Hello, beautiful people, beautiful people, changes um, we have, we have died, we have dyed hair and i'm super excited because there was specifically one style that i've been wanting to do. Um. I was gon na do it when my hair was like brown, because i was feeling it. I was feeling the splotchy highlight the splotchiness as like dimension, but now that we actually have intentional dimension and intentional color. I have been so obsessed with seeing how this looks like fluffed and stretched, especially because i feel like every single time. I get just a little glimpse of what my hair would look like if it's like stretched out and the highlights are blended together. It literally creates the most perfect color um. I will say this is one month. What did he say one month later, so the color definitely has faded, which i personally like. I thought the original red was like like in your face, and i want to like bam in your face. You know, and this is getting bam in your face, so i went ahead and i used the audra beauty. Uh blue tansy, leave-in conditioner, and this is for damaged or color treated, hair, which is great, and this strengthens and repairs. I did this at least two nights ago when i washed my hair, because i plan on stretching my roots out and stretching my hair out, so that i can get the most optimal curl, and i kind of also wanted to show you guys me using my rev Air, because, like i haven't done it on this channel, i've done it on tech talk, but i've been using her girl. I feel like there's just so many videos on it that if i was gon na make a video using it y'all know i got ta come over here and flip it and reverse it. So i do have some ideas on how i wan na use it in the non-traditional sense, but i do wanna show you guys how i use it to just at least stretch my hair, so i'm gon na go ahead and work section by section. This is actually the first time i'm even seeing my hair in a stretch, state i've been rocking wash and goes all day long um, trying to also perfect a new wash day routine, learn about my newly dyed hair and also as the stylist recommend i've just been Staying away from doing any mass manipulation when it comes to my hair so now that the month is up, i'm ready to go, i'm ready to go um and try some some styles out and use a little hediana for my product. Today, i'm actually going to be trying out this blow dry in silk press collection, styler primer from essentials um. I don't usually use like a heat protectant. When i use my rev air, i usually make sure i have like a leave-in or something on it, but to kind of like re-wet the hair without actually re-wetting the hair with just water. I'M going to use this to help kind of just get that stretch from the root that i want and solidify the hair. But oh, my god. This is so cool. I'Ve never seen it like this. Okay. Now i got a hat. I'Ve also never tried this. It smells good yeah. This is like exactly what i needed. It'S really nice and light, but let's make sure we get these ends baby, okay, split this section in half and i'm choosing to blow dry it just because i really want to get like maximum. I i just my hair is so damn thick. I just want to go in and actually like really get a nice defined. Curl look that's going to last and then let it get bigger. So i want to start out as smooth as possible child. It'S time to say hello to my little friend. This thing is dead. Ass vacuum like this is a whole vacuum and it feels like i'm vacuuming, my hair. It is a big unit if you've never seen it. It'S it's a vacuum. It'S a big unit, but honestly it saves me so much time when it comes to blow drying and reduces my tension like crazy. So i just you know also i didn't pay for it. So um, i'm happy lighter up a braid out. Would look so good. I'M just i'm just so excited to do actual hairstyles y'all, because i've just been seeing it in the wash and go and i'm not saying that the wash and go doesn't look good. But i just feel like i've noticed that as the color stretches like you can really see the dimension and the highlights more versus when it's in, like my natural state, it looks good, but it's like i love it even more. When i can just see like you see how that's laying on and they're just so excited to play in different styles, let me know what hairstyles you want to see me. Try with my new color um down below we're gon na continue to still follow my little hydration journey just with some color. She did what needed to be done with these highlights man like look at that. That'S what i mean like you, you sometimes don't get to see it when it's all bunched up and then, when you see it stretched out, you can just really see how everything is just laying and because it is fading. There'S like a little blonde. So it's a little brighter! Oh it's crazy, because i already know what color i want to put on top of this. I'M so ready, y'all ain't ready, but i'm so ready so to style. I y'alls, if you, if you're new and you haven't seen it um last year, i curled my hair with robe with my robe and this year. Does it come with two? Oh? No. This is just really long long, ass, oh snap! Okay, maybe i won't need to girl, maybe i won't because this look long as hell or maybe not um, but last year i curled my hair with robe curls, and then i discovered that they have these little satin rollers that are long um that are perfect and I'Ve been meaning to retry that style anyway, um, because i just absolutely loved how my hair came out. So i definitely want more intentional curls and i'm still going to start with the middle of my hair, even though i'm most likely going to wear it to the side. Um thing is because of how thick my hair is. I actually went ahead and bought two and i'm thinking of doing four, because i really want the curls to be like curling, so instead, i'm actually gon na separate this from front to back. I think this is made for mostly uh thin, hair straight hair. If you will to set everything in place, i'm gon na still be going in with the og, the lotta body, but i think i'm gon na be strategic here. So i went ahead and did a little test section on the opposite side, just to see how much space i would actually need - and i realized i did - have space for the whole half of my head. So i decided to just go ahead and twist um by halves instead of front and back and when i go ahead and twist the hair around i'm twisting to the back, and i'm also making sure to make definitive sections based off the sections you make kind of. Can help you decipher like how many curls you want, so if you want to twist it around and not have to separate, you can make really really small sections um. For me, i kind of wanted, like semi big to small sections, also i'm not adding any mousse at this time as i'm wrapping it around just to ensure that the hair lays very smooth - and i don't cause my curls to um curl back up. I also kind of was going for more of like a fluffy and yet defined look. So if you want more like definitive hard curls, not saying they would be crunchy, but you know like, if you want like curls curls, then i would recommend adding just a little bit of mousse, not too crazy, as you're twisting to ensure that the curl has like More definition to it, if you want something like kind of more on the perm roddy kind of side of definition, but if you want something with a little bit more fluff um, you can definitely go ahead and add it after the fact and to keep it tight Because this, unlike the robe um with this roller, it has height like it, has thickness to it. So the only tricky thing i would say is getting it nice and smooth on my root um. If anything, honestly, i might just have to just find like a satin, robe and kind of use this. If you wanted to like stay on budget or use something around the house so that you're actually able to get even smoother results. In my opinion, um, because i think it was just harder to get the inner part of my roots to be laying down smooth, as i try to twist it around, but for the most part, i still think that this is a pretty good option. Instead of having to put like 30 perm rod sets or flexi rods in your hair funny enough. On my, i want to say my left side um, i like ran out of room space, so you'll see that i'm like actually twisting a little bit further from my head because, like i it's just there's no there's nowhere else for my hair to go so i Was really trying to keep it as close to my hair, my base as possible, so my roots wouldn't be super puffy, but we'll see how that goes. Once i got towards the end, that's where i completely saturate the ends with the lotta body, and it came with these like cheetah print scrunchies. So what i did was i fold the roller right where my ends finish and then i just use the scrunchie to secure the roller so that it doesn't slip out. I'M not gon na hold. You guys. I am very skeptical and i don't have the time to be skeptical, because i actually very much need this to work question mark. So this shall be interesting, i'm going ahead and i'm adding the foam. I did start to add foam on this side as i was curling the hair. So i think i should so. I definitely think i should get some curls here, but i'm a little scared. I only got one shot to to live this a chance to blow this opportunity comes only today, because i don't have the time to play games and then to make sure that this stays its ground. I'M gon na go in with a scarf to hold everybody into place. I think the only thing i'm worried about is my roots are about to be crazy, because i did not get it to make it as tight, as i thought so. What i might have to do - oh, i should have done the stocking. I don't know how much assistance this is going to act as, but hopefully the stocking will help de-puff um. I do have a hooded dryer, but i'm gon na go in and just hit. My hair, with some heat and hope for the best. Yes, so it's officially the next day i slept in this overnight and i'm not gon na lie. You guys it wasn't that bad to sleep on. But if i had to choose like between this and the robe um, i think the only thing that was like kind of uncomfortable was like the ends, but i will definitely say that this had me shook you guys, um, just one. I think, because i added more moose on this side like i just i don't know what i expected, but i do know that i was you know like i was like. I think the dimension is really just gon na help make this pop a bit more um, but it was really easy for my hair to come out like i literally just slid that thing out, because it is satin, unlike the robe that was more on, like a Clothy side um, but y'all, do you see what the dimension in my hair is doing like? Do you see exactly why i waited this whole time to do the style that i really wanted from the jump like i literally had to try and keep my composure, because i genuinely was sugar tip shook it. I don't even know if we use that word anymore, but i'm gon na bring it back just for this one moment and one moment only like i am not i i i i'm an afro gal. Okay, like i am, i am afrobeat okay, but let me tell you something something about the stretch: the little effortless beach wave, looking vibe with this hair color and the dimension just y'all ain't ready for me like you're, not you're, not, and it's okay, i'm i'm letting You know now so that you have time to prepare, but no one is safe. No one is ready, no one, we're not, and i will never give you guys a chance to actually prepare, because just i'm not even gon na talk anymore, just just get into it. So once i finish shooting all of the rest of my content as well as eating a little bit of food by the end of the day. This is what the curls look like, and this is what my hair looks like when it is exposed to floridian humidity heat and a little bit of precipitation um. As you can see, the curls hold up pretty decently um. It gets a bit more fluffier, but that's why i said i wanted to really start off with a flat base and so to up keep the curls. I actually decided to use the two um roller method. This way i can like at least for the first day or the first night i really wanted to like basically start off with super super defined curls. This time i did not part it in the middle. I kept it in the way that i actually wanted to wear the hair, so all i literally had to do was slide it out and i decided to choose this method so that i didn't even have to separate like i did this so that, basically all my Sections were there, and all i had to do was literally slide the rollers out fluff and go about my business, and this literally took about the same amount of time to install with using like one large one. Just because i'm working in like two larger sections um in comparison to working with the two, so it didn't add more time to do this as like a nighttime routine or anything. This was actually really simple and really easy to do so. I just wrapped it around and this time around i did add a little bit more of the foam and i didn't create new sections. I just found the sections that i already had made the first time around and solidified them and reiterated them, and that's pretty much how i was able to wrap it. So it even took less time because i wasn't even creating any sections like that. Once i have the front and the back parts installed, this is what my hair looked like. I wrapped it with the satin scarf. I didn't use the stocking this time because i feel like it would be too bulky, and i slept just like that. Thank you guys.
