When we are talking about finehair, we are talking about the kind of hair that needs to be infused with volume from the wet stage if you want any hopes of it looking full. Hairstyles that require a blow out can be challenging for girls with short, medium and long haircuts and for women with curly, frizzy or fine hair. Holding a blowdryer in one hand and a round brush in the other when styling is not for the faint of heart. Today I am going to do a blowout tutorial and Tymo Volumizer review to show you tricks on exactly how to achieve a great salon quality blowdry at home.

If i could only have one hair tool for the rest of my life, this would be it, and this is not click bait. If i was stuck on a deserted island with an outlet, a great bikini and an outlet, obviously - and maybe some heat protecting cream - and i could only have one hair tool for the rest of my entire life - it would be a blowout brush. I have been on youtube for three years, and i've talked about this in like every single styling video. In fact, it was my first video that i ever made. The first video i ever made was about a blowout brush, i'm sorry for the repetition, but i'm actually not sorry, because it's life-changing so i'm happy for you that you've discovered it through me because we're hashtag, hair, besties, okay. This is why i would pick a blowout brush. Let'S talk a lot of people, including myself, have hair that air dries like this very frizzy. If i diffuse it and do all the curly hair things, it looks like this, but truthfully it doesn't last that many days takes quite a bit of time to do with all the flipping and the diffusing and looks really really bad. When i sleep on it. So what do we do as fine frizzy curly haired girls? We straighten it because if we straighten it, we can wear it like that for more days in a row before needing to wash it again, it's just a little bit more convenient, but when we straighten it, if we have fine hair, our hair gets as flat as A pancake i mean it's a whole posh spice vibe, but i'm just not really that into it. I, like big hair, i'm a big hair girl and if you watch me, you probably are too so we need to blow it out, but holding a round brush and holding a blow. Dryer is really really hard, even for me, and i'm a hair stylist that specializes in event styling. I literally do this all day every day, and i still can't really even do it on myself that well enter timel volumizer. What time of volumizer is it's the baby of the blow dryer daddy and the round brush mommy she's got the beautiful mama bristles and the daddy heat the daddy heat, oh god, i can't even believe. I just said that i'm going to show you how it works right now and give you a few user tips. So what you want to do is let your hair air dry a little bit so it's damp, but not soaked. You will get more shine and less damage. If your hair is not soaking wet, then you apply a heat protectant and any other volume or smoothing products. You want brush it through and away you go. You want to section your hair in horizontal subsections. Moving up the head thoroughly drying section by section by rotating the brush around with your hand, what the bristles combined with the heat does is: it closes the cuticle layer, leaving your hair. Looking super duper shiny and completely smooth. It'S a mei zing. This tool is amazing. You get volume shine and smoothness and one tool plus you're drying your hair, which means you're skipping a really time consuming step. It'S a one step. Styler, that's going to leave you with a gorgeous gorgeous shiny end result before we keep going. I know what you're going to say this is so damaging for fine hair. I have read that comment a dozen times on this channel, because the revlon one that came out was super duper, duper hot and there were reports of it damaging a lot of people's hair, especially people with fine hair. So the great thing about this one is that it actually has multiple temperature and speed controls. First style here is cool air fast speed. So if you don't need a ton of curl or frizz control and your hair is fine stay at this setting, then you have low speed, high heat and finally high heat and high speed. Now i personally use high heat and high speed on my entire head, with the exception of my sides, because that's where i have alopecia and i had my hair transplant and also the very top fringe area in both of those areas. I usually go to high speed and low heat. The hair around my face and obviously in my transplanted area, is super delicate, so it breaks easily. So i need to take precautions to minimize the chance of that happening, and it's great that thymol has that option that several other blow dryer brushes do not have now. The reason that you get this insane high shine result is because the barrel is a titanium plate. Titanium plates are really really good for reducing frizz and static and creating a smooth and shiny salon. Like finish, this will completely replace your need to get a salon blowout, i'm not kidding, i'm not even exaggerating you guys if you move section by section along the head, drawing each subsection thoroughly so make sure no subsection is left damp dry. It all the way through. You will get the most beautiful blowout of your life. You can completely replace salon blow dries. If you have this tool now, how do we get loads of volume with this tool? I'M going to show you two different ways. The first thing you can do is blow dry, the entire section that you're working on with high heat and then switch it over to the low heat setting cool air sets hair. So if you want your hair to stay a certain way, you need to cool it down to set it because hair that is hot is too malleable, so gravity will just push it right down immediately. There is another way to do that and that is with velcro rollers. I did an entire video on that and if you want loads of tips and tricks on how to use velcro rollers head on over to that video next, but with that said, though, a lot of my viewers also told me that they don't like velcro rollers, because It can pull their hair out and this is a genuine concern for certain hair types, especially fine, but high density hair. So those people with a lot of fine hair, velcro rollers, for whatever reason on those people, tend to snag their hair. So there is another way to get a ton of volume without using velcro rollers, and this is how you can buy these pin clips online and they can be an excellent tool for holding the position of the hair. While it's cooling, i suggest doing a mohawk placement and the way that you do, that is just by blow drying the entire top section backwards without a part and clipping it there to cool. Then, if you want to be a little extra like me, maybe you have a little bit of extra time. You can also take your side sections and blow them away from the face and then clip them there as well to cool. You can give that about five minutes, maybe 10 minutes just until the hair cools down, and then you can release it. This will give you an absolutely insane amount of volume without the whole velcro roller drama. I know a lot of you guys you're just not into the velcro roller life, so you can do this instead and there you go. If you take small sections at a time, make sure it's completely dry before moving on to the next section because of the titanium plates and the bristles, there will be a visible improvement in your hair quality. You will look like you: have the shiniest and most beautiful hair ever if you happen to do this before curling or waving your hair, which is what i always always do. I never style my hair without blowing it out first, unless i'm obviously styling it naturally curly. If i am waving it, if i am curling it, i always always use the blowout brush first, what this will do is ensure that your curls and your waves look flawless. They look like salon, quality, curls and waves. This is by far the most important tool in my hair kit, so check the description box head on over. There take a look at it, and maybe it's the tool that you are missing in your life that will yield really great hair results for you. If you want to learn about another time of tool that can curl straighten and set your hair check out this video next i'll see you guys next week, bye

Glam Girl Gabi: Thank you for watching my hair besties! This is BY FAR the number 1 hair tool in my kit and if you haven't tried it yet, I think you would be shocked to see how gorgeous it makes your hair look. Until August 19, I have a 60% OFF Discount Code for you: GABI The link to the website is here: https://shrsl.com/3nk7x If you like this video, check out this one next: Why I NEVER Use My Curling Iron Anymore (and maybe you shouldn't either...) https://youtu.be/3aGX8UfEGlQ

Rejeanor Scott: Hi Gabi, thank you for your recommendations, can you recommend heat protection and volumizing products for thin hair?

Diane Merpaw: Hi Gabi, just wanted to say "thank you!". Your videos and hair tips have changed my hair routine for the better. I also have fine hair and have struggled. I bought the Amika hair dryer and the velcro rollers. Love them ! Next amazon order will be the hair clips. You are the best!

Debbie Bifolck: I have the Hot Tools version of the dryer. They look very similar except the Tymo one is cheaper! There was a learning curve to using this but once I worked with it this is all I use. I no longer use my iron. I also bought the velcro rollers (which i loved) but started to see some breakage of my hair primarily where my part is so I stopped using them. I like the idea of using the clips. Thanks!

Music Lover: We are hair twins. I have learned more from you than any other how to make my hair look its best. I have been wary about these tools due to the damage warnings so really appreciate you addressed these issues. The size is a little intimidating but I am sure I will adjust. Just added this dryer to my cart. Thank You!

La Stefita: I have a suggestion for sleeping with curly hair. Recently, I tried putting my hair in a high ponytail before bed so that it looks like a pineapple once you’ve done the pony tail (and my hair is maybe two inches longer than yours). I find it helps to not mess up the hair as much I’ve also seen Manes by Mell (another Canadian youtuber), who specializes in curly hair, put her hair in a silk bonnet for the night, and that also helps

princessnav: Honestly, I am too afraid from all of the hair loss horror stories surrounding blow dry brushes. I would rather use something like the Dyson air wrap. I do think there is value in spending a little bit more time during the styling to maintain the health of the hair in the long run.

Anna A: I have a similar one from another brand and I'm loving it. I'm super clumsy when it comes to blow drying and this tool helped me a lot.

Eu tenho o Dyson Airwrap e gosto bastante. Vale a pena comprar o Tymo tbm?

Kimberly Magleby: Gabi! Thank you! I have wanted one forever but they are so expensive. Your discount code took off almost $42!!! Just bought one! Love your content!

Lucille M: Hi ‍♀️ Gabi, I’m going to purchase this. I have a heat protectant but wonder which one you recommend for fine thin frizzy damaged hair? Your hair looks so gorgeous. Thx for everything and I hope you have a great weekend.

Zenyatta: Ooooh! I am definitely going to snag this! For several years I've used a similar Conair blow-brush because it has multiple heat/speed settings and a cool setting, and it's very gentle heat, but it does not have the titanium barrel. I recently tried a T3 model recommended by another influencer, but didn't really care for it - the brush heads are plastic, the handle is very wide so made it hard to grip, and the buttons are right where you want to put your hands (so I was constantly changing heat/speed on accident). Thanks so much for the excellent tips and recommendations - you've changed my fine hair game for the better :)

M D: Hi Gabi, I've tried the Revlon one-step volumizer and it makes my hair frizzier than naturally drying. Am I doing it wrong or is there hope for me with a different brand?

mary brown: Thank you!!! I’ve been holding out on getting one! This is apparently what I’ve been waiting for. Pulled the trigger with your code and it’s my birthday present to myself

Tracy Baum: This was a very timely post. I have the Revlon 2.0 and it is too hot for my fine, thinning hair. Your promo code brought the price down to an unbelievable $28! Girlfriend, this was awesome! Thanks for all your great advice for us fine hair girls.

Janet Roberts: I really like my volume hair brush! I have lots of find hair, it holds much water, so after blotting, and two hair towels, the blow dryer brush ( it's nice oval size) make me look fabulous!

Lorie DiBattista: Penny Smith recommend you in one of her videos. I’m so glad she did. I’m 57 with fine gray hair that I love but getting volume is always a challenge. I love big hair too! I ordered this brush. Keep your fingers crossed for me

Ashley C: I have been wanting to get one of these types of dryers. Thank you for the discount code!

Julia Xie: Totally agree!! That’s so cool, I love this product! Amazing result! Thanks for your recommendation!

William Charles: Love the pin curl set, I do it all the time at work. Velcros can be a pain in the butt, lol!

Tamara Morton: I’ve just discovered you and I’m so excited, for several reasons. You’re the first dark brunette person I’ve seen online who has blondish highlights but also black/dk brown eyebrows. I color my own hair and this is the look I want but I’ve been too chicken to try it out on my own! I have a feeling I can learn a lot of other things from you so thanks in advance!

Kim J: I just found you the other day, yay! Thank you for a crazy good discount! I rarely do anything to my fine straight hair, I have to wear a hairnet all day at work so why bother lol. My hair is very healthy since I don't use heat on it except for maybe 2- 3 times a month, I was concerned about damage but after watching your video I am definitely going to purchase this! Thanks again!

Natalia Jones: Yay that is such helpful I did get a version of this brush, love it!! thanks for the tips ❤️

Ginger Toste: Hi Gabi, I love your hair cut! If I were to use your photo to take to my haircut girl, how would you describe your cut? I have the revlon blow dry brush and it does seem to dry out my hair so I might try this one, I have thickish hair that has changed in texture since I’ve gotten a lot of grey which I color

June Pagano: I have the Revlon brand and it makes my hair sooo dry it looks like straw! I do love the idea of the quick blow out as it is such a time saver and my arms don’t get tired before my hair is dry. Is this particular brand better, it is expensive but I would gladly purchase it if I knew it was not going to crisp my hair. Also I do use a heat protection but it’s no help. Am I the only one with this issue?

Melissa D: I adore mine, and agree completely--can't live without this tool!!

New England Coast: What a GREAT deal. This will be great for my hair! If I want my stylist to cut my hair like yours, what do I tell her? Thanks for the great deal! ❤❤

Antoniette Musolino: Omg what an amazing tool , Gabi the end result is stunning, looks like you don't need the hair straightener either ,

A: You’re the best Youtuber I’ve ever watched about hair. Realistic advices, instant subscribe

Rubi Potter: Gaby, how long have you had this tool? I’m reading the review online and even most people loved it, a good amount said it broke after a few months.

Beata Kaminski: Hi Gabi, thank you for all the advice you are sharing. I hope you can help with the alternatives to the tool you are recommending as the one you mention is unavailable in Europe.

63LindaLou: I just ordered this - thank goodness for the 60% discount because shipping is $44 to Canada! I have the Revlon one but rarely use it because the highest setting is way too hot and the lower setting takes forever to dry. This product sounds perfect!

Alicja M: I bought, tried, and returned the revlon brush because it burned my hair! Since then I've gone back to my blow dryer and rou d brush and I'm really good at giving myself a blowout ...now you've got me thinking tho....lol!

Heidi Cook: GABI, how long have you been using it? I notice there are a lot of reviews of the dryer saying that it stopped working within months. I’m reluctant to purchase it based on that.

Lynn Schmeeckle: Thank you for this video. I just ordered one. I have tried the Revlon but felt it was too hot for my fine hair.

MrsDisney: Your highlights are perfection. It’s what I have always wanted but no one ever does them right. So jealous!

Corrina Z: I'm going to give this a try. I'm 42 and have been flat ironing my hair for years. I would go days leaving it curly buts it's a hot mess. I'm now having to give myself a break more because I've noticed more fall out. I'm trying some hair regrowth products & dietary changes. But also looking for alternatives to straightening my hair on occasion. Thanks!

Corrina French: I bought the Revlon blow out brush and used it for the first time this week..all I can say is WOW! Love it and highly recommend it!!

Christine Vick: DITTO. Absolutely the best tool ever invented for coarse, wavy hair too

Suzanne Coppola: Love this video! Also can you share your blush shade/brand? It’s beautiful!

Diane Davis: Love your channel ❤️ so good advice

Berbersissi: Thank you for your video. What about heat damage with the Tymo brush ? I am a bit concerned about this.

Curious Cat: Tfs I can relate, I have thick curly frizzie hair, I discovered a dryer brush a few months ago.....I will never ever go without it again. I use the no name brand, it blows and never cuts out. Only bummer is the cord is not a 360. My hair is straight as an arrow and shine like a mirror too. I would love to try this brand though....unfortunately not available in South Africa yet.

Nancy Lyon-Gray: Oh girl! You are so beautiful and your hair is so thick. I love how kind you are. You are one of besties on YouTube!!!

TwigLovesMakeup: Hi Gabi! I just ordered this blow out brush. I'm currently using the Revlon one, and it gets too hot and does nothing for the shine. I'm hoping this is a game changer for me! BTW, I LOVE your hairstyle and it is how I want mine to be eventually. I'm growing out my bob that I've had forever. I'm just tired of it. Yours is full, shiny, and looks to be very versatile when styling! I don't know how to describe what I want to my stylist. Suggestions? TIA!

Rachel Teeuws: I find these brushes don’t get down to the root deep enough and you can be left with frizz. How do you combat that?

Amy Schulte: I have the Revlon but also a Calista. I’m gonna bring that one out and see how it works.

Kathy Lawrence: Does the Tymo work just as well for thin fine naturally straight hair?

Laura Alt: Thank you I will be using the discount code I have fine curly hair like you but a lot of it

Vini Mendes Game: Eu não sei uma palavra em inglês. Mas aprecio as dicas que você dar. Parabéns

Denise Fitzgerald: I love your videos. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my hot tools gold blowout brush. Best hair tool EVER. Game changer for my hair.

Paula B: Gabi, thanks for the promo code. I totally appreciate the discount however the $44 shipping to Canada is prohibitive. Sadly, it made me not purchase.

Pandora victoria: I have fine stick straight hair and was in love with the revlon untill it destroyed my hair beyond repair that accompanied by color and highlights it was a frizzy, dry broken mess I switched to the dyson airwrap and had the same results im honestly not a fan. I just chopped several inches off my hair its up to my chin and omg so much healthier now and im so tempted to try a blow dry brush again because the results were amazing like no other but im so scared lol I am seriously considering trying this one. Thank you.

Kami M: Please add your styling serums and creams, especially what you use to make your hair so shiny. Thank you!

pagerus: I have the Revlon and love it and I always use the low heat setting which is not as hot. It also has cold settings on it. So I’m not understanding why this one is different or better? The only downside is the Revlon is big and can get heavy. Is this one big and as heavy?

DNeese The Runner: That’s what I use…. Have for many years…love it too!!

solitaire starr: It seems this product is only available in 110Volt 60hz, and is therefore not available to anyone outside US and Canada. I was disappointed! It also has a very high wattage, so if you were to buy a 230V to 110V step down transformer to use with it the transformer may be expensive (many times the cost of the Tymo). Is there a "second best" product recommendation available to the rest of the world?

Daniella Armijo: Can this be used on curly hair?

J I: They have plastic rollers without the Velcro and you can use the clips to hold them in place :)

H H: What about thick, coarse frizzy hair? will this work on that?

Irai Rod: I used your code and purchased 2 of them for half than the price of 1 Revlon! I'll keep one and gift the other to my nieces. Thank you!

Julie MacDonald: You're so beautiful! You show us how you can have thin hair and still look fabulous

meekandmildjan: Thanks for all your great content!!! Your hair color is beautiful!!! Can you tell me how you get it???

miss kitty: They said your code wasn't valid. How come? Also, on Amazon lots of bad reviews about it not lasting even a couple months. Have you had any trouble like that?

Dolsie Mercado: YES, the brush dryer ( blowout brush ) is it. Pin Clips okay.

Yona Madonna: I just ordered this….so excited

M N: Would a blow brush work on long hair or Would it get tangled in brush?

Angela Gregory: Do you have any thoughts on the Hot Tools brand blower brush ?

Sanja Djordjevic: Thanks for the video . What do you think about Revlon hair volumizer (it has two types of barrels)....any comparion? Thanks! ❤️

Victoria Valentine: Just love you girl!❤️

Eva Stra: Isn't it damaging for the hair? I follow some hairstylists that say that because it is blowing in all directions, it's not closing the cuticule - that is the difference between this and normal brush and blow dryer. So this argument is not true?

arnellz: Love this tool.. but bruh!! Any long hair person can relate to me? I get tied up in this brush! Rolling and rollin and my hair gets stuck! My hair is downn to my butt! Any suggestions would be appreciated

Natalie Diaz-Ruiz: That lip color is gorgeous!!! Can you please share the shade color?

MsChenandlerBong: Can someone PLEASE advise on a straightening cream? Under $20.

Anna Bardon: Thank you Gabe! You are the best!

Lori gruber: I love this tool to I have it also. I have thin hair and wear it short and spikey. I can't seem to find another style for my hair any suggestions? I don't like it long

Ivette Solano: Does this really have hard bristles? (not the soft ones like the revlon's)

kyby5179: Gabi, forgive me for saying this but I haven’t seen your videos in a while but OMG your hair looks so fabulous! It’s my hair color envy right now. I don’t know what you did with it or maybe nothing but I feel like this hair color, your makeup, color of clothing it’s just the perfect “I barely tried, but I look so good”

Lady Shalom: Reviews on amazon say it is great but doesnt last

reipus: Blonde to brown tips please xoxo

icelily2010: Yes love this brush

Turra Gorman: I bought one and my hair is shiny but flat.

VLOGMOMENTS SAVITA: Wow ...i am first time here ...& your tips were so good .. thnx

Sol: On Amazon it’s only $30 folks!!!!

PS Mauney: Sorry, not sorry…. LOL. Right there with you! Thanks for another great video!

Art Class with De Anna: I just do whatever you say to do. ❤️

Janet Perrenod: Hello there: I have fine hair too, and I like your hairdo. May I ask you what is your haircut called? Thank you, Jan

Lochan: "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.  Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone NOT FOUND written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (REVELATION 20:12-15 NKJV) Today, while you are still alive and able, may you repent from your sins, believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your Lord and Savior, so that through Him, your name will be written in the Book of Life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him  should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (JOHN 3:16-17 NKJV) By God's GRACE, the gift of Salvation and Eternal Life is available to all. You can RECEIVE it. You can REJECT it. May you choose wisely.

A.martinha Martins: What colors you have in you hair? Is very beautiful

Gerri McGrath: Greatest gadget ever!!!!!!!

All The Things With Mandy and Whitney: Do the pins leave indentions?

Tania Samra: i wonder if you can tell us about the hair color and your base it is very pretty

Carrie Baldwin: Hi Gabi love your hair color can you tell me what's your color called?

Alison Eichler: What happened to your love affair with the TYMO 2 in 1 tool?

Kathleen H.: Hi Gabi, Important question- is it worth it to buy a Dyson? I don't want to splurge all that cash if it isn't really worth it. I have the same hair as you btw. xo

Lisa Davies: Noooo it wont deliver to me tried amazon uk no luck x

Theresa Hernandez: What color lip are you wearing in this video? Do some makeup videos.

sunlightwomen: I saw it on sale and actually wanted to buy it but I didn't know if it was good and now the sale is over.... shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhiiii...

Sally Loosli: WTHeck. I bought the Revlon one at your suggestion.. damages hair??? Did I hear that wrong?

Carrie Baldwin: Where did you get that necklace?
