Brave Jay Sebring lost his life in 1969 trying to shield a 8 1/2 months pregnant Sharon Tate from Manson family hit man Charles Tex Watson. Tex shot Jay in cold blood then killed Sharon Tate and Abigail Anne Folger , and Wojciech Frykowski. Watson now claims to be a born again Christian and wants parole. Before I entered the hair business 14 years ago, I made up my mind that I was going to do all that I could to elevate the profession. But strangely enough my biggest stumbling blocks have come from the profession itself and the laws of the profession. Make-up and Theology: as a hairdrsser i'm amazed at what a good teacher he was and the stuff he was saying in the sixties about elevating the profession is what stylists are saying now. i know he's in heaven

James Varela: @7beers Tex Watson has said over and over again at parole hearings he ordered everyone down on their stomachs. Jay told Watson Sharon was Pregnant and could not do it. He then tried to grab Sharon to force her to the floor and Jay put himself in front of Sharon and Tex shot him at point blank range.

crapple009: @kingcorvettec5 Polanski and Jay were not close friends before Polanski entered the picture. It was only through Sharon that they knew each other. After Polanski and Sharon became a couple, Jay remained in their close circle of friends.

Petronius Arbiter II: That's because Supercuts, like every other full retail chain outfit for hairdressing in existence, has to copy styles that Jay and his colleagues pioneered. His hairstyle in this clip may look similar to a lot of SEVENTIES hairstyles, but it's not a style that closely resembles anything I remember from the late sixties.
lilic1: I don't know exactly what happenned in the living room when Watson killed Sharon and Jay. I just know Watson killed Jay and Sharon was the last who was killed - Watson killed Jay and then Susan Atkins&Watson killed Sharon?

Nice belief system you have there. Religious people even do this to kids, how sick. You know that 99.9% of religious people believe whatever religion their parents drilled into them. So if your parents are Muslim you are a Muslim, if catholic then catholic, Hindu then Hindu. Is that really a reason to follow some life belief?
