I Let My Hair Stylist Choose My Hairstyle || Come With Me …

Hey y'all welcome to my channel. My name is kamai. I'M giving y'all the auntie angle today and the dusty hair is clean, though so don't play me. I am ready to go to get my hair done in brooklyn, i'm going to a stylist named ace of length. She'S doing my hair today, except i have no idea what she's about to do: i'm just providing the hair on my head and she's providing the sleigh. I have no doubt in her talent. Of course, i've seen a countless amount of her work on her page and what other people have promoted. So i know she could do what she could do like. I have no doubts, i'm just nervous because my hair could be very difficult to deal with sometimes and a lot of stylists, don't necessarily know how to deal with my hip anyways. I'M excited for this partnership with her i'm basically going to be a hair model for her to do whatever style she would like. She was sending me ideas of things that she was thinking of before and i'm beside girl. I understand i understand the want the need to feel like you're. I just understand that want as a stylist to try something new and nobody's booking it, so i want to give her the creative freedom to do whatever she would like to do to my hair. I just told her one thing: don't don't put no two space, bun style in my hair that that's one that was the one request. I made no two space buns, because i'm not 12, but whatever she wants. She could do. I'M really excited but nervous to see what that is going to be because i'll see y'all see. My head is kind of big yo. Just probably speak to you guys when i get there. Hopefully i'm not too shy to vlog around her because, like she's vlogging, i'm vlogging, i think she's vlogging, i'm not sure. If i'm going to be a model of just me posing for pictures. If i'm going to be a model of her showing the process of the style either way, i did my makeup because i don't look dusty on camera. Y'All my face is breaking out. I look real rough under this makeup. Not gon na lie it's giving insecure. It'S not funny, but i'm i'm. Why am i like that? I feel really insecure right now, because my skin is breaking out. My under eyes are as dark as my elbows and knees because i've been staying up really late, doing lesson plans, i'm just trying to get the hang of this. The whole teacher thing. If you watch my last vlog, you know i got a new job, i'm a first grade teacher, but it's not as easy as it sounds. You know it's not there's a lot of planning, there's a lot of preparation and right now, i'm a new teacher. So i'm going through the phase of just not being the best. I know that i'm not the best right now and i'm not comfortable with not being my best. So, whenever i'm not my best, i like to hear what to do better next time, because if i do something better next time, i'll be a step closer to being my best. So it's just it might get me a little refreshed, but i'm gon na be fine. I'Ll be fine, i plan on going through the slump of just sadness at times, because it's hard, it's a lot of work, and it's just like. I try my best every day, but a lot of the time my best could be better in this day. It'S just hard and i'm not complaining. I'M definitely not complaining, i'm just being honest about how it feels i feel like whenever i say something is hard when i say i'm nervous when i say it's a lot of work, people think i'm complaining, but i'm not complaining. I'M just being honest, it's hard, it makes me nervous. It makes me anxious, but i'm not gon na, not do it like you know i hate when people tell me. I have people think that me saying my truth about certain things. Is me just like complaining about it or me me not wanting to do it or me being lazy that, like no, it's not like that. It'S me speaking my truth about my specific experiences. That'S all anyways, i'm gon na see you guys when i get to the hair salon. Hopefully i'm not too nervous to vlog, hopefully give me rowdy it's so pretty in here. I forgot. So it's really nice in here i'm gon na give my subscribers a tour. It'S mad nice. She got the big mirrors up here, the white aesthetics period. It'S everything for me, y'all! She doesn't only do braids, you got some, i mean i don't know she wants that on camera, because it's not done yet. But you have a nail check here, too nice. You know that tick tock is like this. What'S up everybody, it's ace and we're gon na be doing some really cute um creative hairstyle kinda already know what i wan na do and just kind of gon na wing it we're gon na be talking little girl talk right now. We really don't know what to say um yeah, but it's just something fun that we just decided to do stay tuned for this creative stitch, braid style and watch till the end, yeah couch. So we're about to get started um, i think she's about to play music. So you guys are not going to hear me talk for the rest of the video for you. Oh, we should do it. Okay, i don't want to do too much might as well. I like her, i feel like i'm doing too much. I put this shoulder up. I put this shoulder up and not drop them, because i don't care. I don't even have to tell her i'm on my way she's, like i ain't coming at 501, either the facts you just have that vibe that don't play with me, i'm crying mm-hmm, so even like i'll have to message them the morning of like i knew i Didn'T have to mess with you the morning of you know what i'm saying like. Oh is it are we still on today? You know what i'm saying i knew i didn't have to message you i was like she was like. Okay, like i'm on my way, i was like okay, that's why i like you, oh, she said be there at five. She said nothing else after that, i'm gon na be there at 4 59.. Is my hair hard to braid? No, i feel like every time i go to someone to get it braided. They i don't know i feel like, oh, not for real. A lot of braiders are used to like that soft texture, natural hair and not like let my hair feel like it's kind of hard and coarse. So when they braid my hair, they don't they braid it like. You know how you would feed it more to a thinner purse, thinner, hair person, so damn you know like how people feed in more hair when the hair is thinner. I feel like they do that some braiders that i've gone to before they feed them. Just the same amount of hair, they feed into a thin hair person, so my brain be mad bulky. That makes sense, though, because a lot, that's actually why a lot of people come to me, though, because i really don't even add hair unless i need to like, for example, your hair, i won't add any hair until i'm literally done with the braid and just to Add them because your hair is already thick because i think they're concerned about it last long. I honestly, i would rather my hair look natural products that too, but i would even if it didn't last long, i still wouldn't mind. I prefer it be flat and natural. Looking and not last long, then it'd be mad. I think that has much to do with it, because people do say that's the reason, but to me that that doesn't really have anything to do with the longevity as long as you're like holding it like firmly enough to use the right product, you think, that's all That and then it's the product that you're using are you using something that you know the hair is able to stay, and on top of that, not everybody's hair is going to stay as long as you expect it, for example like if you got real um, you Know um: what's the opposite, of course, sauce yeah! I guess you soft touch your hair, whatever it's not gon na last, as long as somebody with like coarse hair, like yourself yeah ugh, so you look so cute thanks girl, it's 1 45 am y'all. I don't know how we're both still functioning right now: okay, y'all, so i'm finally home. It'S like 3 30 a.m. Right now, this isn't the way ace left my hair when she styled it. She left up here in a bun, but i kind of want the ponytail to hang. I'M real tired, like real, tight, real tight, but i just want to do a quick little outro and talk about my experience there. My pjs are on the bed, ignore all this, ignore all this stuff, ignore all that this is not the way ace left, my hair. She had it in a bun, i'm going to put a clip up here to show you guys how she had it, but this is how i am planning on wearing it. I love it so so much and i love that from the front. It gives an effect that my ponytail is very long. However, that's not the case yo, that's not the case. We got the money at the back. We got the dollar period, it's cute, it's giving. I love it. I might seem a little bit dry because it's 3am right now and i might have seen a bit dry in the salon, because i get a even little i'm comfortable with her. I still get anxious. I still get a little bit. You know a little bit watered down until i'm like super duper comfortable. So, like i said, it's like three a.m, but before i go to bed, i'm gon na give you guys a quick little review of my experience with ace of lens for one. My braids are not extremely tight and nothing i'm saying right now is impacted by the fact that you know i was a hair model for her. I'M gon na be honest because my scalp be pounding banging after i get braids from anybody, especially cornrows, and my scalp is not on it's not on a hundred today that my hair is tender and i'm tenderheaded. I still feel i still feel where the braids are in certain areas more than others, because those areas are more tender, but my hair is not excessively tight. Also ace is very nice and straightforward. I was telling her today like she gives me that vibe that no bs, no no bs no rules bent for nobody like you, do what is expected and that's all, there's nothing more, nothing less! That'S the vibe she gave me even. I know her in real life. So, regardless of me and her like being cool, i didn't want to go in there late or be late for my appointment or anything. So i was on time. She was cool, we spoke, you know it was not awkward for me, it was not really awkward. For me to speak with her there, however, i am kind of nervous to vlog, but we don't know. I'M gon na see how that came out. Hopefully the vlog came out. Well, i feel like i was nervous to be too energetic and do too much in her chair. So overall breathing experience.
