No Heat Curls! | Sleep Styler Demo | Overnight Styling | Thin Hair Hacks |

Hi guys welcome back to my channel. I wanted to do a review on the sleep styler. The sleep star was featured on Shark Tank and basically features foam curlers that don't need any heat. You basically put them in your hair, they're water absorbent, so they're intended to go on damp hair is you guys can see? I just got out of the shower, so this is what they look like they're, just like foam rollers, and they have this super absorbent. It'S almost like it's, I think it's like a microfiber. It feels really soft just, but it kind of feels super soft and it's got like a string that wraps around it and velcro's at the bottom. So I'm going to be showing you how I put these in my hair and then I will be going to sleep tonight and then in the morning I'll start filming again and show you what my curls look like when I get up in the morning. This is a really easy way for me to put some body and volume in my hair without adding heat, as you all know from my previous videos, I already have such like fine over-processed over treated hair, so I don't want to put too much heat on it. I'M actually trying to grow it out. The first thing I will do is take my brush just using any regular brush, and I'm just going to take a section I take like a decent section. I don't have tons and tons and tons of hair. So this is actually fine for me to take a section like this and then I'll take my curler and I'll hold it. As you can see, there's I'm gon na open it and show you what the inside is. It'S like a foam, it's made of foam and the blue part on the outside is the shell and it can actually be removed and washed. So I haven't washed them yet. I only used um, probably like less than a dozen times, so I'm probably due to wash them soon, but I always put them on clean hair and they don't smell or anything. So I don't really have any to wash them, so I'm gon na put them in my hair. I'M just gon na hold it like this, and then I will take my hair and wrap it up and you're just going to whoops a little piece just keep wrapping around my hair is pretty long, so I need to wrap it like several times. Then you're gon na just want to take this string, I'm not sure if it's called a string, but I'm calling it a string and you're really just going to want to do that. I know that looks ridiculous, but, and it looks even more ridiculous when they're all over your head, but the good part is these: are so soft they're like pillows, so when you sleep on them at night, they're, really not that uncomfortable. So I'm going to take another section of my hair, some of them, I put it my hair and I wrap over, but the ones in front I like to wrap under. I don't think it really matters, it might matter. To be honest with you, these common eights comes in a cute little like clear zipper bag like this, and there comes eight in a in a college eyes guys if I'm not being super consistent and each one looks different. I'M not really sure. If I'm doing the same exact process for every girl, this is just, I think you develop your own style when you're doing it yourself again, you will develop your own style, because this is not super easy to do when you're just learning how to do it, but You will you'll figure it out. I use my math if I don't have any hands cuz they're velcro. I know some people are probably like you, but do what you got to do so. Take your string, wrap it all the way around it's twisted. I don't care all right guys, so I'm gon na sleep like this. I look ridiculous. I know but wait till you wake up in the morning my curls are going to be they're gon na be nice and you're gon na see. I'M gon na turn around really quick to show you what it looks like in the back this one's falling. If that happens, just take it out. This is actually good cuz. You get to see what it looks like. I'M gon na put it on this way, but basically just take your hair. Put it underneath wrap your hair around and if you feel like it's not close to your root, you can turn it. This is one of the things I didn't get to show you a minute ago, so you take your straight done: okay, okay, guys! I am going to beep. I'M gon na take these ridiculous things out of my hair and show you the end result so gon na unwrap the string and why eying we're gon na do this is the curl. I love how shiny and soft my hair is not bad hair. It'S just normally kind of out of control and frizzy, so look no heat whatsoever and then what I'm gon na do and just because I'm I don't leave it like this. Is I actually like to go through it and I either finger comb with my fingers or sometimes I just kind of like go in and separate them a little so guys, I'm gon na go do my makeup and I will be right back screaming baby on the Loose also got ta go for that BRB hi guys welcome back. This is the final result of my curls that I put in last night. I know I looked a little ridiculous, but those of you who've, seen my previous videos and who know me in person, know that my hair is like really limp and flat, just because all of like the keratin treatments and everything that I've done to it over the Years so I'm trying to grow all that out at the moment, but, as you can see, these curlers did add a bit of life to my hair without adding any heat. So I have no idea how I'm gon na style it today. I just kind of like throw it to one side and when I get tired of that side, I throw it to the other side, I kind of flop it around all day, long back and forth. So this is the final result and I'm just gon na kind of just like adjust it look at this. What'S that one piece, but as you can see full body curls, I mean these are full for me at least they're, probably not full to some people who are born with naturally fluffy hair, alright. So this is the look I came up with if you guys, like the curlers idea, I'm definitely going to link it down below, so you can just check it out for yourself. I think at this point they do sell them at like CVS and probably Walmart. I don't use them that often, but I really love them and I probably shouldn't use them more often. So I'm going to finish my delicious cold coffee, I drink my coffee cold every morning, not intentionally it's just how my life is.
