Hi guys welcome to guru beauty, and this is joni really lovely - to see you guys again, just a quick video today to let you know about a hair styling dupe. I posted in a recent haul, probably from the last couple of months ago, that I did by the Swartz Schwarzkopf osis plus dusted powder, and this is a great volumizing powder that you sort of sprinkle in your hair. You can do it instead of teasing more before teasing, and it really helps to hold the hair. It'S really fine I'll, just show it to you on my hand. Hopefully in frame you can see you just sort of tap it. It'S a really fine paddle, like yeah, really finely milled powder and the texture is like. It just makes it sort of rubbery. If you never use like TG Bed Head. What'S it called in the orange, can the wax I've just heard Rockstar wax. I think that's what it's called sort of a similar texture to that it just prevents your hair from slipping once. You'Ve got some volume in it, so you apply it at the roots. I'Ll give you a demo of that in a minute, but someone had asked me on that video. How much I paid for it, and I couldn't remember. I think I posted that I thought. Maybe it was about ten dollars, but I have since been back to price. It has to price that out and when I did haul this a couple of months ago, it turns out that I paid about twenty six. Ninety five for this hair powder and I bought it on the recommendation of the sales assistant. I was looking for some kind of powder. I saw s-walker makeup post about a vo5 product which I haven't found in Australia yet, but I'm really enjoyed using this twenty six. Ninety five thirty is steep to me for any hair styling product given in Australia for me, but I have found the exact same product exact same product made by the same company for a lot less, and I found it in price one: the magic wonders of marketing. It'S amazing, isn't it so a good price line, and I I'm always looking for powders, because I think this is a really unique sort of product that is fairly new to the market and I'm curious about who's. Releasing one and who's not so in Priceline, just sort of looking around what was in the hairstyling section - and I saw this - it's the Schwarzkopf Taft full-on styling revolution, styling powder and it's obviously from the packaging marketed towards men, says it's texturizing and mattifying styling powder. It'S called the rough and tough starting powder. This is 695 a price one, so I was really curious about it. I can't remember if I pulled it out of the box to have a look at it there and then or if I bought it and brought it home. But I will tell you both are made by the exact same company, so OSes plus is Schwarzkopf professional and that by the way, is I'm not sure where it's made. But this rough and tough styling powder is swartz, cough professional quality, the Taft brand. So I'm going to assume that they're coming out of the same factory when you hold the next to each other, so I'm looking at their ingredients. They both have aqua first silica, silly late, silly late. Second, sodium benzoate. I don't know if I'm saying is right, but octal acrylamide, acrylate butyl a butyl em. I know Ethel anyway, I'm not even gon na go on within with its ingredients, but exactly the same from start to finish from the product that they said most of the last product, citric acid being the last product. Exactly the same, when I put them in my hair exactly the same so you're getting $ 20 extra here by using a song, you know it's what's called professional versus the Swartz cup. You know drugstore brand of of Taft exactly the same product, so I'm just going to give you a little demonstration once I finish the oh -- this plus, I won't be buying that again. I love this just as much as I love the odors dust up dust. It and I don't care if there's a man on my packaging or not matter of fact, that's a little nice bonus extra. I don't remember seeing a cute little cute young guy on my package Plus. So if anything, there's a bonus there with the drugstore one. So just a quick demo for you how I would use it if I wanted to put volume here in my hair I'll just get my you know, styling tool, I'm gon na make a part in my hair, where I want to put that volume and I'm just Going to one handedly, take the lid off really fine. Hopefully I'm in frame really fine, just tap it in, and it is why, but it actually disappears. So you can sort of rub it in it's. Just the most unique someone's described it as sticky or tacky. It'S the most unique texture. I love it. I just love it washes out easily. I still do follow it up with a bit of a tease and what I find that it does is it helps the tease from dropping out fast, my hair, so fine and straight that it just slips. It slips out all the time and just having that powder in there, you can see, can just boost it up throughout the day. So if you notice that you're losing your volume and it takes longer to lose that volume, as I say when you've got that product in, but you can also just boost it really easily with your fingers like that and you're done you're good to go for another. You know, however, long so anyway, guys if you have any other products, that sort of do a similar thing that you really like miss ten go to I'm still looking for that big sexy hair volumizing product for the roots, I'm having trouble finding all these felons and Places have never heard of it who makes it. I said it's just big sexy hair, it's a line, they make their own products. The brand is like big sexy hair. I think it's made by be sexy or something like that anyway, I'm still looking for it. The hunt continues, but if any of you have any styling cars that do something similar I'd be really interested in hearing about it or if you have anything else to comment on. destineeher23: Hi jodi love ur makeup...i can tell u r playing with all them hauls from the US..lol...i just went to a beauty supply called Trade Secret.Idk if u have one out there,But the brands name is SEXY HAIR,and the product is Big Sexy Hair,it actually is like a mousse..you put it on you finger tips,of course part ur hair,and apply into the sections you want volume,i did not purchase becuz u need to use a blowdryer..in summer i don't use it,so i got sexy hair powder play,its nice,basically wat u have.
