How To: Big Heatless Overnight Curls That Will Last All Day

The BEST way to get super curly hair without having to put heat on it (In my opinion hehe). I've been curling my hair with flexi rods for the longest time, and it honestly does an amazing job for me. Especially for my flat straight asian hair! This method lasts all day and it to be honest it gets prettier and prettier through out the day because it turns into a really nice beachy waves effect by the end of the day.

It's also really inexpensive!

❒ Where can you get flex rods from:

Any local beauty supply store! I used the 1 inch Flexi Rods.

Hey guys, it's show me and welcome back to my channel, so I thought I would show you how I usually kill my hair. It'S completely heatless and it lost so much more longer than a curling iron, so yeah. If you want to know how to do the super duper Kelly hat that we keep watching cool beans, let's get straight into it, so I like to start off with freshly washed hair, I usually add dry, my hair or I hair dry it with the cool setting. I also like to brush my hair thoroughly, so there's no knots and tangles, and this will give you a more defined and smooth curls. So then I like to suction my hair and I grab about this thick and then I tie the rest up. So that's out the way - and I just use a normal clip surface. So what I like to use - and this is literally the only thing I like to use when curling my hair - the calls are flexible. They come in different sizes and shapes shape, put different sizes, but I use the one-inch ones and they are literally amazing because it's heatless, first of all and it'll literally last so much longer. So I like to section off my hair by 2 on each side and then I like to grab the flexi rod and I bent a tiny bit on the top and I always like to twist and curl. So what I mean by that is, I like to twist the hair strand and then curl it around. This lacks a rod. So this is what I mean use a twist and then curl twist and twist and curl, and that's basically how you get really defined curls. So then I like to bend the rest of the flexible so that it's nice and secure and as you can see, the hair strand is literally just chillin there. It'S not going to go anywhere. I also like to curl away from the face so that it gives a better finish if that makes sense, so that everything is all in one direction. Oh yeah, I do exactly the same method all throughout my hair, it's literally twisting curling to a C and curling. So I will speed it up. You guys, so it's not boring AF to watch and the important thing to do is to literally hold down the piece of hair at the very end before you've bent the as you bend, and it's literally so important to do this. So that the hair won't fall out, okay, so now, let's speed things up a bit, so I do have these kind of versions like film versions and they're also shorter than the black ones. I use these because I've actually run out of the black ones and it does exactly the same thing, but this was literally my backup and I literally had this a years as you can see it's, so we like ratchet right now because, like there's wires, sticking out And everything, if I were you guys, I literally highly recommend the the more tougher ones compared to the phone one, because they break less easily, I'm just too lazy to go and buy some again. I probably will anytime soon if I need to so. I also have different lengths of the flexible but you'll get confused. It'S exactly the same inch. It'S all one inch for different lengths, so it's definitely perfect for any type of kind of hair length apart from microphone, is way too long for this one, but I'm going to wrap it around with the purple foam ones to keep it secure. So for the swap section, which is actually the last section, I do have a side passing, so I do have more hair on my right side. So I had to split these sections into three. So I'm doing exactly the same thing. I'M curling away from the face and of course, I'm also going to do this on the very front section which is curling away from my face as well. I'M also going to be securing it with another flexi rod, just so that nothing falls out and everything stays in place. So that's pretty much it with how I curl my hair. I then just leave it overnight and depending on how much sleep you get like, for example, 6 to 8 hours, and that's how long I leave it on for 6 to 8 hours. But to be honest, though, it's not 100 % comfortable to sleep in refine. Your get over it and everything is just worth it in the morning the next morning I just take it all out. I then shake it all out, just literally separate the curls and literally just use my fingers to give it more volume. I just mess about the placement of the curls to make sure everything is where I want it to be, and I just judge my hair up a bit. So it's nice and voluminous and that's pretty much it. I don't use any hairspray. The reason for this is, I, like the tails to color, die down throughout the day, so it's a really nice messy wave by the end of the day, and, yes, I hope you guys enjoyed this video do give it a big thumbs up if you've enjoyed it.
