Hairstylist Reviews // Hotand Flashy Hair Styling Tutorial #Hotandflashy #Hairstylistreacts

Angie from HotandFlashy is an amazing beauty and lifestyle Vlogger, so let's breakdown her video on long hair over 50 and see if a professional Hairstylist (that's me) agrees with her approach. I'm going to review some of the video with you and explain if I agree with her techniques or not. In her full video she explains her process for getting her hair to grow long and thick. In this video I elaborate on certain tips she gives about her styling process and I reveal key insights into the "why" these techniques help to get results. I believe knowing the why a techniques works can be even more important than the "what" sometimes. There are a lot of ways to curl hair and I share the key difference between using a flat iron and a curling iron! I also share about hair drying techniques and round brush tips.

MAKE SURE TO WATCH HER FULL VIDEO to learn all about what products she uses and why, as well as the step by step on how she styles her hair. Click here to see that video: https://youtu.be/NxdAh-s5im4

What'S going on and welcome to a hair tutorial reaction, video, a new series, i don't know what to call it yet maybe comment below and tell me what you think i should call it, but today we are going to go through a hair tutorial and i, as A professional stylist since 1995, i'm gon na, walk you through three simple questions. One, do i agree with their process two. What is the? Why, behind what they're doing so that you can get a better understanding of exactly what is going on so that you can get better results with these particular steps and three kind of my final thoughts on the overall video and do i think you should pay attention? Okay in today's video, we are breaking down angie from the channel hot and flashy we're gon na break down her video called long hair over 50.. My hair care routine. Now this is a very in-depth video that really goes deep into her whole process. Everything she does to take care of her hair, not just a styling tutorial. She talks about how she makes it feel, fuller and look fuller and thicker and all of the things she talks about all the specific products that she's using and getting good results with. So i definitely am going to link this video in the description below so that you can go watch it in its entirety. I'M going to break down some aspects of the hair tutorial part so uh with that said, let's dive into the video um having long hair at 59 years old babe come here uh. How old is she? I would say my age? 46.. 59.. Well, it's 59.! I go start a new facial routine. You are not 59 you're sure. That'S amazing! There'S no way you look, amazing people are dead, set against it and boy do they. Let me know it in the comments below my videos and sorry. Do you know what you she just said that people give her a bunch of grief in her comments because she's got long hair at 59 years old, oh people, okay, i'm gon na get into the whole breakdown here in just a second, but can we just start With this, i know that people think especially stylists that we think everybody needs to have their hair short. What you need to do is have hair that you like and feel confident in period get over the idea that anything about society or that anyone should tell you even myself how long your hair needs to be. I talk a lot about different hair lengths and why? I think certain people need to bring their hair to certain lengths based on face shape and based on all the things that, at the end of the day, you need to ignore me and anybody else if you feel most comfortable with having long, hair or short hair. That'S what you need to do. Do that cool thing about being over 40? Is you start caring less about what other people think? And you start everything makes you happy? Yes, that's the cool thing about. Yes, that's why she married me when she was over 40 because that's what made her happy all right back to the breakdown the blow dryer that i use is my dyson air wrap. I love this guy. I bought it a couple years ago to review it and have never used another blow dryer since okay, so first things. First, i get asked all the time what blow dryers or what hot tools. I would recommend that i use um and, if you've watched any of my videos, you've probably seen a handful of reviews about dyson products specifically, and you might also have seen the fact that i actually use them in the salon, and i use them on purpose - are Dyson, the only blow dryers and tools that i think function for anyone out there, no they're, not the only ones out there that function. Well. However, it is a scenario where you spend a lot on dyson, but you also get a lot with dyson. This isn't a situation where you're you know, buying a ferrari and getting the performance of a honda you're paying for a ferrari and you're getting the performance of a ferrari. I actually haven't used the air wrap. Yet it's the only dyson tool that i have not got. My hands on i've got the blow dryer and the straightener, and i love them so much. I haven't seen a big need for it. Yet if you do want to see me, do a review on the air wrap go ahead and comment below. Let me know and uh yeah dyson if you're listening anyway. Let me just go ahead and do the rough blow with this. I put it on high heat and high air generally ate it down right there. Okay, this is key. She did a really good job on this, so aiming it down her hair is actually a really important step. The other option is to drop her elbow like most people would want to do and actually dry the hair where the air is pointed up, the hair shaft. This is helping her smooth, her hair out from the get-go, so she doesn't have so much to smooth out with the brush or flat iron or whatever she chooses to use afterward so blow drying. Your hair down is actually a really important step. I usually blow it down in the front because i have like some pretty big cowlicks right in the front and i like to get those a little bit tame. That'S actually a very important step as well. So if you've got cowlicks that you're dealing with or trying to manage in the front, one easy way is to do what she's doing i actually go further than that and tell people really brush your hair, the opposite direction, you're, really going back and forth with it. This is just helping to break that callout down a little bit kind of work against it, so that when you do decide to part it the way that it's probably gon na part with the cowlick, it's not so dramatic and you can get a little bit more Control out of it, especially if you have bangs or shorter bangs, this to me, is an absolute must step. So i'm glad that she brought that up in this, because it's very important and i blow it about i'd, say 85 dry. I love that she brought that up. So actually i get asked a lot. How dry do you get it, and people think that they one either need to start finishing their hair once it's a hundred percent dry and other people think that they need to start from the time that it's dripping wet, because that's the only way they can get To smooth their hair out, truth of the matter is at about eighty percent. You can still get a very smooth polish on your hair. More often than not, your texture is probably going to allow you to get it to about 80 dry. Then you polish it off with a round brush. This is going to be a faster result because you're not trying to get it dry with the round brush you're, actually just getting it dry with the blow dryer like she's doing currently, and then you're just polishing it off with the round brush. However, if it's too dry a lot of times, it won't actually smooth out as well. So you really need a little bit of that moisture in there. Just not a ridiculous amount she's going through this pretty quick, but if you notice how she mentioned that she brings her hair down in the front against that cowlick. This is exactly what she's doing right now: she's kind of bringing it one way and then she's bringing the other way then she's bringing it down again. That is an important step and she's doing it very well. I just do this parting it on the side and flopping it over just to give it a little more volume on the top and i'll do the same for the back. That'S actually a very important key as well so she's bringing it off the way that she's not going to style her hair so that she can then let it fall back. The other way. I talked about this in actually the last video which i'll link right here where dominique was going through this, and she was actually brushing her hair, the opposite direction of the way she was going to part it to let those roots cool down and then to get More volume in the front, that's the same thing that she's doing here as long as you're drying those roots off the opposite direction that you want them to eventually style. It'S going to help create a little bit more of that root, lift and root. Lift is part of what creates volume. It'S not everything that creates volume, that's a whole other video, but it's part of it. So it definitely gives you a little bit of a foundation for volume. I'M hoping it doesn't need to be said, but maybe it does clearly. I am not a professional i'm not doing like a laborious, sectioning and round brush thing. I was never able to use a round brush and a blow dryer, not that coordinated, but using one hand with this i can get my hair so smooth and so sleek. It really has made all the difference in my hair, so, okay, so there's a little bit to unpack there. Actually i one love the fact that she mentioned that she's, not a professional, and this is supposed to be taken. I guess, if you would say, with a little bit of a grain of salt per se. The reason i think that's important is because many times people can actually start talking about what they do with their hair and the audience. It'S easy for them to take that in a perspective of this is the truth and the only truth. This is how things work and she's, basically just reiterating the fact that for her, this is her experience, and this is what's been working for her, and i appreciate that honesty and, i think, that's very, very, very important for people to catch. I think it's also important to talk about the brown brush perspective that she's talking about and how hard it is to actually do it on your own hair. A lot of people ask me if these kinds of tools work and the fact is, i used to use the all-in-one airbrush as we call them back when i first started doing hair all the time in the salon. They were super popular. I will say that they're not gon na smooth your hair out, quite as well as using a round brush and a hair dryer, and the only reason for that is because, with two tools, you're able to more effectively direct where that airflow is heading down, the hair. Shaft, which again is smoothing that cuticle down laying the cuticle down and smoothing the hair out, but with that said, if it's easier for you to actually use one unit, and you can't use two tools at the same time, then that's a much better option than just Not doing it at all, i do color my roots and do my highlights at home myself huh she does. She does her highlights herself. Okay, just this is completely kind of unrelated to the tutorial aspect of this. But let's just say i am not a stylist that thinks that people shouldn't do their hair. At home. I created an entire master class that teaches people how to cut and color their hair at home, i'm 100 behind it. If you can do it rock with it more power to you good job about them in lots of different videos, i actually have a video where i show you me doing my roots and my highlights i'm actually going to link that video in the description below, simply Because she's doing such a great job on her hair that i think you should go check that video out i haven't watched it. I can't verify what she does in it, but i can tell you right now that her hair looks really solid. So it's likely worth a how i do it, but for today i'm just going to touch up the gray and you just take it and kind of color right over your gray roots. I can't really see what i'm doing very well. This is great because a lot of people are concerned about the damage in their hair and how often they have to get their hair colored. There'S a lot of products like this out there. She talks a lot about different products that she uses in her video, so they all seem to work very well for her. I haven't tried them all, so i don't have a professional opinion on them, but it's kind of irrelevant in some cases, because she's kind of giving you her own history with how they've been functioning for her and they work really well so definitely check out the video And you can see what she's using the great thing is. You put them on, they hide the grout and then you rinse them out the next day and they're gone. So it's not a big deal, so you're feeling like hair color is too much maintenance or it's just been too much maintenance. This is a great way to kind of spread that maintenance out over a longer period of time, so you don't have to be in the salon every six weeks or every four weeks or whatever it is all right, so i'll grab the comb. I usually do just two small sections around my face with my shortest little pieces of hair, so i just grabbed those and then i just take the curling iron and oh, i can't really see what i'm doing those aren't going to go in all right. So i'm going to let those two fall out they're going to be separate, i clamp it down low, leaving the ends out and then i just roll it up to about there and then so it doesn't crimp. I have to like open the clamp a little bit and just kind of let the hair slide through a little bit, so it doesn't get so cramped up. Okay, it's important to note that, first of all, one thing that she did really well was she left those ends out. Okay, that's actually very important, so you don't get these little corkscrew curls at the end, but also if you notice the rate at which she pulled it through her hair, meaning, basically how fast she pulled it through and how long she left it in her hair she's. Taking very small sections in the front right now and her hair is on the finer side. So therefore she can use a lower heat and she can do it a little bit faster or not. Leave it in the hair as long and still get a pretty solid wave or get a good result. If your hair is thicker or if it's you take a larger section, you might have to leave it in there. A little bit longer go a little bit slower or use a little bit higher of a heat to get that same result. This is where we have to draw that fine line of where that damage sits, so definitely pay attention to that, but she's doing a really good job. Now, as you can see, when we're getting to the back she's, taking a much larger section and a much denser section so there's more hair in the back of her head than there is usually around the hairline, not usually always so she's taking a larger section and That section also has more hairs in it. So it's therefore denser that means that that heat is not going to travel through that hair or heat, that hair up, in the same way that it's hitting a small section in the front of her hair up. So she's going to get a little bit looser of a curl there or a wave there or she's going to be forced to leave this in for a longer period of time to try to match the same amount of wave that she has in the front. But even if she decides to leave in for a longer time because it's a curling iron, it's not going to hold the wave the same as a flat iron wood. This is mainly because curling irons, when you wrap the hair around it, if you notice on the outside of it right now that hair is not being heated up at the same rate as the hair. That'S sitting right against the iron. It'S going to give some discrepancy in how efficient that is in creating wave when you get to the front. It'S such a small section that it pretty much all gets pretty close to the same temperature now flat irons, because you're actually clamping the irons down on your hair strand and it's heating from both sides. It'S more efficient in the way that it's delivering that heat and therefore all of your hair is more likely to get to the same heat. That'S going to create a more even wave pattern, and it's typically going to last and hold a little bit longer and more often than not, it's actually going to be a little bit quicker. But with all that said, this for many people is an easier process to use a curling iron versus try to figure out the flat iron. So again, if that's, what makes most sense for you, that's how you should do it and she does a really good job at it. You don't have to worry about them being super perfect about leaving the exact same amount of hair out at the end. Sometimes it can be longer, sometimes it can be shorter. Sometimes you can roll it up higher lower. It'S the variety in the curls that really helps make them look a little bit more beachy. 100. I'M so glad she brought this up. She nailed this one. One of the things about curling irons that has it kind of lend itself to a little bit less of a natural wave appearance or a natural beachy wave look or a natural curl look is the fact that every loop around the iron has a tendency to be The same kind of curl pattern, naturally curly hair, doesn't have exactly the same amount of wave in every single curl, there's a little bit of variance to it. That goes a long way to making something look kind of more natural and just soft she's doing it a little bit different, so she's holding it a little bit longer in some areas, she's wrapping up a little bit higher in some areas, a little bit lower and Somewhere, all of these things are kind of modifying the amount of weight that she's getting in the different sections, which is going to create a more natural look. Most people don't pick up on that. She nailed that one 100 and i'm really glad she brought that up, because it's a big deal and see it looks great. But you can see, there's a little bit more wave in summaries and a little bit less than other areas, and i think she did a really good job so final thoughts. I think angie did a really good job of a lot of explanation here. So there's a lot of things that she touched on that are really important, that i think she did a fantastic job about so should you go check out? The video duh yeah absolutely definitely go check it out. I also don't think that you should go check her out purely because, if you're unfamiliar with her somehow she's very down to earth, even through this video in specific areas, i love her kind of canon, honesty about everything and there's really not too much hidden. It seems like so i can appreciate that just by itself, but aside from that, from the tutorial perspective, she did a really good job and everything is is spot on. So i would definitely go check out the whole video now in her video, like i said before, she goes through a lot more insight into a lot of different aspects of how she gets her hair feeling fuller feeling thicker how she styles it. So i'm hitting on specific points about the video, but there's a lot more value in this video to be seen so make sure you go below check out her video check out her channel go over there and show her some love and with that said now, i'm Curious, if you have a particular video that you've seen or a beauty blogger, that you kind of watch that you want me to do a reaction, video to one of their styling tutorials comment below and let me know who they are. I would love to go check them out and click on this and do the subscribe thing all the stuff. You know to youtube stuff. All right, you guys have a fantastic day. I appreciate you hanging out and i will see you in the next video take care. Bye

Kellie Fuller: I’ve been following her for a long time and I absolutely love her videos. Really fun to see two of my favorite contact creators!

kamiah bundy: I've been watching Angie for about 2 years now. One day, while scrolling, I saw a woman I didn't know. Although I didn't feel like tuning in at the time, I was interested in the subject matter and decided to make a mental note of who's channel it was. I cannot be emphatic enough to express how shocked I was when I saw the words HotandFlashy. Angie looks years younger than she did years ago.

Debbie Bifolck: Yes.....totally agree with older women and long hair! I'm 66 and look a lot younger and I too have long hair. I feel good and confident and that's what matters right? I love the 2 videos in this series and follow both! Great job!

Kim Valles: Love Angie and have been watching her for ages- she has absolutely aged in reverse! Her hair is great but I am glad that she trimmed it up a little bit- the ends were really thin and it looks so much healthier now. My hair is just past my shoulders with a fringe and long layers- I've tried bobs and no bangs...hated how I looked. Had forgotten what my real color looked like so have been growing in my natural color and grays after coloring and highlighting since the age of 16. Do what makes you happy, for sure. Would so appreciate a review of the Dyson AirWrap. I doubt that I will ever spring for it, but I could be swayed...

Trudy Morris: Hi Justin, I'm glad you gave Angie a great review. She's so classy and I've been watching her for years. Another beauty you might want to review is Tammy over at Tammy's Ageless Beauty. She has super long beautiful hair.

Gina Schiavone: I love that you did a review on Angie. She is one of my favorites. I trust her knowledge and appreciate that she highlights mature skin. Congratulations, Angie!

JennyJenny: I love to see Angie featured, she has a great channel. Thank you for this!

JLeigh: Another long time Angie subscriber. She is a wealth of useful information as are you! I love Dyson and have both the Airwrap and dryer -- love both but, for me, the Airwrap is the better tool. My hair hates flat irons and prefers to stay in the shape it dries in -- so, those coanda barrels are fantastic to shape wave without the pulling of a round brush. It's not for everyone - I think it's a love/hate thing. . .

colleen Davis: At 56 Im not cutting my hair any time soon . I have watched Angie for a few years she is amazing . Thank both of you for everything you do to keep us all looking our best

kirsten nance: I love, love, love Angie. She 100% made my skin care routine. She’s a lady through and through

Mary H: Love Angie! She’s terrific and REAL! Thank you for featuring her beautiful self!!

Laureen Kummer: Another one of my very favorite YouTube Influencers! Angie is amazing with skincare, makeup and hair. Thanks for highlighting her wonderful channel. Keep them coming!

OopsyDaisy: Angie is beautiful and has been my guru for about 8yrs.My skin is looking great and I put it down to following Angie’s routine. The research she does and advice she gives is priceless.

BlueJean1019: Hi Justin, Angie is my OG beauty/lifestyle influencer and I am so happy to hear your professional review of her techniques! I saw her pinned comment and I too was nervous to watch. I’ve been watching her channel for about 8/years now and I really trust her. Thanks for doing this video! It was great and confirms how wonderful Angie’s content is. ~Regina~

Shirley Adkins: Love and agree with your comment about long hair!! My mother in law thought I needed to cut my hair shorter at 30! (God rest her soul) unfortunately mine doesn’t grow as long as that now or I would wear it on my shoulders even now.

Amy Schulte: I’ve watched Angie for years and she is definite hair goals (that I’ll never reach ) at 54. I’d love to see you review the L’ange Le Duo.

Cindy Sharp: I love Angie and she is beautiful! I'm loving this series!

Stephanie Robison: I love Angie and already follow her! So glad to see her on here, and nailing her technique!

Carolina Anthony: Thank you so much for showcasing Dominique and Angie. I love them both. Always enjoy your content!. I show your vids to my hairdresser so she can do what you say lol!!!

Shirlyn’s Sleeve: I LOVE Angie and there are very few beauty vlogs for us in our 50’s and 60’s. Our needs are different than younger people. Dominique, Angie, Beth/50 plus beauty give us ideas but we are mature enough to now know what suits us (thin, fine, dry & gray is a challenge now but wasn’t 20 years ago). Keep showing some older beauty bloggers as we do know a thing or two☺️

T M: Love you and love Angie! I’ve been following Angie for at least 7 years, and am so glad I found your channel a couple of years ago!

Carolejean6 C: I saw this and was going to get very protective of Angie I love her !! She is very informative!!

Ri P: Nice job on your review of Angie. I've been following her off & on for 2 years and she's helped change my world in clothes and makeup. It's so nice of you to be so positive and confirming about her presentation. How mature {for lack of a better word} of you. I'm loving your presentations too! Thank you for helping me be more youthful looking in my higher number years {58+}. I've modified my bangs and volumized my top with a swoop of a new part line. My natural curly hair now freely floats and rests appropriately versus looking between Medusa or a unmaintained shrub. So between your hair tips & Angie's makeup - my head presents pretty {damn} good. Thanks y'all.

Teresa DiServio: Dude, I absolutely LOVE Angie AND I love YOU!! Thanks for giving us a professional hairstylists viewpoint on her techniques!!

Elle Peterson: Justin, thank you for doing these videos. I've been following Angie for years and it's good to see that there is some consensus on the information and techniques she's sharing. That said, I would love for you to do a review/comparison of the Dyson Air Wrap vs the dryer. That would be very useful info for those of us looking to spend serious money on one of them. Thanks!

Valerie Outlaw: Thank you for spreading the good vibes with your creative gifts and knowledge. As a teacher and artist I totally believe that sharing makes the world a more joyful and beautiful, place. I am 66 and have watched Angie for tips on skin care, and recently subscribed to your channel for ideas on how to accentuate my eye/temple area with fine, straight shoulder length hair. Keep shining your light!

vectorair: Thank you for sticking up for her on her long hair! She looks amazing! I always blow dry and curl my hair-when I dry it it turns to frizzy straw . The other day I let it dry naturally and next day curled. It was SO much shinier and held curl better. So crazy?!?!?

Kenda Adkins: Great segment!!! Love how you are dissecting a person styling their hair from start to finish. Gosh… sometimes us “non professional hairstylists “ wonder , I am using the product right and do I have the right product for my hair type, so your videos really really help all of us strugglers. Could you do a review on the dyson air wrap ? That would be awesome. Thanks for your awesome videos , keep them coming. I watch your new video every tuesday !!!!

Chris p: Thanks, Justin! Your breaking down and explaining what is going on and why is so helpful! I love learning new things and why they do or don't work!!

Stuart Pierce: Love Angie, she uses Curology Retina A and sunscreen that's her anti aging plan for most part. She is top notch. Thanks for great review. thanks Jennifer

Khanjari Joshi: WOW! I am loving this series too (not sure if it is a series yet, but you know what I mean). I am so glad to know that the tools are common amongst all of you becomes easy for a common lady to go out there and trust! Great video as always, you know I love when your wife comes in a video! Lots of love from Charlotte, NC ❤️!

Tina Leitenberger: Hi, you´re so right about hairlength and people´s need to decide for themselves. So I throw you a big "Yes!".

Christine Hoffman: What a great series. I just love her. Thank you

Lormod23: Followed Angie for years. Thanks for a great video Justin. Really like the way you produce this series.

Sue Cone: I love Angie because she is so through with what she is reviewing and is completely honest. I have very thick corse hair so I will never have long hair and I also no longer color my hair. I have white hair and it is cut in a bob and I get a lot of compliments on it. As I get older I may not be able to keep this but for now I am enjoying the cut. Thanks

Carol Ehrlich: Great job on this review. I have been following Angie for years. Admittedly, I was nervous about what you might say about her. I really enjoyed this review.

Jenls72: I've followed her for years. I use her skin care routine and know for a fact it works!

Conquering Mount Scrapmore with Brenda: After a hectic day in my sewing room, I get to hand quilt and watch you. I want you to know that I think you always have such great content on your channel! Thank you for posting this.

Julianne Rogers: Love this new addition of videos from you. I love Angie and watch just about all of her videos, she is very knowledgeable about skincare and obviously takes great care of hers. Keep up the awesome videos

Annette Taylor: Love Angie and this hair tutorial! One thing I have noticed is that how dry I dry my hair before bringing in the round brush is dependent on the weather. I live in southern Ontario Canada where it's soooo humid in the summer and my hair stays damp longer so I can blow my hair a bit more dry and the dampness I need to smooth it out will stay longer. Right now it's winter and the air is dry so my hair dries so much faster and if I let it dry too much before the round brush it's a big frizzy mess.

Deanna Huhn: Love love long hair. I’m 52 and I will have it as long as it looks good!

Jo Vickers: Hi Justin, I watch Angie. I bought the Dyson Airwrap before she bought hers and could see she wasn't getting the hang of the Airwrap function, so she doesn't use it but I LOVE it, it's so quick and easy to use, and doesn't damage my hair!! Thanks to you, I've just cut my hair into a bob and to my joy can still use the Airwrap being a stylist you don't need the Airwrap but I bet your wife would love it?

May Ebony: Justin, it's all your fault ❤️ I looked at my mother yesterday and thought "Wow, that's really NOT a good hairstyle for your face shape" And considering how much I'm a chip off the old block (we look soooo alike!) it was valuable information for myself lol

Barbara C.K.: Angie, is very honest. I've been watching Angie for about 4 years now. She has a million viewers now, because of her reserch and honest reviews.

paula Bradman: I subscribe to Angie AND you and always look forward to new AWESOME videos from you both!!! I'm 60 and have long hair and I LOVE it because I'm in a rock band and I have a fun time swingin' my hair around on stage!!!! Thank you for all of the wonderful hair tips and insight....you rock!!

Debbie Fulginiti: Angie is an authentic beauty blogger. She gives me a lot of helpful tips. I have watched her for a long time and have seen her own transformation. She is an asset to the YouTube community.

Rachelle Lewis: I am totally amazed that she is 59! I am like you go girl! Even without makeup on she does not look 59. Great job Justin in giving your professional review!

Tomar Crauswell: I love this new series and I'm excited to see more! Personally my hair is more on the wavy/curly side (depending on the mood the beast is in) so I would like to see some videos of wavy/curly hair in the future.

Dizzy Lizzy: I gave you a like as soon as you said "have your hair how you like". Absolutely. Back to watching... I persuaded my husband to buy me an air wrap for Christmas and I love it! I use all the tools. I've used it every time I have washed my hair since Christmas. Your videos are so refreshing in that you support people learning to manage their own hair.

Susan Butler: I’ve never seen Angie but will check it out! Thanks Justin for a further explanation of how she styles her hair and tips. It was helpful! And she looks great with long hair. I agree that if long hair works for women over certain ages, go for it!!

Tracey Poland: You are doing these in such a tasteful way and I appreciate that so much! A lot of YouTube critique hair, skin, workout and eating routines from others and make their whole channel around bashing others and it’s just a bad look. I had been watching you and I watch the gals you did videos on and all very classy!

Casey L: YES!! I love you Justin...wish I could have my hair done by you...and I'm so glad you feel that people should wear hairstyles that they love. I'm 50 years old and have long hair - mainly because I'm lazy and just don't get it cut. Anyway, I've definitely heard bloggers/Youtubers say that older women should wear shorter hair...for the life of me I can't imagine Why people think its necessary for a woman to cut off her hair at Any age! To each his/her own! And I absolutely Love Angie!

-Nellie -m: Angie is a lovely Youtuber and does a lot of research before she recommends anything on her channel, Thank You for featuring her on your channel, I’m wondering if you maybe could feature Tammy from “Tammy’s Ageless Beauty “ she has beautiful long hair and it’s very similar to my length of hair plus we are the same age @62 years young but I usually wear my hair up in a topknot or a messy bun, I have trouble getting curls with my gammy hands. Cheers from Queensland Australia ❤️❤️…and I won’t be getting it cut Lol I don’t care what others think. I’ve earned that right.

Mena Robertson: We love Angie!!! She is amazing!!!

Denise D: Love your channel and so cool that you are talking about Angie, she is amazing!!!

Jess S: Always love your videos! Would love to see a review on the Air Wrap. It's a tool that has a learning curve, so a review after lots of use and trial and error would be the most helpful. I've had mine for about 9 months and just finally figured out how to make my curls stay. I've tried ever trick (duck clips, cool shot, different wet/dryness, different products...), but ended up using my own strategy. Still into trying new techniques and products, would love to hear your view!

s a: YES. I am 53 and I love my long hair. It makes me feel sexy and confident and I look and feel more youthful. Love Angie, and now I am a new subscriber to this channel too! Do whatever makes you feel good, simple:))

Amy: Angie is the best! We all love her. Thank you for supporting her. She is my favorite and has been for years.

Reagan’sDogWhisperer: I do love this series on other vloggers. Good job for highlighting others’ work, too. I your tutorials and critiques have helped me develop a lot of insight into my own hair. You hit it today with your comment that sometimes tools are just not as easy to use personally than by a hairstylist. Clearly I am a clutz using two at the same time…like round brush/dryer. Even just a flat iron turns out differently on R and L!

Amy Maley: Love Angie! This was a great introduction to your channel.

Sara Grant: I really like this strategy of doing a review on other videos. Justin getting volume and thicker looking hair tips seem to rule. But for those of us with extremely coarse, thick wavy hair it'd be so helpful to know how to calm it all down so we don't look like a crazed cave women. Do we just do the opposite? Happy to be your model neighbor. :)

SarahleeT: Love Angie! I’ve been watching her for years ❤️

Jennifer Britzke: I love Angie. She's THE BEST at explaining.

Jeana H.: Hi Justin! Good job... just sayin. I really appreciate your thoroughness, professional input and honesty. We all know this is quite difficult-so as not to upset others, while at the same time, give some useful, detailed Pro advice! The beauty vlogging side could use someone like you to help straighten out some of their misguided opinions vs. facts, as well as applying methods. Maybe this would narrow down some of the carelessness. Angie is one of my faves, too, as she's honest, down-to-earth (as you said), thorough and does her research before sharing. So, thank you Justin-I love your vids, and in my opinion, you're doing a terrific job in presenting your facts/opinions and Pro knowledge! (Angie, I believe, does a wonderful job, too!). From an avid follower of both of you.
