Latoya'S Hair Salon // The Sims 2: Speed Build

A really great day, just because I'm good in once again in the sims 2, but I'm also building a community lot. And if you cannot tell by the title, I am building a hair salon, which is super cool, because I've never really ever built a hair salon. In The Sims 2, let alone build a community lot, because I don't really build them a lot and I should start doing them more often and so about a couple weeks ago, I asked you guys all my community tab on my channel. What type of builds do you wanted to see me build in the sims 2 and one of my lovely friends here in the spring squad spectacled Sims X, covered it saying I should go to hair salon, but also a couple of days ago, on my Sims 3 Speed build for The Sims 19th anniversary Lex H, who commented that she is certainly going to school to become a hair stylist, and I told her that I was gon na build her hair salon in The Sims 2 and they responded saying. I literally cannot wait for that. Speed build, and so here I am today building that said, hair salon for you at lovely two people, and if you see this video, let me know in the comments below say hello what you think about the build. But the cool thing about this build is one of my other lovely friends here in the spring squad named Latoya Lewis. I named this build after you because I always see your comments all the freaking time and you always comment on them. You interact with me and you play The Sims 2, and so I wanted to build a hair salon just for you. I don't think you'll probably use it, but I don't know. I just wanted to name a build after you, but also a sim after you as well. So you know I love you, you've really great. If you see you're. Ok, if you guys, if you see Latoya Lewis in the comments below be sure to thumbs up her comic cuz, I want you guys to do that, but also she's, super cool and so yeah. I named a sim after you, but I also made your sim own. This a lot, and so whenever you guys actually download this safe fire the safe file or looks build, I guess you will be able to control the toil Lewis and run her hair salon shop like your very own, what you super cool - and so here it is. You know I I am really really proud on how it turned out in the very ends result because I utilize open for business and glamour life and glamour life. It'S like a very luxury rich type of pack in the same shoe, and I really did like use it because I felt like, with this hair salon in this part of the district of the main neighborhood. It made sense using it, but also you know I wanted to have the life of luxury for Latoya Lewis and see how I can make it look good, but it was having a lot of trouble actually like trying to figure out what wallpaper I wanted to use For the exterior, because I never really ever built a community lot as a speed build - and I have a few other ones, but they are all like run down wines like very abandoned looking once, but this one's like more proper, more well-run and more easier to like Use, I would, I guess you would say, and so, if you guys liked it, let me know, and if you have any more requests that you guys want me to build, please let me know in the comments below or Twitter or or yeah Twitter, Instagram or Dysport. So I won't forget, so what can I say about this build this build only took me about roughly and what's like almost 2 hours to build so like not that long, it would have been shorter, but I was like struggling finding the right wallpaper like what I Actually wanted to use because I wanted the X here to actually look decent and not you know ugly, and you know I have to say about this. You don't have to say about you, know, a Pacific room is the main area, and I was looking on Pinterest like a couple days ago for inspiration on the hike. How a hair salon would actually look like and see like. You know barbershop, 1 and barbershop, and and like some pictures on Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration - and it was like you know what let's have the chairs facing the mirrors away from the mirror is because usually in hair salons would like, and I see, hair salons and Barbershops cuz, I get my haircut every once in a while. They you know they usually have the chairs facing away from the mirrors and like they can turn you around and see like what you look like in the mirror, but also hanging you a mirror. So you can see that the front and also the back of your hair, to make sure it all looks good. Basically, for me you know I have to have my hair looking looking good and just good, you know clean-cut, so I wanted to make sure that these chairs were facing the mirrors. So you could like kind of like pretend that your Sims can see what they look like in the mirror, even though they wouldn't really react to it until the makeover is done, and I don't know I I just wanted to try something different, because I never really Put my all in my sims to see feels like I used to back in the day, and now that is 2019. I want to step up my game with my builds, try out different like sheets for a building, but also combining objects and maybe adding a little bit more clutter to make it more personalized, lived in excitement. And you know all the things like you want to see in a speed build of mine and when I was like first building like furnishing this build. I didn't know where to put the waiting room because usually there's a waiting room for all your Sims or people to sit at while they're waiting or their call in their number or the person's name. And I decided to go ahead and like where the door is make that the waiting area and put like a plant in the corner but - and then I also wear those white chairs - are - are actually another set of like hair style chairs. So like this, in total one wait hold up for two Hey for 6/10, so in total there are actually 10 chairs, and I think that's enough, you can expand it. If you want to like, you, can end up moving the slot to a bigger a lot. If you wanted to, but it it all depends on how you look at things in the sims 2, and I also added a waiting room with work, no way to break room for your employees, because in the sims 2 open for business, you can actually have your Employees take breaks and what they'll usually do is either. If you have a break room, I think you should all have one, because what they'll do is they'll go to that break room and just sit there for a while relax for a little bit, because over time, if you open up your business for way too long, Like say that 12 hours, your employees will automatically like get frustrated and end up putting at the very end of the day or in the middle of the day, in the middle of a rush, and so always having employees take breaks before they quit so always like. I think you should utilize the back room and I added like a fridge. I didn't have a stove because you're on break for not that long, so I added a fridge for all your employees at their lunch or whatnot like three counters. A coffee take a coffee maker and a microwave and then a regular IKEA table with four different chairs right around it and that's pretty much it, but in the small little area is a closet. Let'S just say your employees are changing their outfit for like the work day, and I also added a sink in there as well. So you have all the basic needs for four employees, but also to run a business nice, decent chairs, nice, luxury, Florine, seating and good. At music actually - and I really want to add - like another hair salon or a convenience store right across the street, because in my mind I always feel like in the world that it is always a competing. You know businesses act literally, the exact same style. You know need like a niche and everything, so I feel, like you know, Latoya should have a competitor in the neighborhood and I don't know who to name them and I'm just kind of excited, to build another hair salon and make it. You know a little bit bigger like part of two stories. You know see what I can do with that and and just and just kind of build something that is a good competing competitor, full of Toya's hair salon. I don't know I'll call it probably Ally's hair salon. I don't know you guys, can decide on what I should name the next bill, the next hair salon for Latoya's competitor, either way. I just I feel like what's like YouTube, looks like my schedule nowadays like. If you haven't noticed, I don't upload every single day anymore and I tried that it doesn't work in my favor for like me, and so I feel like. Then I should upload every other day for one to help me catch up on catch up on videos for recording and have more time to edit and upload and schedule. And like do all the scheduling post on my website, like whenever I do like Cece hauls or create isms, when I link to custom content or we're never going to do special projects that I want to post, I can have that time to like. Actually do the things I wanted to do so I think now what I'll do is I'll still have upload like the entire week, but probably every other day too, like Monday, Wednesday friday-sunday. If that makes it look, I don't know where Sunday it's weird, because I try to upload every single day, so my schedules a little bit funky right now and I don't want to upload, I want to about every other day, but my mindset, it's like upload every Day get that content out there, but now, like it's 1:19, I want to have quality over quantity because the more videos you put out they might seem rushed, and I don't want my videos to be rushed, and so I I feel a little bit better about myself, Where I should take my time with my speed, build my my videos and see what I could really do to make them better. I realized that I recorded three videos the other day and they're all over an hour long and I have to edit them down under like 20 25 minutes, because I feel, like long videos aren't doing well on my channel, because I look at my analytics, which you Probably shouldn't because it can be very, not good for your, like mine, but I looked at them and it's like a business standpoint. You know we're talking about business here. You know, hair salon is a business and talk about my business know it just go with the flow. It makes sense. It makes sense either way. Oh, oh also before I go back to my story, I added the I don't know: what's called actually it's like a little with a code, electro Matic machine, and so whenever and SCIM actually walks in the building. And if you have that machine on what it will do, it'll actually charge every sim that is in your building. I think every hour I think or everyone every time a sim walks in either way you make money from it, which is a cool and beneficial thing. When it comes to upgrading your equipment or whatever, so I kind of like usually like utilizing that Pacific object anyway, back to my quote, unquote question mark either way so, oh yeah, so I really want to try my best to like think on what I actually want To do with my channel and what kind of videos I want to put out and how I'm gon na make them, and I wan na do facecam one day like I don't need more face camp because every now and then I have like a one-off video. That'S face chemical reaction, video to a trailer or randomness cuz, but when I first started my channel I was always doing face cam and, like I don't understand like. Why did I stop because I feel so excited in front of the camera, but now I feel nervous. Even though I like she make almost every single day on Twitch, which should follow me, I do face Kim in every stream, but why can I not do it on YouTube? That makes no sense to me, like my mindset, uses like together, where there are different platforms, but you should try your best to like make it like. Do it give it your all. You know like give it your all and see what the results will be like and numbers. Don'T define you and numbers. Don'T define me like I don't I don't I don't like. I don't feel like an airhead right now. Like honestly, I don't let numbers get to my head, because if I do, I will go literally insane, but also, I will always think about the numbers and always think about ok, I, this video didn't perform well, I will stop making those videos in like. Why would I stop doing that and like on one hand, I have to think about the numbers and on one hand, I have to think of a thing about what you guys want, because you guys made, who I am? If that makes me sounds like I've I having, how do I put it slightly like I wouldn't be here, if it wasn't for you guys supporting me and commenting and liking and interact interacting with me on other social media, and it makes me happy that you guys, Like my videos, when I upload wet when I upload them actually hopefully every day, but I like I like you all, I don't I don't like calling you subscribers or fans because that's like, I feel, there's an ugly word and a weird word to say: cuz, like Fans subscribers, you know, I call you guys my friends and family, because you're always there for me when I need you, you're always like there to like bring me up and support me and giving pep talks encouraging me and everything. So it makes me happy that I consider you guys as my friends and family and whoever has been here since the og days of spring since back in 2014. Let me know in the comments below, because I would love to know, but either way, I'm just really excited for 2019, because a lot of things coming this month and next month end times before or at times after or months to come. That'S a correct word now and months to come. If there's a lot of things exciting things coming to the channel, but I have been waiting and dying to put out for the longest time, because I've always been nervous to upload them and I don't think it will actually like them and so I'm pumped. I have an actual you know non sims video going up in probably either this week or next week, because I finished a build that I did in another game that I want to try and put it in the sims and see how well it turns out like On a build standpoint like if it looks the same or whatever I don't, I don't know I just I'm just so nervous but excited at the same time, but I'm just so pumped either way is like. 1139 is 11:32 p.m. on a Tuesday. You can see where my life is going right. Now it's going great, actually cuz, I'm talking to myself, but also talking to you guys. But I want to give a quick shout out to our good friends, alexhc spectacled Sims ex and Latoya Lewis for inspiring me to make this build, but also inspire me everyday to keep on going and conquering life of just life in general.
