Ok I know it took me 1000000 years to finally upload this but life has been really crazy for the past month

Some notes: I do this on dry hair! Not damp or wet. Also, you can tie a scarf around your head if you're scared it'll move while you're sleeping but I would only recommend this if absolutely necessary; it does reduce volume and I like big waves

How are you all holding up? I think I'd be fine if I could go to the gym but staying inside my apartment all day is making me feel really sluggish I hope you're all staying safe and healthy though!

Recently, I've been baking to relieve stress but it's actually becoming a problem my fridge is full of waffles, mochi, banana bread, and probably apple cobbler by tomorrow if I'm feeling sad enough lol...and I can't even give any of these to my friends anymore bc nobody's leaving the house!! I really am gonna be rolling out of quarantine huh

I'll probably film a chit chat GRWM soon! Please leave questions or topics you want me to talk about in the comments so it feels more like a conversation LOL I'm going insane

♡ xo

Hello, everybody welcome back to my channel. My name is Jessica and today's video is going to be on my heatless waves routine. I first saw this from Marcela Tumas on YouTube, but it is a little bit tricky. So if you want to see how I get perfect loose waves, using no heat, keep on watching To start off, you'll need a robe belt and four hair ties. You could probably use knee socks or tights as long as whatever you use is relatively thick. So the curls don't turn out too tight, and you also want to make sure whatever you're using is at least twice as long as your hair, since it has to go on both sides. First center, the robe belt on your head. I did one side off camera to show you what it should look like Grab a section of hair at the top of your head about the size of a section. You would normally curl and twist it around the robe belt, Make sure you're not pulling the section too hard to the point that the hair at the top of your head is completely flat. If you do it'll be near impossible to get volume back at the base. In the morning After you twist that section around the belt grab a section of the same size below it and join it with the previous section Twist it around the belt again tighter this time. The sections after the first can be pulled tight around the belt, but the first just needs to be a little loose, so you can have volume at the top Continue doing this – grabbing a section adding it to the previous one and twisting it around the robe Belt until eventually it's all just one thick section of hair, This is super simple and if you try to overcomplicate it, like I did the first time I tried it, it will turn out bad, so just stick to what I'm doing And now this is the last Section so from this point, I'm just wrapping everything around the robe belt. Until I run out of hair, Keep twisting downwards and make sure no sections are overlapping. Before securing with a hair tie To ensure everything's tight, I'm twisting everything outwards before tying it into a bun. All done Time for bed Good morning, I'm gon na start removing all the hair ties. After you've taken out all of the hair ties gently unravel the hair. Do not try to pull down everything at once, Untwist everything in the opposite order that you twisted section by section like you're rewinding, the process. After we remove the robe belt, we can start separating the curls which will loosen up the waves. You can fluff it out. However, you see fit I'm going to do the rest of my makeup and then I'll show you how I do a little touch-up, Finally, spray hairspray to keep the waves locked in place, And that concludes this heatless waves routine. Thank you so much for watching. I hope this was helpful. I haven't used my curling iron in over a month since I started doing this and I actually like how these waves look better. So let me know if you try it too Remember to like comment and subscribe, and I will see you in my next video ♡

Isabella Mina: Quarantine mood: sleeping uncomfortable with a robe belt twisted around my hair to get nice waves that literally NO ONE but my dog will see update: he liked it

No Idea: Okay, but like: how can someone be THAT pretty?!

Oi It's Me: I'm gonna be looking like a snack for my online class where I leave my camera off the whole time

arax kotanjian: Tried this yesterday, here are my thoughts: •the rope was really easy to put on the hair, took like 5 minutes •kind of uncomfortable to sleep in, but if you put the buns low and have them rest on your neck, its a lot better •the front of my hair looked sooo amazing in the morning, but the back that weren't wrapped around the rope as much stayed pretty much completely straight •doing the routine on damp hair helped keep the waves in place without hairspray hope this was helpful!

Mariam Ferwiz: i LOVE how my hair looks when i do this but has anyone else found it super painful to sleep in??

Bonnie Lu: I can't wait to try this tonight even though no one is going to see me tmr

SugaCookie🌸: “Make sure the belt is twice as long as your hair since it has to go over both sides” me and me knee length hair be like

moonflower: Step 1: already have super healthy, straight and voluminous hair

Misa aaa: Honestly I love how everyone in the comments is giving tips about this it's kinda wholesome-

froot loops: for anyone with frizzy, wavy/loosely curled hair, i did this and it worked for me! use bigger sections of hair for bigger waves and opposite for smaller curls, brush out to loosen any ringlets and use hairspray/hair oil to take away any leftover frizz ❤️ also, my hair is thick but quite malleable so keep that in mind too

오늘리사: The more you learn during quarantine the more it benefits next school year

a username: Me: *Has naturally curly hair* Also me: *Watches video in its entirety*

Cookie Abby: IM TYPING IN CAPS SO PEOPLE SEE THIS COMMENT OMG IT TURNED OUT SO PRETTY AND TOOK ME ONLY A FEW HOURS IT WAS PERFECT THANK YOU I FEEL SO ADORABLE ok that's it thank you for reading :3

Grass Weird: This truly works. I mean, iwas so surprised, but the results were just beautiful. They look so natural, and stay for the entire day. I honestly couldn't recommend it more!

victoria ongko: review: i didn't really expect this to work because of my short, slightly layered hair, my bad luck when it comes to beauty-related things, and my lack of materials (i swapped the rope belt and scrunchies for tights and hair elastic). to my surprise, it worked (after the most uncomfortable night of my life lol, i woke up over five times throughout the night). i'll definitely try this again once my hair grows out :)

Akane kang: Just did this and it worked so well! After a couple hours, the curls were softer and I LOVED IT! For sleeping, I recommend sleeping on a big pillow with part of your shoulder resting on the pillow so your shoulder takes some of the pressure off your head! Still kinda uncomfortable to sleep but that helped me a lot :)

artsy.craftsy.writer: it actually worked! this tutorial is amazing, and i would definitely recommend! it was a little painful to sleep in but you gotta do what you gotta do :D edit: i also tried this out for a dance and it lasted a while, definitely because of that hair spray!

Emily Downs: yall i’m doing it rn and i can’t sleep bc i tied the buns by my ears also my hair is thick, i have 3A curls and my hair doesn’t air dry very well so let’s see how this goes. (i’m leaving it to dry for 12 hours btw) the results: didn’t work at first because my hair was too wet and didn’t dry so i did it again and sprayed my dry hair with water then put it in the twists and it came out amazing.

sara adawi: that moment : when you think that this tutorial will totally help you but then you remember that your hair is naturally wavy

Samantha Yeung: When she got dizzy spraying hairspray I felt that LOL

Dahyun 103: Just wanted to say this works! I’ve done it twice now and the results were great, even for my thin, fine hair. I have just a few tips however, incase you want to attempt this. If your hair is prone to frizziness, or you know you toss and turn a lot at night, I recommend dampening your hair before you do it. It also helps to get each piece of hair wrapped around and makes it easier. Second, don’t pull it tight! There’s no need to pull it tightly. As long as it’s secured to your head it will work amazingly, but if you have pulled it tight enough to feel it tugging on your scalp it will probably be hard for you to get to sleep. Definitely trying this again. :)

Joedy Spiteri: Soooooooo good ❤️❤️ my hair turned out so pretty in the morning! And I found a comfortable way to sleep so definitely will do on work nights! Cuz it's so quick and it looks like uve spent hours on it! ❤️❤️ Thanks so muchhh

a_pplepi: YOO IT WORKS REALLY WELL! but the curls are sometimes too tight so if its too tight for your liking, just put your hair in a messy-ish bun all together while you get ready for the day then take it out when you're about to leave, spray some hairspray on a brush and brush through :) thats what i do and it looks really nice :>

zuha: I used to have to do the tightest Dutch braids ever to get curls and they would only last half of the school day!this worked so well! And it kept the curls for over 10 hours!!!So happy you shared this!☺️✨

JohFam JellyJam: When you don't how to fix your hair for school the next day to look cute infront of your crush but you find out you don't have a curler.. this is quite helpful!! Thank you

Rinka: This is literally the best heatless wave tutorial My hair looked so good doing it

yosefina sekar: I did this yesterday and I'M IN LOVE with the result! Totally worked ❤

Dia_: I tried this and it worked SO well on my butt-length hair. It was amazing! It is difficult to sleep on it, however. the curls came out so well that I didn't want to separate it, haha and I think it stayed for half a day without any sprays or anything but I do recommend dampening your hair a bit so that it stays longer.

toffee.: use me as the: "I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS" button

Taisha Peplowska: I’m dating this boy and his parents invited me over for dinner. I slept with this on my head the whole night and this morning the curls are so beautiful ! I usually can’t get my hair to curl with a curling iron because they’re too thick. Thank you

Larissa: Found that I had the best results when wearing a silk sleeping cap or using a silk pillow case- makes the hair less frizzy and disheveled in the morning.

Maisie S: If you guys are struggling to sleep move the buns further back (if you sleep on your side) or further forward (if you sleep in your back) ♥️♥️ Oo also, spend extra time on the ends because they tend to kink unless you lay them carefully

ThëGøōdWįtćh: This one actually works well without them getting frizzy. It’s comfy to sleep in too. ☺️

kendra lewis: Thank you for sharing this, this was one of the best tutorials for this hair style I've seen! My hair turned out so cute!

Cori san: Omg your videos are so amazing and I really love it, I tried to curling my hair but it does work but you just save my life by making this video! thank you :>

Taru _: love how nice and simple this tutorial was. No unneccesary crap inbetween

honey crossing: This is great! I had a important presentation and this fit perfectly with my outfit. Super easy to sleep in too! Pro tip: wear a two clips( recommend pearl) and put them both on the same side! Super cute. ❤️ ♥️

Mr. Fahrenheit: me with natural wavy hair: let’s watch this anyway

Min: This works like a charm!! Thank you so much for the tutorial

White Radish: This is literally my go to heatless waves now.

•Tianne May Pearson•: This is actually a clear tutorial n I love it!! Thankyou!!!

emma: omg i am soooo happy I tried it last nigh just took it out and it looks SO GOOD!! THANK YOUUUU

Levanter: Omg! The waves are so pretty!! ❤️❤️. Thank you for sharing this idea!

nini brv: Vou tentar fazer com certeza

Sara The Cow: As someone who has natural curls, a braid literally does this for me. I just leave it overnight and take down my hair and BOOM CURLSS

Gently Made: I´m doing this and my hair looks amazing!! Here are some things that I noticed: 1 - Don´t wear any type of absorbent fabric (i used thigh high cotton socks at my first try), It will create more frizz in the crown of the head; 2 - If you have lots of layers in your hair it may look shapeless, like a big mess of hair :c It tend to look better at the next day, and you can also brush the waves lightly, it won´t come off; 3 - If toss and turn in your sleep and you have longer hair, try to wrap the first strand of hair a little lower than your ears, so the roll will rest on your neck and you can sleep in any position; 4 - My hair is wavy, so I like to brush and aply some leave in cream (I don´t know how to say this in english) and then wrap the hair, so it won´t come off too frizzy; 5 - If your fabric is long enough, you can wrap it aroun itself and pull through, just like a normal bun without a elatic, it will be secure and no more than 2 elastic will be needed. Embrace your interior princess Leia!

martha buxton: I'm going to try this right now! it's a little irritating and tight but i'll see you in the morning! good night <3 its the morning and it’s worked so well! i give it a 9.5/10 as it is a little uncomfortable to sleep in ✨

Xochilt S: Thanks sweetie!! I do this now every wash day & my hair looks gorgeous :))) I also get compliments!

Almost Domestic: Tried this last night and it worked like a charm, especially for extra long hair. Thanks!

Ellie Htun: Those curls are so beautiful!! Definitely trying this out tonight!!

Red Draws: I’m doing this rn and I look like Princess Leia’s ugly triplet

Laura Pham: I tried this and guys make sure to lay down on your back because it’s really hard to on your side, my hair came out exactly like this

hey keke: Girl your hair is BEAUTIFUL thanks for the simple video ✨

Priyanka: OMG I'm sooo thankful u made this video it worked on my straight super silky hair I'm gonna try this on my bday

Azena Lee: I tried this and it works!! It lasted about half the day when I did this with my hair dry and the whole day when I did this after showering (slightly wet).

Mai: Am i the only one who thinks she’s looking good even with the hair around the band and then the buns... like dmn it was like a new hairstyle...

i: I recently got a haircut and now I have a bob cut, I tried this out twice and for me it worked better with slightly damp hair as it was easier control, my hair had also dried by the morning so I hope this helps

Jordan Wakefield: I literally spend and hour curling my hair for the curls to all fall before I even leave the house! Doing this tonight!!!

Freya Hutchinson: this worked so well and none of the other videos i’ve watched have worked so i’m definitely doing this ALL the time now

Michel: Okay, so for everyone that's sad because nobody is going to see their stunning hair: Remember we get pretty for ourselves and you don't need any approval. Be happy gurl, you're gorgeous ✨

SeaweedCat: Can't wait for this to turn straight again in 5 minutes after a whole night

Gabriela Aguirre: I love this so much I get these cute curls and I love how it looks too

Ano A: I rarely comment, but this video helped me so much! My hair looks better than when I use a curler. PS! For even better results, use a silk scarf! (You’ll also look cuter too )

taechwita: i did this a year ago with my short hair in quarantine but it didn’t turn out so well since my hair was short, yes a dumb idea but i did it again yesterday with my long hair and now, it looks so good!!

Cloey walker: im going to do this today and show my family tomorrow :D my mum will see it and be shook :) i lovedd your video <3 ty for making!

Taelicious Suga: Step 1: have naturally straight hair that you can Control

지아: me watching this with already naturally wavy hair:

Chany Blejer: Looks great I wanna do it!❤ I love it!!! Thank you!❤

BunnyTheRoseBear: omg!! i can't WAIT to try this!! i'm definitely gonna do this the night before for when i go out on thursday :3c

Crystal Mendoza: Girl you just saved me so much heat damage ✨❤️❤️❤️❤️

mitsu: *no one:* *literally no one:* *Isabelle: sings in the background* *me: LIKED*

sd.sophie: I just did it! I'm so excited to see how it turns out tomorrow ^-^ Update: It didn't work because I showered before doing it. Don't do it with wet hair!

Adarshi Thapa: Just tried today... Very happy with the results!✨

Impressionsish: As a person with dry skin & curls, my first thought is a satin or silk robe belt would work better to lessen frizz, but will lack the thickness needed for curl size. Have oiled my hair up before trying with my cotton robe belt. Fingers are crossed! Looks amazing in your vid!

Luna Moon: I do this overnight whenever I wash my hair (while the hair is still damp so I let it dry overnight) and the waves actually last for over 3 days without any hair spray (I have short hair though that might be why they last that long) tip: you don't have to tie them into two buns if they are uncomfortable at night. you can just wrap them around the belt completely, tie the ends to the belt with some hair ties and then wrap the belt around your head a few times and tie the ends together (again: works perfectly with short hair. idk about long hair but I don't really see the problem)

strawberricka. milk: I did this and the results turned out amazing buuuuut my straight af hair went back to normal after 15 minutes

cc.grace_026: “I’m gonna do the rest of my makeup” SHE WASNT WEARING FULL MAKEUP????? WTF. HOW IS SOMEONE SO EFFORTLESSLY BEAUTIFUL.

entertainer106: GORGEOUS hair!! Such a pretty style on you!

Rinsoka: i love this it works so well!! at least one side did hah... but it really hurts to take out so make sure you use GOOD hair ties!!! also it’s very uncomfortable...to sleep with ;(

Asianndra: HOW DOES YOUR HAIR JUST LOOK LIKE THAT

fairy: I recommend using this, since heat really damages your hair and doing this adds some volume to your hair which is pretty cooool~

Don't Mind Meh :3: Girl u Rock this look ❤️ <3

Some Dude: It’s amazing how you can balance the robe belt on your head without it falling

Flippan: This works sooo well!

leyomi: i’m speechless, she’s so pretty. I CANT, MY BRAINCELLS jUst CANT Y’ALL OMYGOD

Yurii: Anoche lo hice y sí me quedaron! Solo que no me puse spray y los risos bajaron super rápido. Pero de que funciona, funciona.

Daisy: Trying this tonight I’ll let yall know how it goes :) Edit: it works my dude :)

melanie khanal: i did this last night it turned out soo cute

Sarah Faheem: OMG this hairstyle is grog! Gonna try this tonight hopefully it works

Kaitlyn Hong: Is it just me or does she look like she would be in a Disney princess movie

cookiesushy: This worked so well only that it only worked on the bottom part of my hair it was still amazing thank you

Star r: I tried this I recommend doing this my hair ended up looking gorgeous

Kayu Bakar: you can actually heat it up with a hairdryer to fasten the process. And, brush it with a brush that sprayed with hairspray so it'll stay longer

bekie marie: aww so cutee! i can’t wait to try this ‍♀️

I'm ugly as shit: am I the only one who's kinda feeling how the hair looked like when she just wrapped it down with the pink band like thats a cool style...

Emily Downs: yall pro tip: if you sleep on ur side or ur stomach, try to tie the buns nearer the back of your head so you can sleep in the buns! good luck

It’s Jazlyn: I’m trying this tonight just did them! I will update tmr! (Btw I’ve done everything I’m pretty familiar with overnight curls and what works best for me, personally my straight hair really likes two buns one at the top half of my hair and another one in the bottom half but I’m definitely always look for new waves that will make the best curls!!)

Macy: Your hair looks so shiny and healthy!

solar: eu ameiii muito
