Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today i'm going to be doing a cute fun summer, hairstyle, slash braid out that we got going on here. So i'm starting off on freshly washed hair and i'm just going to put in my leave-in conditioner that i got from urbanhydration.com and i'm going to leave a link down below, of course. So i'm just going to coat my hair with that. Just to prep my hair for this style, so i'm going to use a rat tail comb and i'm going to part my hair first in the middle just to kind of get a guideline of where my scalp is at, because i can't really see. But what i'm going to do is just part my the front of my hair from ear to ear like so now that the front section is parted off. I'M going to start with the very top is going to be a middle braid, so you don't want to do a part in the middle of your hair. You kind of want to start off to the side a little bit and then do two parting so that you can have a section in the middle so that you can start your braid on the top. So for my styling product today, i'm going to be using a cream of nature, argan oil edge control. So i'm just going to put this all throughout my hair or for where i'm putting my braids so that i can, you know, reduce frizz as much as possible. So then, i'm just going to section off a very small piece in the front, so i can begin the base of my braid and then i'm going to keep adding hair all the way back, just to make a nice neat cornrow so to hold my braid in Place i'm going to be using these super stretched rubber bands - and i was not really in the camera here, but i just wanted to let you guys know. I'M gon na tie it around my braid about four or five times for each braid that i do so. I did the first half of my hair off camera just to save myself some time, but now i'm going to show you guys how i did that other side of my hair. So i'm going to take my rat tail comb again and i'm going to part my hair towards my ear and not so much towards the back of my head, but as my braids get further back, i'm going to slant my parting a little more, but for this First part: i'm going to go more towards my ear and straight down. I think foreign, oh all right, so i will confess my parting is not very symmetrical. I actually have five braids on one side and then six braids on the other, and then one side does look better than the other, but i'm not to sweat the small stuff. So what i'm going to do now is put in some more leave-in conditioner throughout the back of my hair, because it's getting kind of dry and then i'm kind of going to speed past this part. All i'm going to do is a braid out using my eco styler, gel and wetting my hair when necessary, and i'm just gon na use, small to medium sections and then coil the ends with my fingertips come on so in total i think i have maybe 12 13 or 14 braids, maybe 13 braids. So now i'm just gon na um tie up my hair and go to sleep. Now i let the style sit overnight. So this is the next morning i'm just gon na put some argan and moroccan oil in my hair and on my fingertips just to reduce frizz. As i take down these braids um, i did kind of lay my edges earlier. Just to give the knee. You know the look some neatness so now, i'm just gon na try to be as gentle and soft as possible, while i'm taking my braids down so that i don't have too much frizz and then yeah, i'm gon na get it popping all right. So now that all my braids are out, i'm going to pick out my roots with my handy dandy, pick just to give my hair some extra volume and then i'm going to separate a few of my braids just to get some added volume again. Just to you know be popping, you know getting my look cuteness on girl, so that's pretty much the whole style. I did add some. You know hair jewelry to the middle of my braid, just to make the style pop a little bit more, but that is pretty much it.
