Hi guys welcome back to my channel, so today i'm going to be testing this out and show you exactly how i got my hair to look like this. Let'S get into today's video video hi guys welcome back to my channel so you're in a bit of a weird angle this morning, because this is a bit of a last minute video. So i was wondering what to do tonight and in all honesty i felt really crap the last few days. So i thought you know what i'm going to try and cheer myself up. So i've put my makeup on and i'm going to try and curl my hair with, like those really tight curls. So i've got this chopstick styler. This is actually a lee stafford one. I bought this off spock, which is like a secondhand site and actually from this lady around the corner, who lives opposite my mom and dad. So thank you rachel. If you're watching i'm eventually going to try it. I think i bought it from her about a year ago and but yeah i've seen a few people do this style and i thought why not give it a go. My hair is very thin and very fine and very crap um, and so i was thinking this might add a bit of volume. So i just thought i would do a first impressions. Video put some dry shampoo in my hair because it's a little greasy, but i wanted to do it today because i thought, if it's not great, i can wash it tomorrow. So i'm just gon na pop a bit of dry shampoo in my hair and get some heat protector and i'll be back. Okay, so just put a bit of dry shampoo on my hair, my hair is actually growing really well. I can't believe it i'm wondering if it's the olaplex anyway, okay, this dress is primark by the way, it's only six pounds in case you're wondering so what i'm gon na do is i'm going to take relatively small sections, because i want to like make it really Voluminous the only thing with these is, it hasn't, got a heat control, on which i do like my straighteners and curlers to normally have because my hair is really thin and fine, and i don't i'm like always worried about heat damage, so i'm gon na start with These like a little bits at the bottom and probably get like two curls out of this. So let's see how we get on i'm not gon na leave it on too long, because i don't want to singe my hair off um, but yeah just try it. I don't know how long you need to leave it on when i do this. I always think of that. Oh okay, maybe you don't have to leave it on for longer tour. Juliet! My hair takes a cold very easily, but it doesn't stay like that. So i'm just gon na. Do it like a two second wow? Look, how tight those curls are. Okay, i need to also make sure i'll get the very ends. This might end very badly, so i'm quite glad that i'm recording video in it, i'm literally leaving it on for a second and look at the curl. That is crazy. I'M literally wrapping it up and letting it go. Oh there we go okay, so i think what i need to do is like almost take it straight off, because that's the kind of curl want to be looking for. These were a little too tight, so yeah just wrap and take off okay right next stage. Imagine this taking forever if you've got long hair, so i'm gon na go with that technique of put it on quickly. Take it off. I can't believe how quick that curl is taking. These must be super hot, which is a little concerning, don't understand what the school like it's like a square like not a circle is there does that give a different type of curl any hairdressers out there want to tell me literally curling it off and then just Taking it out because it is curling so quick, it is crazy. I think what's concerning me as well, it's like how i'm gon na brush through these, i think maybe i've done the bits too small. I think maybe i need to do bigger pieces, because at the moment i feel like i'm going to be going for a role at pantomime a little bit as little bo peep. Underneath, let me be your only one is that is it? How crazy is that? So now i don't really know what i'm supposed to do with it, because i'm just gon na run my fingers through it a little oh or am i not um? Maybe i shouldn't run my fingers through it. A little well done just gently. I think the curls are a bit tight personally, but it's definitely giving it volume probably do with getting some serum and like just putting some serum through it, but you know what i quite like it: it's really different. Now i've like brushed it out a little bit. I actually quite like it um. It'S definitely just giving my hair loads of volume sure see if you can see from the back hold on, yes, definitely giving it loads of volume. Okay, so i just thought: i'd show you, because it's been a little while now and what i've done is. I have let's put you here so i've used some of this. I want to check that they still do it. Actually, it's called advanced techniques daily, shine, dry ends, serum and i've had this in my drawer for years now, but it's amazing for like frizz and dry hair, but i really like it. I think they might be really hot. So it's something you wouldn't use every day, but i really really like it for something different and so yeah, i'm really chuffed and to say i've got really thin and fine hair. I think this is perfect because it just gives it like loads and loads of volume, and i just think it's perfect for a nice summer's day as well. Yeah, i'm gon na give them a thumbs up, and i wish there was a temperature control on there. There'S not, but you know what sort of a screen savers on here. So it's sending me different colors but yeah. Let me know what you guys think, i'm quite pleased with it and it's not like matted or anything they're like really nice soft curls yeah. I really like it so yeah. Tried it twice and it does give volume and my friends on zoom loved it. I did have curly hair years back but it's more frizzy now. It's gorgeous on you x

Diane Mahoney: I've had the pleasure of Lee Stafford doing my hair at his old salon in Leigh (essex) the whole crew there were the loveliest people ever :-D Still a huge fan of the Stafford's range of hair items. They have serums and products to protect your hair from heat damage (from tongs, straighteners etc) and also there is a little pot of wax (my hair is super fine like yours) which they first introduced me to, it's heavenly, the scent is so nice and it washes away without any residue, which is perfect for when you finish a style like this, to just put a little on your hands, rub hands to warm the wax then pop it sparingly here and there to give volume and hold to the style, then finish with the hairspray ..... wow holds all day, smells lovely and washes away no issue :-D I defo recommend Lee's products for your hair. You can get them in Boots on special offers. Your hair looks so pretty like that, have a great weekend with the family :-D x ps forgot to say, that the wand normally comes with a safety glove, so you don't burn your hand - check on ebay you can normally get one on there.

I never know what to do with it, I feel really conscious about my hair, I lose hair lots so I'm afraid to do things too harshly. It doesn't take long for it to go greasy.
