Hello and welcome to the channel so hi hello, welcome to the channel. Today i'm trying the sock curling no heat extravagant edit. Just wait till you see the results anyway, um. That'S it. Hi welcome, um, here's! Here'S! Here'S! The video i've been wanting to do this for a long time and i actually really wanted to try the robe tie curls, because i was seeing them all over tick tock and i was like what that looks. Amazing. My cat is drinking water right now, because he's gon na do the video go ahead. Show them how to do it. Are you gon na show them how to do it? I was searching for rope ties everywhere and i realized that i would have to buy an entire robe in order to get a rope tie and i was like i don't have a robe. I realize that the sock, curl method is essentially the exact same thing, and if it's not the same thing, let me know sock curl method. Essentially, you put a sock on your head. You wrap your hair around it in a certain way in a certain way, which i have watched like thousands of videos on how to do this, and all these girls, all over tik, tok they're. All doing this and their hair looks so good. I'Ve watched so many different people with so many different types of hair textures, and they all look amazing. So as long as you do it right, i think that this can work really well for just about any hair texture. I tied two like knee-high socks together because i have fairly long hair. What i did is i washed my hair and i let it air dry, no heat sock method. Let'S do it. I really hope that i do this right, because i really want this to work. In my previous video i tried the heatless blowout method and it is kind of a similar method to this in the fact that, like you're wrapping your hair around something and then you let it sit overnight. But this was like on top of your head and you had to like wrap it around on top of your head and i feel, like this method is easier and maybe not as like stressful on your hair. I'M gon na put this on top of your head and then you're supposed to secure it. The majority of people mentioned that, although your hair is supposed to be dry, that it is helpful if your hair is a little bit damp sure what are you doing? I brush through my hair. It'S massive here are some throwbacks, it's kind of like a french braiding method. I don't even know how to french braid. So don't come for me, the top portion of your hair. Like this, i have layers um and you wrap it around. Watch other way around see that that was way more difficult than i thought it was going to be. Okay, then the next part do it again around the sock always bring the sock back to the middle. I definitely think that this is something that, like you, have to practice a bit. You take the opening of the sock. You loop it around your hair like that, and then you just tie it around like that, and then you got a little a little braid. I don't know how well you can see this but um. It'S kind of cute, i'm gon na turn the camera off for a second and do this in the mirror, because i think that this would be way easier for me to do in the mirror. I feel like i might have started to braid it on the end, but i'm i'm really not sure. I hope that these curls are tight enough. I really did try to make them as tight as it could. It was not as easy as i was hoping. It was going to be so i'm sure that, like after doing it more, you become more acclimated to like where your fingers need to go and like how you need to do it. Maybe if you already know how to french braid, then it would be super easy. Anyway, now i get to go to bed, so i'm very excited to do that. I am going the frick to sleep and i will see you guys tomorrow, hello welcome. It is the next day - and i am so excited to take this out of my head, not because it's painful, because it's not so first things. First, was it easy to sleep on? Yes? Was it comfortable? Yes, honestly, i didn't have any issues. In fact, if you put them very close to your face, they can double as a pretty good pillow. I actually left them hanging down in front of my face while i was sleeping, but this morning i had to do some work and i didn't want them like flopping around in my face yeah, i didn't want them flopping around at my face. I do feel like this side is way looser, like maybe i slept on this side a little bit more than this side, so i'm just gon na take off the scrunchies. I know that there's like a way that people online are doing this. That, like makes it okay that makes it like look really like smooth like whenever they take their hair out of it. But i don't know i don't know. Okay, i said i watched thousands of videos. I probably only watched hundreds, okay, i'm no expert here all right. Oh, my god, oh my god remember. I did not use any heat and i have thick frizzy, coarse, hair. My whole life. I was born with a full head of hair. I have very frizzy - oh my god. Oh my god! Oh my god, look at it! Ah, i'm gon na cry. This one was way tighter and this one was way looser and honestly. At this point i am liking this side better um this side - oh my god, there's so many curls okay hold on hold on. Hopefully i can loosen them up a little bit, because this is a lot. First, look lots of curls. This is the right side. I am obsessed with this side, so i didn't do it evenly, and that is 100, my fault, but um, something that i've been seeing on like pretty much all the videos is that people are then like flipping their hair over loosening up the curls without brushing through Them or anything, but i guess i can show you a good like if you make them as tight as i did, then it's gon na look like this and if you make them as loose as i did on this side, then it's gon na look like this. This is the best. This is the best thing ever i i am so shocked with how good my hair looks and feels like it's soft. It doesn't look frizzy. I would say that this side obviously has a little bit more volume. So, if you're into like the big curly hair, like tighter tighter, is the way to go, it looks so good. It'S not frizzy, it's crazy to me that it's not frizzy and it feels smooth and soft. If you see me at night, there will be socks in my hair, okay, just a forewarning friend friend. If i have socks on my head, just keep walking. This is actually like kind of similar to like how i would typically style my hair with heat, as i like, like the big voluptuous waves, i don't like having straight hair, because my hair isn't naturally straight so, i feel, like my hair - is kind of like too Thick that makes sense like it's really thick and it's big. So when it's straightened i feel like it just doesn't look right, so i like having curly hair, but my natural curly hair, slash wavy, hair, we're still working on okay. So this is a good way to style your hair with no damage no heat, you do it overnight. It'S super simple! I have no more words. I honestly, i am so so happy with the how that turned out. I just i'm shocked, i'm absolutely shocked this honestly exceeded my expectations. I knew like watching people's videos of them doing this, that you know, like their hair, looks amazing and beautiful, and it always looks good being somebody that has like frizzy hair and i struggle with my hair and thick hair and coarse hair and wavy slash curly. So she's just kind of all over the place like it's really hard for me to like ever, determine like if something's going to work for my hair, and i feel like that's something that a lot of people struggle with and a lot of people have to like Deal with in life, so if you have hair that is like mine and you want a way to style your hair curly with no heat. This is my new recommendation. 100. Anyway. I appreciate you guys, thank you guys so much for watching this video. If you enjoyed the video, don't forget to give me a good old thumbs up and subscribe to my channel, if you haven't already, i'm really excited to share some new things with you guys. I appreciate you guys. I hope that you guys have an amazing day. I love you so much and i'll see you guys in the next video you

erica m: Looks amazing!! I wanna say my hair is literally exactly like yours, as in identical, and I just started ditching all glycerin/humectants and also “sealing” my hair when it’s wet over leave in(curls blueberry bliss), with two peas of emulsified Mielle Pomade to Oil (my hairs long and that stuff is thick), a bit of gel (I use Biosilk Rock Hard emulsified with water), air drying 80% then doing this method. Dude. My rough, NOT shiny, coarse, frizzy, thick, huge hair stays like your right side for 5 days. It doesn’t even look like my hair. Glossy, smooth, big waves. I really understand your struggle!

Farrah Chacon: Thank you soooo much for making this video!! Sooooo helping me with my hair! It’s a very similar texture. Lol lots of frizz! And your hair looks sooo amazingly gorgeous after this video!! I’m trying this ASAP and soooo glad my long socks that didn’t fit me super well (I was gonna donate to goodwill) didn’t get donated yet! ❤️ Thank you!!

Dan Dotson: Never thought it would turn out so well!

Kristy Brown: Did you use product on your hair when you did this? It looks beautiful! Congrats on figuring out methods on how to take hair like ours. It’s much appreciated.

Jamie Lynn: Thank you for this! Can't wait to try it!

Pandax World: It looks good!!!

Gp: I just tried this trend and was disappointed because the sock thingy couldn't hold the volume of my hair so i ended up on your channel.i guess I will try again, cause I wasn't braiding it just coiling it around. Also thank you for experimenting for our type of hair.... it is really so difficult to manage, and there is so little that helps

Diana Castillo: What material were the socks that you used??

Chloe Price: this video changed my life tbh

Silo Studios: We legit have same hair dude
