Hey guys, it's Taylor Hugh welcome back to best in beauty, a series where I take you to the most popular places for all your beauty needs today, I'm at one of the best hair salons in South Korea comment on that be in and I'll be getting a Hair makeover by their celebrity hair, stylist Jang, and she is the go to stylist for many korean a list celebrities, including jenny from black pink. I have lovely Jung in here who is their celebrity hairstyles, so it's gon na give me a hand makeover. Today. I wanted to ask you: how long have you been doing hair, for I told me and how bogus all she can say help you tell you know, go a long way, always smooth that oh wow, 10 years. That is a long time, and now you have. You worked with because I know you work with a bunch of a list. Celebrities - and I know Jenny from black pink is your client, but who else do you do here for cuyahoga fell upon, didn't, have a burger shop? Well, emergency lubricant contain a secret. I receive a council, I sit in, do you're all wrong. Kylie come down here so soon. Well, the list just goes on and on. I know I'm in good hands and I'm super excited today because I actually don't know what hairstyle we're gon na choose, but for my face shape, what do you recommend? How can you check out me so I will obtain in today's all. Whenever I take I'm a chopped cumin, how do to Sydney it's lying hope today, I'm gon na be late or equal to 20000 Boudica Kirikou, Oh calm down. Huh cannot see man only phonemic, hottie, Modena home run. I can catch a man will do me vanished. Go out, there's a blue metallic in Antigua Kevin said own, a layer of the Cala Boca Chica Tommy ray. I saw Kim jong-il the question um I with Covina today or the copter turns around. I just play those he'll have more than perfect, because I've been seeing a lot of videos on Instagram where Korean has started. Do the face cut. So when you tie your hair off, you actually have the baby hairs to frame your face and the the sideburns actually style and cut that so yeah, I'm pretty excited, shall we shall we do it now? Most hair salons in Korea also have like a makeup area. So I'm in the makeup era and the active salon - and you can just see they spread up all the makeup and my eyes just lit up literally. They have so much makeup yet and I love how it just like perfectly laid out so far. The service has been really good as soon as I walked in the girls asked me. If I wanted a drink, I ordered a green tea and they also gave me some a little like banana chips and almonds. Just like on I'm impressed, I was given a robe to wear and was taken into the shampoo room to get my hair washed for my hair type. They opted for products from au jus, which is a Korean professional, haircare brand. The shampoo smelt like bubblegum and the hair wash felt amazing. I could honestly sit there all day once my hair was washed jamun brush it out in sections and applied the hair treatment as she was brushing out my hair. She did get a bit of a shock when she realized how dry my ends were at first. She said my handled pretty healthy, but she soon realized. That was not the case after it was shampooed okay, so I'm getting my hair steamed at the moment. The treatment has been applied and a tip that I Jung in recommended that you steam the hair so that the treatment gets absorbed it better into the hair, and so that's like sumo realizes I was asking expose too much is like probably that's not true, but if You want to do it at home. You can wrap your hair in a very hot towel to kind of, let that like sing inside, so we're gon na keep this on for five minutes. After my hair was steamed, I went back to the basin and my hair was rinsed out and then came the best head massage ever she had the perfect pressure, it was super soothing and relaxing. I wish every time I wash my hands like this and we need a faces. I got ta feel more. Videos like this guys is the best. Now it's time for my haircut. I have not had a haircut in a very long time guys. I think it's been like a year. Most of it is all one length. Agen really have any layers, so john and trimmed off the damaged ends, whilst keeping most of my length, and she created some layers. After that she applied a Scouse toner to help balance refresh and nourish my scalp. Then she sprayed my ends with a hydrating mist. Now we're ready to move on to blow-dry. She shared with me a great tip for creating volume at the roots. So when you first blow-dry your hair, you want to blow-dry it forward, and this is going to create a little bit of root, lift and before you flick it back and dry. The rest of your hair. Once most of my hair was dry, jeong-hoon went in with her scissors and finished cutting my hair. I really liked how she layered the front part of my hair feel like it did, help to frame my face. You'Re going to be able women to hug attach a new bracket after that, she shows me how to create volume at the roots using a round brush and her hair dryer, as you can see as she's drying, my hair she's lifting the brush upwards, so that it Creates a subtle bump in my hair, giving it more lift and shape. Now, if you find that this too hard, she also showed me an easier way to create volume using small hair rollers and clips signatures within each I'm. Caze are beyond the momentary peace. Excuse me without recording the resolve to keep hand among our agenda today, once you've got all the roll is in, you would blow dry your hair for one minute and then give it five minutes to cool. So during this time you can finish off your makeup. Do your face, I don't know, get dressed and then you would take these out to get the volume, so we literally just found these pink rollers because they like they clips almost I've, never seen rollers like this and because you can find them online. So I can try it out, so she popped these cuts it back in it's like a little velcro, but it has like a little bit of a curve. So I guess once it's clipped, it creates a root, lift or root ball. So this actually stays in your hair. So I guess it's a great alternative if you don't want to tease your hair, so look at some of these two got ta get everything here. When she removes the clips and rollers, you can see how much volume that gave my hair next comes. Curling the ends of my hair. She uses a hair, straightener and hair color to create a mixture of curls. I thought this was a really interesting technique, because when I usually curl my hair, I just use like one hair Tong, all my hair straightener just one tool generally, but with this technique it makes my curls look less uniform and gives it an overall different look. It kind of looks more effortless and just more natural after that she sections my fringe and cuts some light bangs to help frame my face now. This is very Korean, I'm not too sure if you've noticed like Korean celebrities I'll model with they usually have these. Like little baby hairs and sushi code installed, and it makes him look a little bit younger more youthful, so this is how it's done. I really what's it look like I'm gon na remember how she cuts it, so I can trim it later on. Then my hair was styled into a low pony John pinches and pours a few sections of my hair at the back to give my head more shape and volume, she also placed some clips on the side to help hold my hair in place and she used hairspray To lock everything in now, it's time for the finishing touch: Jolin, curls and styles, my new bangs and she uses a little bit of wax and hairspray to hold the overall look together. Guys look at these. I have these baby hairs cut and she's curled it, and so it frames my face, and it makes me look so much younger, plus she's, like added some volume to the bag. I feel like it. I feel very Korean, like yeah. Okay, here is way better lighting. Now you guys can see, I have these like little baby hairs, it's very Korean, but yeah. I specifically wanted to see how I looked weird like I guess, like these Korean baby, bangs and yeah makes me look. Young guy looks like your friend. You look like Manuel. I feel extra cute today, I feel like I need to get some like earrings and like wear them like baby, pastel, colors or something yeah. I don't know how I'm gon na recreate this at home. I never knew baby hairs could make such a big difference. I just have so much volume and, like my hand, feels nice to it's very healthy at the end when she was doing the treatment she was actually ends a quite dead, but the rest of my hair was healthy, so I've actually trimmed a little bit of that Off plus did the treatment so that added a lot of moisture to my ends by standing it hardens painting, you know it's all based on ima, monitor drop. It gave you an the game but yet or goodies. How about going in the kitchen then staining what about what he did? He wasn't me that I absolutely love this style. I was saying I wish I got this earlier because it does actually frame my face. It gives my face more, like definition, and usually when I have my hair up, I feel kind of conscious because I have like empty spaces everywhere, but with this like new phase cut and they're like frames baby hairs, it actually makes me look so much more sculpted Without makeup, so this is like really good like way to contour your face with hair. So thank you so much. I am going to love it I'll leave her Instagram below you can check out her work in the some of the celebrities she's worked with, but I hope you guys have enjoyed this episode of best eating beauty.
