In today's video, I'll finally be showing you guys how to get my go-to heatless waves. I try my best to avoid using heat on my hair as much as possible, and since I have naturally frizzy, unruly hair, this has been the only heatless style that has really worked for me. I also included how I touch-up the waves with my curling wand if I want the style to be more polished. Hope you found this video helpful!

Hi guys welcome back to my channel, so today's video is a really exciting one, because I'm finally going to be sharing with you. How I achieve my heatless waves or the first part of this video is going to be all about that. It'S at the end of the video. I also will be sharing how I add a few extra curls in my hair. Just for the nights where I want to be a little bit more done up. I also share that so, if you're interested to see them, please keep on watching. So the first thing I do after I wash my hair is actually wrap my hair in this little head towel and I'll just let it sit for like 30 minutes when I start to work on my hair, it's not fully soaked, it's just damn. It'S a little wet, but it's not like dripping in water. So the first thing I like to use is my Iggy suit honey, infused, hair oil and I'll just use a few drops of it work it through my fingers start at the bottom and work my way up. So this will just help make your hair look. Super shiny and really healthy, but after I work that through my hair, I like to go in with the way wave spray and I'm almost done with this bottle, but I like to focus this mostly on the bottom portion of my hair. This will really help my waves look more uniform and come together since I do have color treated hair. My natural wave texture is basically all gone. If I don't use this, when I do this hairstyle, I can tell a huge difference. So all of the products that I'm gon na be showing you guys for this hair look, I actually feel like they make a difference. So after I do that, I like to just make sure there are no crazy knots in my hair and now, for this part, you guys will see I'm definitely no expert in braiding, my hair. So, just about these three sections - and then I start braiding, my hair and as I'm moving down like this piece, is pretty thin, so I'm grabbing more hair and just working my way down and every time I break my hair. I just grab a little bit more hair and this will kind of create that look of your hair. I think it's called a French braid, I'm not sure I don't really know the terms. I don't even know if that's what I'm doing right now, but this is basically what I do when I braid my hair and when I get closer to the end, I don't braid it as tight, as I did at the top, because the ends of my hair Are thinner since I have layers it kind of gets thinner as it goes down, because if I do it too tight when I undo it, they just kind of look weird. This part will look good, but then this part will look way too tight the once. That'S done, I just grab a clear elastic, and this is what I was talking about. It'S kind of like stuck to my head. The braid isn't just like swinging around at the top. I hope I'm making sense, but now I'm just gon na repeat the same thing to this side and grab three sections and start braiding for this look. It really doesn't need to be perfect or uniform as long as you're braiding your hair. I think that's all that matters, so that's basically it for the first part I like to actually sleep with this hairstyle and when I wake up in the morning, my hair is completely dry and then I will check back in with you guys to finish off the Look okay, so it's the next day now and my braids are fully dry. I just slept with them so now I'm gon na undo the braids. So this is what my hair looks like when I take out the braids. If I don't do this to my hair and I just let it air dry, it's just gon na be a frizzy mess. So this is a really good trick if you do have frizzy unruly hair. So normally at this point I would just put in some more of the jisu hair oil just to add some extra shine, but you can already see my hair is pretty shiny because of this. But this is the end of the heatless part of the video. I basically leave my hair like this most of the time. I only do this on the weekends or, if we're going anywhere special, but I just wanted to add this in and if you are curious as to when I am going out and my curls do start from up here, how I get that look, it's with a Curling wand, it's actually not with this barrel, so I'm just gon na switch it out and the reason why I use this one. This one is more tapered, so it kind of mimics the way I braided my hair when it got closer to the ends. It got thinner, so this will really help mimic that and make it more natural and just flow with the rest of my hair. Since I am using heat, I am gon na be using a heat protectant, and this is the way memory mist and not only will this protect. My hair it'll also make my hairstyle last so much longer, so I really love using this. So, finally, I'm gon na grab the wand. I'M just gon na grab a random pieces, I'm not worried about the sizing or anything like that, the more undone this looks the better. So you can see the curl is so similar to the braids. That'S why I really like a tapered wand. It really does a good job at duplicating what my waves look like. So I'm gon na grab more sections and I, like the top of my head, I like the curls to go in one direction, so this is another one and the closer I get to my bangs. I leave it in less just so there's some definition, but it's not too much. So that's all the heat I'm gon na put in my hair, I'm gon na stop myself before I get carried away and then the next thing I'm gon na do is slowly break up the curls that I just put in and I'm grabbing a little bit of My hair and then the last thing I'm gon na do is add some of the texturizing hairspray. This will just give my hair volume and some texture, I'm gon na mostly focus it on this area, so just lift and you can tell a huge difference like the site is so lifted, not gon na leave it like that. So that's it for this hair. Look. I really hope you guys enjoyed it. I really love this hairstyle. I do it all the time and actually my favorite part is that it kind of looks different every day after you do it so tomorrow. I know when I wake up. It'S gon na look a little bit more beachy. The curls are gon na get flat when I sleep on it, so I'll insert a picture of what that looks like if you guys are curious but yeah. I really hope you guys enjoyed. It means don't forget to subscribe. If you haven't already and I'll see you in my next one
