Hey everyone. It'S Ariel welcome. Welcome back to my channel and today I want to try to get a really nice and smooth blowout. I'Ve done a bunch of blowouts in the past and I feel like they always turn out okay, but I always have like a little bit of frizz. It'S never like, quite as smooth as I want it to be. So today, I'm combining all of my new and old favorites products and tools that are all really good for smoothing, preventing, frizz and adding shine to help me get that nice smooth, silky, perfect blowout. You know what I'm saying so I did already wash my hair, which is why I have this t-shirt on my head right now, but of course, we always have to start a style off with freshly washed hair. So I shampooed and conditioned my hair with this Odell smoothing set. This was my first time using this set, but it says right on the front of the bottle that it's for extra moisture, first control and shine, and it says even more on the back about smoothing flyaways, preventing damage and improving manageability, all things that are hoping to Help me get a nice smooth, blowout foreign, so now that my hair is freshly shampooed conditioned and ready to be styled. Take this down. It feels really good. So far it feels really soft, really like lightweight, which is going to be really perfect for a blowout. I'M happy so far I feel like the smoothing set, did a good job so from here I'm just going to use some leave-in conditioner. It'S always the first product that I use. I love this stuff at Jackie's quench leave-in conditioner. I don't want to use too much because I don't want to like weigh my hair down, but I'm just putting a little bit in to make sure that I have good amount of moisture in my hair. I just find that this product is like the perfect base product. You know starts my hair off right and then really excited for these next two. These are the olaplex six and seven. I just did a video with these two products. If you haven't seen I'll link it here, but the number six leave-in styling treatment, it says, adds moisture, strengthens and reduces sprays for up to 72 hours crazy. I have to use the number six literally made for a blowout and then the number seven bonding oil. I just thought would be good to add a little bit extra shine. It does also stay on here, reduces frizz and flyaways shortens drying time, softens and detangles. So I mean it has a few good benefits. I think will be good for this blowout. So we'll start with number six, I'm just gon na do like a pump and a half of that. I never know like how much of olaplex products to use. I know they're super concentrated, so it's like. I don't want to put too much, but I also know that, like my hair just absorbs product like it's never had any moisture in it ever so I don't know. Hopefully that's enough feels pretty good. I'M just gon na finish it off with a little bonding oil. A couple drops of this okay: that was actually like, eight drops, but it's okay. Okay! So now I'll just get my hair, quick detangle this paddle brush, I have to say my hair - does feel very soft right now and like the shampoo and conditioner is the most important step. So I was a little bit nervous to use a new, shampoo and conditioner. Just because I mean not that this is like a serious style or anything, but you just never know like how your hair is going to take to something I just feel like if I'm gon na put all the work into blowing out my hair, I want it To look good, you know what I'm saying so products are in hair is detangled. It'S looking rather fluffy and big we're gon na smooth it out, I'm going to be using my Revlon one step blow dryer brush. I love this thing. It Smooths out my hair. So good anytime, I want like an extra smooth straight style, I'll always start off with using this. We have to use this today. Let me just section my hair before I go in, and normally I do that low, I feel like more heat might be better today, but I also, I think, I'm just gon na start on low, we'll go from there and with the Revlon one step you guys. I always find that it works the best if you focus on the root area. First, especially if you have natural curls like me, it really helps to focus on that root area like stretching it out, smoothing it out first and then moving to those mids and ends. So you're kind of working your way down, if that makes sense, oh my first piece is done, feels good. It feels maybe it feels maybe like a bit heavier than I wanted to, because I want this to be like very light and Airy. You know like really it's a nice soft bouncy looking blow up, but I mean you can't really tell anything with the small of a piece of hair. So let me just keep going and then once I feel like the mids and ends of this round are kind of like heated through, like I've smoothed them out enough. That'S when I'll start to do a little twist and Pull and twist and Pull, and that's how you get a bit more of that curl a bit more volume it just in my opinion, looks better when you do it that way, at least for the look. I'M going for today, so first, two sections are done, look at them in a volume happening. I don't know if I'm happy with this smooth. What am I trying to say the smoothness that I have? I feel like there's a little bit of frizz still left here and, like I don't know, I feel like we can do better kind of, but maybe it's just these first two sections. Maybe maybe I should bump up the heat um because I'm still using it on low it's just that it's pretty hot on low. I want to fry my hair off. I don't want to like burn my neck. It'S already really hot, so I don't know, but I do feel like no proper blowout would be complete without velcro rollers. So I'm going to use these today. These ones are by Luxy Hair. I will link them in the description Box. Come with these really cute Clips. I'Ve shown them on my channel before so probably seen these, but very cute, set I'm going to take two of the smallest rollers there's three different sizes in here: small, medium and large. So I'm gon na take two of the small ones, because these are pretty small sections and I'm gon na roll them in here. So, starting kind of at the top near my root, smoothing all the way down keeping my fingers on there so that all the hair stays around the roller. Once I get to the end, just kind of Tuck those ends under and roll it up smoothly. All the way to the root, I don't think I'm even gon na need a clip for this one. It'S pretty sturdy. It'S such a small section, there's not much to like fall out of there. I'M just gon na do the same thing on this side. Basically, what the rollers do is just kind of lock everything in so, even though I already have smoothed it all out, and I have I kind of already have that shape and the volume that I want. But this will just help smooth everything even more and help lock in this style even better. So I think it's gon na, be it hopefully. Now, let's move on to another section, all right, I'm taking this section quite a bit bigger than the last one, but I think this is still small enough to where, like I can comfortably fit the Revlon around it. So I'm gon na split this up and smooth it all out again with this again just focusing more on that root. Before I move on to the mids and ends - and I actually spent a little bit more time on the ends of this section just to see if it made any difference for like the little bit of frizz, that I had on the ends of the last section And now that I have this piece done, I'm going to go in with a medium-sized roller and lock that in I'm doing this one, while it's like nice and hot, I feel like the hotter. It is like the sooner you do it once you take it out of that blow dry brush the better. The results are going to be, and I am going to use a clip for this one. There we go we're actually gon na re-wet. This section just a little bit because I think it's a bit too dry a little bit of water should help me stretch it out a little bit more and make sure I'm like thoroughly smoothing out my hair. Okay, I tried to use the high setting for this section and it was so hot. I couldn't even touch my hair after I don't think that's gon na happen again, but um it did help smooth it out a lot better, especially it was this section of my hair is a little bit thicker for some reason, so it did work better, but I Just I just know I'm gon na fry, my hair, if I do it all like that, there's like steam coming off, I mean it's just not worth it now, I'm taking a large roller. Putting this over. This big section section is like kind of too big. I probably should have done it smaller, but it'll be fine. This one in with the clip and then I'm gon na repeat that over here. I think it also helped to Spritz my hair a little bit the water kind of helps like open up my hair cuticle. Again, just to help really make sure I'm getting in there and smoothing it all out, so I'm gon na do that again, I don't want it to be soaking, but just enough water to like reactivate some of those products I put in far so good. Happily done! The hardest thing about a style like this is waiting to see the results. It'S like you don't know. If all the work you're putting in it's gon na be worth it like. It might look terrible, you just don't know, but you hope for the best. So we continue it's so satisfying the way it comes off the brush, it's so smooth! Oh, I like the way that one curled - okay, I'm just gon na speed through this section and I'll, show you guys what I'm doing for the top. Okay guys. I almost forgot to start the camera again, but for this top section I am going to do them all back, so I'm kind of going to blow dry them up and then back. I'M gon na move you guys up, because that will probably so I'm brushing down on my root. First again, I want that root section to be really nice and smooth, and I always want to get that done first, so brushing down on it will make sure that I'm getting all those little bumps and curls out of there and then I'm going in the same Way, I did with all the other strands which is kind of from underneath it this time. I'Ve, since it is the top of my head, I'm pulling it straight up and continuing to pull through it straight up until I feel like I've heated it through thoroughly and then I'll just come down and do that same twirl and twist all the way. Through the end, now I'm grabbing my roller and just putting it in this is a big roller, since it is the very back of my head - and this is a big section - I've seen the same thing guys I'll show you guys what I do for the bangs, Because it'll probably be a little bit different, I have one more section before I get to like the bang part. So let's do that. I'M pulling this next section forward a little bit for two reasons. One is so that I don't disrupt the roller just behind it, because it is kind of a tight space to get into with the big Revlon brush and two, because I want to make sure the top of my head has a lot of volume. And so the further forward, I pull it versus straight up or even down or back the more Bowl, and then I twisted this one to the other side. Just so that when I take the rollers out, especially from this top section, they're, not all curling out the same way, if that makes sense, I think you guys will see what I'm talking about at the end, we're in this big roller in as soon as I Did the last one okay, so last section, which is the bang section now I got ta be honest with you guys. I still haven't perfected. The bang section of my blowouts, some people like to curl them forward. I would say most people curl them back. I still just don't know what works better for me. I think what do I want to do today? Let me think about this. I think I'm kind of feeling the idea of curling them forward today. Normally, I would just curl them back and hope for the best, but I kind of feel like forward is the play today. So that's what I'm gon na do whoa. It feels kind of strange to curl them forward, like I usually curl them back, but maybe this is just the new way to do it. I don't know it feels right guys and look at that. This is my last clip worked out perfectly. Okay, guys, I wasn't planning on doing this, but I think I'm gon na put a little bit of hairspray in there's nothing. I hate more than crunchy hair, so I'm not going to do too much of this, but I really want to lock this style in. I don't think I've ever used hairspray after a roller set blowout before so. Let'S just try it no and we're trying things. Okay, it's a nice light mist. Hopefully it helps to lock in hopefully smooth style, we'll see we'll see so from here, I'm just gon na. Let this sit for, I think about 20 minutes or until I feel like the rollers, are cool and then we'll see what we're working with, but I'm hoping that it's nice and smooth nice and voluminous and not a lot of fruits. That'S a goal here: let's set a timer I'll, be back you guys, all right guys. I just stopped the timer with like a minute and a half left um. My hair feels pretty good. It feels cool all over. So I think I'm ready to take out these rollers. Are you guys ready? Are you ready to see the results? Is it gon na be smooth? We don't know, let's see so I like to always start where I started start where I started. I don't know take out the first roller. I don't know what it is about this bottom section, but it still feels like it has a bit more frizz than I would like still. Okay, I mean that is the bottom section and we're not done after we take these out. We'Re still gon na do a couple more things, so we still have time to work with it. I'M just gon na keep taking these. Oh oops keep forgetting with the clips look at that volume, I'm not sure what to expect with these bangs, but we'll see we'll see um. So these are the immediate results. Definitely some work to be done still here before we go any further. I'M going to take a little bit more of the old PEX bonding oil, putting this all over to add some extra shine in and just help tame any extra flyaways that might still be in there I'm gon na actually brush this move. You guys back down. I feel like this is where you just have to like kind of work with your hair. Okay, guys, I think we're looking pretty good. I don't know if I can really get it to look any better than this yeah. I think I'm gon na call this Good before I like frizz it up completely but um. I have to say it is quite smooth, there's definitely some parts that are more smooth than others like this front. Bang piece is like I mean that looks good. That'S like shiny smooth, it looks great there's some pieces, though like here where there's more frizz and I would hope for so. I think it's kind of mixed this whole top section kind of feels like it it's just kind of laying there. I would definitely be able to fix that up with a flat iron if I just quickly went in there and like smoothed it out, but I kind of wanted this to be just a blow up. So I'm not really taking that into account, but yeah same thing with this side like this top layer is just kind of flat, it's kind of frizzy. It doesn't look great, but um. Overall, I think it looks pretty good. I think the shampoo and conditioner definitely put me on the right track. To start with, gave me a pretty good, pretty smooth base to work with. I actually feel like I've gotten better results with the Revlon brush before, like I don't know if my hair was just too dry this whole time or sure what exactly it was honestly um. That was different, not that I really have like a sep law routine, but just other things. I'Ve done in the past, because I do feel like I've gotten slightly better results with the brush in terms of like frizziness and just how smooth and flat it looks. But I mean I'm still happy with this. I feel like it looks pretty good considering this is just with a blow dry brush, I'm not using any flat iron or curling iron, or anything like that to like really get it smoothed out, because I still want kind of that volume that soft blowout. So I like this, it's not perfect, but um. I feel like all the products did what they were supposed to do and I think, if I maybe just like tweak a couple things, maybe try like doing smaller sections at the back here. Maybe that would help with these top kind of side sections being a little bit flat. I'M definitely not mad at it, I'm not mad at it, there's so much volume in my hair right now. It'S crazy, and I mean it's pretty smooth. It is pretty darn smooth. Considering I have natural curly hair, guys that is like chronically dry and Frizzy. This is not bad, so I hope you guys enjoyed the video if you did make sure to give it a thumbs up. Also comment down below. Let me know what you think: how how did it turn out?
