3 Quick Beach Vacation Hairstyles For Natural Hair

Hey you guys, okay, I'm back with another tutorial today, I'm going to show you guys how I achieve three really cute looks and I'm going to call them three vacation ready, hairstyles. So a little background. Typically, my husband and I like to go to the Caribbean like once a year, we usually go around our anniversary to celebrate our anniversary and I always struggle with the hair like what do I do with it? Do I wear it out natural um. Do i twist it up, do I believe in it like what to do with the hair and over the years I've learned that I want to do what's the easiest, because when I'm on vacation, I don't feel like spending a ton of time getting my hair ready, But on the same knot I still want to look cute right, so I came up with just a couple really simple: hairstyles they're all going to be done on basically wash and go hairstyles I'll show you the pics on what it looked like on vacation and then I'M going to show you how I achieve these looks: they're really simple, they're going to be like quick, five-minute, hairstyles, I'm also going to in a separate video, I'm also going to post how I prep my hair for the pool in the beach, as well as how I do a quick cleansing of that. Like I said when I'm on vacation, I really everyday I'm getting my hair wet, I'm in the pool, I'm in the beach, I'm in some sort of water that usually has the damaging effects on my hair. So I come up with the quick ways to maintain it as well as quick, cute ways to style style it. So again, I'm going to show you three really cute quick ways to style: it's not going to be done on wet wash and go type hair. So, let's get right to it: okay, for the first style, I'm going to call it top bun. If I had to give it a name, that's what I'm going to call it and here's a few pictures of what the actual style look like, and this is just me chilling on the resort, and this is how we get to it. Okay, so I always use my wash method up with my kinky curly product, so check that out video out, if you haven't seen it all link it in the bottom, so my hair is um wet and again it's usually in the washing go method. I usually style. My hair, right after I shower for the for the day after being in the pool, so what I'm doing now is I am separating my hair, I'm getting a little bit of hair going across the front of the head, so I'm not going all the way from One year to the next year, but I am going at the top Nate and I'm just kidding, I would say, would be about an inch and a half and I'm not doing anything. Fancy I'm not using a comb, I'm just separating with my fingers and I'm just grabbing that hair just to get a little bit of the hair to get that top bun look! So once I do that, I'm gon na grab me a ponytail holder and a soft bristled brush, and I'm just going to use my bristle brush brush to gently smooth the hair up, putting it into the ponytail. So it's really really simple again. These are five-minute quick hairstyles, so I'm getting this and I'm going to put it into a very, very neat, ponytail, just kind of wrap it in a ponytail holder around a few times from there. I am just going to take up the ponytail and I'm just going to put it in one big, two strand twist, so I'm putting in a one huge tooth with two strand twists, just wrapping it all the way to the end and from there I'm going to Take that twist and I am going to put a bobby pin in there - and that is basically it I'm doing this lifetime. I am NOT doing this video I'll fast forward, because I want you to see how quick these Styles work so from there. I just give it a good shake, make sure the product is evenly distributed through the hair and I let it dry and I'm ready for the night. I usually take some sort of scarf, maybe and tie it over the hair. While I'm doing my makeup and finish getting dressed so a lot of the edges to be really really smooth, but that's it so that's style number one: let's move to style number, two, okay for style number! Two! I call this the top Tony puff. These are a few pictures of what it looked like when I was out of town and just a real, simple, easy style, but just kind of gives you a little cute look and now, let's get to it again, always starting out on wash and go hair. And now I'm going to show you how I achieve this look so for this look. I basically take my hair and party into two sections going down the center of the hair. Again, no utensils, you know when you're out of town you try to pack light. So all I'm going to be packing is my fingers, basically I'm not using any combs for that this style, and then I got a ponytail holder, I'm just going to grab a little hair just to move that out of the way and I'm taking my soft bristle Brush I did bring that and I am just gently smoothy, my hair into a ponytail, but I'm pushing it towards the center of the hair. You could kind of tell it's going to be towards the center of the head and I'm just gently smoothing it over. I'M not like raking over my hair, just gently, smoothing that into a nice little ponytail going towards the center of the head, so you have a lot of hair out in the front. I mean here push back in the front and I'm just putting this into a a tight ponytail. So a gentle tight ponytail, I'm not looping it too tight, because I don't want to pull my hair, so I'm putting in a ponytail and then I just remove that back section, and that is basically it it's so easy. So easy I got so many compliments on this look. So that's it! Let'S move on to the next style! Okay! So if I have to give this one a name, I'm going to call it the flat twisted form one, and you know why, because you can achieve four in one look, so here's a picture on me on vacation now, let's get to high Divis. So again I told you guys there's going to be a four in one look, so I'm going to use a rat tail. Yes, you guys. I brought a rat tail and I am just going to part my hair in the front. I would say it would be about two inches from the front of the hair, so I'm going to part the hair going from one year to the next, getting that hair and then making sure I get any hair out of the way. So it doesn't have to be really neat, but I want it to be more neat than just using my fingers. So I'm parting that here from one end to the next and Tukey the flat twisted look. So you have to know how to flat twist, to achieve this. Look, if you don't know how I you can look it up on YouTube, or perhaps I let me know and I'll do a tutorial on it later so get that hair out of the way, and you basically just want to give the hair a good finger. Detangling. Just because, when you're twisting the hair, you don't want to get any snags and you don't want to have to restart over again. This is the supposed to be quick style, so nope anybody got time for that. So now what you're going to do is you're going to flat twist. This is going to be a flatulence in order to achieve that, you want to take a good amount of hair when you start this list, so I'm taking that hair and I'm with twisting it in the front of the hair. So you want it to be across the edges of the head, so you want to not pull it back, but you want the twist to be in the edges of the hair to give it that nice flat twisted. Look that I'm it's trying to achieve. So I'm doing this in a loose twist, I'm not doing it really tight and again I want a chunky look, so I'm twisting it from one ear to the next and again remembering to push that twist to the front of the head grabbing those edges and then, When you're done with that, you want to go all the way to the end, just in a normal two strand twist low once you are done with the switch you release it and you see the Swiss automatically puff up. I love that look. It kind of gives like a headband type look, so I call this the form one because you can freakin wear this style for in one way, so you have the twist. The first one is - and I said three, but it's actually four so the first one you want to just take that bobby, pin and just pull that twist out of the way - and you can just wear it just like this, so you can wear it. Basically, on a wash and go and then you have a headband look, the second style would be to wear this in the high puff and that's the picture you saw earlier. So I'm taking the bobby pin out of the hair, I'm putting my head over just to get a nice little high, puffed, look and I'm just taking that ponytail holder and I'm wrapping it just once over the hair, because I like a fluffy puff and if I Wrap it too tight, it's more of a ponytail, not a puff. So now, if you want a really really neat, look: here's the third style! You can take this and put it into a bun. I simply take that puff and I wrap it under the hair and I use another ponytail holder and I just use that ponytail holder so to actually secure the puff. This puff will last that way, but if you want to secure with bobby pins feel free. So that's the third look, and that is a nice little bun clean. Look now, one more style. I have for you just using the same technique for this look. What you can do is you can take the hair and you can put it in the back and have a nice little ponytail all up towards the back of the hair. This just gives it again just a different look. These styles are so fun and easy and again you want different, looks in your pictures when you're on vacation. But again you want to save time. So here's the quick, easy styles, so you put that in a ponytail and that's it you achieve that. Look again. That'S it so enjoy your vacation and don't worry about your hair.
