The Worst Ends Ever | Diy Blow Dry, Straighten, & Cut On My Silk Press Natural Hair

Hey guys, what's up it's your asashi e welcome back to my channel. So, as you guys know, it is silk press season. So in today's video I am going to be blow drying straightening and doing a trim, maybe a cut on my natural hair. So as far as, what's going on with my hair right now, you guys I shampooed and conditioned, and then I went in with the shea moisture, Jamaican black, castor oil, strengthen and restore treatment mask, and I had that sit for just a little bit and then I Rinsed that out, so this is my hair. It is divided in sections, so I'm gon na get right into it with the blow drying before I blow dry. What I'm going to add to my hair is I'm going to add this icy Fantasia hair polisher Heat Protector. This is a straightening spray. I'Ve used this a ton you guys, so you guys have seen this before and then did you guys watch. My video on my natural hair is waterproof. This is what I use in it, and it actually really did a good job with um humidity frizz. All of the above, I actually sprayed water on my hair and it didn't frizz up too too bad. So I'm gon na go in with this Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural spray. So I'm going to add this next and then I'm gon na go in with my cheese, silk infusion. You guys should have seen this already as well. This is just to give me a really silky look and a nice shine. So let me show you guys how my hair looks so this is my hair there's no leave-in or oils in my hair, when I flat iron, my hair, I don't like to put a ton of products in it, just so that it'll be nice and flowy and Not weighed down, you can put a leave-in in your hair if you want to, but I don't want to for mine. So this is how we look so I'm going to go in with a little bit of the Heat Protector and work that in then I'm going with the color wow. So this actually gets activated by the blow dryer foreign, with a little bit of the cheese. Still confusion just a little bit for each section, and then this is the blow dryer that I'll be using. This is the kiss 875 Pro tourmaline ceramic blow dryer, and I'm going to be using this comb attachment alright guys. So now I am all done with the blow drying process. So now it is time for me to flat iron, my hair, so I'm just going to go ahead and section my hair off. So I have my hair five sections, one two, three four and five and then y'all I did buy a new tool, so I purchased this babyless Pro a new flat iron. This is the nano titanium Prima 3100 um. Let'S see how this goes. As you guys know. I had the BaByliss Pro um, Titanium flat iron. I had that one since, like 2016., I ended up giving it to my mom, so I needed a new one, so I got this one so far, um. Based on what I read I like what I see. I trust the company, the other one - has lasted me for years, so I know it's a good investment. The only thing I don't like so far or from what I've seen is that from the temperature settings it goes from 300 to 340 to 380, then from 410. It makes it jump to 465, which I don't like. I would have appreciated something in between the 410 and the 465.. I can't imagine anyone using 465 degrees to straighten their hair, like I just feel like that's too excessive and that's way too much, but I'm going to be using this on 410 and let's see how that goes. So I'm going to use the chase method, I'm going to be using this fine tooth comb, and I might go between these two depending on how thick or how coarse my hair feels, depending on the section. Oh, it's hot dang y'all think it's super close to the roots. Okay, one down this little part of my nape is at my armpit. So let's continue y'all. It gets super duper close to the roots and I will say the flat iron that I had previously by this company. It didn't get super close to the roots, so wow you got to be careful or you'll burn yourself with this one, and I am going very slow so that I don't have to do multiple passes. So it does have a lock mechanism on the side and every time I slide this down my hair, my finger automatically locks it so as you guys can see it's locked and then, if you push it up, it opens up foreign guys. I'M done straightening my hair as far as the splattering, you guys, I don't like it. I don't like it at all, so I guess I'm gon na be on the hunt for another flat iron or I might get the one that I gave my mom again, because that one worked extremely well um. I will say I don't feel like this got my hair as Sleek as I'm used to my hair getting, but the other one, and I wanted to kind of up the temperature, but the only other temperature that was higher than 410 was 465 on this flat iron. So I didn't really like that as far as the construction - it's very pretty, but when you're flat ironing your hair, it gets really hot. So right here is super hot. It'S still very hot right here is hot, so you literally cannot touch any area up here or you're gon na get burned. Also, when I was flat ironing my hair, they have this little tool right here to lock the iron and y'all, like I literally, was blocking the Iron by accident, with every pass that I made so that was super duper annoying, but yeah y'all. This isn't as great as I thought it was gon na be um, so yeah. I think I don't know what I'm gon na do with this, but yeah it's not as great. I wouldn't suggest for y'all to get this um. I would suggest if y'all are gon na, get like a flat iron from this company to get the previous one. I think that one works a lot better. The one that I had in my previous press videos yeah this one ain't it okay at all, so um yeah. Now I'm gon na trim my hair and then probably put some curls in it and that'll be that foreign um. I am so happy with the cut. I know y'all are like sash. Why are you cutting your hair, but trust me? I needed to do it, I'm happy. I did it and I feel kind of liberated. I feel really good yeah. I think I'm good with how that looks. Um it's the body for me y'all. Sometimes all you need is a good good haircut, so yeah um. I wanted to cut my hair um. I wanted to cut my hair. I just wanted it to be a shorter length completely, even, and I think I may go on a regrow hair Journey, but we'll see all right guys. So, even though I just did my cut, I still wanted to go in with my split Ender Pro just to make sure I didn't miss any split ends. This Thing Really Works. You guys I'll link it above in the I card, so that you guys can see my review on it. So then I decided to just go ahead and add some pearls just to give me some more body. I think the flat iron was on like 350 or 385. It was in the 300s and yeah I'm just curling my hair right now and then I am going to just wrap my hair and then I'm gon na. Have it just sit for a few minutes. I think about 30 minutes. While I do my makeup and yeah, you guys will see how thick it is in a little bit. Thank you all right guys, so I am back um. So let me go ahead and unwrap my hair foreign. It'S the body for me. Y'All all right guys, so this is the final look. It'S definitely given body y'all, it's so much body like, I don't think I've ever seen my hair. Looking this thick ever like back in my relaxer days, my hair looked really like fine and thin.
