they do. I think this is better at depositing the color. I think this is better at be coming back. Coming back to a natural hair texture, the texture on the color craze Forever Young by Jean Pierre color, craze purple amethyst, the texture on my hair feels better. When I touch it and the carrot color color Fling, that's the purple, color styler! You can see it better and it, but it feels tacky. You know, I'd have to it's something you need to use when you're styling your hair, not when you're gon na leave it down and leave it straight so um. That'S all I've got for you today at least now. There'S gon na be a review online. Totally doing this, and like I say I use my hands and um, you know they're not staying there's nothing. Now I best up on my brush my comb, but that's gon na wash off, probably as well as my hands dead, cuz, there's nothing on my hands. So there you have it guys the color fling carrot. Color is gon na make your colors that color come out brighter, but the color craze by Forever Young by Jean Pierre, that's gon na make your hair feel nicer. The texture is gon na be nicer, so whichever one is the priority for you that's up to you. So that's what I've got for you today and if you liked the video please give me that thumbs up.
