Testing Tiktok Viral Sally Beauty Dyson Airwrap Dupe - Worth The Hype?

Hey guys welcome back to my youtube channel if you're new here i'm julissa today, i am at a different location, as you can see, i'm at a hotel - and i love this bathroom. It looks so nice. Is the renaissance in allentown pennsylvania, it's so nice, i'm going to be trying the viral hair tool from sally beauty, so this is kind of like a dyson supersonic dupe as you can see um it's kind of like the attachment that i tried with the dyson supersonic. I'M gon na put a video right here, so you guys can see it, but this only retails for 130 dollars and you can only get it at sally beauty and i just really wanted to try it because it went like viral on tick, tock and yeah. I wanted to try it because this is supposed to be like a dyson super. Well, actually, a dyson air wrap dupe, so yeah um, here's what it looks like it actually brings. So many different attachments like this for 130 is not bad. I mean, let's see how it works, but i've heard pretty good things about it, so i'm very excited to be trying this. It brings the blow dryer a nozzle attachment. It also brings the two curling barrels, one to each side and a diffuser attachment so yeah. The only two attachments that i'm going to be using are the curling attachments, but if you want me to do another video trying the diffuser attachment or maybe trying to dry all my hair with the nozzle attachment, let me know in the comments below i actually blow-dried. My hair, just now with the dyson supersonic and the nozzle attachment with a round brush. I actually used this round brush from dyson and i really like the results. I think my hair looks pretty smooth for just a blowout. By the way it has two different speeds. Three different heat settings and it has a cool and curl shot. I guess we'll try, those okay, so this one's going to this side, as you can see, okay, i was using it wow. This gets very hot okay, so one thing that i notice is that your arms will probably get a little bit higher as compared to the dyson. But look at that curl nice, i'm gon na, take a pretty big section. It'S definitely grabbing the hair, as you can see. Okay, so maybe a smaller section, but it is grabbing the hair while it's getting so hot, i have to take off my earrings hold up. Oh, this gets hot. Oh, this gets really really hot. I'M gon na take off my earrings. Is this even good for your hair, like it got so hot yeah, this definitely grabs smaller. I would just continue to use this on pretty dry hair and if you have some heat, protectant use it for sure. I already applied some heat protectant to my hair and i'm actually setting my curls with a clip so that they can last even longer i'm gon na. Do this section, let's see if it's gon na grab it. This is just a little bit uncomfortable having to do it like this. Let me try this one and see if it's gon na work better. I just feel like it's not like it's curling up. You know what i mean: it's not really curling down. It'S like curling up, it's weird when i use it this way, so you see see the curl it's going up. I don't love using it. This way, you see it's going up. Yeah, it's not curling, my hair as good as the other way like this. So we're just going to keep doing it that way. Instead, it gets so hot. It almost feels like the revlon a little bit the revlon one-step, hair, dryer and volumizer. I think it gets that hot. It'S kind of like too much be careful. Don'T use this on wet hair, don't do that. I put it in the heat setting that's a little bit lower, let's see if that feels a little bit better. I love how this grabs your hair very well. I wish it had longer the same. This literally feels like if it's burning, like my hair, i don't know yeah even the hair tool like right here. It feels hot, like i don't know if i would use it on a regular because it just feels like it's getting way too hot. It is curling. Your hair, like super nice, but i don't know if it's worth it if you use this on pretty dry hair like me right now, you should be fine, but if you use this to blot your hair from like pretty wet hair, it's going to get too hot. It'S going to be kind of like the revlon, in my opinion, so yeah. It just feels way too strong, like you, can see the smoke everywhere. I love how they're coming out. They look really really nice. I just feel like the hair tool, that's way too hot, like it almost feels like if it could be a little bit damaging over time. I honestly wouldn't use it on wet hair, even the diffuser attachment i wanted to try it, but i'm kind of scared. It would be on wet hair, and i don't know if it's going to be a little bit damaging. I mean the diffuser is not as damaging because it's just like air all over the place pretty much it's not like very concentrated air. I definitely don't think that it's as good as the dyson air wrap, but this is a good kind of like dupe. If you want just the curls but use it on dry hair, don't use it on wet hair and only leave it on your hair for like max 10 seconds and use heat protectant. So i actually do like the curls. I think they are going to probably last a very long time, so i'm going to add a little bit of this well oil. Now, oh my god. This smells so good. I kind of like to put my hair to the side. Sometimes i might do that since i'm going out, maybe like a more sexy vibe, you already know so i might do like a side part type of thing. So here's the final look.
