Korean Grocery Shopping, How I Style My Hair + Fun Date Night!!

Pretty basic: let's get cooking good morning, guys welcome to the vlog hello. I am so excited about today's vlog, i'm back home. I just made my double latte. It is a beautiful dreary day outside my favorite kind of weather, we're in the kitchen. What are you doing? Cal, making a bagel make it a bagel, i'm gon na make some breakfast as well and before we get started with today's vlog. I just want to say thank you so much to living proof. I just got back from a little trip yesterday, so today i'm just going to kind of get my stuff together, i'm going to clean and then kel and i are going on a date tonight which we're really excited about. Where should we eat at there's so many options, i'm not even just like, walk around and find a place that looks good all right, that's what we're gon na do, and yes, let's make some breakfast, shall we for breakfast what i've been really wanting to try to Make is blueberry oatmeal, i don't know about you guys, but growing up. My favorite thing to eat for breakfast was those packets of oatmeal. That was like a variety pack. It came with strawberries and cream oatmeal blueberries and cream peaches and cream, and then i think, bananas and cream as well and my favorite was always the blueberry because of the little blueberries in it. It wasn't the healthiest thing, so it was always kind of like a little treat that my mom would give us so with that being said, i want to try and recreate it, because i think i have the stuff to do it. Let'S see how this goes. Okay, so i'm back, i think this is all that we're gon na need a bowl for the actual oatmeal itself. I'M gon na use this thing that i got at trader joe's. It is their organic rolled oats with ancient grains and seeds. So it's got rolled oats, amaranth, quinoa, chia, seeds and ground flax seeds. You can use whatever oatmeal you want. Obviously, i'm going to let's see: half a cup of grains and 3 4 cup of water, okay, let's, let's measure her quarter cup making a mess. What else is new half cup of greens? We got half a cup of water to make it creamier, i'm going to do a half cup of almond milk. This is vanilla, almond, milk or i say half quarter cup of vanilla almond milk, i'm gon na add in some vanilla cream stevia to make it sweet and delicious a few drops of that and then for the most important part, are freeze-dried blueberries. Obviously, you can use fresh fruit, but these little dried ones remind me of the actual little packets and then, when they heat up, they get all plump and delicious. I like a lot so i added in like a quarter cup of those you can do strawberries. You can use blueberries, you can do peaches whatever and then it turns the milk. This color look at that. Oh my gosh, it's so purple all right! It'S already pretty thick and i like a thick oatmeal. So i'm gon na microwave this for one to two minutes and then it should be ready. Let'S try, okay guys, it doesn't look good, but this is my favorite consistency for oatmeal. I think it looks. I think it looks good. All right we got ta. Do a taste test - oh my god, hot, oh, my god, so good! Actually i think it's a little too thick, i'm gon na add a little bit more milk and then mix it to cool it down and that's gon na be my breakfast. I am feeling nostalgic. I love it all right guys going to get ready. I am getting sleepy, so i'm getting myself a celsius. How cute is this little mini fridge, hi guys, okay. So since i last talked to you, i was honestly just like chilling cleaning up a little bit here and there i've been doing laundry from the trip and i need to put all my stuff away and i don't want to break a nail. What can i use to open this? Oh, i know innovation, okay, all right guys, so i'm going to get ready for a date night tonight i have some new products and things that i want to try out. Oh wait. Let'S try them out together. I forgot finally got my hands on some stuff and i've been really really wanting to try them out so hold on. Let'S start by putting some dry shampoo in my hair, this is the living proof, perfect, hair day dry shampoo, you guys know. I love to start. My getting ready process by putting some in my hair and then letting it sit beautiful, put the little clips back in and we'll get started on the makeup, so cal and i have not gone out like actually out on a date in a very long time. So i want to get very cute and dressed up also as a part of our day, we're going to the korean grocery store, because it's my aunt's birthday today and there's some stuff that she wanted. So we're gon na go pick it up and then drop it off for her and then date night will commence. So i'm gon na start by putting some moisturizer on get that in the skin. All right, moisturizer on time to prime i'm gon na use the dior backstage primer just a little bit of this beautiful okay, so i was able to get my hands on the charlotte tilbury flawless filter. I know these are super super super popular. I wanted to try the baby one because i wasn't sure if i was gon na like it or not, and also it sold out in so many different colors or shades. Rather so i got one in three fair and one in 4.5 medium. I feel like i'm in between and the four was sold out everywhere, so i'm gon na try this. I think people put it on with the beauty blender. So let me go grab mine. All right got the sponge. Let'S try this! My hands are dirty. I got ta open it all right. First, we have three fair, oh that might match me actually all right, let's just try that one first blend it in so this is supposed to just give you very, very, very light coverage. If you can't tell you can tell, i am breaking out like crazy right now, so i'm gon na need concealer. On top of this i'm gon na be honest. I don't really see much of a difference at all. Let me try again: oh there we go. Okay, maybe that was better, it's actually very pretty. It gives me like a nice healthy glow. Let'S try on this side as well. Oh yeah! I just realized this one's 4.5 medium! That'S why it's a little darker! Oh my gosh! It actually looks like nice and glowy. Okay blend it down, i kind of look like a glazed doughnut, a very tan, glazed, doughnut. Okay, if you have flawless skin, this will make you look beautiful, but i don't so, let's conceal, conceal, don't feel i went to sephora and i picked this up. This is the nars soft matte concealer brush as well as i think this is new. I want to say this is the soft matte complete concealer? I got the shade custard and apparently it's super full coverage, which is what i love. So i'm picking some up on this little brush all right. I put my concealer onto my more problem areas, also under my eyes, i'm a little tired today now i'm taking my favorite foundation right now, which is the it cosmetics, your skin, but better foundation and skincare. Taking a few pumps of this and just blending it in all over the face. Okay, that looks really good. I'M gon na try out the rare beauty. Bronzer sticks now, i'm gon na try this one. This one is in always sunny. I'Ve heard these are very creamy. Oh, that's actually, so pretty wow, just a little color all right, i'm gon na carry on with the rest of the makeup, because i'm just gon na use regular products for the most part, and then we will catch up after for hair hi, guys. Okay, my makeup is done and time to do the hair, so i'm gon na rub in my dry shampoo - and i did this hairstyle about like a week and a half ago or so, and normally my hair takes so so so long to style and get done And the way that i did my hair took me no joke less than 15 minutes for my entire head of air and it was the best my hair has ever looked so. I wanted to share with you guys how i did that i just put the dry shampoo in, as you saw, i'm just gon na clip this away just for now. Okay, so this is the curling iron that i use the t3 micro. It'S the one with the interchangeable heads and i believe this head is a one and a half inch curling barrel. So it's very large. I have it on the third heat setting. If you can see that so it's not too hot, and basically all i do is i just take. My hair grab a back large section about an inch and a half or so then i clamp on my hair and i give it a little twist right at the top hold hold, hold, hold hold hold, and then i wait a few seconds and then i pull It down a little bit twist it again. This gives you the perfect beachy wave and it stays so long again. Just pull down hold hold, hold, hold, hold, leave the ends out like this. Let go and you've got the perfect beachy wave and you just keep going all the way around your head, taking large sections, so no joke this half my head will take five minutes or so i like to also interchange the direction so that we don't have one Giant curl at the end - and we just keep repeating it - takes pretty much no time at all. The big barrel makes it go so quickly and also what's great about that is less heat on your hair for less amount of time. So it is not as damaging all right. Let'S speed through i'm, going to do this side and then do this side and then we'll come back. Okay, guys, hair is all curled now to actually style and keep it in place for the next like three days. This is what i'm gon na do. First, i like to comb through with my fingers. I much prefer this than a brush just because it gives it that more, like natural look and a problem that i always have is that my hair looks flat and it falls throughout the day. So that is where this comes in here: it is it's the full dry volume and texture spray. This is a new product that i've been trying out that i love from living proof. If i could only have one hair product out of everything, hair sprays, pomades mousses everything, it would be a texturizing spray. I love the grit that it gives my hair. I love the way that it holds. I love everything about it. Okay, so i'm gon na demonstrate on one side of the head and show you how much better it looks. Okay, so how i apply this, i just shake it up and i lift - and i just spray throughout from like the roots, to the tip keep shaking in between all throughout. I love putting it at the ends too, and kind of like rubbing it in like this. Okay, so i tussle my hair with my fingers and it already has like this nice grittiness to it and if you can see it has like nice hold as well. I know my hair is dark, so it's hard to see. Okay, do you guys see the difference between this side and this side? This side is just so much more textured and voluminous versus this side, which is flat and also it falls out so easily, and i kid you not my hair now will last it looks so good got ta blend the extensions in with the real hair. Also, what's amazing is that it provides heat protection. So if i have like a little piece that i want to re-curl - and i just put this in - i can just go in with my iron and redo it just to kind of touch it up a bit. Also, you can spray it back on the hair if you want to touch up any specific pieces, it is amazing. This is my actual favorite favorite hairstyle. I think it's so perfect. It'S like casual, you can dress it up. You can dress it down. Also, if you want to get even more volume, you can like flip your head over, do it underneath there are so many ways to use it. So it's amazing for jeans, i'm wearing the 90s jeans from good american super comfortable. These are new balance: 550s they're, black and white, so fun and very comfortable as well. So that is the fit and let's go to the korean grocery store. I put a new case on my phone. It says: do you guys have almond milk, which is me everywhere and of course we need to pick a perfume, i'm feeling cloud intense tonight there we go let date night commence. Also, i'm resting on the soulcycle bike that we had to put here, because the garage is still not looking so good, but we're making advances. I added this vest to my fit to make it a little warmer because it's going to be cold, it's kind of rainy outside today. This is from abercrombie come here, cal give them an outfit of the night. I'Ve got clothes on whoa where's. This from i don't know: okay, topman puff hoodie, kids, sweatpants nike shoes, whoa, look at my new picks, aren't they cute they're nice new balances or 90s new balances, man. I thought you're saying nike's upstairs. That'S why i got confused. He was eavesdropping, you're screaming all right. I got a breadstick to tide me over till dinner. Let'S go to the grocery store. We'Ve arrived at the grocery store, so for my aunt's gift we got her a gift card to cerlitab, which is a really nice cooking kitchen supply store, but also she wanted bonica, which is a korean tea, so we're getting her tea as well. Papaya sounds so good. Look how big these ones are. I'M just looking seeing what tickles my fancy, what produce we might need. Ooh, bok choy looks pretty good look at these bitter melon, oh aloe and kumquats. They got it all here. You guys, i'm facetiming, my mom say hi mom. Well, you can't, you can't even see her guys. I was fully convinced they didn't have the large bottles here. I was wrong. That'S why i was facing with my mom. I was like what do i get? That'S not here. She'S like it's, it's right there remy. I want some of these. These are the best i'm gon na get some for me. I was looking for the corn cheese stall. What are they called? Why can't? I remember corn dogs, we got. I know i got this. One they've got a potato one. I'M gon na get some for it to try. These are so good by the way this one's mozzarella, cheese and fish. No, she likes the rice, cake, mozzarella, cheese and rice cake, and then i'm also gon na get this one potato and mozzarella corn dog yum. They got a new one here. I love knowing the inventory. This color is cute. They made little ball versions, so i'm gon na get all these for her yum. I'Ve never looked up, but look at all these boxes of noodles. They have all the duck ones over. There, the carbonara the cheese - oh my god, there's so many we had the jackpot. Okay, that made me want to stop over in the noodle aisle to get more of my favorite one. I am obsessed with this. One: they've got carbonara like a cheesy spicy one. They have a jejung one too tomato cheese. This one is so good. Wow they've got so many. Also i'm gon na grab a snack because i'm hungry got ta get one for the ride. We got a long ride ahead of us. Shrimp chips are good. We got onion soup chips, so many options. Oh these turtle ones are so good, so we got turtle chips. There are those chips that are like layered, so they're really light and airy. It'S like a croissant chip. It is a crystalline chip. This one is sweet bean. Flavor, which kell likes sweet beans, so i got them that, have you read a choco pie, baby yeah you've had me eat it before lovely. Well, i'm getting a chocolate pie. I got the turtle chips in the churro flavor and then also the seaweed flavor, which is my personal favorite, but these these are. These are so good. I was looking for the regular. I got the cacao because i couldn't find the regular, but i want the regular one hello while we've made wow okay, it's raining and my hair looks fantastic. Still look at the lighting in daiso, hello, okay, we just went to go, find we're trying to put our name down at a restaurant, but it's really crowded here. Also patrick star was outside and he's the nicest ever hi patrick love you he was like. Are you? Okay is everything good i saw you were crying in the vlog he's so sweet, so we're at daiso, which is a japanese dollar store. It'S like everything is a dollar fifty, as you can see, cal's never been, and it is an experience. So while we wait for our dinner, let's see also the lighting amazing. Look how good you look. Bead things, iron beads they've got cleaning supplies a gopher. I remember one year all shane wanted for christmas was a was a gopher. Look at all these things. I swear they have things you're like i didn't even know these existed. Lucky little dog diapers, maybe they're having their period little dog leashes. We got things if we garden non-woven fabric sheets. I was laughing at these and then i realized we could actually really use these they're like little sauce dishes, little duo ones, little baby ones. This is amazing and they're playing kelly clarkson. What more can a girl ask for? I want these. Let'S get a real cat. Oh my allergies said now. I think i want some moist smooth clay. How about you? I love some moist smooth clay. It was actually really nice to squeeze that's really nice very moist and smooth. If you ask me, look at all these erasers, oh my god am i about to start a eraser collection. I would get these ones because they look fun and nice and friendly am i actually gon na get a sudoku puzzle book? Oh my god, it's so hot and smart because they have cooking chopsticks. I'M gon na get one of those wow. Oh just for ginger. That'S cool that lobster, or these crab scissors apple corer they've got like little rice. Things like those moms on tick. Tock make two little lunches. This will be me one day, the abcs they have my favorite doshi broth. Here i also got a musubi maker. I cannot wait to use that. Maybe they have spam here as well. Oh, my god, they've got such good stuff we're looking at the snacks per usual. This clip is solely to cut your bangs look at there's like a visor attachment on it. So you can see through that's kind of cool. What is this a curling iron? What oh i got ta try that we came to dinner, we're getting soup. We got miso soup cinnamon, some sort of cabbage look at that dinner was amazing. Now we're trying this crepe place that i've always wanted to try and they have viral creme brulee crepes. Look at him, brulee that oh yeah get it get it get it. I want the creme brulee one. I don't know if i want regular or the green tea. Mochi do nutella banana no okay, i got my creme brulee crepe. Just the plane got ta. Try it triple chocolate, crepe! Oh my god, chocolate lovers that looks really good. This is present. I got it. I already dropped my spoon, so i have to get a new one though. It'S taken us 20 minutes because of our creative differences. Also, the one of cal and i is going viral, so our creative differences were worth it. I put a new phone case on my phone. This is from casey 5. It says: do you guys have almond milk? If you guys don't follow me on tik tok, you should i'm going to start posting a lot more, i'm doing like a little sunday reset vlog on there today, and i just made my breakfast. I have a piece of sourdough toast that we got from chat's bakery and i put on some cream cheese and a thick slice of heirloom tomato with flaky salt mmm. I wanted a little salty and a little sweet on this half. I did almond butter and then raspberries that i mashed on top, so i'm eating my breakfast and then i'm going to run to the grocery store, because i have to pick up some things and then later today, cal and i are taking a pilates class together. There'S a studio nearby that i wanted to try out and cal said: he'd go with me for my first time, so it's gon na be great. Have you taken a pilates class before sir? Never i'm really curious. I found shelf-stable oat milk, which will be great to hold in the pantry because we go through this like crazy. I found so many fun potato options, kel's walking away. We got so many things because we're so hungry. I got roasted potatoes, coffee, hash, browns, fries and sweet potato puffs. Okay, we got we got enough. I also got tuna salad and chicken. Salad and cow got pizza, hi, guys. Okay, i'm home i took a bath. Just did my makeup and i re-curled some pieces of the hair re-spritzed in. Do you see how good my hair looks? I now need to change and i'm going to go over to lochie's house we're going to have dinner together, just hang out and then tonight we are going to karaoke with eli and elle mills. I think bethany mota's going like 2015. rem is absolutely shaking. So it's gon na be a fun night, but i need to pick an outfit and i'm thinking comfy casual. Yet cute.
