Hi, you guys welcome back to my channel. It is just lynette here and if you guys are new, then god bless welcome. Today, i'm going to be showing you guys how i achieved this braid and curl that you see before you and honey. This is slowly peeping up to be one of my favorite styles to execute on my relaxed 4c hair, because what is not to love there is bounce. There is definition body, shine everything honey, it's given what it's supposed to have gave - and i am here for it. So if you guys are um interested in seeing how i did this, then please, i'm hoping you stick around. This was done freshly washed and blow-dried here. So we're going to start off with aunt jackie's, don't shrink, flaxseed, elongating, curly, gel and then or rest oil, moisturizing, hair lotion with castor oil. Then we're going to have white tooth comb, a rat tail comb as well as a duckbill clip butterfly clips and, lastly, we're going to have a pink perm rod. This is one of the smallest sizes, so i'm going to start off by making a center part down the front half of my head um. That is the style i kind of want to go with a just a straight center part. So i'm gon na try and get it as straight as i can so. At this point, the video you guys will notice that my lips are moving, and that is because i originally did this video with the intent to talk through the process with you guys as i did it, but i quickly realized that my camera, my quality, was not Up to the standards of which i had hoped so now here i am doing a voiceover because i would prefer to give you guys a better quality. So, as you can see, i put away um one half of my hair onto one side. I'M gon na work on the other half, so i'm using my rat tail comb to get my first section, but in reality you guys, i don't even think you need a comb. I would probably advise you to use your fingers, because what i learned from this process is that my parts are even more prominent now that my hair is straight versus when it was relaxed, they would kind of disappear on their own. So i honestly for a more seamless execution. I would advise you to probably try not to get super straight parts like i did like honestly. You could just use your fingers, so once i'm done separating this section, you guys i'm going to just quickly just run the comb through it in case there's any tangles in there and then i'm going to apply product. So the first product i'm going to apply is going to be the gel, so i'm going to apply about a dime size amount of that gel and you can see um on my hand, it's really not a lot okay, so i'm gon na take that and i'm Also gon na take a little bit of the hair lotion as well, and i'm gon na mix those two together in my hands and then i'm gon na apply that to the ends of my hair and working it up. So the reason for me doing this - you guys is so that i kind of create somewhat of like a cream gel formula, and i don't apply too much of either because i don't want my hair to be too crunchy. And i don't want my hair to be too wet so now, i'm gon na start doing the braid or the cornrow um. I'M not gon na really go into too much detail with this part. Because, honestly, i believe you guys know how to cornrow by now. If not, i mean there's millions of videos on youtube. If you want me to do a video, let me know, but i think you guys kind of understand this part of the process uh. So i'm gon na take my perm right now and, as you can see, my camera already has end papers on them and that just protects my hands from getting sat and whatnot. So i'm gon na just curl the end and then i'm gon na wrap it upwards. So you guys can see. I wasn't joking. The audio is literally terrible, but yeah the most. The rest of this video is basically going to be repetition until i get to the takedown process, so i'm just gon na step away for a little while and just let you guys watch me go through you're trying to this. I don't want to make a huge mistake: china um, you can't understand me me. I don't want to be with you if you keep on deceiving me with all these things. Tell me me all right. You guys, i am all done. As you can see, i did a total of nine braids. It'S not done any specific type of parting um, because, honestly, once i take it down, you're not gon na really see any of it. So all i'm gon na do now is just oil, my scalp and then throw on my fondant and let it dry and set overnight. Oh so, the oil i'm going to be using is just the virgin peppermint growth oil, and i got this from the beauty. Supply store, i'm pretty sure you can pick it up homes and every supply store. You can see almost every single one that i go into. Okay and i will be back tomorrow to show you guys. The finished results all right, you guys it is the next day the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and i got ta go to work honey. So i'm trying to make this really quick. Okay, so i'm gon na start off with my camille rose, coconuts and honey growth. Serum i'm gon na lightly apply that to my fingertips. Just so, i can reduce as much fruit as possible in this takedown process, so i'm gon na take the top off and i'm gon na unravel it in a backwards motion to again reduce frizz, and you can see honey. Look at the definition right there look at the bounce. Look at the shine. I am so excited for this takedown process. Okay, so you guys just watching, let's just get the enders all together me me me. I don't want to be with you if you keep on deceiving me with all these things. Tell me what you think you're the only one to make it right mistake, so i'm going to use my hair pick to fluff out my hair and also help disguise some of those harsh lines that i created when parting my hair. Like i told you guys, it's a lot harder to disguise it um when your hair is straight, so to avoid having to do less fluff and in the end i advise not making too straight of parts when sectioning your hair, oh and another trick that i used Specifically, for the back of my hair was that i did not do a center part going straight back, because when i do styles like this, you will see that center part at the very back of my head. So i put a braid instead down the center to kind of cover that up and make everything blend nicely. Alright, you guys that is it for my video. I hope you guys, like the results, let me show you guys the back. I may have some more fluffing out to do, but i love how curly it is. I love how defined it is how shiny it is. I'M excited. I can't wait to wear it and um, i'm probably going to flip it out a little bit more before i head off to work. But let me guys, let me know in the comment section you guys if you like this video, if you want to see me, do more styling here, videos like this until next time i'll see you guys be blessed.
