Hey guys welcome back to my channel. My name is Shania. If you are new here and in today's video we're going to be doing heatless curls. So let's get right to it. So I stumbled upon this technique because I was wrapping my hair and I took my hair down after I got out the shower and my hair was in curls and I was like hold up wait a minute. So that's why today, I'm gon na do a whole video dedicated to doing heatless curls, which is Bantu knotting. So I'm just going to take some oil and just like run it through my hair, real quick because, like the brush is kind of like catching it a bit so and plus it helps with the shine and like molding the curl. When you take it down, I'm gon na put all my hair into one, so I'm gon na show you two different ways. This is the first one, so first we're just gon na twist. All this hair up, just put it in a bun, make sure these ends are nice and tucked under, because it's going to give you a really nice end and then what I like to do is use one of these satin scrunchies, something satiny so that you know You'Re not leaving any marks, and it's nice and smooth when you take it down. You wear that overnight. You take your hair down, it's going to be a beautiful voluminous type of curl situation. So now I'm just gon na try it the other way and see. If I come out with something different, so I'm just going to split my head into four quadrants, I'm gon na take a little bit of oil focus on the ends because they're extremely dry, because they're, the oldest part of the hair, I'm gon na brush it all. The way through make sure all the oils disperse okay, so we're gon na brush everything up, because I don't want the bantu knot to be down here and it's being crushed when I'm sleeping on it, because I do sleep on my sides. So I'm gon na put everything up. Okay, so now that that's up we're gon na twist it foreign s are nice and smooth and tuck it under. If it's too tight just unravel a little bit, you can leave the bantu knot like that, but I feel like this has like an extra little curl so or keeps it smooth whatever it does. It does not. So when you do the bantu knot, you're twisting twisting your hair and eventually the twisting it double coils. So it starts to bend and that's how you get that first little notch you just keep twisting and go under those notches and then it'll just build up. Okay, twisting put it under keep twisting put it under. So all I got ta do now is just put my wrap on my head: go to sleep and I'll be back to check in with you guys after it's all said and done all right guys. So it's the next day - and I did forget to like show you guys how I actually put my hair in a wrap - probably already know how to do this, but for people that might need some guidance here. It is this scarf about this big. I don't really like these because they're too short, it's too short, but you know I make it work. I always do it from the front and I always do a double flap. This is for security, and this way all of my hair is covered. Nothing is sticking out at all and me personally, I just twist it. I don't want to create any knots and give any tension on my forehead and give me a headache. So I just twist it I like to tuck it under and it literally doesn't move all night, so it is the next day. So let me go ahead and take it down. I'M gon na keep it like that. I'M scared, ciao. I'Ve been experimenting like curling, my hair in different ways with many tools, because my hair is stretched, but this looks like this is going to be the best one, and this is Helix, so um, I'm gon na put a little bit of oil on my hands. Just so, I'm not taking any oil from my hair just a little bit just to like coat the fingertips and then I'm just gon na like unravel piece by piece and place it nicely. I don't want it to lose its curl, so these are like so effortless like try to like reduce frizz as much as possible. Separate the curls. Not comb them through. Definitely don't want to comb them through, especially with like natural hair, afro hair. Once you comb it through it's back to blowout state, so I'm trying to be very gentle, even if I comb it through with my hands, the curls are still there baby. This is this. Is it you hear me where my earrings at so cute? Oh my! Oh, my gosh, I'm so glad that I split it up into fours because it was still giving like beautiful curls when it was just one bun at the top. These four I consider another level OMG, my hair. It looks so pretty get more volume. Oh this is it if you want a tighter curl, do more of the Bantu Knots, but if you want more, like big voluminous curls, keep it to two four three, like I know, bantu knots was all the craze but bantu knots on stretch hair. It'S sickening in the most perfect way: they're, so soft and bouncy, and just pretty this is. This is probably like the the prettiest my hair's ever been in the blowout State. This can be my hair it I could comb it through with my hands and the curl is not going nowhere make sure you blend the back, so you don't have like straight Parts. I don't know why. I did the middle part again because I like doing the zigzag part that was super cute. Oh my gosh, this is gon na last all day. I know it it's gon na last all day. So, in conclusion do this because I am not a person that likes to wear the hair straight when I do like a blowout, it's just too much like this. I can oil my hair and I can keep it moisturized. I can keep it sealed with moisture by doing this every night. So what my plan is is that when my hair is blowed out, I'm gon na do this every single night, even though my hair is already curled, I'm gon na continue to brush my hair out and then put it in the bantu knot every single night, while My hair is like this. That is the plan, because this is just too stinking cute. I'Ve tried so many things that required heat, and it was just unnecessary like I was thinking in my head, like my hair, cannot hold a curl for nothing, but what heatless curl baby did that okay, wow wow wow, I can't get over it, and it's so easy. Like it took me literally five minutes to put my hair into this and then for it to do this overnight, this is my hair. My hair has never look like this. This is Holiday Hair. This is date, night hair. This is everything - oh, my God I might have had to put a little heat to blow it out and straighten it, but doing this and I feel like if you were to do it on just blow it out here. It'Ll probably be a lot bigger, but the fact that I straightened my hair. It gives off a very smooth, silky texture, I'm gon na stop playing with it, because I don't want to get it too frizzy, but a little frizz is good, not too much. Not in this type of style this is it I'm five years into my natural hair journey, and I'm just now realizing this. This will look good on short hair. This will look good on long, hair, medium length, hair like this. This is it when I do. My hair straight, like my ends, can be very like wispy, so it's. This is gon na be good for me to like keep my ends intact: keep them nice and moisturized and like coiled up, so they don't end up looking a mess and you know what's crazy. I wanted to get some waveformers because I like the wavy look, but this is it. I didn't need nothing but four satin scrunchies and if you want more of a tighter curl go with, like maybe six or eight um bantu knots. But I think four is what does it for me? I get Curl I get length I get, I get it all, but yeah guys. Thank you so much for watching this video. Please like comment and subscribe and share my videos.
