Hair Tutorial (How To): Style Naturally Curly Hair (No Heat)

How to style your naturally curly/ wavy hair. No heat is involved.

P.S.

The amount you put in your hair depends on how much you have. I have thick semi coarse hair so that is why I use so much. If you have fine thin hair, I would definitely you a lot less! :)

Hey guys, so I just wanted to show you how I style my naturally curly hair. It'S been a journey with this hair. Literally, it's taken me a while to figure this out, but this is just my routine. How I do it and I hope it works for somebody out there, so you can style your hair and just rock your natural curls. Everything is from the drugstore, so it's cheap and yeah. I think that's all I have to say so. Just keep on watching and I'll show you how I style my hair alright, so I just got out of the shower i shampooed and conditioned my hair with Aussie, shampoo and conditioner, and also while the conditioners in my hair. I also use a wide tooth comb to go through my hair and take out all the knots I feel like if I use a comb after I get out of the shower, it breaks up the curls and the curls just aren't as nice. I don't know how to explain it. So what I do I comb it in the shower, then, once I get out of the shower, I use a towel and I know everybody says to use like a t-shirt, but I do my own thing so I use a towel and then I let it sit And dry because my hair is pretty wet, so my hair is washed and it's ready to go, and so I'm just gon na take it out of this towel and imma. Show you how I style it step-by-step and every single product I talk about is gon na. Be down in the description it's gon na be down there in the description, so alright, so I'm gon na take out my towel. Take off my towel and, as you can see, my hair is not sopping wet anymore. I leave my hair flip down and I'm not gon na flip, my hair over until the end. So, okay, I don't know how I'm gon na do this, but we're gon na we're gon na do this together. Okay, I use fruity sleek and shine intensely smooth leave-in conditioner cream, and this is what it looks like okay, so I pour out the cream conditioner and then I get like about this much. I get this and I rub it in my hands and then I just start from the roots. Then I just start putting it all. In my hair, I start from the tips, not the roots and I'm getting more product. You might say it's stuff, that's a lot of product. I know it's just my hair, it's a lot so alright, so I get all the product and then I put some in the bag. I put some like. I don't put it in my roots, because I don't want my roots to look greasy, but I put it like over so like these front pieces that people are gon na see I just kind of like wipe it over, but it's not like I'm going into it Because I don't want my hair to be wait for greasy, so just kind of you know basically just laid on this is the one thing don't get if you have like, if you're doing with curly hair, don't get your fingers and start going like this? For me, I just find that my curls, when I do that they just break apart and it makes my hair just really fluffy. So I just kind of lay it on top like this. Okay. So now that I put all of the living conditioner in my hair, so the next product I'm gon na use - is the Aussies brunch mousse and it's like for curly hair. I absolutely love this stuff. I get this and I shake it up, and then I get probably about this much and then I split it between both of my hands and with my hair, still fluff, with my hair still flipped over. I just kind of put it Oh and again concentrating more on the ends than on your roots, because you don't want your roots to be greasy, and I do kind of I do kind of um. What'S this called scrunch it a little bit just to make the curls a little more like bouncy? I guess I'm enough, I don't know the terminology. I just do this and then the last well, this isn't the last product I put in my hair, but I feel like it's the last main product. The next product I use is the hair polisher styling gel it has natural aloe vera face. So I like to use this one because it's not like normal Joe's, like usually when you think of gel you think of like a key hair and like really hard and stuff, but this gel honestly, all it does it just it says non flaking. It doesn't plate and also it just kind of makes the curls stay together, but it doesn't make it hard it. Just I don't know it's honestly perfection. If you have curly hair, go buy this. It'S a lifesaver, so open it up this one. I don't get that much because just a little bit works. Okay, so get like this much just read it around in your hands and so same thing as the other products. Just put it more on your ends. Okay, I'm gon na use my blow-dryer, it's just a normal Connor. I honestly don't even know what type of blow dryer this is, and I just put put this attachable diffuser head. So what I do I put it on low on the cool setting. I don't put it on warm because I just feel like that makes my hair frizzy, so I just put it on cool, put it on low and with my hair flipped over can't me try to show you. I just grab my hair like this and doolittle dolittle sections don't be like putting your whole head cuz. The air is not gon na get there. Let'S get this and I'll just grab a little section. I don't even go all the way up. I just go like halfway and then turn it on once I'm done diffusing it. I just flip my hair over and I'd ride, I would say 80 % of it and then 20 % I'll, let it just air dry. So I just flip my hair over and then I have to just kind of find my part and put it where I want okay. So yes, so just kind of like style it by putting the curls, basically wherever you want. So if you see this is how it turns out it just comes out. The curls are really defined. It'S very voluminous. It'S gon na dry a little bit and I know when it dries. It gets a little bit bigger. But that's okay, like I, like my hair, to be really big. The final thing that I will put on it, though, is not every time, but I I kind of discovered this recently and I really like it as you can tell I love Aussie, I'm not sponsored. I only have two videos come on people who don't know me like that, but I really love Aussie Aussie makes amazing products. This is the Aussie headstrong volume hairspray. This hairspray is amazing. It literally it will keep your hair in place and I won't do. I don't spray on my hair to keep my hair in place, but if I put it underneath it gives me volume and yeah it is made for volume. So I guess it's doing its job, but if you want more volume, let me show you and just flip your head over and spray it a little bit and I'll usually do this with my hair is completely dry, but we don't got time for that. So just spray your hair, just let it sit then put your head over again and I don't know if you can see if I see volume and if you don't it's okay, so yeah, so I just kind of sprayed a little bit not too much. This hairspray is like really strong and if you spray too much your hair's gon na be a part of the rock, we don't want that. We want soft touchable curls, so just spray that a little bit and it makes it um hold so yeah. That'S basically what I do. I use all these products in my hair, but it makes your hair pretty nice, but okay, so yeah. So this is how I do my hair and I just wanted to share it cuz. I remember when I know there might be a little 12 year old girl, who's kind of struggling. I remember back then. I didn't know how to do my hair and it was a lot of trial and error and not every single curly person. Hair is the same. So these things might work for you and they might not, but just keep trying - and I also really like that all of this stuff is drugstore products, so it's cheap, and that makes your hair look nice. So try it out and let me know and also like comment and subscribe and check out any of my old videos and yeah. Let'S just be friends, that's on the creepy, but okay bye. I hope you really like this tutorial and I hope it helped you out. Bye
