Hi guys welcome back to my channel so today we're going to be doing a hair tutorial. Finally, i'm going to say her tutorial, i mean a protective style tutorial guys. I can't remember the last time i posted one of these and it's been quite a while. So i'm going to show you how i do some chunky twists with added hair, and i'm doing this straight on my freshly washed hair. My hair is also a little damp, but that is not going to be a problem for this style. I'M going to be using two products from omaze beauty: the first is their cheby hair butter and the second is their don't, be bald: hair growth, oil, the extensions i'm going to be using are from darling nigeria, i'm going to be using the black color today, because It'S the color. They have that closely matches the color of my hair, my hair isn't pure black. By the way my hair is about color too in terms of hair extensions, but they have only black and so i'm going to be using black today. So this is what the extensions look like. They come in sort of section pieces, so you don't need to struggle to part the hair. That'S the extensions. You can simply detach one section or one piece of section and go ahead and use it. However, you please so before i use my extensions, i like to apply some sort of cream to them. I like to make sure that, whatever cream i use on my hair, i use my extensions as well, because these extensions, when they come in, they are packs. They are typically very, very dry, and so you need to moisturize them and also cream them before you use them on your hair. I moisturize my extensions, especially these kinky ones, using water and a bit of oil, which i did when i first took them out of the pack for my first use. So here i'm going to simply take down my braided section. My hair is already sectioned, as you can see, and i did not bother to unravel all of my braids and start sectioning, my hair from the top. Instead, i took them down one by one, and then i installed my extensions and twisted my hair before proceeding to the next. So the next thing you can see me do is oil, my skull and oiling your scalp helps to prevent the dry scalp. It helps to prevent dandruff, it helps to prevent itchiness, and it also helps to prevent any form of dryness that could come from using your extensions, so oil, your extensions and also oil, your scalp and your hair and gently massage your hair. Before you proceed to install your hairstyle now for this part of the video i'm going to be explaining two processes by which you can add your extensions to your hair and proceed to twist, especially for these chunky twist style. So i'm going to place my extensions between two sections of hair, which i have divided from the first major section, and then i'm going to gently twist one section over the other using my hair to hide the knot at the base of the extensions. So, as you can see here, the extensions of my roots are barely visible, and that is how your hairstyle should come out by the time. You'Re done. So this one is a little tricky if you look closely and when i release this section of hair you're, going to see that the base of my hair, that my roots is a little puffed up, which is where the second technique for installation comes in. So because this style is chunky, the base is not really tight and you don't want your base to be really tight to prevent snagging and unnecessary friction. So this is the second installation option, that's available to you guys and which i used it's the rubber band method. So i simply placed my extension between two sections of hair, which make up the major section, and then i used a small black elastic band or rubber band to secure the two sections of my own hair, which i parted to place. The extensions between and these rubber bands are actually dipped in oil to prevent friction and snagging. So before you use rubber bands go ahead and dip them in a little oil for the purposes which i mentioned. So i'm simply going to secure my own hair over the extensions and then i'm going to pull on them a little to make them a little more secure. Before i proceed to twist my hair with the extensions one over the other. So once you do this, make sure that your extensions are of equal length. You don't want to be twisting your hair and have one side of the extension longer than the other, and we're done with the first section when you're done. You should have something that looks like this. I'M not going to proceed to finish up the rest of my hair and then i'll be back to show you guys what the entire thing looks like guys. The aim of this hairstyle is to protect your hair temporarily. It does not have a long lifespan at all. I wear it for about a week and i typically wear my protective styles for a week because i wash my hair every single week. So i'm going to go ahead and repeat the steps for all of my sections and then i'll be done before you know it. Also, don't forget to tuck your hair into your extensions for a more natural look. You don't want your hair sticking out at all angles like it typically does. If you don't talk in properly, do oh - and i am done with all of my sections - i'm going to go ahead and beautify my hair a little bit using some accessories. This is one of the easiest hairstyles you can do. It doesn't waste time at all and it lasts just well and protects your hair just as well, and that's about it for this video guys. Thank you so much for watching this. One was one that you guys on youtube said that i should put up a tutorial for, and i hope you enjoy it as much as i did making it.
