Hello, everyone, so it's back to school season and i know most of us aren't actually going back to school, but in the spirit of the season today, i'm bringing you guys, six lazy, but still cute hairstyles - that are super quick and easy and you can accomplish any Of these in five minutes or less, i'm also going to be sharing some really quick tips with you guys to help elevate your hairstyles. So you can create a really cute and special look and i'm also hosting a giveaway today with yes style, and we are going to be giving away these adorable hair accessories. So just watch until the end of the video to see how you could enter for a chance to win and also one last quick announcement. Thank you so much to everyone who has joined my patreon so far. Thank you. So much for watching me grow on a new platform. I am so honored to be teaching on there and i will just leave the information on the screen really quick and with that out of the way, let's get started on this video so really quickly. I just wanted to share how i prepped my hair for this video i just quickly curled in the ends of my hair i just put on some hair oil and then i am brushing it out. So this is the watermelon oil infused brush from wet brush. It has a combination of their super soft, flexible bristles and some bore bristles at the same time, and it makes my hair so much softer and just very, very healthy, alright. So with that out of the way, let's start with our first hairstyle and first i'm taking about a one inch section from the top of my head and i'm creating little rope twists with each twist, i'm adding a bit of hair from the front. And then i'm twisting again until i reach the top of my ear towards the end, i started adding some hair towards the back too. Just to make my little twist a little fuller. Then i'm lightly pinching on each side of the twist, just to give it volume and to make it look nice and a little bit messy. Then i'm just temporarily clipping this to the back of my head and we'll get back to that later. But until then i am repeating this process on the other side and doing these little rope twists has been actually a favorite way of wearing my hair recently, because it is so quick to do and it is so effortless you don't really need bobby pins. You don't need to braid anything, it's just a really great lazy day, hairstyle. So from the back, we have our two rope twists and i'm just going to join them at the back and secure it with an elastic. Then you kind of just want to fluff and twist until you're happy with how it looks, then i'm decorating with a couple of gold and pearl hair clips just to complete the look, and that is it for this first hairstyle super quick and super simple, and it Still looks so put together then, for my next hairstyle, it's a variation of the first, but it's a different way and it's a way to change it up. So i'm splitting my hair directly down the center and then i am gathering all of my hair into a twist. So starting out with a small section from the top. I am twisting and then adding more hair from both the back and the front and twisting again until i reach to the bottom of my hair, then again, i'm pinching lightly on the sides to give it more volume and to give it a sort of lived-in messy Effect again, i'm twisting this out of the way and pinning it into the back to get it out of the way for now and then i'm repeating the process on the other side, then, from the back with our two even rope twists, i'm joining them in the Back for a low ponytail and then i'm just securing it with an elastic then with a butterfly shaped claw, clip i'm securing this to the back. To complete this look from the front. This is my favorite tip actually to elevate any sort of hairstyle that you have, whether you're wearing your hair straight or curly. I think this is a really great thing to do so. I'M just lightly pulling out some strands from the top of my ear and with this super sweet transition, i'm just curling these pieces very, very gently just so that it looks a little bit more romantic and that you put in more effort in your hair today. Just with a little bit of hairspray on my hands, i'm twisting this around to give it more definition, so that is actually going to last throughout the day, and that is it for this hairstyle. I especially love this butterfly claw clip i've been seeing these acrylic claw clips trend recently on social media like on instagram, and i love this dreamy nostalgic retro vibe that it gives off they're acrylic, but they come in so many different, colors and shapes, and recently i Think i'm kind of going through like a butterfly phase, so anything butterfly shaped just really captures my heart and it just looks so whimsical at the same time, then, moving into our third hairstyle. This is my favorite hairstyle in this entire video. It is so sweet and cottage core. I think you guys are really gon na love this one. So i'm starting off again with a very small rope twist same deal as the first hairstyle. You guys know how this goes except this time, i'm only twisting until the top of my ear fluffing it out and then clipping it back above my ear with another smaller acrylic butterfly clip - and this is such a cute little step to add to literally any hairstyle. Even if you wanted to wear the rest of your hair, just straight down or with a little wave or with some curls, i think this is another really quick tip to just make your hairstyle a little bit cuter, i'm going to split my hair straight down the Center and i'm going to be doing a regular three strand, braid and then i'm just lightly pinching on each side of the braid and fluffing it out for a very, very soft cottage core. Look then, at the end, this is another tip that i've been really loving to do recently, i am taking an elastic and i'm folding up the last three inches or so of my hair up to create a little bundle. I guess and then i'm repeating on the other side, the reason why i've been liking to finish off my ponytails and my braids with this little bundle recently. It'S because i feel like it's a very unique and quick way to finish off a hairstyle look rather than leaving your dry ends just sort of like hanging and dangling out. I think it makes it look so much cuter and it's just another tip to change up a hairstyle look and to make it look a little bit more special, so that is it for this super simple hairstyle again, this is my favorite hairstyle in the entire video. With these little like curly pieces on the side, they kind of like blend into these fluffy braids, and it creates such a romantic look by taking small, simple elements and putting them together. You create such a cute and unique hairstyle, and that is what i'm here, for that is the point of this video and anyone can achieve this hairstyle, it's just so quick and simple, so the last three hairstyles are going to be slight variations of each other. So i'm going to start with one base: first off, i'm going to be french braiding, a one-inch section from the top of my hair until the back of my ear and then i'm braiding all the way down and the trick with this one is that you want To french braid towards the back of your head, you want it to be lying flat against the side of your head as much as possible. Again, i'm also pinching lightly on each side of the braids and fluffing it out and then tying it off with an elastic. And then i'm going to repeat on the other side and of course just keep checking in a mirror to make sure that your braids are equal in thickness and also in fluffiness, when you're pulling out your strands on the side. So when i put both of these braids to the back, you can see how they lie flat against my head, and that is what we're going for. So from the back with my two equal braids, i'm going to be folding them in half and lying them parallel against my head, and you want to tuck each end under the opposite. Braid and you want to bobby pin at the fold of the braid, because that's the part that's going to be hidden by the second braid and then with my second braid, i'm again folding this in half and i'm lying this parallel to my first braid - and i Am again tucking the end into our first braid and then i'm bobby pinning this in place. It seems a little bit complicated. It definitely took me a couple tries to get this right, but with a little bit of practice. This is a very, very quick hairstyle to do. Then. This is another really quick tip that i have been obsessed with so taking any sort of embellished headband. You can actually wear it on the back of your head instead, so i'm inserting this mini purled headband in between my braids in the back and like, isn't it amazing how much you transform a look just by doing this little step and i feel like it's just A really great way to get more versatility out of your hair accessories and it's actually very comfortable. And you don't see the headband peeking from the front either. And i definitely should have added more bobby pins along the top and the bottom of the braids, because they were kind of puffing out from the back of my head. So i didn't to save some time and i kind of regret it i definitely should have. But if you guys are wearing this hairstyle, you definitely should add bobby pins along the top and the bottom of the braids, just to give it more security, all right, so keeping our flat braids from the sides from earlier i'm taking the rest of my hair from The back and i'm doing another french braid until i reach the nape of my neck, then i'm just going to be fluffing out this braid by pulling on the sides as usual, and then i'm securing this off with an elastic taking my side braids. I am joining this at the back for a low ponytail and then i'm clipping it with another acrylic butterfly, except this one is in a pearly luminescent white, which i am so obsessed with. I just really really love these hair clips. I'M releasing my smaller side braids at the bottom and then i'm just going to finish off with a regular three strand braid with the rest of my hair, then at the bottom again i am just tying off the last three inches of my hair into a little Bundle - and i always secure with a double elastic just to make sure that it doesn't slip through and then with one final pearly butterfly clip. I'M clipping this at the bottom to hide the elastic, and that is it for this hairstyle. This one is another favorite. It'S kind of messy kind of lived-in, but at the same time it's so unique i feel like you can achieve so many different types of hairstyles with just three strong braids. You just have to be a little creative with accessorizing and the little details alright. So for our last hairstyle again i have my side braids and then i'm doing another french braid in the back. Except this time, i'm going to braid all the way until the bottom and then i'm taking that back braid and i'm twisting it into a small bun. With these types of twisted buns, it's actually really easy to keep them securely in place. You just want to insert one bobby pin in each four directions on the sides and on the top and bottom, and it will not go anywhere then taking my side braids, i'm taking one of them and i'm first looping it from the bottom up around the braid And i'm tucking the end under itself to hide it as i bobby pin it in place and then taking our second braid. I'M looping this one from the top down the bottom and then again, i'm tucking the end, underneath the braid and bobby pinning that in place and then to go with the asymmetric look of this hairstyle. I am clipping one large barrette in the back except at an angle, and that is it for our final hairstyle. So i do want to say that, although in theory i really like this hairstyle, i have to say it's - definitely not for me. I have way too much hair and my hair is way too long. So this entire situation just ended up looking very bulky and it was very heavy, but i would definitely say that this is for shorter haired people out there. So maybe, with shoulder length hair, i think that it would look absolutely perfect on you, so that is it for this hairstyle compilation, and the great thing about these hairstyles is that some of them are just like slight variations of each other, but they still create completely Different looks - and i think it's just great to have these simple hairstyles in your arsenal, so thank you for making it to the end of this video, let's get on with the giveaway, so i partnered up with yes style, who has been my go-to source for all Of my cute accessories - and i picked some of my top favorite accessories from this year - to give away to three lucky winners, not just one, so three winners will be receiving everything that you see here so to enter this giveaway. Carissa: Love these, thank you. My grandma used to make little “bundles” at the end of my braids when I was younger, so that reminds me of her.

brabelbla: Cottagecore style hairstyles are super cute, would love to see this type of video for shorter hair too (maybe with a wig?) ~

char: if only i had as much hair as you to achieve these hairstyles T_T

Linda Thao: 5:30 how are you able to pull out your hair soooo well?? My hair never looks like that!!

NewbieDrunkDriver: Gym classes: Am about to ruin this girl’s whole hair career.

alicia: my favorite summer memory was actually just spending more time with myself and finding out that i like new hobbies and becoming more comfortable with who i am

Ryuuji •: Lazy? Girl, in what world does that not look like a million dollars-

Paula-Kristin Friebel: I am absolutely untalented with hairstyles but always wanted to be able to do something cool myself because I have really good hair. And your hairstyle videos are really cute, really simple and usable for everyday life and finally something that looks fantastic and romantic and cute and like you put a lot of effort in that I am able to do myself! So thank you very much! <3

Carrie Owen: your hairstyles are so approachable and cute.

M e l a n i e .-.: Firstly, this made me almost positive that I want to dye my hair lol, I have a similar design to the dress you’re wearing and now I know it would just look heavenly. U literally look so ethereal in ur videos I bought pearl clips too and I wore them on my birthday, a simple waterfall braid. My birthday was this summer on a family zoom call but it really showed me how much my family cares

Mina_みな: This really fits with the video's you have been doing lately, but one of my favourite summer memories is my Japanese aunt always taking the time to braid/twist/arrange my hair in the morning. This summer I couldn't go back to Japan because of the recent situation and I really miss her, but it's still one of the memories I'm the most fond of ^-^

karen: i’d love to do all these hairstyles but i recently cut my hair short so i’ll keep this video for when it grows out!

Brielle Skysailing: I love the last haistyle so much!! my sisters and I already do the french braid x2 regularly, but now we have another variant with 3 that we can do for a bun and it's gorgeous! thank you Mei!!

nunya: My favorite summer memory was going on a walk with my grandma who I haven’t seen in years. As we walked she told me about her life when she was younger. She talked to me about her favorite memories and I really connected to her. :)

petite sarah: love these hair videos! I suck at doing my own hair but you make it so easy to understand!

姫リン: I'm loving these hair tutorials! You're a great host. You communicate clearly and honestly, and I like your modeling skills for the finished look. I'm sharing!

sonicleaves: Thank you so much for posting simple styles I can actually do on the daily, you are awesome!

Nicole Ashlee: Omg the braided crown hairstyle with your orange hair reminds me of the webtoon Lucina!! I love how dreamy and almost fantasy like it is so pretty mei

sarah: my favorite summer memory is that I started drawing a lot and made lots of sweet internet friends. I realised I found myself during summer and I just feel so comfortable and happy just being myself. that‘s my favorite summer memory <3

RarelyMarilyn: 9:12 ok but props to her for being able to braid her hair in the back perfectly

Yinglin: Only if I could do my own hair.

Kathy Huynh: I can’t wait to try these. I love all your hair styles

Cinthia Marie Barragan: These hairstyles are so cute Since I have long hair, I always have it down and only accessorize it. This year I've been trying to really style my hair and find unique ways to style it other than curlying my hair. Thank you for making this video now that I can play with my hair more My favorite summer memory from 2 years ago was going to Anime Expo 2018 with my boyfriend for all 4 days and was a wonderful time.

joy: I always love your hairstyle videos ! and you're even doing some lazy ones, I love it :D

The Redheaded Rapunzel: That's such a creative idea to tuck the end of the braids in! Also I love the flowers in the background:)

Clara More: my favourite summer memorie is the last weekend with my dad, even though I didn't know it was the last time I was going to see him. it's sad but pretty beautiful in my opinion. we were coming back from his house, after a great weekend, to my mom's house, when we arrived hi said: well, next weekend we are definitely going to fly the planes (he used to built this aeromodelling planes and fly them in the country side, but that Sunday was too windy, so we couldn't). after saying that he kissed my sister's forehead and mine, gave us a hug, he said goodbye to us and my mom, he got into the car and left.

Flo. C: From one redhead to another : those hairstyles look so good on you ! And I'm so jealous of your hair and that shade too. I would love to have such a light hair colour but my hair is thin and fine and I'm not sure it could handle bleaching and colouring. Ps. I'm pretty sure those are dutch braids not french braids as the added hair is pulled under the braids ;)

Kayumi _: Mei: I like to make the hair a *little* messy Me: *makes the whole thing messy*

it'sthelittlethings: Omg, I love how you explore through old styles and recreate them differently and here in India we have mostly uniforms in school and braiding Your hair is a MUST if they are anywhere below your ear and you must oil them daily! Or else you are a bad kid who has no "discipline" and wearing braids with bundling your ends is soo common that if you wear it hear no one (mostly) would notice it as "Cute" rather a nerd

Daniela Fernandez: I really love her style, and her voice is relaxing for me. So pretty ♡

michelle: My favorite memory was spending more time with my family by going on hikes :)))) aaaaaah I love these hairstyles!!! They’re so cute (and so are you!) ❤️❤️❤️

Amari: Yeah I’m gonna tell my mom to do one of these hairstyles for my birthday since it’s comí up soon.thank you for randomly popping up in my recommended.

Lemon and Sweet Tea: Omg I tried one of these and it WORKED thanks SO SO SOOOO much I love it :)

hades25_10: My favorite memory is seeing two foxes running in the forest in Romania, my younger sister and I were so happy and seeing her being so exited was precious.❤️

Dialova: honestly you don't need a hairstyle to be pretty, you're naturally pretty uwu

Destiny: my favorite summer memory✨ was taking the time out of my busy schedule to go to the lake with my friend. we got to walk through the trail and picked flowers, and i shared my coffee with her while we walked for what seemed like it was an endless amount of time! then, we went and sat on the bench by the lake and watched the ducks swim around with their ducklings and it was the cutest thing i was so sad when it ended because i had the best time outside :(

julia n: this has to be my favorite hairstyle video so far!! these r all so quick i be sleeping thru all of my alarms and running late so thank you!!

Lelouch Vi Britannia: Oh my gosh you even linked your hair accessories in the description, thank you!! I just found your channel and I love your videos!!

sxnsetlover: I just realized that I have the perfect hair for these tutorials-

jeshie: My favourite summer memory was when me and my friends went on a picnic at a park near the harbour! we wore really nice "cottage core" clothes and took nice photos. We had good food too!

Miki the kiwi: Her voice is so calming❤❤❤ Btw,I love these hairstyles!

mushroom cactus: I'm obsessed. These hairstyles are so cute!!

I found a cat: Hack: braid your hair after a shower and leave it overnight, and you will have wavy/curly (depending on the number of braids) hair for the next few days

Mega Man: My favorite memory from this year was fishing with my boyfriend and his family in the Hamptons :) It was very fun and a perfect way to end the summer season.

Tiffany Swan: I love your hairstyle videos!

ShadowWolf Gaming: First step to trying her videos: Have enough/ long enough hair Second step: Learn how to French braid/braid Third step: get lots of bobby pins, clips, elastic bands, and headbands Fourth step: Re-watch the video and mimic it on your hair

Alexa Banuelos: My favorite summer memory is going to the beach during the late morning, when it’s still a bit foggy out and there’s almost nobody around, and swimming until my arms felt sore

taiicrepe_: i have a idea for the first one: instead of using a elastic band, you could use like a hairtie scrunchie so it looks realistic

PetiteKitti: Very unique and cute hairstyles♥️

Jessica Leung: My favorite summer memory is staying up until 5AM on a balcony in Japan with my best friend just chatting about life :) !!

Mel: Me, who can barely put my own hair onto a pony tail, watching this ... ️️

Akairi: 8:08 Ok im deffo wearing that to my wedding it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Zynda etc.: she make it look so easy lol i tried making one of these and it didnt really work haha

PowerRangerDuelist: okay ive only seen 2 videos so far, but when she put that headband on in the back I'm convinced. She has secrets I need to know. SUBSCRIBED

VNN Video: So beautiful, love your hair color!

Chen Judy: My favorite summer memory was celebrating my friend's birthday and just being able to hangout with all my friends, of course keeping social distancing in mind.

Marni Servin: I have to say, I love your content and asthetic. Your videos are always so soothing and calm to listen to, but to be honest your hairsyle videos are great but I would like to see something else. I feel most of your videos lately are hair tutorials now and I do not have thick nor long hair to try most of them so I can't relate. I'm missing your other content.

Mara: I swear im gonna try all of these

The Fashion Closet: My favourite summer memories was to spent time with my family and enjoying at home ....

Janice Wang: My favorite memory was spending more time with my parents during quarantine. My parents work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week at a take out restaurant and don't have much time for my brother and I. In a day, I usually only see my parents for 40 minutes a day and it's when my mom makes breakfast for my brother and I before we go to school and my dad is usually sleeping at that time, so I don't even get to see him. Before quarantine, when my parents were home, my brother and I were in school or asleep. When my brother and I were home they were at work. But because of quarantine, my mom taught me how to cook different foods and we watched movies together as a family. They're working again and are really busy, but I'm still grateful we got to spend time together as a family.
