Koreatown Shooting: Three Women Shot At Northwest Dallas Hair Salon

Dallas police only have a vague description of the shooter they're looking for. But they are looking into the possibility it may have been connected to a customer who was refused service at the salon. Today. HERE FOR YOU., FIRST AT NINE., FOX FOUR NEWS STARTS NOW IN INSIDE OF KOREAN HAIR SALON IN NORTHWEST DALLAS WERE HOSPITALIZED. After SOMEONE OPENED FIRE INSIDE THAT SALON. HAYES., IT'S NINE O'CLOCK., NONE OF THE VICTIMS SUFFERED LIFE THREATENING INJURIES AND IT'S STILL UNCLEAR WHAT LED TO THIS. Attack. POLICE ONLY HAVE A VAGUE DESCRIPTION OF THE SHOOTER THEY'RE LOOKING FOR, BUT THEY ARE LOOKING INTO THE POSSIBILITY. It MAY HAVE BEEN CONNECTED TO A CUSTOMER WHO WAS RESEARCH REFUSED SERVICE AT THE SALON EARLIER AND THE FBI IS ASSISTING TO DETERMINE IT WAS A HATE CRIME. Davidson 10 DRI IS IN DALLAS WITH THE LATEST ON THIS INVESTIGATION. David YES. STEVEN MAN PARKED HIS CAR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. GOT OUT, WALKED ACROSS THIS PARKING. Lot. OPENED THE DOOR TO THE SALON, SHOUTED SOMETHING AND THEN SHOT. Three ARE LOOKING FOR THAT SHOOTER. HAIR WORLD SALON OFF ROYAL LANE IS WHERE DALLAS POLICE SAY A MAN AMBUSHED AND SHOT THREE KOREAN WOMEN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON LANE. WALKED ACROSS THE PARKING LOT ARMED WITH A WEAPON., THE ENTERED THE BUSINESS AND THEN POLICE SAY THEIR INJURIES APPEAR TO Be NON LIFE THREATENING TRANSPORTED TO AN AREA HOSPITAL? The SHOOTER'S MOTIVE IS UNCLEAR., POLICE HAVE TO DESCRIBE MAROON, COLORED, MINIVAN OR SIMILAR VEHICLE., IT'S UNCLEAR. If ANYONE ELSE WAS WITH HIM. The VICTIMS REPORTED.. The SHOOTER MADE SOME QUICK COMMENTS, BUT TWO RUN UP IN THERE AND START SHOOTING FROM WHERE WE GATHER JUST CAME IN. There SAID SOMETHING AND SHOTS WERE FIRED. Mostly ASIAN PAPER HERE OPERATES A NEIGHBORING BUSINESS IN THIS KOREATOWN AREA OF DALLAS, WHERE THERE ARE MANY KOREAN OWNED. Businesses. HE SAYS. THERE WAS SALON WEDNESDAY, STYLIST TOLD AN AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN. They DID NOT KNOW HOW TO CUT HER HAIR. SOMETHING MISUNDERSTAND. POLICE, SAY THEY'RE LOOKING INTO REPORTS OF AN EARLIER DISPUTE, BUT THEY CAN NOT CONFIRM IF IT'S RELATED TO THE SHOOTING. WE'RE NOT RULING IT. Out., BUT RIGHT NOW I DO N'T WANT TO RELATE TO UNLESS REASON TO BELIEVE THE SHOOTING MIGHT BE A HATE CRIME, AND AT THIS TIME WE DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THIS IS HATE CRIME RELATED IN THE EARLY STAGES OF THE INVESTIGATION.. The FBI WAS PHYSICALLY ON SCENE. Earlier REITERATE TO ME THAT THEY ARE JUST ASSISTING IN THIS INVESTIGATION IF IT WERE TO BE DETERMINED THAT THIS WOULD BE SOME SORT OF A HATE CRIME, THE FBI TYPICALLY INVESTIGATES THOSE DALLAS PD. At THIS POINT IN TIME, THERE IS NO EVIDENCE POINTING TO A HATE, CRIME. STEVE HEATHER., BACK TO YOU.. Okay, WE'LL SEE HOW THIS INVESTIGATION UNFOLDS.
