Today, I'm gon na be doing a hitless overnight, curls hair tutorial for long thin hair. A couple years ago I started doing heatless hairstyles because I was trying to grow my hair out, so I wanted to stop using heat products. I also wanted to have it healthier. All together and he products really don't help. I watched a lot of different YouTube videos and a lot of the methods that the girls used. The videos I watched, didn't work for me. They had thicker hair than I do since my hair is so thin. I have to do it a different way. I love curling, my hair, but I hate the damage that a hot iron does. So I started doing this and it's my favorite thing to do now. You might want to style your hair a little bit in the morning with some texturize spray or some volumizing spray. I like to put some oil in my hair and the curls, and I also like to use a straightener a little bit to flatten down the edges and just make sure everything looks smooth and pretty first thing you'll want to do is you'll want to wash your Hair after you wash your hair you're gon na want it to dry about 75 to 50 % of the way. Then I will part my hair and I'll wrap it up, and then you just go to bed and in the morning all you have to do is undo them. So it's really easy and I'd like to do it. When I know I have school, so I can take a shower the night before I can wash my hair. I can twist it up. I go to bed when I wake up. All I do is I take it out and I style it coz, it's a little flat on top because you're sleeping on it all night, so it's not gon na have a lot of volume. So you've got to add that back into it, I'm gon na show you step by step process of how I do this and then afterwards, I'm gon na show you just an easy everybody come in to say, hi, say hi, don't mind my dogs I'll come and Go as they please, they always do. I'M gon na show you step by step process of what I do and then I'm gon na style it how I usually style to just show you one way that you can wear this one. If you want to see how I get these heatless overnight, curls and just keep watching first thing - I did was take a shower and then you're gon na want to let your hair dry about fifty to seventy-five percent of the way. So I'm gon na go ahead and put in some leave-in conditioner. This is a kind of Museum right now it's from boxycharm, and so I'm gon na put that through my hair and then what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na brush my hair out? I'M gon na want to get all of the knots out of my hair, so this takes me a little bit of time, so I cut that out. Didn'T what you're gon na want to do is they're gon na want to part your hair you're gon na want to put it into pigtails, but instead of doing a straight line in the back, I like to do a zigzag, it's kind of messy and it doesn't Look very pretty, but that's okay, because nobody's gon na see it. If you leave a straight line, then you'll have a harsh line in the morning. So now I'm twisting this side and I'm making sure to twist it away from my face and I'm gon na wrap. It around itself and make a button, sometimes I'll joke around and call these my Princess, Leia buttons and then you'll want to get your hair tie. You'Ll want a pretty nice hair tie. I have a really small one right now. I couldn't find two bigger ones. So there are little tight, so it's a little hard for me to put on, but they were very snug and stayed in perfectly throughout the night, so that was nice and then, as you can see again on this side, I'm gon na curl it away from my Face and then, when you twist it up, you're gon na want to twist it that way as well. You want to do this because the curls look really pretty and accentuate your face more when they are curling away compared to towards your face. Okay, if you have a couple pieces of hair that stick out, I do all the time and you just reach with it. It'S fine and you want to make sure that they're, tight and secure, and as long as they're in there good you want to go ahead and just go to bed. So I will see you in the morning. This is me in the morning before I did anything with my hair. So then I made some coffee and I made breakfast and then I came into the bathroom to pull my hair down. So you'll want to pull your hair down for a couple hours. If you can leave it down and twist it while you get dressed, do your makeup do stuff around the house and then you can come back and finish your hair up. You want to do this because, as you can see, when I take them out that my hair is kind of kinked and not straight so you want to twist them out and you want to make sure that they're strained. So you want to just smooth them down and then, as you do, your makeup, while you have them down you're gon na, want to make sure you keep twisting them. So I put some of me doing my makeup in here to show you how I twist them, while I'm doing my makeup, to keep them a nice tight curl, but also so they can dry, I decided to take them out. It had been about an hour. I didn't leave them down long enough, as you can see that sides a little wet, it's okay, the curls still look beautiful and they still lasted throughout the day, just fine. So then I usually put in oil. This is just how I style my hair for an everyday look. It'S quick and it's easy, so I'll run the oil through my hair on the ends. This will get the frizz out. This will make it look really smooth and shiny. I like to make sure that I get all of the hair separated and individual curls, and then I like to go in and straighten the top to just smooth everything down. So there's no bumps and lumps that way. It doesn't look like you just rolled out of bed. This is definitely not a necessary step. You could get away without doing this. I have definitely on occasion left my hair twisted until I got to where I was going, I like to add some volumizing spray. You can do this to give a little bit more lift back into the top. So you look like you have a little bit more volume. I don't use hairspray. So if you like to use hairspray, you could go ahead and use it here. But for me this is my final step. I really like it. It turned out really pretty, and this is what it looks like when it's all done. So I hope you guys like it too. I took a couple photos to just show what it looks like the curls are really durable. I really wanted to show you guys how well the curls lost in they're so durable that I went ahead and at the end of the day I took a couple pictures for you guys. So this is, at the end of the day, a good six hours of the curls being in, and they still look beautiful. Thank you so much for watching.
