Hey everybody welcome back to my channel, i'm here to finally bring you my hair video i've had so many people ask me for this video and it's just basically showing you how i style my very, very fine, very thin, short hair. So i'm going to take you step by step of how i do this starting out with how i mean i was about to say how i wash my hair. You all know how to wash hair, but i will link my favorite, shampoo and conditioner. I am on day two yeah, i washed my hair two nights ago. I am a night hair washer take my showers at night. It'S just the way. I really have always done it. I tend to go three to four days in between washes and i use an exorbitant amount of dry shampoo and i did put some in this morning. I have people, ask me a lot. My favorite is the living proof, perfect, hair day dry shampoo. I like a lot of dry shampoos. I think batiste is good like the detox. Is it detox dry, shampoo from dry bar? I, like the chlorine, oat dry shampoo. Those are some of my favorites, but this is the one that i continue to repurchase over and over again now i also have very thin hair. I'Ve talked very openly about if i had to pick one thing that i'm most self-conscious about. It is my scalp where i have always had very thin hair. All of my hairdressers say the bulk of my hair is back here, not up here. So i do fill in my scalp with a powder because it is very noticeable and it makes my fit my hair look even thinner when i don't and i use the i've used a couple, but right now i'm using the madison reed root touch up. You can see, i mean i need to probably repurchase. I don't use the brush that it comes with. I actually use an old eyeshadow brush from stila, but basically i pick up the product and this is the color light brown and on the areas where i feel like, and i mean i have this on so you're not going to be able to see. But if i feel like i have, i don't know parts of my scalp showing i'll just kind of press this powder into it, and it just makes my hair look thicker. So that is a huge part of how i style my hair. Because, honestly, i do this right after i wash my hair and i don't i really don't have to touch up for the three or four days in between until i wash again. So i highly recommend that if you have very thin hair, not even thinning hair, because my hair has always been like that just very thin hair at the root - it just makes everything look much more voluminous. So i'm going to jump into how i curl and style. My hair, because the only thing i put in my hair is a heat protectant and a mousse after i wash it. I will link those down below. I have been styling my hair. As of late with the lawn. I think it's launched you can. I actually got this off their website, but you can get this on ulta the 360 airflow styler before i purchased this my favorite way to curl my hair was with a flat iron. I just felt like it worked the best for my short hair. I felt like the curls stayed the longest. I do have the t3 curling iron which i do enjoy, but overall i always preferred a flat iron. I saw this probably popped up on instagram or something i don't know, and it intrigued me because it's a flat iron. So you can see the plates, but then it's got a clip and the roundness of a curling iron. So i was like oh this, it's just intriguing to me and you will hear - and i hope it doesn't disrupt the video it does - have fans like a fan within the blade within the actual product and they're tiny air vents that cool on contact to lock. In your style, so if you've ever gotten your hair done or if you curl your hair or your hairstyles, you curl it and a lot of times. You'Ll have the stylus like hold it like this or they'll, even pin it up and they're setting that curl. They want it to curl or to cool in place, and it's going to help set that curl and help it last longer. Well, that is supposedly what these air vents do. They cool it as you straighten or curl it, which in turn helps girl set and last longer. This has very mixed reviews. I'M gon na tell you that from the very get-go i have found from reading reviews that people with longer hair and thicker hair don't enjoy this people with shorter hair and thinner hair. Do i do because i am in that short thin hair camp? So when i curl my hair, i always part it down the middle because if i part it to the side like i go back and forth with my hair, all the time which i'm sure you all have seen in videos. But if i were to curl it like this, okay - and i have the long curls over on this side, and then i switch it over here. I'M gon na have the short curls that were on this side on this side and they're, going to stick out. If that makes sense, you would have to see it, but i just don't want to show it to you, because it's just not pretty you're just going to have to take my word for it. So i like to just take it down the middle roughly when i curl my hair, so i'm going to plug this in and hope that the fan is not too disturbing. It does have different degree settings and it goes up to 430 degrees. I set mine at 390, which i've set it there once it gets to 390. The air vents will come on so you'll be able to hear it when it reaches that degree. I know you can hear that. That is what it sounds like when it is ready. So that's going to go the entire time, forgive me, but this is how i style my hair. So if that gets on your nerves, i apologize now i'm going to brush through my hair quickly. This is a wet brush with the handle torn off, because all of my good wet brushes somehow make it into my daughter's drawers upstairs and out of mine. So i will section off my hair and clip it to the top. I can get all of that section in with an alligator clip. This is just an hh and ll when i got off of amazon, so i like to work in two sections for my under section and my over section now before i start curling, i will spray some kind of heat protectant. I will either use the living proof. Perfect hair day bodybuilder shampoo, shampoo, customizable body and hold uh, it says hairspray. Excuse me, it also adds body and it has a heat protectant in it, or i will use the hot toddy before ironing heat, protectant mist by dry bar, which is what i'm going to use today. So once i've set once i've sectioned it off, i will just spray this all over. That section smells very good and i will start with small to medium pieces. It depends now i'm using a viewfinder right now. Obviously, i normally do this in front of my large mirror in my bathroom when i'm using a flat iron, i like to hold my hair out like this and curl it backwards versus under now, when you curl with a curling iron, i have a tendency to curl Under but with this, i like to curl backwards now. Another reason i like this is because it does have the clip on it, which helps you decide where it needs to be positioned, so the curls can go in the right direction, because i always like to curl away from my face, and sometimes when i use a Flat iron - i'm like oh well, which way is it just - gets confusing this? I always know to keep the clip on the outside, so i'm going to keep the clip on the outside i'm going to put the hair in go backwards once and pull out now. The under i like to tug these down a little bit because the underside of my hair always gets even more curly and once the top side comes down, it actually kind of gives it volume. But right now i don't want that huge amounts of curl. So again, just clip in automatically turn once pull and you've got to curl. I mean it really honestly could not be easier than that. It could be easier for me to have an actual mirror in front of me, because this viewfinder is not doing the trick, but it's easy to get underneath, because the plates are fully enclosed, like i'm putting my hand around it right now, i am not getting burnt. So you will not burn yourself using this tool. It'S another reason. I love it so much then i will go around the back and pull as many pieces that i can. But look i mean it's truly just one flick of your wrist and pull through, but i mean i'm touching my neck right now and nothing is burning me. So if you have a tendency to burn yourself a lot, this is gon na, be a great tool for you or something similar to this. I'Ve never seen one exactly like this before and then you can kind of see which pieces, let's see, i'm doing the viewfinder. So i'm like feel like i get it in and then i don't still need to be curled and basically just like that this side and the back is curled. So i'm gon na have pieces sticking out like that. That'S, okay! I don't want them to be super. Like tight - and these are much tighter than the above will be so i'm gon na - do this side real, quick and i won't make you watch the whole thing, but i will say that this side is the side. That kind of confuses me sometimes because i'm just not used to it, but having this clip and knowing the clip goes on towards the front, and then you turn it. It'S showing me what direction you turn. So that's another reason again why i just love that clip. Okay and then i take the clip out spray, this top section and work from there so you'll see. I feel like this top section just because it's longer will curl a little bit better but see how easy that comes through and just like that. You'Ve got that little cute beachy wave, and i do all of the top section on this side. This way, just like i did the back or the bottom and honestly it takes me, maybe maybe 10 minutes to curl my hair. Once i get back to these back pieces, i do like to kind of brush them out a little bit because i feel, like i start to get a little frizzy, even though i'm not prone to frizzy hair and just pull it through voila. I don't know that i've ever used an easier styler than this again. If you have super thick hair, i don't and long hair. I don't know that you're gon na love this, but let me know if you have tried this and you do have thick hair. My oldest daughter was not blessed and got my hair. I gave her my thin hair. My youngest has chad's super thick hair um, i mean he's just got a glorious head of black hair and so audrey kate got his thick hair saying that i can't use even most straighteners on her and it actually curl your hair um. I use my t3 curling iron on hers to curl her hair, but then cortland who's got my hair. This works great on her and it's longer, but it's it's just as thin and then once i'm done with the side, i'll kind of pull the curls out - and i know it looks super puffy, but we have an end in sight. I promise so once i'm done with both sides, i'll kind of judge it up for lack of a better phrase and then i'll see if there's any kind of spots that i've missed, and i don't really think there is so. I will shut this off and then i'll continue to judge and pull my fingers through. These are a little tighter than i normally do. I think, because i was using my viewfinder - see how this one kind of stuck out as straight i'm using my other mirror. Sorry. So while this is still warm i'll, just run it through real quick just so there's no super straight pieces, then i will take some hairspray whatever's lying around. I don't typically use hairspray, except for this, so i just use whatever chad has, because it takes him longer to style his hair than it does mine and just a light spraying of that. It'S just gon na help kind of i don't want it to be sticky or anything. It'S just gon na help ensure that the curls stay as long as possible and then, if i wanted to i'm not going to, but if i wanted to add a little bit more body up here, i would just spray some of this living proof up at the Roots and kind of judge it up now again, this is a little kinkier than it normally is. This will start to fall throughout the day, but with all the products that i have used, i will have a wave in my hair until i wash it next. So i have had a wave stay in my hair for up to three or four days before which is insane for my super fine, thin hair, and i just think that it's, like the culmination of all these products together, really helps that texture to stay in the Hair so second day, i can kind of start flipping because it's more of a wave and not of a curl, but for the first day i just kind of keep it where it is, and i don't i don't tend to mess with it as much when it's Curled, that's that that is the extent of how i style my hair again, when i'm doing it without talking. I can do all of that within 10 minutes, which is why i do it more often than not now, because before when i felt like, i would want to style my hair. I just felt like it took so long, but this is cut down the time, which means i do it more, which means my hair has more texture and volume and wave to it than it ever has before. So. Hopefully, you found this video helpful. I will link all the products that i talked about and or showed throughout this tutorial down in the description box. So, thank you all so much for watching, i hope, you're all staying happy, healthy, safe and sane and then most of all you go out and have a very blessed day.

Marni Dillon: Mine just arrived from Ulta and I couldn’t wait to try it. OMG! It is marvelous. Thank you so much for the review and demo. It is so easy to use.❤️ Merry Christmas.

Christine B.: Thank you for this video!! I’ve been eyeing this styler for a couple of months, so I just ordered it!

Pamela Clay: This was so helpful - thank you!

B A: I appreciate this video. I've tried so many shampoos, tools, styling products, styling wands/rollers, vitamins, no heat, and silk pillowcases. Things are getting better now that I started Olaplex 0 and 3 a month ago and cut back my highlighting.

Lynn DeCarlo: From a stylist.. GREAT JOB! You gave some great tips for fine hair folks! ‍♀️‍♀️. ❤ I've tried probably 30 dry shampoos but I still have to try the Living proof.

Diane Braden: Thank you I also have short, thin, fine hair and also can see my scalp. I will try the powder on my roots. My hair is a little shorter than yours and I have layers. Today I used my dyson air wrap and followed your directions and my hair looks so full and pretty. I am anxious to see how it looks tomorrow.

linda dee: Hey Mandy :-)) Loved watching this and I'm going to try it this time ha ha. My hair is thin too!! oxoxox

Kathryn P: I like watching hair videos, because they usually give me ideas on how to improve what I can do to my own hair.

Marissa Brashear: Thank you for this video. I am also a member of the fine, thin, short hair club

Kathryn Parsons: I’m a newer subscriber.. Great video! I’ve got the same hair type and issue w/ my scalp. I’ve never considered using a powder to cover up bare spots. I do have a couple questions...after you wash your hair at night do you do anything special to make it not get all flat and get kinks all in it from sleeping on it? Do you do a full on blow dry? Sorry if you mentioned this and I missed it. Also, your lashes are lovely!!! Is it the Bare Minerals mascara that is just that good or do you have great lashes to begin with? ☺️ Thanks!!

laura Sutton: Thanks for sharing your hair tips!

SWS: your eyes and skin look so pretty here! your hair color compliments them perfectly <3 do you blow dry/round brush your hair?

the vagabond tribune: I struggle with thin, fine hair, too. It's gotten worse since my Hashimoto's was triggered. As a Leo it is super disappointing to have such sad hair. :-( Thank you for this video!

Lisa: Great vid! Thx for always such informative and wonderful ones! Also love your sweater, are you able to link it?!

Debra Bly: Great video! On days that you don't wash your hair, do you have a special shower cap to avoid your hair getting wet in the shower? I always struggle with that!!

Tonya Suttie: Great video. I have the same hair. Does the Lange leave a mark on your hair? I can’t use a curling iron because the clamp leaves a line. I will check out the Madison Reed powder.

Gael Nuyens: thanks for this share :) You should try a wet slicked back hairstyles, shoudl be great on you :)

Sarah V: Hi Mandy thanks for the video, I have very fine hair too that I'm very self conscious about. Could I please ask what watch are you wearing>

K Leavins: I have went back and forth between getting this or the dyson air wrap. Does this work well as a flat iron?

sherie light: Good morning, you are giving out shades of Princess Grace, you are probably to young to get that but she was stunning!! I need that flat iron in my life!! Many blessings to you and your family.

Pascale Vallet: Very petty love it

Laura W.: Are you still loving the le duo 360?
