What have I done welcome to the emotional Journey that is me getting. My tape ends installed, so these tapings are from curls Queen. Thank you. So inside of this box it was packaged really pretty. There was a brush pouch um, a bonnet and the clip-ins. Excuse me, the tape ends came inside of this satin bag. I put like the type. I got the texture length all of that grams in the description box and there was a cute little. Thank you note at the bottom of it. So my stylist took me straight to the Bowl, because my hair was hard like a like a rock um. I had in ponytail for like a week and she was like we should put in this - I'm like girl, just some got to be. She was like that's like trying to like loosen up, but how hard it was anyway, she's washing my hair um really needed a good wash. I love it when they do it like rough, like on a vigorous cycle like on a heavy duty, because please get all the way in there. This only happens once every six months like I need you to just. I don't want to feel my scalp when you're done, okay, so um. Of course she like conditioned my hair and everything, but I just skipped that part and I think we're gon na go straight to the towel and then straight to the chair should do a little towel dry. She spritzed some um heat protectant spray and she just went in right in with the blow dryer, because I requested that she clipped my ends. My ends were so bad. They still had that blonde on them and then like they were just not doing good. I guess for me having braids for so long, but yeah a little mini, limp check. Okay, the hair is flourishing, so yeah. She just went ahead and clipped off all the blind in my ends, but I skipped that part because it's boring um. This is the fun part watching her put all of this hair into my hair. That is already a lot of hair um. This was interesting and like At first I was like okay cool, because you know it wasn't. It felt like manageable but like as she kept going like more and more it just. It was like, like a Chia Pet like I just, would look up and look back and I just was like what's going on, it was so much, and you know you know what I'm saying, let's be clear: okay, Jayla is going Jayla made. The hoes laugh all right. We was in here a week having a great time having a great time um. It was right here like that. I kind of had knew that I had messed up um yeah. What have I done? I wasn't trusting the process girl like I was very um. I had no trust, no faith at all. I was convinced that I had made a mistake by putting all this hair on my hair, because, with these tapings like, if you have thick hair, it's just going to basically like go off the intensity of your hair. And I've been told that my hair is um. That of a Christmas tree, so yeah it just kept getting more and more and more, and then I saw she had a whole section over there left y'all. I could have cried, but you know this is the most trust the process hairstyle that I've done to date, and you would think that I'm used to this chaos by now, but no I'm not it's still the same emotional roller coaster that I just keep putting my Cell phone over and over again, okay, so the actual tape-ins um they are thick but lightweight um, the hair is very manageable. Doesn'T tangle, doesn't shed like 10 out of 10 like the quality of the hair beautiful? Then you know I bought my own bottle of foam wrap lotion because I already knew we was going to use the whole bottle all right. So um, I don't know if y'all know, but girls that got like a lot a lot. A lot, a lot of hair. You you bring your own products to the to the stylist with you, because you just you know you don't want to be trifling and just use up all this stuff watching her struggle with this made me feel so bad. Like oh, my gosh, I don't think I paid this girl. I don't think I tipped this girl enough because her doing this I was so appreciative. It was a lot of hair and she does tape ends but usually not curly um, and so I told her. Let'S just I bought my spray bottle, I bought the foam wrap lotion and I also bought that brush. I linked that brush down in the description box also because that was like the key to making this um manageable, like making it like. Okay, okay, so I asked her to cut it. Um like shape it for me, but she was didn't want to shape it because she was scared. She was gon na cut my real hair, which I totally understood. So this is what we was working with walking out. Okay, I needed to install the foundation was great and um yeah. I can't believe this, like. Oh, it's pretty dull, it's pretty yeah! So as soon as I got home, you already know I picked up that spray bottle. I was spraying getting there real good. I had to get my hair real good and then I started to um brush through and Define these curls and my hair. I put a little bit more foam, wrap lotion on them and then I put some um wetline extreme gel to like Define them and keep them defined. So they didn't frizz up, because the foam wrap lotion works by itself, but the wetline extreme gel is what help it like, not frizz too much really like the brush. Y'All like I will never go back to a different brush. Okay, y'all hear me say it out loud, but that pattern Beauty brush by uh by Miss Tracy. It'S Tracy Ellis Ross, yeah, that's the truth. Okay, that's the real truth. Okay, so I styled it fixed my part. I went and tried to diffuse it um. I diffused it on cold. Well, I ain't got no diffuser, so I didn't blow dry it, but I did cold and um like the first heat setting so like I guess more y'all know what I'm talking about God, damn it um so yeah. You know at this point I'm trying to play around with it, I'm feeling it I'm setting potential um. It just needs some fine tuning. Okay, so I really do want to cut a lot of this. I want to cut it like, especially like this back part right here, like I'm gon na cut it I'm kind of nervous to cut it. I think I'm gon na wait until it's like all the way dry, because right now it's about 65 drop. No, I'm gon na cut all these just like it, so my camera died but um. This is absolutely giving um. I love this so much. It'S still a little bit too long right here. I got like that. Little hair cutting tool, but I just kind of want some scissors just to go ahead and just snip it. So I had some scissors, but I don't know where they are um, I'm trying to think about it. Real quick, if I was so scissors or without you foreign, all I could find was these um. I think these are fabric scissors. Oh, don't judge me, I don't know where they are. I literally just bought a pair of scissors the other day like okay. So I'm just going to, and I think I'm gon na cut it in. Like a you know, you know what do you think like this? Like that, let me see foreign, let me tell you something one thing about the makeshift girlies we're gon na make it happen. Okay, I don't know about this side. Oh I don't know my horses a little bit. I don't get too excited. I don't need to break your stuff. Okay, so I'm gon na do this right here. Don'T like this pin this here. I thought I got a little curl back here. That'S just it's the blind cut for me and then I do. This side is shorter, foreign, okay, all right y'all! Let'S see, I think it's gorgeous um, I'm not gon na hold you like yeah. I can prepare to be sick of me like girl. I feel like my old self again. This is probably about 75 85 dry um. It'S still like a few pieces back here that aren't dry, yet you can kind of see them like kind of heavy places that I put like a lot of gel and stuff on, but y'all e. Let me take a picture. Oh my goodness. The back probably needs some cutting like this way, but I can't cut it okay, so I finished cutting it. Let it I was gon na. Let it dry, I ended up having to chop a lot more of it off, but after I shaped it um. This is how it came out like what quite like the back still a little bit flat, but like it's, it's good for, like a you know what I'm saying for me to do this by myself, like I did a great job, um, yes um!
