Visiting A Korean Hair Salon (Hair Makeover): Natural Curly Hair

Hello, everyone, so, as you can tell by the title, i'm going to be cutting my hair here in south korea and i'm so excited because i haven't cut my hair since, like the whole quarantine, corona thing happened and i cut my own hair the last time and You know it's pretty long now you can tell by my videos that it's pretty long, but i just look forward to see the difference from like cutting my hair in like back home in the us compared to here so we'll see i i'll insert some photos here Of like, what's my inspiration for this and i'm so excited, i'm not like dyeing it or anything, and it's literally just the cut, but i wanted to document it because i have uh curly hair, but it's more like curly wavy. So i can like control my hair. A lot like it's not super stubborn, curly, um, so yeah, but i have natural curly, hair and right now it's in braids just to keep it contained, but yeah, i'm so excited. And if you want to see that, if you're interested in like um, how that whole thing works and like you have my similar hair type, keep watching um, i do not have like straight hair, so i can understand the struggle when trying to find like good places And this place we just found on the internet, so if it's good i'll leave it down below on the description uh, but it is in busan, south korea. I don't think i'll get it super short not today, today is not the day for me to go super short, but i will, but i feel like i still need to enjoy my long hair a little bit more, so yeah keep on watching hey. So in this part uh, i didn't show it, but they actually washed my hair, and then they took me to the chair where i was gon na get my hair cut and then you can see here, she's drawing it out how the haircut will be, and i Truly appreciate that she took the time to even do that, so my hair was actually quite long and it was like one length. So i was just kind of nervous to see how it was gon na turned out and just to see if the layers were gon na look on me, because i have never had this many layers, but you can see here it was a super long. So i did ask her to do like a v cut. I didn't want to like square from the back, so i wanted it to look like a v, so shout out to my boyfriend. He was pretty much my translator, my translator everywhere, not a good thing. I really want to learn korean, but he is truly an angel. Do you think you can we're? Okay with handling the weight of the hair? If it's okay, i think you can just leave it like long hair, but down here you, you should bear like the weight. All the weight right yeah, but it helps you to have the natural layers most popular way um. You can actually see me just staring at her because i was like oh my god, like she's cutting so much but um. It actually wasn't that much. She was just making my hair uh way lighter because since it was just one length, my hair was very heavy and she like did a miracle, and now my hair is so much lighter bye. So so you guys this part, i look so funny. I felt so bad like not bad, but just like funny in this, and i'm not used to it, but it's very common here for uh you'll see korean girls just wearing this on a train so not as weird as i felt bye do mm-hmm. I am so happy with the results. Like i'm surprised, i don't know my hair. Could look this good, bye, okay, everyone. I hope you can hear me, but that was the end of today's video.
