Heatless Waves.. This Method Works! Elanna Pecherle 2021

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, as you can already tell by the title of this video today, i'm showing you how i do my heatless waves, slash, curls they're, obviously a little bit more of a curl at the moment, because they're fresh, but they do die Down into a really lovely soft beachy wave, i have tried and tested a whole bunch of different methods and techniques, and it's probably been a good six months of trial and error. Until i found this method, which definitely works the best for me and my hair type. So take that into consideration. It might not work for you and your hair type, but you can always try it. There'S no harm, no heat right, also a little disclaimer. When i started filming this video, it was literally pitch blackout like thunderstorm, so get ready for a little lighting change, but it will go back to a nicer brighter one by the end of the video typical northern irish weather, without further ado, let's get into the tutorial. So, like i mentioned in the beginning, this method is definitely the most effective. For me. I have a lot of hair. It'S like deceiving every time, my hairdresser does it she's like. Where is this hair coming from that's a lot of hair? It is like dyed, so i've dyed my hair, a lot that definitely adds to like the texture. It can hold a curl because naturally, i have a wave in it and it's about medium length. What i like to do actually is do this throughout the day. I can't do the overnight stuff because it wakes up wonky, looking it like literally, doesn't look like a curl and it almost looks greasy. So the best way for me is doing this in the morning. So i'm going to blow dry my hair first till about 80 85 percent dry, but it is a lot about the products as well too. I always put this in my hair to blow dry anyways. It is the olaplex number six bond smoother. I also put in the kerestos youth revitalizing blow dry care and both of these together really just help aid in softer smoother. Looking hair, okay i'll meet, you guys back just a little bit, so you can see all of my hair. Now we're going to take our blow dryer. I have the dyson airwrap and i'm just using the blow dryer attachment and we're just going to go ahead and start blow drying our hair, making sure to really get in at the roots and stopping when your hair is about 80 to 85 percent dry. Now that my hair is about 80 dry like i can definitely feel a little bit of dampness in the back and throughout the mid lengths and ends, i'm just going to make sure i have the part that i want so i like to put my hair in The middle doing this, but obviously do the part you prefer i'm filming this on a wednesday and i'm getting my hair done on friday and i cannot wait. Maybe let me know in the comments down below this next step is crucial. You need a hair oil. Just because you don't have heat to really smooth out your hair, this is a step that i feel like is really helpful in creating the heatless curl, because it just tames any frizz and makes the overall appearance a little bit smoother. Now, moving on to the actual contraption that i use, this is a local small business called silkenberry and it's all silk products to help your hair remain smooth, while it's curling and also curl your hair with no heat. So it comes with a bunch of different things, but i'm going to show you what i use specifically from the kit. Obviously this long silk tong is crucial. A lot of people use a bathrobe, but i feel like the terry. What'S it called the towel? Texture, terry cloth of it is just maybe a little bit rougher on your hair, so you can create a little bit. More frizz comes with the really cute, like pearlescent mother of pearl, clip to keep it in place and it comes with a whole bunch of different size scrunchies. But i like to use the really thin ones just because they don't really leave. I can't get the bottom of my hair, so let's get started, we have our hair parted. The way we want i'm going to find the middle of this little thing and put it a little bit further back, i'm not going to put it too close to the front of my face. I want it like just before the crown of my hair. Take the clip and secure it in place, so then it doesn't move so i'm gon na split my hair into two take one section and just use one of the scrunchies here and tie it away so that it doesn't get caught on the other side. Now, before i actually get started, i take this wave holding spritz by george northwood rosie huntington, whitley's hairstylist smells unreal, absolutely unbelievable and just spray it through the mid lengths and ends, and i feel like this just aids in the curl holding factor, because there's no heat Holding your hair, this really helps now, let's get started, i'm going to brush it one last time to make sure it's super smooth. What i found is the best method is trying to take the curls as far back like not keeping this in the front, but keeping it like aligned to where it's clipped so kind of a little bit further back. I'M gon na take a top section like an inch thick piece of hair and i'm not twisting the piece if you twist the hair, it's a little bit more of a beachy way, but i want just like big bouncy waves, so i'm keeping it nice and smooth Going over and go up a little higher, i'm going to go over and under, but when i'm under hold it there you're going to take another section of hair again make sure it's nice and smooth keep this in the same place. Try not to twist it and then you're going to just go over again with that section of hair and under take a section. Add it to your existing section, make sure it's nice and smooth and you're not twisting the silk wrap and go over again i'll turn and come closer. So you can see what i'm doing as well um when you come to the bottom section. Obviously, there's going to be some smaller bits poking out, so just try and tuck that under longer pieces of hair and that should do the trick. I'M gon na flip it under and back take one of the scrunchies provided and just loop. It once right there and it's okay, if it unravels very slightly, but it's pretty secure in place and you can see all your hair is wrapped and secure to go. It'S okay! If it's a little loopy down here, because it's just really a nice natural wave, literally exact same thing on the other side, you're gon na find you're gon na have a little bit of a more confident side for some reason. It'S this side for me. So i have to kind of go a little bit slower on this side to even it out just wow. That is you i'm going to take out the little clip at the top, so we don't have any little clip marks. Take your time with this slow and steady, i promise you. It will be so worth it now. This is the part where, if you didn't, do your makeup just go ahead and do your makeup have your coffee, all that fun stuff? Obviously, this is probably not the most um like if you have to go right to work. You can obviously keep this in your hair in your drive. I do suggest keeping it in for a minimum of an hour but longer the better. So normally i do this right in the morning like after i work out, i have a shower and then i put this in my hair right away. Then i get ready. Do my makeup? Get the kids ready all that kind of stuff. So it's a couple of hours before i'm even taking it out at like 10, 30 or 11, and i'm not really going anywhere most of us work from home now. So it's really easy to do. I'M gon na go edit. Another video. Do some emails. Have a coffee and i'll see you when it's been a couple of hours, hopefully the lighting hasn't changed. Welcome back, it's been approximately two hours just over two hours, so i feel like my hair is dry and i've had some lunch. I'Ve edited a video, so i'm feeling good we're gon na go ahead and take this out. The big reveal you guys, i'm just gon na go through each side and i just like to pull the little tubie thing out. Success done. Ah now you can just go out and embrace your day if you're into this kind of curl like go for it and i'm not. However, so i'm going to take my wide tooth comb that my hairdresser has designed danielle mclelonan. Hopefully, i'm pronouncing that right danielle, but go check her out, support small and we're just gon na brush through these waves. So it looks a little bit more natural all right, as you can see like it's a pretty decent wave, considering that no heat was used at all and i feel like it, it does fall a little bit like don't get me wrong. It'S not going to be this intense, but it's just so easy to do. Lastly, you guys already know i'm obsessed with this hairspray. It is the kevin murphy session spray flex, it's a light, flexible, finishing hairspray and it just kind of helps, keep the curls in a little bit longer and perfect. The overall look of them. I was not joking. When i said i had a lot of hair. That'S why it's very vavavoom at the moment it does die down it's a little bit more of a relaxed wave, but considering no heat was used on this i mean, like that's pretty amazing.
