Master — Krew Comb Extra Super Hold Hair Styling Prep

Hey guys today, we're gon na be reviewing master kook home extra super hold hair, styling prep, and this is a company based in let's blow us again United States. This is a company called master. Well, comb, which is there's, got to be a dad joke somewhere in there um, so this company has been around for a very, very long time on the websites he's about 80 years, yeah 80 years. So that tells me that yet that means one of two things: either a it's doing really really good and the products are really really like if people come back and buy the product a lot and that's why it's been in production for a long time, which is Very, very true, because if you look on this site, there's like a bajillion products that they're selling from beard oil to like, like this crew comb, wax palm aids beard oil, butyl butyl. So that's a there's, a bunch of stuff on there. I actually didn't take a look at what they are because Dan, like weird containers - and I was really confused - it look like a kool-aid bottle anyways or to that the product. This company is lying about how long they have been in business, which I highly highly doubt because of their a what I mentioned just now, the product line. So let's just get right into the review. First of all, I love the colors white red and blue means. It'S the traditional barbacoa so, like you know the spiral it really brings back to like its origins of like the barbershop, so that's pretty cool either they did it out because of that reason, or they did it because their North American, because of the flag - and it's Fair nationalistic um, so the container itself kind of draws me back a bit. It takes me back as if feels cheap, like it's a very it's like a plastic plastic II container. I know you're gon na say oh really, but you're you're, picking yeah. I am I'm gon na picking at this point because I I want to actually review the package to and compared to many products on the market. There is a lot higher quality packaging and this is very generic, and actually it's very like this one. It'S exactly. It'S basically using the scene when I was a write. In fact, let me show you something: cool. The caps are the same, they're, basically the same container, and if you look at the bottom, it's basically the same container. It'S the same key, the Seabrook steak, potato, I'm gon na, say right now this product overall, I don't like it as much as that wax. I want to review this one first, because I tried this one out first, for with my first week, the wax is way better way way better wave smell, mmm smell. For me, it smells a lot like baby powder meets floral and some hints of yeah. Sometimes here you smell it too much um, not a big deal, it's a very neutral sense, so it fits in your hair and peoples. My hair, too, like this guy, smells like a baby which might be a good compliment if you're an older gentleman consistency the product. Actually has the consistency of a cream like a cream, so let me show you so if you give it gets loop and you put it in your hands, it's basically going like a lotion. It spreads really really easily, and this is awesome because it's spreads into your hair very easily, but it is not awesome because it spreads into your hair too easily and it actually, if you put it into your hair too fast, you get like white streaks, so make Sure, when you apply this product to either like put it in evenly or blow-dried after and I didn't blow dry after for this hairstyle - I just like left it in for o speaking with you'll - probably see look, there's a streak right now being soft. This is not a bad thing, it's very easy to style. So if you're, a beginner hair style, her hair style, here's that list, it's actually very easy to put into your hair hats, you don't need to DAP your hair and all this other stuff. You can just leave it put in and dry and it's awesome because if you compare this to like a Kevin Murphy or a clay or like a pomade that could really thick oily pomade you're gon na it's like that night and day, if you have thinning hair, You want to stick away from the sticky and greedy products you want to go to like these products like this. What'S the call prequel or even like, it's actually reminds me of the peen pedro lion with their a really creamy hair product. It'S awesome. It'S great! The hold is not quite there um, it's not quite there, it's not force personally for me, I if I want, if, when I think stronghold, I think volume I associated falling and keeping my hair up, but this product, it's strong because it keeps your hair down and That'S because the product itself it like it's a bit heavy at times and if you apply to your hair, it makes your hair up like droop down a lot and that's why it creates this really nice, like clean-cut, look which a lot of people strive for. I personally, like volume a bit more like like the in-between of like Bed Head and clean cut. So that's my personal preference and the price point is: how much does it cost it's about 15 dollars for this product? It'S uh I'd say: that's average for, like top end product anywhere from fifteen to twenty dollars. American is pretty good. I think this is about twenty five dollars, Canadian or twenty dollars Canadian. It'S about there. I haven't actually checked it out. Amazon stays fifteen dollars an American, so twenty one dollars can even converted. There'S not a lot of parts that I can actually compare this to. Oh, it's not really a clay. It'S not really a pace. It'S not it's not really in any of those categories and they don't actually clarify here. They call it a stalling prep and then I think they're trying to create their own. Like. Oh, it's a it's a just stalling prep. It'S not PO me! It'S not clay. It does, but I personally think it's actually more along the lines of a pomade and kind of a cream like a it's like a hybrid pommie, almost not water-based, not oil-based. It'S more like some kind of pomade cuz it yeah, it shine, keeps your hair down and clean, and these are three things that I associated with pomade and that's basically, basically mmm-hmm. So overall overall, I think it's a it's uh. I personally wouldn't buy it because, like again like I said, I strive for more of a volume and like natural bedhead look. This doesn't actually give me that this gives me one up on me gives me, which I already have lots of and when I think palm and I kind of want something that doesn't make my hair like. I want call me that sticks really really is gritty, and this is not quite there. This is this is kind of an odd product and I don't really know how to classify this product. So that's why I say: don't get this product unless you're looking for something? That'S easy to style with and if you want to keep your hair really really cleaning clean cut. That being said, I want to rate this product a solid two and a half out of five and that's being kind of generous that wax on the out of the a different story. No hard feelings, your wax is way better and that's that's all. I got to say I haven't really tried the power yet, but I'll get there when they get there. That'S pissing! Oh yeah! Oh you know what oh yeah you're right. It actually reminds me a lot of Oh totes, Oh dudes, out doubts. I can never pronounce that correctly. That'S a traditional one, but the one in the brown jar. I don't have it with me right now long story short: I lost it. I had to throw it away at the airport because the container was too big and just too much other than that I brought back and yeah. This is this comes kind of close to it, although it's a little bit more stickier, this one goes into your hair. Really really nicely doesn't tear you here, that's basically it for this week review. My next review I'll probably be reviewing the mastic well combs wax and everyday pieces.
