Hey guys, so i am in my bathroom right now, i'm going to show you how i get these beautiful, curls they're part heatless part. Not so if you hear any little kids in the background, that would be my two-year-old and my 10 month old. It'S almost their bedtime and they're just a little crazy right now, um! So that's why i'm gon na make this a quick tutorial, so you can do this on freshly washed damp hair or you can just dampen your hair yourself. I washed my hair like two days ago, so i don't really need to wash it. I'M gon na use some leave-in conditioner, because my hair is a little bit dry. You want your hair to be about 90 percent dry. You don't want it to be soaking wet. So i'm just going to dampen it up now. If you have curls that will not stay, i do recommend doing a mousse before you do your braids, so i'm using this one, it's from aveda, it's honestly the only mousse i have, and i'm just going to put this in my hand and just kind of distribute This on each side, then, i'm going to part my hair down the center and i'm just going to split my hair into two sections. So the section that i'm not working with i'm just going to put up into a clip. Now, for the section that i am working with, i'm just going to split this into two sections: i'm just going to use my finger, but just split it all the way to the back of your neck. With this hairstyle, it is literally just four dutch braids to begin with. If you don't know how to do a dutch braid, i'm here, to show you real quick how to do one so divide your hair into three equal sections start with the back section cross it under the middle section with the front section cross it under the middle Section as well with the back section, grab a section of hair right next to it add it into the back section cross them both underneath that middle strand do the same with the front, add in a section of hair right next to it cross them both under The middle strand add in a section of hair to your back section: combine them cross them both underneath that middle section of hair do the same with the front strand, add in a section of hair to it, cross them underneath that middle section of hair, and then You just keep doing this, adding in hair crossing it under adding in hair crossing it under it's the same repetition all the way. So if you can do a french braid, you can 100 do a dutch braid and if you can't do either, then i hope you'll practice, because these braids are awesome and they give the most beautiful curls. So now, with my other section of hair, i'm doing another. Dutch braid and here's what they look like and look at that transition here is all four braids you can see. They are not perfect. I would never wear this out, but it's okay, because we're just going to sleep. So i know these aren't the most symmetrical braids they're different thicknesses, but that's okay. So if you're, someone who tosses and turns and their hair gets really frizzy at night, you could always sleep with like a scarf over your hair or a shower cap or something to protect your hair from frizzing mine doesn't personally get frizzy, so i'm actually really heavy Sleeper, i don't even think i move when i fall asleep, so i'm gon na go to sleep and i can't wait to show you guys what these look like and how i spruce them up to make them look even more magical. So i'll see you guys in the morning all right, so it is the next day. I'Ve already done my makeup, i'm ready for the day. So now we just need to take out our braids. You can see here. My hair did not get frizzy. It stayed into place really well didn't. Have any troubles wasn't uncomfortable for me um. I really love sleeping in braids. I just love the outcome of a braid french braid, dutch braid, it's so beautiful and i have to do a side part because i just i feel like i look better with a side part, especially with how bad my roots are right now. So now i'm going to go in with a heat protectant, because we are going to go in with a curling iron. So while i'm letting that dry, i'm going to show you guys the curling iron that i use, this is actually really old. They don't even make this anymore, it's a bellamy and i believe it's a half inch wand, so you could use a half inch wand. You could also use a chopstick wand, so i'm going to give you two links down below in my description box, for you guys to check out. If you don't have one of these already. I highly recommend, if you want like really tight spirally curls, so you notice with my curls - it's really beautiful up top and then towards the ends where i couldn't really braid them, they're kind of straight. So that's what the curling iron is for we're going to make this look really natural and just like it's our natural curls. So aside from curling my ends, i like to take this wand and just do random pieces throughout and i'm not grabbing a big section. So i'm just gon na wrap it tightly around the wand. So these four dutch braids are like the foundation of our curls. Could you imagine using this iron all the way around your head, because i couldn't it would take probably over an hour for my hair, any pieces that look like they may have loosened up a little bit or didn't get braided as tightly i'm going to curl those. So while we are still using an iron, we're not using it on every single strand, so it's minimizing the heat damage to our hair. So that looks pretty good. So now i'm just going to take my ends and just wrap them around the barrel. So i know i showed this in the beginning, but do make sure you're using a heat protectant, because you don't want to fry your ends, make sure that your iron is not at a super high temperature either. So here's what this side looks like and now we're going to do this thing so growing up. My best friend had the prettiest most natural, beautiful curls i'd ever seen. I was so jealous that i actually asked my mom to give me a perm, which she did. This was like third or fourth grade. I went to school. The next day got called a poodle by a girl named piper don't be a piper. Here is what my curls look like. I haven't touched them. I'Ve just curled them. So what i like to do is just kind of take my fingers and very gently kind of spread the curls apart, not all of them just some of them. We don't want to loosen them up too much, but we want to break them up a little bit. Then i just kind of shake them out and that's really it. I love how curly and beautiful these curls are i'll. Show you what they look like second day on me. They are so beautiful. They literally look like mermaid waves, like i just appeared out of the water, so i'm gon na show you guys a close-up and just a full 360 of what these look like. So my hair is very fine, it's really straight. So the fact that i can pull off these curls for two to three days is a miracle, and i love it. I love feeling that i have curly hair. If you have curly hair, please know how envious i am because it is absolutely stunning. These definitely give me carrie bradshaw, shakira, vibes. I'Ve shown a video in the past where i've done this with french braids, but i feel like four dutch braids is just a game changer. I can literally make these last two to three days, um, so that's great, so that is the video. Thank you guys. So much for watching, don't forget to like subscribe, leave a comment, and i will see you guys in my next one don't forget to let me know what other kind of videos you want to see. Mwah bye guys, can you say, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye. I love you bye, bye. I love you. Oh baby, giggles

Natalie Jenner: Your hair turned out so well. Looks great! As someone with very curly hair, I like braiding my hair before bed as it gets tangled otherwise. Haven't tried the Dutch braid as my hair is fairly short, but it would be interesting to see how my curls would look after taking out the braids. I'd love to see holiday makeup and hairstyles from you

Ellie P: This was such a great video! I never knew how to dutch braid, but now I do! I can't wait to try this tonight!

Joanne Shaw: I did this last night and omg my hair this morning was so curly. It looks so good! Love any overnight curls

Patricia Wilson: I have done this for years, but I just secure the ends of the braids with pink sponge rollers. It works great.

Renee Morgan: Thank you so much for doing this tutorial!!! This is just so gorgeous!

7027CATHY: Amazing tutorial and the results are awesome. I'm definitely trying this, this week. I love sleeping in braids too, your hair ends up looking good in the morning. Thank you so much for the tutorial, so much appreciated. Your little one has grown so quick and he is turning out a little blondie cutie pie. ❤️☀️

The Mags Adventure: so beautiful! I have above shoulder length hair and every time I try a heatless curl or braid it looks pretty awful on me haha im about to get extensions for the first time and can't wait to try these hairstyles. hoping they look good love it!

Sabi: I always thought I never could do a Dutch braid but its so easy!! Even if its not pretty i did it for the curls and if I want to go out with a Dutch braid I just have to practice And I’m so excited for the curls

Lara Medley: I had every thick frizzy hair growing up so my mom gave me several spiral perms. I loved them. 30 some years later still dealing with frizzy poofy hair I discovered I actually had wavy hair I wasn’t caring for properly!

Homer Phoner: This was such a great video! Thanks for all you do! I already have curly hair but I’ll try it cuz it looks good!

Chantal S: Can’t wait to try this, will try it out this week and if I can pull it off I’ll do it again next week for my husbands Christmas work party! And your baby is adorable. He looks like he’s close in age with my youngest who is 10months! Love those baby laughs.

Jessie H: You're genius ☺️ I have fine hair and have never been able to hold a curl

Cecile Walker: You’re a really good teacher, Lainey, & your boys are beautiful! Thanks!

Melanie Downes: I am trying this tonight and I love sleeping my hair in braids. Taking them out the next day is the best part. French braids are the best! I even tried upside down braids and they are awesome

Lacey Fontenot: The curls came out beautiful. In 5th grade I begged my mom for a perm because my friends were getting them. She did not want to 'ruin' my hair. At that point I had never had a haircut, just a little trim like once a year. Since I couldn't get a perm I convinced her to let me cut it. I was thinking I was going to have a Bob but the lady who cut it had different plans. It was a very layered cut coming down to a V in the back. Surprise! I had very curly hair, plus a horrible hair cut and I cried a lot! She did not let me cut it again until I was 18. That's probably why I went to Cosmetology school

Katherine Klevenow: Looks beautiful, I can't wait to try it

K M: My hair is super straight, super fine. All my life I've wanted curly hair. My cousin had gorgeous, thick, supercurly hair which she wore shoulder length. As a teen I started setting my hair with pins and tiny rollers every night, just to get that effect. I also had to use a lot of product, or the curl would not hold more than an hour. In my 20's I started to get spiral perms on my long hair. Now, in my 60's, I wear my hair short, but I wish I'd known about these easy methods when I was younger, would have saved me a ton of time and hassle.

Kate Ledbetter: WOW!! definitely gonna try this! so beautiful!!

m&m's m&m's: Your so talented girl! Your hair always looks great! And super cute baby

Baroqlvr: Really great video! I’m going to have to try this

Cina Chandler: So pretty! And, your son is getting so big. He’s too cute, and that giggle was EVERYTHING!

Lisa Gannon: Looks really good on you. Cutest baby ever!!❤❤

Samantha Chung: Nice curls! And you didn't spend any money doing that. Good job, way to go. Thank you for sharing!

Aya Zeyad: I'm excited to try it, thanks

Sarah Munson: Absolutely gorgeous, I don't know how to dutch braid but I want to learn just to try this! What do you do with your hair overnight to maintain the curls?

Hermine Nazari: I really liked it. My hair is naturally curly ❤️

Mrs. Marks: Aww.. baby brother looks just like big brother! And baby giggles are irresistible! Love the curls.. will definitely give this a try.

Alicia Marin: I like this. Simple, easy, awesome curls! Also, are you wearing silicone wedding rings? Because I wear them as well - they are the best!

Erica: Thank you this is great!

Arras10: SRSLY LOVE THESE CURLS

Jakobowww W: This would be a great base for a fishtail braid style then you would really be giving mermaid vibes ‍♀️❤️

Santra Anna: I always wish if my hair was curly cuz my mom has curly hair and i have straight hair so im pretty jealous. Thankyou for the tutorial and i will try it tonight.

Sarah Lomas: Your baby Need to try this. Your curlers are similar to the Mark Hill ones if anyone wants to purchase. Wish I was as good at hair as you xxx

F M: Looks gorgeous! How do you sleep on them so they still look great the next day?

Kami Pearson: What do you do when you sleep to make them last? Do you redo the braids?

Johanna Bohn: Love aveda products, cruelty free

Marijka Walker: My Piper was Celeste. Damn that Celeste. It was 40 years ago, but you never forget your bully! Anyhoo.... you carry this off great, love it!

Jenno M: This is a freaking GAME CHANGER.

Natalie Sheff: Would it look weird if you didnt use hair products on it...? like the extra curling? Or would it still look ok.
