I Cut My Own Hair. Video Of Me Ruining My Hair For 23 Minutes.

Guys, I think I'm going to attempt to cut my hair um, I'm in the bathroom right now and I'm having shoulder surgery. Oh I'm having shoulder surgery in about 10 days, and I know that when I had surgery um, you can't like lift your arm and like put your hair up and brush it and all that stuff, and so my hair has a natural wave in it. So it can get pretty tangly and I'm just kind of nervous about leaving all that work for my husband um, because he is going to be traveling out of town after my surgery, so um, I'm not gon na have like a lot of help to um. Do things, and so I'm thinking I need to cut my hair I don't really want to, but they say that your shoulder surgery usually takes about six months to need to bite the bullet and just cut the hair um. I did have my hair cut off um. Two years ago, so it only takes a couple years for it to grow out um, but in an Ideal World I probably wouldn't be cutting my hair, but at the same time I know I I need to do what I've got to do, because this hair gets Just um, if it's not taken care of it, can become really difficult and a lot to manage and a lot to handle. So I am going to brush it out and then I'm gon na try to cut it. I usually when I do it myself. My hair is usually shorter. I'Ve never cut my hair this long, I'm really nervous about getting it. Even so. Here'S my thought, yeah. I need a comb because they said you should like part it in the middle or, if you do it on the side, but in the back it needs to be down in the middle and then you need to like Pony it off and then cut it. If it's not even I'm gon na have to go, get it fixed. What do you think should I just leave it alone? I could just leave it alone, but then I might have to pay to get it cut. If I can't take care of it did I do it even wow yeah? I don't want to leave this for myself to deal with. Oh my. I think I have to do it. That'S just too much to deal with. Okay, I'm gon na create two ponies on each side. Foreign. How short do I want to go you're supposed to do that? I don't know how short are we gon na go? Ah, my hair is everywhere foreign. Don'T let me fool you. I have no idea what I'm doing foreign get all the hair. This one feels a little. This feels like I could come down a little bit, because this one feels longer still feels a little stronger and then I just cut. Do I want to cut my hair? No, but do I need to cut my hair, I don't know maybe who's gon na help me. I'M not gon na have a shoulder. It'S gon na be a mess. It'S everywhere. Are you doing the right thing? Should I go to a professional? That'S a lot of hair when in doubt, probably don't do it I'll just do it got my kitchen scissors. I can't see huh it's one side, I'm gon na be sick. I just made myself really nauseous foreign, oh my goodness. Well, that's not even um. So obviously, it's not going to be straight, but whatever oh, it's not the worst dance ever happened to me, oh my goodness, okay and then what I want to do. I think I probably need to clean it up. First, that's so thick and gross ew. Oh look! How uneven that is, ah, it's so thick and gross Rose. Who did that I'm so uneven? I I don't know how to fix it. It'S too short to fix. I don't know what to do. Do I care that much? No, oh, wait. Let'S put some layers. Oh, maybe I should have wet my hair. I don't know who knows okay, so all right, I was gon na I'm gon na do like a horseshoe um, okay where's, my if you were doing a horseshoe. Is that like a horseshoe, look, how even it is wow? That'S such a great job, sarcasmine is best, can't see. Oh, we can miss some. Are you doing a horseshoe? Yet? Is there a horseshoe or is it just super uneven? Okay, I can't um. It might help to have my glasses on it might help a lot. Okay, did I go far enough. I look like Lord Farquaad oops, pulling hair off the counter that wasn't straight. I wonder what that did. Ah, this hair, I can't see a thing: cutting your hair without your glasses. Oh, it should have went shorter huh. If you're gon na go, you got ta go for it. Oh man, somebody's really got ta fix my hair. I can't even I can't see what's going on back there did that even layer anything did it do a thing. Maybe it just cut my bangs huh. I don't know what it did. How do I fix this so gross back here I didn't realize my hair was so thick. I need to cut all that off. You know: okay um, I'm wondering if I should let my oh can I put it in a ponytail, that's important yeah. I got plenty of room for ponytail. Should I let my husband try to help me or should I just keep cutting away? I say we just keep cutting away. Okay, Lord Farquaad, you can just oh her hair is on ASD. I wish I could see the back. Is there a way to? Can you pull it up front and cut it? Is that even a thing? Can I cut it? I don't know what I'm doing. Oh dear. I think it's just so long back here. You see what I'm should I go in like this. Oh, not really sure what it did, but oh man, this is going to be so uneven. Maybe I should just go. Get a trim, I don't want to pay the money yeah, but do you want messed up hair for years? You know you never cut your hair like over and over again, if ow ow. What, if I pulled it up again into a ponytail, let me half it make sure it's straight okay I need to is it did? Am I supposed to pull it in the front or in the back good question foreign? Why does this feel so different from the other one? Ah, I have no idea anyway. Trash can I'm able to do this over the sink? Okay, you see that like boop boop, I'm wondering if I need to cut to that. First Boop. I wonder if that did anything can't tell all right? Oh okay, I can still tell like ends up with no hair in your head. All right, I can't see how am I supposed to cut? Aren'T you supposed to cut up, I don't know, let me see what this looks like. I haven't even thought about making it even with the other side. Yet, oh, do you see that it's so gross? What am I supposed to do to get rid of that? Okay, I'm gon na turn around and let you guys see how awful it looks in the back all right now, I'm going to look at that clip myself, okay! Well, the clip didn't tell me a whole lot um. I don't know what to do, because I can't see back there ow my arm huh. Maybe my husband can tell me if there's like a big chunk or something that I'm missing. If not, I guess I don't really care, I didn't expect it to stay thick. I mean I when it was long, I didn't think it was thick now, it's feeling a little thick now, I'm like, should I put some layers in there foreign do. I know how to do. Lasers answer is absolutely ow. Absolutely, ah, absolutely not don't know how to do. Layers might already have some anyway, just because I cut it right. I know it's definitely shorter around the front than it is in the back, and I honestly meant it to be the opposite. I like it long in the front shorter in the back, but okay, I really don't know what to do from here. Ah so, let's wash and style it okay. So here we go fresh out of the shower. I felt like I couldn't get a real with the natural wave I just I am I felt like I couldn't get a good grasp on it, so this is what it looks like what and I'm gon na dry it and straighten it, because I feel like that's Going to give me the best visual on what's really happening, oh okay, so this is just with it Blow blown out, I'm just trying to cut my hair. So I didn't have so many tangles, but that's what it is um in the front to me. I can see how the front is shorter than the back, but that's probably the angle that I cut it at I'm, going to turn around um foreign, and hopefully you can see back if it's super uneven. That'S just me, looking straight normal, it's still wet back there. I guess I didn't dry it all the way. Okay, now I'm going to straighten it to get try to get a really good look at it. Now that I've washed it and dried it. I am kind of leaning toward. I might not have to get it professionally. Fixed um, let's take another look at the back, because I straightened it try to get The Little Wave out of it. I don't know in the front I feel like it looks fine yeah there's an angle. That'S off, but in all honesty, would I walk around like this in public yeah and not even think twice honestly. I just guess. I don't care that much. Let me check and see what it looked like in the back. Okay, I can see that there's a little bit of a long piece uh, and maybe I can ask my husband to fix that, but in all honesty I'm actually shocked it's not as uh bad, as I first thought and here's what I'm happy about. I left enough on there, so if I went to a professional after shoulder surgery, probably - and I said I wanted an a-line Bob um - they could do that with what I've got left on here. So happy about that. I am going to add a little bit of something to it, and so so it's just not like straight straight. Oh, this isn't even on but um yeah I mean at first I was just kind of like that was horrendous, and now I'm like, I think I can live with it. Honestly. All I'm gon na be doing is recovering from shoulder surgery, and I just wanted something that I myself could manage um. So I don't have to ask for too much help, especially with your hair. You know because people try, but you know it it's sometimes hard and my hair can be really crazy. Wild um, especially if I don't dry it or straighten it. It gets really big so anyway, thank you guys for watching. I don't recommend this um doing this at home, but if you have to like, if you're like me, you don't have a budget for hair, get your hair cut and you don't have the money honestly, I'm not mad at the results. So - and this is all that you have - you know, I guess you could try it - I thought it turned out much worse than it actually did. I'M actually not mad at the results. Now that I have washed it washing, it um helped a lot. I guess I shouldn't have cut it when it was like natural wave was going on uh so anyway, thanks for watching you guys bye,
