I don't know what i've got myself into, because i've never done twists and small in my life, hey curlfriends, welcome back to my channel, it's jazz and i'm going to jump right into this. So if you follow me, i use the sofa line before so. I'Ve already shampooed and deep conditioned and i did put the marshmallow leave-in on right away and i'll be styling with the gel styler. I wanted to see how this line worked with the twist out. So if you've never done a three strand twist, i highly recommend doing this while looking in a mirror for me, i've done it so long. I can get a rhythm without looking in the mirror, but it's it's easier to do it so that you won't start braiding because out of habit with three pieces, you kind of want to braid. It'S more so like wrapping your hair around each like a windmill. In a rotational motion, if that makes sense, so if you've never done this, you got ta look in the mirror. I have another video where i kind of go into a better explanation of how i do the three strand twists and then i'm simply just doing a finger coil at the end. So i'm just popping in here to say really quick. I don't know what i've got myself into, because i've never done twists and small in my life they already so far, so i'm gon na push through so the key to any successful twist out whether you're doing two strand or three strand. It'S to make sure your hair is smooth, so i'm going to show you again here how i'm splitting it into three pieces, and i just start going in a circular motion. It'S a lot easier to do this, while you're looking in the mirror, because in your mind you know what you want to do with your hands, but because you have three pieces you're going to want to braid. So i'm simply just wrapping my hair around each piece. Now i mentioned before about having fine hair. If you're like me, you have fine strands, the section itself looks small, but the twist is going to be even smaller, so it may look like a larger section of hair, but because i have fine strands, the twist itself is smaller than the section of hair. So i kind of thought it was going to be a lot smaller, but i don't want to have micro locks at the end of this, so i did smaller sections than i normally would, but it's still a small twist if that makes sense, so i'm going to Show you guys here one more time with a section up front, so i have the three pieces and i just start across the front and then each piece will just follow and you have to try and pull them and keep your roots tight. So you don't have the puffy roots i did. I did think i had a couple puffy roots in the back, but the back doesn't matter. You want the front to be nice and neat and then because this is the front of my head, the pieces weren't. Even so, once i got past that small piece i kind of blended it and i want to keep each piece even as possible, but sometimes when you get to your edges, it's kind of difficult to do that, so i'm just wrapping it around. I know this is kind of fast, but i've you know, acquired a rhythm just from doing this multiple times, so i'm just going to do a finger coil. I did kind of wet my hair a little bit while i was going through this because my hair started to dry just so i could have that curl at the end. So if your hair is drying out just add a little bit of water, so you can get that nice curl on the end, so it's kind of uniform all the way through. Okay, that's like a lot longer than i expected, but we are done. Take your time. That'S all i'm saying take your time, because if you're going to do them make sure they are nice and neat, so what i'm gon na do is i'm gon na see how these look tomorrow and i might because i might wear these for a day or two To be completely honest because they look they're, nice and neat, but i feel like just because you know i have fine hair um. I don't know how they're gon na look tomorrow, like you, know, they're kind of big, even though i thought these were small. The spaces are kind of big, so i don't know we're gon na see how i feel tomorrow. So i'm tired, i'm hungry this, took way too long. My child was not with it. She just asked me, are you done? Are you done? No? Not yet i'm done now. Are you excited about that? Okay, all right, so i will see y'all tomorrow and we will go from there as if i'm taking it down or not. Okay, we are back and first i wanted to show you guys how i slept so i really i normally don't do bonnets, i'm like completely anti-bonnet, because i feel like they always ruin my styles, but in this case i use an oversized bonnet that hung low enough. So, where my twists are still in there unaffected, you know so, then they still stay nice, because what you don't want is, if you plan on wearing these twists, it's the next day and they're like all crazy, so i was very pleased to see that they stayed Intact with that being said, i'm gon na wear these twists today and probably tomorrow, because i feel like it will give me an opportunity to extend the the length of the hairstyle one and to just leave my hair alone for a second, which is what i'd like To do so, i'm gon na leave these in for two days like today and tomorrow and plus it's like storming outside it's raining. It'S sunday, i'm not going anywhere. So i'm just gon na chill with my twists, but i did want you to see how nice they still looks after sleeping in them overnight. Now i feel like this isn't a style that i could say i might just wear some twists, but it's decent enough for me. If i want to go to the store, if i want to run an errand, i won't look so crazy. It kind of looks like i did it on purpose, but i'm gon na leave these in for two days, and so i think, when i do take them out, the definition is gon na be, let me know what y'all think would you just take them out or Would you wear them for a couple days or wear them all week? So let me know in the comments, your preference, because this is technically a protective style, i'm putting my hair away for a couple days and then i'll take them out. So nice protective style you're using good product you're, locking in moisture because we deep conditioned - and we did our wash day appropriately now - we're locking in that moisture and we're giving our hair a break from unnecessary manipulation, which is the key to any damage. You'Re suffering from and you want to recover this is a great style to do to give your hair a break so yeah, that's what i'm going to do. Let me know if this was helpful for you. Let me know if you are struggling with three strand swiss. If this was a helpful video, i know it was kind of rushed through. So if you have any further questions comment down below, let me know - and i will assist and also comment down in the comments. What you'd like to see next - and i hope you all having a great relaxing sunday - this is a style you could do to get ready for your week and not have to worry about take down in the morning to rush to work or just leave your hair On, like i said so, thanks again for watching thanks for the continued support of my channel, and i will see you all in the next one -

Jas'ColoredCurls: How long do you wear your twists before taking them out??

Kimiko Buford: Hey Jas. This is my go to twist out style that I don’t need a mirror for this. I’m Team Fine Hair.

bominickel: I truly love 3 strand twists and I would leave them in for a few days to achieve maximum definition! ❤️

MsTenacious: I like the twists. I will often wear my hair in twists and add a cute expandable style headband, a cute scarf or a bandana tied in a variety of ways. I also like to wear my twists in a bun on top of my head or on the bottom left or right side (with a flower clip). It just depends on where I’m going and what I’m doing.

D Nez: I love your videos you gave me inspiration to not give up on being Natural My hair its just so dry all the time No breakage but unable to keep moisture locked in

Jus' Sayin: I really like this style. The 3 strand twist came out great. My hair is very fine and my spaces would have been huge and my twists are never that uniform all over. I would so wear this as a style if it was that uniformed on me.

Darnia Taylor: When done neatly, I leave my twists in until they start to feel loose at the scalp. Sometimes I'll mist & retwist them. I'm still working on getting the hang of the 3 strand twist. I can do it on someone else's hair but not my own.

LV7095 LV: The speed at which you do your three strand twist amazing. I have to keep working on 3 strand.

Nikki Gray: It looks nice I would wear it a couple weeks I'm going to try this tomorrow very helpful

Chaowilliams: This was totally me. I totally missed my two strand twists my legit favorite hairstyle when I had locs

T Sande: I leave mine in for a couple of days because it’s NEVER dry . I’d love to see a flat twist out.

Myrna J: I haven't tried this style. Might attempt it.

Dana Hudson: Ur three strands twist look gr8 I would wear all week or possibly 2 weeks.

Anointed Stilettos: The take down is going to look fabulous because the definition is going to be with you leaving it for a couple days. Please show us what it looks like.

D Nez: I wear mines twisted 6 days Twist on Thursday take out the following Wednesday

Jus' Sayin: Do you still have the mo knows hair line? I would like to see those products on a twist out or even a rod set.

Timeka Lewis: I def wear mine for a week then the twist out the next week, by then it’s time for wash day

Nadine D: Hi luv...I struggle with breakage, so today I am trying the Olaplex system. Any tips? I cut ALL my hair off in June...I don't care about starting over. I love a short cut..lol

Mik tweet: Are we gonna see the finished product.... the take down??

Reise Piece: It’s cute but it needs some adornments

LADY T#GODISMYKEEPER: There nice
