Hey guys welcome back to my channel, thank you so much for watching we're just going to jump right in today. So if you are interested in learning some tips and tricks for you, curly-haired people out, there then keep watching alright, let's jump in with my first curly hair tip, and that is the temperature of water that you use when you get in the shower. So when you first get in the shower you're going to shampoo your head and you're going to want to use warm water, this is going to help to open the hair cuticle, allowing your shampoo to do its job. Cleanse your hair properly continue to use warm water when you go to condition your hair, but then, when you go to rinse out that conditioner you're going to want to the water to cold now, this is going to help to close their cuticle, and this is going To allow the moisture to be retained, which is going to help prevent frizz and no one wants frizzy curly hair next tip is when you get out of the shower. Do not rub your hair in a towel, it is so bad. Don'T do it don't do it? You want to use a microfiber towel or cotton t-shirt either one doesn't matter, they were just the same. I love these they're called Turbie twist and I have gotten them from Ulta from Target or like two for ten really good deal. You just wrap your hair up. In this and I'll help create less frizz and friction for your hair, but, like I said, if you'd rather not buy anything, just use an old cotton t-shirt that works just as great next. Let'S talk about hair oils. As you know, curly hair is prone to damage. Breakage dullness fuzziness the whole shebang so definitely try hair oils. They can really be very beneficial to your hair. I personally love coconut oils and Argan oils are just my favorites. An argan oil that I've been using recently is from every strand, and it is the organic argan oil. It'S alcohol free, which is great. This product is from Sally's Beauty spun, and it was less than ten dollars all their products in their line are under $ 10. So I would definitely go give this a try. Um. You could also use coconut oils. You have some in your pantry put that on your hair, rinse it out and it will really you'll see a difference. It'Ll just be more manageable and add a little bit of shine to your hair. Okay, guys, this next tip is really hard for a lot of people do not brush your hair if it's wet brush your hair before you get the shower not after not during before every hair type is prone to damage, especially curly hair, if it is wet. So if you're brushing your hair in the shower or after the shower, your hair is going to be damaged, broken and it will become frizzy. So don't do it, don't do it if you die the brush your hair and do it beforehand, don't do it at set, because you won't be happy with the result. Okay, now, let's talk about shampoo and conditioner, this is kind of a basic tip and trick, but you really do want to use shampoos and conditioners that are good, don't buy the cheapest stuff. You can find sometimes there's really awesome products that are cheap, great go for it, but I really read those ingredients. Try to figure out. What'S in these products, don't buy a product where the first ingredient is alcohol. That'S not going to be good for curly hair. That'S really just going to dry it out and that's the last thing we need for our curls, so I would highly recommend using a shampoo or conditioner that is, it doesn't have to be made for curly hair, but it needs to be very nourishing because all curly, Your girls, all we complain about, is how dry our hair is, so definitely something that has shea butter in it, someone that has coconut oil in it. Something has agave oil and kind of oil will do. The shampoo that I have been using lately is by Shea Moisture. Of course, I love all the hair products. This is the coconut biscuits, curl and shine. Shampoo was so protein and neem oil, and this is for thick curly hair. It is anti frizz formula and it adds moisture and shine to your hair. So you really just want to look at these ingredients. What are these first? The very first ingredient. This is coconut oil. The third ingredient is shea moisture vitamin E aloe vera juice. These are the kind of ingredients that you want to see in your products so that they are not drying out your hair next, my conditioner that I've been using lately is by Shea Moisture as well, and it is their mature, manuka, honey and mafura oil conditioner, and This is the intensive hydration conditioner, with African rock fit, and this stuff smells out-of-this-world. I would highlight like a little my nose. It'S okay now smell it forever, so I haven't recommend going to Target and smelling this one. It smells unreal y'all, and this is sulfate free and it's safe for color treated, hair, which my hair is highlighted at a couple times a year. So definitely just be sure to look at the ingredients that the first ingredient is alcohol, do not buy it. It will dry out your hair. I also want to mention what hair mask. I use a lot of pretty girls use, really intensive, hair masks, and lately I have been using the every strand, shea and coconut oil hair mask. This is a deep moisture hair mask with, obviously shea butter and coconut oil so definitely get this want to try. This is that same brand that I mentioned and they are found and in Sally's Beauty, Supply and all their products under $ 10, so definitely check them out. Okay, no! It'S next! Curly hair tip not a lot of people like to hear and I'm sorry, but it's no heat and I startle without myself personally a lot. It was pretty easy for me to cut blow dryers out of my hair routine. I shower at night typically and just let my hair dry and then go to bed and wake up and roll out, but it can take a while for your hair to air dry. So I think that that's a tricky one for a lot of people to get used to, but for me it was more hard for me to give my straighter I like to straight my hair, I used to straighten my hair so much your straight. My hair, like every day in middle school, and once I stopped my hair screw a mile a minute so applying heat, your hair really just kills it breaks it off. I would HIGHLY highly recommend straightening or curling your hair as little as possible. I curl a stream of hair, probably probably three four five four times a year - five four times a year, so definitely just try not to do it as much as possible, even if that means waiting right here dry three days a week and the other days of The week curling it you just, you have to slowly cut it from your routine. Sorry, alright! So the next thing I want to mention to you guys is really to touch your hair as little as possible, and I know that that seems like kind of a silly tip, but it really has helped me a lot. I play with my hair a lot mess with my hair, a lot, the more you pull on those curls you're going to loosen loose and the curls and going to kind of buzz in frizz up as soon as you get out the shower. You don't need to be like scrunching, your hair for ten hours forming little ringlets with it for ten hours playing with your bangs for ten hours. No, no! You just need to just let it do its thing, just let it live its life and just see how it goes, but really the more you touch it. The more you play with it, the more you mess with it, then we're gon na add frizz to your hair and yeah. It'S just gon na get worse more, so the more you touch it. So don't touch your ear. Next, let's talk about how to maintain your curls overnight for your second day third day, who knows maybe it's your fourth day, you know what I'm saying, who knows: let's get crazy, so you're going to want to sleep with your hair in some kind of protective way, Whether you're sleeping in a silk a soap cap, a silk scarf um, if you are putting your hair up in a bun, putting your hair in a pineapple, putting your hair in braids, I don't care what you're doing you're going to want to figure out what method Works for you, but you need to figure out some method to sleep with your hair so that it's not going to crush or stretch out your curls and I'm probably going to do a video soon on how to do second day, hair um, maybe trying out a Couple of different methods, and then you guys, can try the methods out see which methods work for you best. So let me know if you want to see that in the comments down below but um yeah, you really need to figure out a method that works for you, like I said, would that be pineapple, I'm putting a head of bun braiding, your hair put it in A silk scarf: silk cap. I think it what you do, but you need to figure out something, so you don't have to wash your hair every day because you cannot wash hair every day. Next, I wanted to mention to you possibly going sulfate or silicone free. This is an optional method. You don't have to do it. If you have the hair, it's not a necessity, but there are definitely benefits to it. So essentially you do not use any shampoos or conditioners that have sulfates or silicones in them. You don't use heat um, and this is kind of called curly girl method started by Laureen Massey, who has the line called diva curl, which you can get at Sephora um. This is a really beneficial method. I have used it. I love it. It can be tricky to find hair products that are truly sulfate or silicone. Free, a lot of products will say: they're sulfate, silicone, free they're, not so really always check your ingredients. Once again, you always want to check the ingredients, but this is definitely a good method that could be very beneficial to you, so definitely check it out and see if it works for you last, but certainly not least, this this isn't really a tip or trick. I just wanted to let you know that if you have curly hair rocket-like own it curly hair can be so cool like it's cool. Every hair is cool, spirals are pro kinky curly hair is cool straight hair as cool doesn't matter. What kind of hair you have? It'S absolutely beautiful, and I can assure you that if you have stick straight hair, there's someone that's dying to have your hair. If you have curly hair, someone is straight, hair is dying to have your hair. Everyone wants the type of hair that they don't have. So, just just rock what you have on it. You know there's no point in damaging your hair. You straighten my hair every single day. All I wanted with that stick straight hair, and I really just wish that there was more people today on television that had curly hair, because it's beautiful and you just need to rock what God gave you if you have curly hair girl own it. One last thing that I wanted to mention to you guys was a new subscription box. I'Ve been really excited about. It'S really really fun concept. It'S called rocks box, which I'm sure some of you have heard of. They essentially send you three jewelry pieces every month and then you trade them out end of the month three new jewelry pieces. It'S really nice! If you have commitment issues with the expensive jewelry. This way you can try out fun, expensive jewelry that you wouldn't necessarily buy and then trade it out the next month when you get sick of it. So it's kind of perfect, I'm actually wearing some of the pieces today that I got I got these gorgeous earrings and absolutely love them they're gorgeous. I got this necklace, which is from Kendra Scott. It is a beautiful blue, long, necklace, stunning, and I also got this ring, which I will give a close-up on in just a minute. So, if you're interested um in this monthly subscription - and you want to try it out - you can use the code. India batson beauty XOXO and get your first box free. So why not give it a try um if you're interested, I will leave that information in the description box down below alright guys. That'S it! Thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate it more than you know, and I just want to say once again that if you're a girl with kinky curly, hair straight hair way to hear crazy hair, I don't care what kind of hair you have just enjoy it rock it and own it. Thanks guys,

IndiaBatson: i have had so many questions about tip #4 (when to brush your hair) and bc I was so new to youtube when i created this video i didn't know how to explain myself very well. it is okay to to do the following depending on your hair type: dry brush your hair before the shower: best for waves and loose curls OR coat your hair in conditioner and detangle with your fingers in the shower: best for curls and ringlets It is not okay in my opinion to brush your hair after the shower. I find it changes my hair pattern completely and causes breakage and frizz.

Aaliyah: I hate when people with straight hair say “omg! Your hair is so frizzy, do you even brush it?” Like they have no clue about the mess it makes

Corina Marsico: It really kills me that people think it's okay to comb their fingers through my curly hair. like dude I don't want frizz STOP

Afnan Aldimasi: I've always felt insecure (sometimes ashamed) over my hair. Always had it in buns. Then started doing treatments (past 7 years). The last treatment I've done is a year ago. Now for the first time, I'm really considering to keep it natural and embrace what God gave me. Thank you for the words of encouragement, it's just what I need to hear. Now I think I need to watch your other videos!

Timelapse: My hair is so healthy after three years of no dying, no heat, and no hairspray or nothing like that. Just amazing hair treatments, hair masks, and careful handling and trimming! Soft, shiny, moveable hair now My hair is not curly, just boring straight/wavy-ish hair lol wish I had curly hair but whatever.

Sabri Dottavio: Great advice...waves and curls are gorgeous...I’ve been rocking them all my life...straightened my hair very few times throughout my life...thanks for your videos so inspiring

Jazmine Ellender: Oh my gosh, tip 4 killed me... I always brush my hair when it's wet. My mom taught me to do it like that, no wonder my hair is always frizzy... I'll stop that from now on.

Marleny: Just a quick tip: Most of Shea Moisture products have protein. A lot of protein in your hair is not good. Be careful not to over do it or use those products too much.

eva orlando: you're gonna go so far on youtube. you're goals. your hair slays everything and i really like your personality. I have curly hair and these tips helped me a looooot. thank you so much ilysm <3

Alex M.: Being okay with my curls took a very long time..I regularly was made fun of as a kid for having frizzy curly hair and it pretty much forced me into being a straight iron addict. I'm finally embracing my natural hair after all those years of damage and insecurity!

• Sam •: So fun story: I never knew my hair was wavy until 6-7th grade I just assumed it was just dry. So every year before that I just dry brushed my hair and looked like a living frizz ball the entire day. My hair was horrible. It's not that great now but it's at least 1000x less frizzy

Rachel Nicol James: for years I've wanted straight hair and did everything I could to get it (straightening & using straighten products) and it was so much work and I was never happy with my hair. Lately I've been trying to embrace the waves in my hair and this video definitely helped me pick up some tips on controlling my hair. Thank you!! ❤️ btw you're so cute and I subscribed I love your stuff

Sherah Adams: You rock! Already knew most of these tips but it took me years to learn this. Really became my voice. Once I hit puberty, my straight hair totally changed to kinky frizzy hair. was a Nightmare! Then all through middle & high school I damaged it by straightening it every single day! As an adult of 28 years you for sure would have been my inspiration to accept my curly hair. Even now, thank You. last comment hit bulls eye. Couldn't agree more!❤

Lauren Jennings: I’ve been on the curly hair journey for about a year now. I had been flat ironing for my about 10 years and I just gave my flat iron to my sister who has almost straight hair because I haven’t used it in a year and Im probably not ever again. I’m so proud of myself for not using heat for a year

Elinor Meyler: I’ve always had naturally curly hair, but have been in complete denial of it thinking there was something inherently ugly or messy about it. I’ve never wanted to have this hair type but I admit that I think it looks stunning on other girls, making me wonder why I never thought it looked nice on me... and then I realised that it’s because I never had a clue about how to manage it properly!!! Now I’m definitely going to use these tips and nurture the natural state of my hair. Thanks so much for this lovely x

Bk2Senpai: This video made me realize how gifted I am with my curly hair. I would straighten it a lot as well because of how Frizzy it would get. This video made my week lol Thank you so much for the tips and positive attitude you bring :)

Shyla Tobiassen: You've totally changed my vibe with my natural curly hair. I had short hair for yeeaaaars and only in the past year and a half I've grown it out and had to learn how to care for my hair. I straightened my hair all the time and you've made me love my curls. Thankyou. <3

Aditi Chengappa: I loved this! You're beautiful and your tips were honest! here's hoping I can rock my curls even during this monsoon!! eeee

Katie Hardy: This is seriously so helpful. I'm so tired of hearing the same tips and tricks that don't work for my hair, and as someone who's very very insecure about my natural hair, it's so refreshing to hear something genuinely helpful from a curly girl's perspective!

xNarttu: Tips from the Curly Girl Method: - Try ditching shampoo. If you can't go without, try sulphate free shampoos. Sulfates are extremely drying and strip the hair of all oils, the bad AND the good ones. - ONLY comb your hair while it is wet and full of conditioner. Do it gently and carefully, using your fingers first, then a comb if you want a more thorough combing. Brushing/combing your hair whie it is dry can cause more damage and breakage. - Avoid silicones in your products.

I don't want a YouTube name: Love this video. My natural hair texture is literally just like yours and I've been doing so many new things I've learned to care for my hair and it's been working so well :) you're gorgeous!

Ella: My hair is the exact same and this makes me love my thick curls thank you so much! I'm growing to love them more and your so inspiring!! Thank you sooo much!

Sharmee Divan: So after seeing your confidence with your waves/curls I got very inspired to follow your tips. I don't have long hair as I had to chop my tresses off due to massive post pregnancy hair loss. I am finally growing my hair out and coming around to love my curls instead of constantly using straightening products on the my tresses. So I did try your tips and although my hair is only shoulder length they did turn out to be awesome. Thank you for inspiring me girl! Hugs.

The Hollyberry Lady: Girl, you have inspired me so much! I too, have been flat ironing for way too long. My hair is almost indentical to yours, just a bit longer. Same color and everything. Lol. Don’t know why I’ve been resisting my curly waves for so long when they’re so beautiful. Don’t know why or when I ever started thinking they weren’t. I must have been out of my mind. Done flat ironing. Thank you so much for your great videos and your encouragement. You have changed my hair life!

Lorie Pot: I've been a curly girl all my life. Have just recently stopped using the hair dryer, stopped bleaching my hair and I can't get over how much healthier it is! Came on YouTube looking for good oils to use but I just wanted to say thanks for the shampoo and conditioner tip - will definitely be looking at the ingredients now! And yes, please do a second day hair tutorial! I've always just slept with it out but pushed all the curls above my head, will be very interested in other methods! Ps: you're gorgeous!!!

Kimberly Mederos: stumbled upon your channel and i'm SO GLAD I DID!! thanks for the tips, I never saw the full potential in my curls & always tried to hide them behind straight hair BUT you've seriously inspired me to work on my curls and rock them!! can't wait to see your other videos :D

anu Sar: Love you and your curls. At 42 yrs of age, I am trying(hard) to embrace my curls... It's hard at first because of all the damage done by heat tools and keratin treatments (curse them!) but your videos help so much so thanks!

Mandee: Love the tips(: In the shower, after I condition my hair, I use a shower comb. Combing the ends and working my way up. Its easiest for me that way

Isabel: This person commented on my curly hair saying “brush your hair!” And I was like “oh, do you really wanna go there?”

Adelaide Katrina: Your hair looks like how mine would look if I didn't destroy it with 7 years of flat ironing it daily and bleaching it platinum blonde. My hair is a frizzy mess rn and I'm attempting to rehabilitate it. Loving this advice so far

DeAnna L: I don't know where you got your information for #4. Every curly girl I've ever known brushes their hair in the shower. Honestly, detangling while dry just seems absolutely insane to me. My hair is so curly and crazy that it gets ridiculously tangled and is extremely painful to detangle when dry. If I ever do, I actually get MORE pulling and breakage if I brush it dry. The only way I can detangle my hair is in the shower with loads of conditioner and my Wet Brush. As long as you're using a brush with flexible bristles like the Wet Brush or a wide tooth comb or something, I really don't see how brushing your hair wet is a problem. The trick is just being really gentle.

exohexoh: If you're still struggling with frizz (Which I was) try using olaplex no.2 as a leave in! It's AMAZING. I shampoo with noughty wave hello, condition with bar none conditioner bar (RINSE WELL) and then while my hair is dripping wet, I throw in a small amount of olaplex no. 2, scrunch with a t shirt, then shea moisture curl smoothie, scrunch again and then plop in a t shirt for 10 mins. IT. WORKS.

Evelyn: I hated my curly hair for the longest time, but now that I found your videos on your curly hair, I definitely feel like I can manage my hair much better and rock it better now :) your curly hair videos are so helpful, thank you!

Christiana G: You are absolutely gorgeous! I am one of the few that appreciates my curls and rocks them daily! I love all your curly hair videos, I honestly adore your hair and I'm working towards getting my hair as long as yours is! My curls are similar to yours and I would love for my hair to be that long! I'm so happy I subscribed to your channel, keep it up!<3

Lannie B: Thank u! I have thick curly hair, I've never used heat, but my hair gets super dry and super super frizzy. This rlly helped me on my curly hair journey!

Nomickos Bistro: This was SO helpful. Omg. So many of the things you say NOT to do are exactly what I've been doing with my curly hair for years. And I wonder why I am never happy! Haha I tried out many of the things you mention and it's the best result I've gotten in years. Thank you!

Megan Alexis: A second day hair (and how to sleep on your hair without messing your curls up) would be so helpful!

bela: I’m so glad I found your channel bc my hair is just like yours but lately it has been crazy, frizzy, and unmanagable. thanks for the tips!

The Wifestyle: I'm a new subscriber and I'm trying so hard to embrace my natural hair (I straighten it everyday almost right now) Thank you so much all the tips!!!

Molly Kate: I've never been able to find good tutorials for my hair, since it's right in between super curly and wavy. When I saw your videos I got really excited because my hair is almost exactly like yours! It's really cool as a younger girl who's really self conscious about her hair to see someone older than me rocking hair just like mine. I'm a newer subscriber, but I really love your videos already and these tips are already making me way more confident about my hair! Thank you so so much!

Ismee Mich: Thank you for your tips/advice sister!❤

Ashley Thomason: This video was so helpful to me! I definitely will be doing these tips.

A.K Always: I went to school today with my naturally curly hair (keep in notice i always straighten my hair) and everyone was like "omg is that your natural hair??? I had no idea!" And im really trying to embrace my natural hair. Im only 11 and i hope i can embrace my hair like you do!!!

Madi: I have the exact same hair as you but brown. It's so hard to find videos for that kind of curl/wave.

Kayleen Westland: My tip that I have found is to start at the ends first because it can cause more snarl starting at the base and snapping. I use a metallic pic which slicks through my wet hair. I will never brush my hair when it's dry because I have seen so much more break off. If you haven't watched JustCurly videos before she is against brushing hair pretty much altogether. If you detangle, do so with conditioner in the shower. If you brush it messes up the "clumps". I think all curly beauties have amazing tips, and everyone's hair might react different. It's really trial and error on all things beauty. :)

Kristen Bedley: How long did it take for your hair to transition and become more defined? My hair has lost a lot of its definition and its very frizzy and crazy due to years (Like 8 years) of straightening it on a regular basis and 2 years of bleaching it. I want to start getting my natural curl back and returning my hair to a healthier state but I'm afraid if I don't see progress after like the first six months or so I will feel defeated and go back to my old ways. I know it will take time and everyone's hair is different, I just want to be able to get an idea so I might be able to judge my own progress.

Amaleeya Firdausy: Love this video I have a curly/wavy hair, and I hated it. It's just so hard to manage and it was my biggest insecurity, at school.. I kept touching my hair and tried my best to make it straight. My friend said that she doesn't like my hair :( and it honestly offended me. Since then I'm always unconfident with my hair and always complaining "Why can't I have a straight hair?!?" But step by step I learned that I should be confident and grateful with my hair, I should've not change myself just because what others think. This video inspired me too, you're right "Curly hair is cool, and any other hair is also cool." Thank you for that Sorry if I get too serious here but I just need to say this and we should all start to love ourself.

Nichole vasquez: I really love the Maui moisture line it's made my hair so soft and shiny and has helped define my curls.

Mrs.Youtube: You're such an inspiration to us curly hair girls !! Keep rocking babe ! :)

Alyssa Patti: Just getting started on my Curly Girl journey. Your videos have really helped a lot, but I've been wondering. What if my hair is curly/wavy, but not thick. Can I still use products that are meant for thicker hair?

angelequejem: I love u so much! I had absolutely no clue what to do with my hair my who life (24 YEARS!). I was a hair in a bun kind of girl and then I found your videos and now my curls are getting tight and HEALTHY! It is very hard to find a video of a caucasian doing curls. Thank you sooo much!

Amira Safwat: I honestly can't figure my hair type yet but from scalp it's straight and silky and from the ends sometimes there is loose curls or tight curls and when I braided it it gets wavy, and I don't use heat at all.

Karsyn Kilpatrick: I'm so happy I found your channel! I've been having trouble with my hair, and while some people say how "amazing" my hair is (I have "copper-red" hair with 3A type) I also get a lot of people saying how ugly my hair is. I'm really sensitive about it, because I don't know what to DO with it...

quixzz: I've straightened my hair every week day since middle school. I'm now a junior and still do this. I hate hate hate straightening it, but my natural hair is terrible. It's just a big poofy mess. I've tried different things but I can't seem to lose the frizz or puffiness. I would stop straightening it, but I haven't found another way to style my hair that I like. I wish my hair was just really curly or really straight, not a crazy mess :(

xsasukex: So many good tips. Ive been struggling a lot with figuring out how to get my screwdriver curls to flourish... Thank you for this video.

Craig W: Random long haired metalhead here.. this helped me immensely, thank you !

GraceSilva: Thank you for this, I needed this. When I look up how to take care of curly hair I'll get people with really thick hair (I have 2B/2C) and I always end up with products that weigh doen my hair. Thank you ♡

Cales Merch: Loved your tips ive been trying so hard to treat my curly hair nicely

cymophanous: I used to be so addicted to my straightener in high school that I brought it with me and would touch up in the bathrooms during the day... yikes.

AK: you are the first person I have found on youtube that has my hair texture.

megan: I wish I had waves like yours!! My wave pattern is so inconsistent, and they look kinda like i have straight, unbrushed hair. It's quite unfortunate, haha

TrixieMattelStan: Tip 10 really had me shook, I actually realized that a lot of people curl their hair with heat so it could look like mine, and come to think i hated my hair , i used to WISH i had 3b and 3c hair so if ur reading this and u have 3b or 3c hair, rock it gurl it’s beautiful

Júlia Rosa: Thanks for the tios ! My hair is curly and is frizzy! This helped me a lot

Marli Moller: wow!! You are so beautiful! I love your eyes! And I agree, rock out your curls. About 6 years ago I decided to totally just throw out my straightener, and cut off all the dead ends (yikes!!) but my hair has grown so beautifully and my curls are just so awesome now! Loooove the video! ❤

Carolina Medero: Absolutely beautiful hair! Thanks for the tips =)

Winterbabe: Your stunning !! Oh my God and Yes I agree with all these tips, It’s so important to take good care of your hair Especially if it’s curly!

S Kael: NEVER brush your curly hair dry before the shower! It's literally the worst way to brush your hair. Use a wet brush or a denman brush or some brush that's meant to be used on wet hair. Or just use a wide-tooth comb and detangle after putting in lots of conditioner. Yes hair is more fragile when wet, but curly hair will break apart and be pulled out of your scalp and RUINED if you brush it dry when it's tangled. I did it for years before I knew better and it was awful. I still cringe when i think of how much i damaged it. And it won't break your curl pattern or cause frizz if you do it right, and with the correct brush.

Ashley Cappelletty The Wild Creatrix: I cannot stand brushing my hair when it's dry! It hurts and my hair turns into a gigantic puff ball!

Maddie Bishop: i use pantene curl.. and it has worked really well, not expensive, and super moisturizing! My hair has been straight all the time, but it literally switched to super curly and watching these vids are super helpful! Thx so much!

Skyler Joy: Thanks! Great tips! I just recently started rocking my curls : )

Amna S.Q: I use to have stick straight hair and use to wosh I would have curly hair now as I have grown older I have been blessed with wavy 2B 2C curls and i cant be happier. Now I am learning on how to maintain and care for my curls. So thanks for these videos ❤

Rebecca Lange: I have a couple questions: 1) how do you keep your curls over night? Do you use product and then spray your hair with water in the morning to revive your curls? I find when I do that, my hair tends to be frizzy, but better curls than if I don’t wet my hair in the morning. 2) I work out every day and therefore, sweat quite a bit. You said (and I’ve read) we shouldn’t shampoo our hair every day, but my roots get greasy when I don’t and I feel gross since I work out. I even started getting dandruff because I’d shampoo every other day, while using conditioner every day (it might have been because I started going to college in a different state with harder water, too tho—not sure). I use dandruff shampoo now, which helped with dandruff but is probably bad for my hair.

DooNYoo: for some it is physically impossible to comb our hair while it's dry, it will even cause more damage than combing it while wet. it depends on how curly you are. aside for that your tips have been very helpful !

Brie Agapov: Gosh I love your channel! I love the fact you always say, "This is a safe place for all hair." Your so sweet, LOVE IT! BTW I have your hair, but brown and shoulder length! Your tips have been amazing! I just recently found out that I have wavy/curly hair, no matter how weird that sounds it's so true! BECAUSE I always brushed it so my curls would fluff and frizz. I honestly thought I just had frizzy hair. I just wanted to let you know, you've helped me a lot. THANK YOU! :-)

Carli Kriel: Embrace what God gave you That's so awesome! Your Curly hair is part of who you are... a lot of happiness comes from embracing your Curls! Personal experience!

Krystle Nicole: Hey love!! your curls are BEAUTIFUL!!!! You sound like me. I'm SO insecure about my looks unless my hair is straight. My hair hasn't grown for YEARS and I think it's because I put heat to it frequently. I'm going to stop blow drying/straightening for a while to see how it goes. xoxo

Newsreporteroikawa: This helped so much especially since my hair gets rlly frizzy

Alonnah Marie: I have low porosity hair so using a hairdryer(for me) helps my hair absorb the products. I mean maybe it's not helping as much as I think it is but I think it helps moisturize my hair a little more. You know.

Kari Derksen: I really think it is important to mention that if you are transitioning you will experience a LOT of “frizz” after about a month or two. If you look closely tho, it’s not real frizz, it’s just a bunch of new growth or baby hairs, which is obviously awesome!!! I was really discouraged until took a closer look and now I’m just excited!

MsSusiePan: Beautiful people can rock any hair. You could rock straight, curly, wavy, afro, bald. Don't matter :P

Aoife K: I'm naturally auburn and atm, my hair is at 2a , lacks life, is frizzy and gets greasy easy. I'm going to try and do all of this, because when I was a kid I was at least a 2c/3a and I reckon I can definitely get back to that.

Kat Carter: so happy that i found someone with a similaur hair type, mine are just a little tighter. some people find it weird that i have the hair that i have, but i cant wear twists or braids as protective hairstyles, because i come from a native american/caucasian backround and live in the middle of suburbia! hearing those conditioner and shampoo tips REALLY helped me out with my dryness and breakage
