Hey guys, it's me lily today, i'm gon na be showing you guys my five go-to easy heatless hairstyles for straight and wavy hair. I'Ve not worn this hairstyle in like two years because, like all of my junior and senior year, i used a ton of heat, but since quarantine started, i wanted to stop using heat on my hair, so i'm trying to let it get healthy er than it currently Is let's get started? Okay, so this is my natural hair um it doesn't have any product in it. It'S usually a lot like wavier when there's product in it. I think there's a picture right now. Um. I used to have really straight hair, but i'm lesion. So my mom's side is irish, so they have pretty curly hair and then my dad, i mean my mom's other half and then my dad is malaysian and that's a pretty silky like asian hair texture from the first hairstyle. I'M going to show you guys. This is my favorite hairstyle right here. I used to do it when i straighten my hair, but i really like how it looks with just natural hair, so you can start you're supposed to start with, like a middle part for all of these um. But i don't like how i look in the middle part, so i always do a little bit off to the side like right. There yeah some people are able to pull it out once they already did the hairstyle, but like i do not look good when i do that, so i can't i just pull it out ahead of time and then i just start braiding. So if you don't know the french braid um, this is a really simple way to start learning how to french braid, because i know how to brush it, but i'm pretty bad at it. But you want to start off by just doing a regular braid and do it like about like two or three times. And then you want to take a small amount of hair and add it to the braid. And then you do the same. On the other side. And you don't want to go all the way to the back. My friend taught me how to cut my hair like a year ago, and i just it was olivia and i just was so bad at it, but i just kept trying, and now i got the hang of it. So i want to show you guys how i curl my hair, because i do it really specifically and then straightening my hair. I always have my friend mariana, sometimes okay, so if i'm in a hurry, i'll only do one side, but i i think it looks good with one side or both sides. I think one side sometimes is a lot more like casual and sometimes two sides just feels like too much for me um my my baby hairs like they do this weird thing where it just looks like it's permanently laid, and i don't like how it looks on Me so like i always try to mess them up. I don't know why they do that. This is the first hairstyle really simple. I just feel like it's really cute and it looks pretty polished and like if your hair is like really wavy or if it's like low-key, frizzy, um i'll. Do this hair and then like i'll put it in like a bun or like a ponytail or something. But it still has the braids in it um. I also think it's cute to like pull it back and tie it okay, so this next hairstyle never goes out of fashion because it is perfect when it's hot, because it keeps your hair out of your face. But it's also really cute when it's cold, because it looks so good with like bees and stuff, and it's so simple. I i'm not invented, but i just like to pull my hair into a low pony and i like to use a hair tie that matches my hair color. I only have blonde hair ties and when my hair was blonde, so i just like to make sure it's flat. I did a tick tock of doing hairstyles and i'm really dumb, because i definitely could have just filmed it all as once and then like added them together to make a tick tock and then edit it to make a youtube video. But no i'm doing all of these hairstyles like three times so i just twist my hair into a low bun. So right now i look like you can tell it's a lot about it. It just doesn't look like that good, but if you want you can leave it like. If this was even um, you could leave it like this. It'S very sleek, chic um, looks really put together. It'S like a haley bieber thing to be pulling out a few strands in the front first off. What'S the first thing i'm gon na do then i just tuck this behind my ear, because i don't like um yeah. I feel like it just looks really cute because it's like casual, but it's still like you're. You still look put together and girls somewhat, and i just i really like this hairstyle okay, so this next hairstyle was something again i wore like every day. I think this hairstyle is super cute for medium length, hair um like mine, because it just it looks really cute for short to medium i'd, say um, so i start off by again. You should have a middle part. I hate how i look in a middle part. So i'm just not gon na do it and i usually will use like um a rat tail, it's gon na, say rat tooth. So like that and then again i take those invisible, clear elastics and i just want to smooth it over because this one this one. I will do as many times so i don't have a like bumpy. I hate how this looks. It'S like a regular half a half down um, but so what i'll do is first of all hold down that hair. While you pull out your side pieces, which i should have done in the beginning now i just take those pieces and i tighten them to get them right. On top of my head like that, except the bumps look bad. So what i'll do is i'll pull it inside the hair to see? If i can get that piece down and then i'm gon na do the other side and then i'm just gon na keep kind of going. So you can like see it it's. On top of my head, like that, and the trick to doing that, is you take the pieces closer to the front because it's because those pieces are gon na like pull it in front more like that is pretty simple um. It is just something you can do if you have like a bandana um a scarf like a necktie anything that would really work for this um, so you can do it with a ponytail with a half a path down. You can do it with your hair down. There'S so many different things, but it's just all the hairstyles involving like a little hair scarf. So the one i'm going to be showing you guys is just a half a half down. So i'm just going to start off by sectioning my hair gathering the hair. Behind my head that i want it in and i'm going to start it off as tight as possible. If you don't like how tight it is, that's totally fine because it's going to loosen up and then i'm just going to 18 is um and then that's it. I feel like it just gives a very effortless mamma mia vibe to my hair um. I really like it. I feel like it just makes my hair look a little put together and i feel, like it looks really cute like a dress. Last hairstyle is something i used to wear a lot. It was when i was doing at the beginning of the video, but i'm going to show you guys specifically how to do it again. You want to do a male part. If you don't like how you look in the middle part like and then so i feel like you know the stuff that bella hadid does with her with her ponytails and stuff um and then take a few pieces out like that, and so you can side part Your front pieces and then do a middle part for the rest of your hair. I do this one because this one, it really bothers me if it's not like equal half half, and so i start by twirling it and it's similar to that little pony. We did earlier and then i twirl it into a bun on this side, and i like, to put it like i'd, say the fourth quadrant of my head. If that makes sense, i want it to be squeaking a little to the side, but mostly on the back of my head. I feel like if it's too much peeking to the side, you're gon na look like princess leia and that's not the complete vibe we're going for we're going for her essence, not fluffier, because i like how that like fluffy look, looks and then the fluffiness also makes It peek out more to hairstyle. I think it's super cute and it pulls your hair out of your face, which is so cute. If you like, butterfly clips and stuff, you can clip your you can put these pieces behind your ears and then like clip it um. If you like, barrettes or whatever you can add those - and i just think these are my easy go-to hairstyles that are heatless and i think they're cute, if you want to like put together and cute during quarantine, but without having to use heat or damage your hair And yeah, that's it for the video. I hope you guys enjoyed and i'll see you guys next week, bye
