Hair tutorial: how to create 2 lazy easy heatless curls / waves overnight with a bun! Quick no-heat curl hairstyles

Want to see how I color my hair? Here's that video ► http://youtu.be/386c1tgcefU

In this video, I'm going to show you, how to curl your hair overnight without heat to create 2 voluminous, heatless curls / waves hairstyles. These are now my favorite no-heat curl methods!

Today's hair tutorial is best done on long and medium length hair..

The first heatless wavy hair look a lot like Victoria's Secret, big messy loose waves. It's quick and easy to do before bed, and even faster to style the curls in the morning for school or work. I'm using a jumbo size donut, but you can make something similar at home using a rolled up socks. Make sure though that your donut is VERY thick. I took a measuring tape and measured the size of the cylinder, and when I wrapped the tape around it, it measured at 5 1/2 inches thick. To duplicate my curls, make sure your donut is the same size. If you use a small donut, your curls will come out tight. Which can also be a cute look. :) It really depends on what size curl you're trying to create with this technique.

The second heatless curls method will take you about 5 minutes to put in and is curlier than the first, no heat curls. I'm going to show you, how to do the lazy pin-curl bun method to curl your hair without heat. I thought these heatless curls turned out a lot like the classic voluminous Kim Kardashian curls. They're big, soft and very glam and sexy.

Try out these simple everyday curls for school, work, prom, homecoming, or weddings.

Your momma Needs new hair. I'M going to show you two easy Lazy way to curl your hair without heat overnight that you can do in about five minutes or less So here's what I put in my hair. So if my hair is dry, I use some water to dampen the ends and then this next step is an optional step. But for me It's a necessarity, because hair loss in women runs in my family. So I'm gon na use the hair growing serum here by Grow Gorgeous all over my crown, because that's where I lose hair. Remember this picture for two years ago. I try to tell you guys the situation in my older tutorials. Well well anyway. So I've been using hair growing serums like this for the past two years and As you guys can see the difference here, it certainly does help. So if you got the same problem or if you're experiencing hair loss in any form Grow Gorgeous is definitely something you should check out.. I was using my action before I switch to this about month and a half ago, and I really love it, because I do notice my hair falling less then switching to this.. I also love how this is not a messy mousse form like a lot of hair loss. Products are in., I mean I've tried, it all believe me.. So the way that you see Grow Gorgeous is once a day at night, and I mean every single day. I apply this., Even when I don't wash my hair. I apply this at night, then I massage it into my scalp for about two minutes for the medicine to do it, magical things to my hair follicles.. Then, during this time my scalp is tingling. So if you get this expect that as well And then in the morning I just down my hair as usual before going to work, if you guys would like more scientific info, there are plenty of that on their website and I'll leave. You guys a link and a discount code for guys to use down below. Now, if you guys are using this before doing A no heat, curl method, what we're gon na Do is let it dry. You cannot put other stuff. On top of this, you have to make sure this stuff is absorbed completely Before doing anything else. Okay, So once., It's dry, we're gon na use what I'm gon na use some soft hold mousse.. This is also optional, but for me, because I have hard to curl hair - and I happen to like big hair too. I'M gon na use it pretty much everywhere, but you can use this mousse or a gel if you like, on your scalp, to create volume and use it on your end. If You need hold. And then we're gon na make a high ponytail - and you want this pretty high on your head, so that you can sleep like a baby., Alright, So for the first heatless wave, I'm gon na use a jumbo size doughnut that I got from The Sally Beauty Supply inside your pony through the hole And if your hair is as thick as mine, we're gon na split it into two sections and wrap them one by one around the doughnut smoothly. But if your hair is thin or it's not as thick as mine., You can do this in just one section.. So there are two ways you can finish: this. You can either let it hang loose. So the ends will come out straight or What I did was just pin the bobby pin the ends down on top of a doughnut so that it will tuck under. And then just leave this in for about at least eight hours. Remove the doughnut and then apply some argan oil and you're, basically done No joke. It literally took about 15 seconds to smooth out the curls to make it look. This good. Someone's been asking me how to do: pin curls lately, so instead of teaching you that out dated and uncomfortable to sleep in classic, pin curl pattern, I'm going to show you an easier way to go about it because believe me, This is cheaper, easier, faster And you'll get more sleep This way. Okay, So apply. All the same products then make another high ponytail, and for this we're gon na make five pin curls.. Well, five, your hair is as long and as thick as mine Do less. If your hair is thinner, I would say: make three pin curls instead, so we're gon na start wrapping a section of hair around three fingers, Then tuck the ends of your hair inside the curl before pinning both openings of a curl with a bobby pin against the Base of the ponytail, So what we're doing here is grabbing a section of hair and wrapping it around three fingers right now right before you get to the Ends, we're gon na stick that ends inside the curl itself, Place the curl against the ponytail elastic and use Two bobby pins, so one on each opening to secure it down and that's basically it. And then eight hours later remove all the bobby pins. Apply. Hair oil of some sort on your ends Then remove a ponytail elastic band to smooth out your hair apply more oil. If needed, And we're basically done this second look took about one minute to straighten out, I would love to know your favorite method from today down below., I love both Nohe curl methods, because there's no fussing afterwards whatsoever. You can basically Remove the pins and leave for work or school right afterwards. If you guys miss my how I dye my hair Tutorial that I released earlier this week, the link to it will be down below, Along with the discount codes, be sure to LIKE and subscribe and I'll see you guys again. Next week., I love you. Bye,

Jill Rose: "today I'm going to show u how to get amazing curls in 5 minutes or less!" *8 hrs later* "then we take out the bobby pins and we have gorgeous loose curls!"

Sam Ozkural: it loos so cute even in the bun like that hahah loved this can't way to try it

Elise Marx: Second method works very well but after weeks of doing it, I found foam curlers in stores and so I put my hair in a ponytail with 3 foam curlers and the result is the same but its easier to do :)

SelfMadeDad: I'm glad to see you do this too! I've been doing this for years and it's so helpful for moms who have less time. I use a scrunchie or just a ponytail holder and wrap it under and over the holder and spray. Leave it overnight and it'll stay for 2 days.

Lc Marina: The second one is my daily hair curling routine, I love it and I get so many compliment. Goes perfectly with my vintage clothing style. Thank you!

Lucy R.: Thank you. As a mother of 5 there's really a limited time to get ready. Love your methods ☺

Shine Bright: just wanted to say THANK YOU. I haven't been able to curl my hair without sponge rollers overnight and these methods are so easy. They work!

Eva Pusztai: Hey ! this tutorial is really cool ! I have never seen my hair with such beautiful curls. The only thing: they don't last for long. What do you suggest keeping them longer than 1 hour ? :S Thank you ! Eva

Katie French: Tried this hair tutorial last night my hair looks amazing when I woke up and it's so comfy to sleep in and takes seconds to do in the night!! Over the moon today thank you xxxxxxx.

GabbyLolz: I absolutely love the last one! It’s exactly what I was looking for so thank you so much for showing us it!! I wanted to get that look naturally without using a curling iron because I don’t wanna buen my hair everyday so it was extremely useful new subscriber!

Carol Incitti: I have watched soooo many over night hair style videos... and mostly I end up with crazy and or frizzy hair. Not to mention many were uncomfortable to sleep in. Your pincurl idea is just perfect! Everyone has Bobby pins and a pony tail holder. Huge volume, takes no time, comfortable, beautiful results. I can't tell you how excited I am! No more crazy hair for me! THANK YOU! ❤ I have short, layered hair-so I put the top up as you do, and pincurl the rest.

Yaritza Prieto: I love this ! so fast and easy ! Made my hair into hollywood classic curls ! I tried the second method ♡

L Luu: Love this! I tried method #1 yesterday and the curls came out beautifully. The only downside is that my curls lasted for only about two hours before they deflated and went straight ☹. I sprayed some hairspray on it but I don't think it helped. Is there any products you can recommend to apply either before or after to help the curls hold? Cheers

ZiggyLu 2022: LOVED this video! I’ve been wanting to know how to make big pretty curls like these for years and never could. Now I know easy ways how to. Awesome!

jessica lowery: I have been using your pin curl high pony tail technique for a few weeks now! I love it- took a little practice to get the size right for my hair, but y'all try this. also, I started using an old scrunchy to do the high ponytail to avoid damage.

Ferda İdil Bilik: I loved it so much. Every tutorial on youtube consists of either heat based waves or pretty complicated steps. Thanks a lot for this

Amanda Fernandes: I do these curls everyday and I have got a lot of compliments the first method works best for my hair type thank you so much

C B: Your hair is so beautiful. I most definitely will be trying this out. So far I only have tried the pinterest T shirt halo curls which work amazing once you get it right I think but I am starting to actually try different ways of curling so I will be giving this a try.

anahata2009: Just a thought—if you've been losing hair regularly, you might want to test for anemia. Hair loss can happen when you're iron deficient (there can be other causes, too, but that's a relatively easy one to test for and "fix" with diet or supplements).

iheart myvibe: omg! i love it...it totally worked..and btw i used this second method, and ut turned out to be amazing. super gorgeous

Klára Allyson: I tried the second one & it worked pretty well even if I'm not as good in doing hairstyles as you :-) You're literally the BEST one here on Youtube, I'll try more of your hairstyles and hopefully it will work for me :-) Thank you for sharing your ideas! By the way, I know you're propably really busy and many people asks you but I have a Youtube channel as well so if you'd like you can check it out and let me know your opinion :-) It would mean a lot to me, from the HAIR GURU :-) xoxo Klára

gold zipper: I'm about to try your pin curls method tonight! Thank you for these videos, they're so easy to follow and helpful. :)

Ollie Saldana: Thanks, it actually worked for me even though I had it for about 4 hours. I used the big hair donut from Sally's, small bobby pins, gel and hairspray.

Tatiana Leon: Wonderful wavy curls! Thanks for the tutorial!

Siham Soleil: Img these curls looks incredible thanks for sharing your styling tips with us

Eu Sei: Your hair looks beautiful--and so do you. The last up-do looks almost good enough to go out! Reminds me of the 30's and 40's. Thank you for sharing these great ideas. UPDATE: I just tried the second version. I have TONS of hair, which makes it very heavy. It was very difficult to insert the bobby-pins (I always had trouble with them); they wouldn't stay. And since I have so much hair, there were too many curls. The result was that after 15 minutes my head was pounding and I just removed the whole thing! I guess you have to be used to wearing ponytails. I can't due to the weight of hair.

tinkerbelliana: I love your no heat tutorials! So simple, but yet something I wouldn't have thought of myself!

Iman-Ali Beg: wow! you really make the styles look so easy, love it

She Has Red Hair: this is beautiful! I'm going to try the pin curls. my hair dries curly on the bottom and straight on the top, hopefully doing this at night will help a lot! thanks for the tutorial!

sweetdeb100: Wow, is it truly that easy to have amazing curls? AWESOME. Thank you.

CatSpeech: Regardless if the non-sock bun works or not its an ADORABLE hair style with side bangs! I feel like one of the Bennett sisters from Pride and Prejudice!

tangowhiskie: Wow I can't wait to try both of these out! I also did both of your hair dying tutorials and I'm so pleased with my results - my grays were poking out in the front and my ombré was brassy and flat. Tina you are so good to us!!

AnastasiaKingsnorth FAN: This is the most helpful hair tutorial I have EVER come across!!! I have tried sooo many heatless curl methods believe me! But when I tried these, I realised I have been wasting so much time!! THANK YOU so much for this video!!! You have earned yourself a new subscriber : )

elenasaurrus rex: this is SOOOO good for my hair type. we have very similar hair length and texture. thank you so much!

Rysa Suha: I loved the second way you curled your hair without heat.

Freya J: omg this will help me soooo much thank you !!!! I naturally have curly hair but when I don't wash it every day it goes really frizzy! but this is great ! and easy <3

Bipasha Haque: Both methods are so simple yet effective, not sure which one to try first! It's clear how hard you work on your videos and I'd like to thank you for that, I really appreciate it and learn a lot from you :) ❤️

US N: Looks amazing! Thank you very much. I have a ton of hair too, to curl it all would take a long time. I will try this tonight

Jessica S: This is sooooo beautiful! Such fabulous, voluminous romantic curls! Like a Pantene commercial! Too bad my hair is already curly (super small curls) but I SO want this look— just not sure my hair will behave enough to achieve it

xChristiane: this is genius! I def gonna try this, because i always hate heatless curls that gonna disturb my sleep. this is perfectt

Connie Estrada: The last one looks like the one for me. I can easily wash it it, let it air dry, add in some choice product, set and let it work its own magic. Thank you so much. All styles looked fabulous.

Leah Varner: This video is so amazing! I love both methods!! And you are so beautiful!

Ronja D: I tried similar methods before, but it hurts when I put my hair down the next day and the pain stays until I wash my hair the next time.. the curls are cute anyways

Camila Zucarelli: I made the first and works very well, thank you

Stephanie F: Wonderful tips! I love these, thanks for sharing sis❤️

Marissa Ward: Trying the first method. Lets see how it turns out! By the way, @MakeupWearablesHairstyles, I LOVE your channel. It is the best and one my favorite youtube channels. Can you do another heatless curl video? Or maybe even a heatless waves one? Thanks!

Sparkly Sammie: Thank you for this perfect tutorial! Well done and very helpful, thumbs up for sure!

Jess Gardner: Only just discovered your channel This is a great way of curling hair when travelling so thanks a lot.

Eileen Eldrich: I’ve been experimenting with similar methods. How do you avoid ending up with a “crease” where the first ponytail holder was?

D J: I like! I'm going to try both, the second look with the pin curls is actually a cute up do! I'm in nursing school and I have been looking for ways to put my hair up and make it look cute and the second do is a great idea, thanks Tina :)

Noor Aref: I can't wait to try this! I love your channel!

Graceful Living: I tried it and love the results. I will say, it was late and didn't feel like adding product to my hair so I simply pinned my dry hair up. Beautiful big side curls. Thank you.

Patsy Collins-Pool: I just took 2 hours doing traditional pin curls. Definitely going to give the second method a try!! Looks a crap ton easier

Saraheeeeeee: I love how you disclose appropriately. Love the tutorials. Subscribed.

Tonamy Paterakis: <3 <3 <3 !!! You're amazing. THANK YOU for all you do <3.... Rija Shrestha: Awesome!!! It worked great !!!! Thank you for sharing and you are really beautiful.

Rachel: Gorgeous hair! I'm gonna give this a try. :D

Melanie Blackmore: Omg!! thank you, I'm hopeless at this stuff, I have a wedding coming up that I am trying to style my hair for, this will save me hours❤️❤️❤️

Michelle Marie: I LOVE the second method!!! I love big voluminous pin curls!!!

Gabi Rockhill: You can do it without products. I just washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner and I didn't put anything in it. ( The second one worked with no products). I haven't tried the first one yet. My hair was a little poofy when I took it out but I just brushed it a little bit and it was still curled. Hope this helped :)

rosquared: I tried this last night (version 2) and it worked so well it's going to be my daily hair! Thanks!

Pretties & Chic By Florence Anne Pierce: Gorgeous! Now all I have to do is grow out my ultra-thin hair!!!

Gurleen Maini: I loved ❤️ your 2nd method it's so easy

stefanie böke: The Second Tip is amazing and so simple. Doing it Right now lol

Cassidy Robinson: Wow! I have the most stubborn straight hair that absolutely refuses to curl unless I use the old pink rollers. The pin curl technique actually worked somewhat an I am trying it again with some mouse and curling product. Thanks for this awesome tutorial. I will definitely use these methods on the future. Btw, I love your vids. Kisses! Xx

MsNancySan: WOW! *--* I'll definitely try the second method! It's so quick and easy that even a newbie like me can follow it! Thanks for the amazing tutorial! I love you!

Chloe C: Yay!! Finally I got the easiest way to curl my hair over night I m a bit Lazy so I get very tired to make my hair curly using braids and they used to look like snakes! So I tried this hairstyle but my hair is long and lil thick so it took sometime in make sections but finally it turned up soo awesome and I just loved it! Tysm! And yes, u look Cute!

Carol G: FINALLY! Videos I can relate to for my hair! Thank you ☺

Nancy Preston: Mind blown! I am a subscriber now - incredible. Thanks so much!

T Mayo: Pin curls! Awesome... My grandmother did this to her hair; I remember from when I was a child. Thanks

peachy: Full review of 2nd method for fine, uncurl able hair like mine- I have long hair, a lot of hair, but it's fine. did the pin curl bun and wore it to school it was actually really cute! Got lotsa compliments :) and then I undid the curls for the dance after school and they looked great but the hair at my scalp was flat, straight, fluffy and weird. So I put my hair in a ponytail and wore that... really cute! Curly ponytail for 2 hours and it stayed up, Thumbs up!

Lay Zan: Love this video! My hair dries frizzy at the top, and its already kind of curly (not in a cute way) when it dries normally. Do you think this technique would work on it? Do I need to add/do anything extra? Thanks!!!

Ayesha Rajpoot: You are such a genius girl❤️

Kris Streck: Wow! Finally a simple enough method for my arthritic hands! I'm trying one of these tonight, to test if this will be my holiday style.

free fire empire: The 2 way is just perfect...Its so awesome

Liana Shen: OMG thank you so much! I tried the second one and surprisingly worked really well!

Бални Рокли: Love this great technique

Cathy Slaton: Wow,I been looking for a way to curl my straight hair and this one is the easiest one I have seen .Thank for showing us

Stacey Shaffer: I really like the pin curl method. I have extremely thick hair and it does take me longer to curl my hair because my hair is extremely thick it take 2 and a half days for it to dry. After i towel dry my hair and put in alot of bobby pins I would have it leave them in my hair until the next day for my hair to have pin curls. That means that I have to get up at 4:45 am wash and condition my hair and go back to bed with my microfiber towel on my head for 1 to 2 hours so my hair will be damp enough to put pin curls in my hair. The products that I use are Garnier Fructis detangler and air dry spray with aloe extract. L'oréal smooth intense frizz taming serum and the Garnier whole blends 5 in one detangling spray

Nayomee R: I love this! I was wondering why you use oil after you take the pins out and release the curl. Does the oil weigh your hair down and make it limp. What kind of oil do you use I would love to know. ty :)

Lisa Hunter: Omg the second one really works beautiful curls!! So amazing!!

Elisha Gabriell: Very smart. I will try both! I love the no-heat!

Jac W: I love these and will try them right away! I have two issues though. My hair gets oily around the roots when I sleep with it in a pony tail. Also, the hair tie leaves a noticeable crease in the morning. Anyone else with similar issues know how to fix them? (I have tried taking a flat iron to the hair tie mark but then my hair just looks very flat on top...) =/ Thanks!

Annu Roy: I just love your tutorial.... It's really fantastic I must say that......

Arthuria Rossi II: This is the best channel I am subscribed to! Thanks Tina! Lovely idea!

Akshay: I'm loving the both methods but the second method is more effective.

Carol Incitti: Hi! So when I started doing my hair this way it was so perfect. But recently not so much, it's been coming out flat n limp, the curls are not holding. Is my hair too dry or too wet? Or is there possibly another problem I haven't considered? Thanks!

laura: I love this tutorial!!!

Jennifer Garcia: This is so nice, most definitely trying this out!

Angel Boyd: I love your hair!! Im going to try this hacks tonight!!

Taylor Rose: her hair is so gorgeous...the second style was my fav!!!

Margaret Martha: Thanks so much. I love all your advice.

Darrah Berthelson: And Tina does her makeup PERFECTLY!!!!

Now & Then: When I had really long hair I would put my hair into a pony tail on top of my head and use the little sponge pink rollers and had a little round cotton thingy that had elastic to put over to keep it all together . You couldn't feel it at all while sleeping . I had beautiful curls the next morning . It took two minutes to get the rollers in.

A Aa: thank you so much. i dont want to use heat anymore so this is perfect!!

K10ator: Hey Tina, could you do a tutorial on how you wash your hair and get it THAT pretty. Like wow! Your hair is so pretty!

Christian Leroux: I'm going to try the 1 and 2 one today and tomorrow, and I will tell you guys what works better!!!!
