In this video I'm going to show you 10 styles that you can rock in your straight and even curly hair as well!! Hey it's your girl, Melissa, Denise, and you know when your straight hair is getting kind of old, but you still need a few styles to hold you over until wash day. Well in this video, I'm going to show you 10 styles, that you can rock the first style is the twist on pigtails. So first you're going to part your hair down the middle and we're just going to focus on one section at a time. So we're going to take the first section and do a fishtail braid. If you don't know how to braid fishtail, it will leave the video in the description box where I describe it to a tee. So I promise you, you were going to be a pearl after you watch it so make sure you check that out and then once we're done, that section we are going to put a hair tie at the end and head over to the other side and fishtail That side as well the great thing about fishtail braids, is that the Messier, the better so make sure you fluff it out, pull some strands out in your face and you are good to go. Oh, but what is pigtails without your favorite baseball cap so grab your favorite cap and put it on. The fishtail can also bring a little spice to a plain, boring ponytail, don't forget to fluff it up. This next style is an overlapping half-up. Half-Down, do so you're going to take a chunk of hair kind of at your temple and wrap it around your head and bobby, pin it and then you're going to take another section on the opposite side and make sure you crisscross it with that. First section in the back and you're going to bobby, pin that as well and then you're just going to repeat those steps two more times so a total of three times on each side of your head and make sure your criss crossing them. As you go. And that's it! You can also put curls in your hair. If you don't want to pull the sections straight back, you can always put a little twist in it play around with it. This next aisle is called the Infinity braid and I might just be a little bit obsessed with it so you're going to take your hair and split it into two sections, section: 1 and section 2. You now want to take a small piece of hair from section 1 and wrap it over section 1 and under section 2, then over section 2 and under section 1, so you're going to do a figure 8 again over section 1 and under section 2, so over Under over under like leaving a basket when you're about to run out of air you're, going to grab a small amount from section 1 and then the next time you run out of hair, you want to make sure you grab it from section 2 and then you Just continue to do the over under figure 8 motion. I didn't want my braid to go all the way down, because I don't know I thought this way looked cooler. So once I was done, you take that piece of hair and pull it through the middle of the two sections to towards the back. And then you take a small amount from each section and make kind of like a little baby ponytail and put it together with a hair tie. Does that make sense? Hopefully it made sense, but honestly, I'm obsessed with this braid. It might just be my new face. This next style we're going to part our hair kind of in a rectangle shape, so straight back and then straight across, where the tops of your ears would be, and we're just going to bun off this section for later we're going to take the sides of our Hair and pull it back to create a ponytail we're just going to put a hair tie on that section. Then we're going to take down the top section and just do a French braid, I'm not the best brighter in the world, so no worries in that department. You can make it loose because we're just going to pick it out a little bit later and once you have finished the French braid part just braid the rest of it like normal and put a hair tie at the bottom, and once that is complete, I'm just Going to pick out the bun part to make it a little bit bigger and that's really it I kind of have a mohawk, a braid ponytail half-up half-down situation going on, but I think it's a fun twist on your Mohawk half-up half-down. Look, this style kind of reminds me of a flower crown without flowers, so you're going to take two pieces of hair and literally do a two strand twist. You can do it more tightly to your head. I did it more loose and makes you are grabbing small sections of hair as you go back, and I just bobby pinned that to the back of my head and when I went to the other side and did the same thing simple enough from this style. In seconds, you can turn it into another style, so grab a ponytail holder and put everything back into a ponytail boom. New style here is another fun way that you can spice up your ponytail, so grab a bunch of ponytail holders and just apply them to your ponytail. However, you prefer I like to kind of evenly spaced mine out as much as I can and once you're done. Applying the ponytail holders you just kind of bubble, each section out and you're done. I wear the style all the time when my hair is getting dirty, so you just gather up a small section at the top and twist it in the back and then push it up until it is the size that you prefer and just bobby pin it in The back again, here's another two-for-one special, so gather all the rest of your hair together in a ponytail, and you have a totally different look. Michelle Rodgers: Wearing my hair natural has thinned out my crown (because I part my hair in 4 sections when I give myself a twist out) and the perimeter of my head (bc I wear high buns a lot) so I am trying to incorporate wearing my hair lightly flat ironed for a few weeks at a time so that I can style my hair loose and not manipulate it as much....these styles will help! Thing1and2Unbox: Question, I wash my hair every month, and co-wash every other week. Did my chop back in March starting with 6in left of it. I'm now around 8-9in now, and haven't straightened since my curls came back to life. So when you wear it straightened what is your wash routine?
