I love interacting with my viewers. Let's get to know each other.

Today'S video is going to be a little bit different. I'M gon na share with you guys how I achieve my favorite type of heatless curls dealing with Datchet braids. The reason why it's gon na be a little bit different is because I'm basically going to do it backwards, so I'm going to show you guys the results right now. Hopefully it works usually 99.9 percent of time they work and they come out beautiful the curls and then I'm going to show you guys quickly how I style them to make them look a little bit better. You'Ll see one thing. I look like right now and then I'm going to show you guys how I actually braid my hair, because I do a little bit differently and you guys I have some bad news. I actually broke a fingernail. It is so weird I haven't broken any of my nails in such a long time. So this is such a weird feeling. It was definitely throbbing because I broke it pretty low. So I thought I'd mentioned that if you guys saw it, it looks a little handicapped. I feel bad for it. Alright, let's actually take out my braids so backstory. I braided my hair. Yesterday morning, while I was still damp out of the shower, I added some leave-in conditioner added some of this and some of this. So this is the pure ology color fanatic. I added this because this is one of my favorites, but I there's like barely anything left, it's so done because I don't have anything left with this. I went to the brioche. Oh, don't despair, they're straight and moisture, leaving mask this stuff is awesome. I'Ve talked about it before so I left this in my hair brushed it out and then I just braided my hair. So let's see what it looks like I went to the gym. Yesterday worked out did my day. This went to sleep and now it's the next day, mmm it smells good. It smells like a leave-in conditioner all right, so there's the one side right looks really good, as did the other side now so there we have it with me, not actually doing anything to it, just taking it out and, as you can see, actually created really nice Waves and curls into my hair, it looks a very effortless, some what's a natural, some like mulana. No I'm kidding alright. So now what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na quickly style it and make sure doesn't look like a hot mess and stuff right now. So I'm gon na take a little bit of dry shampoo and just apply to areas like towards the back, especially with my hair, because I had the two braids and it was parted in the middle. So I don't want that party line all the way down. Take the dry, shampoo kind of place in those areas and kind of mix, my hair a little bit give it more of a smooth transition in the back all right. I'M gon na use some of this Bree ojio scalp revival charcoal and biotin dry shampoo. Now, what I'm gon na do is just kind of brush in my dry shampoo, with my fingers just kind of rough up, my roots, a little bit just kind of pick up the curls all right. So with this type of hairstyle with these types of curls, you can definitely leave it in the middle like this, but I kind of like it better with my haircut and hairstyle if I part it more to the side, so we're gon na take this side right Here it doesn't matter which I'm gon na part it on the right side, and once you put your hair, it kind of will change the back a little bit. It will kind of camouflage it a little bit more. So now you don't have that crazy party line because of the braids and I'm just gon na take some hair oil. This is honestly one of my favorite hair oils is by the brand playa or playa. I believe it's playa, I'm sorry if I'm pronouncing it wrong, but I've had this hair oil. I think since, like September or October - and I am almost out of it - it is so good. It is extremely lightweight. I use it in my hair. I use it on my body I'll, take a couple of drops and it smells so good and I'm just gon na quickly just run it through my hair, just to kind of tone everything down a little bit of the frizz and it will moisturize the hair. A little bit more, alright, I'm very happy with the curls and the way it's looking, I'm actually not gon na fix it with anything think it turned out really good, but the other thing I'm gon na add is a little bit of sea salt spray. This by the brand playa - and this is their endless summer spray and I'm gon na - add it towards the bottom, just to give it a little bit more texture. So I'm just gon na add a little bit sea salt spray. I'M gon na give it a little bit more texture, so there we have it for the final look and the results and how I kind of played with it. I changed my party lines all the time. That'S the beauty of this kind of look. You can just go crazy with it and it looks natural, but now let me quickly show you guys how I actually braid, because there's somewhat a technique, but not really alright. So obviously I would start with damp wet hair and then I would apply my leave-in conditioners, as I showed you guys in the beginning. Let'S just do middle, it does not have to be perfect, but just from the front to the back of your head, like I said it doesn't have to be perfect just some watching. Even then, I'm gon na take one of the sections away and just not worry about it. This is where I begin and I like to make sure my braid is gon na, be going towards the back of my head, not on the side and turn the back, but make sure it's going towards the back of the head that way. You'Ll get all of these nice curls at the top of your head. That makes it look natural and effortless as I like to call it. So I'm just gon na divide. It is very hard you guys when I don't have nails to grab a nice section. I know I didn't. I love my nails, alright, so and then divide into three sections, as you would a regular, a braid, so I'm gon na be doing a Dutch braid and a Dutch braid is where you take the outer sections and you go under the middle. The reason why I'm doing a Dutch braid is because that's what I found works best for my hair. I'Ve tried a fishtail braids. I'Ve tried French braids and, for some reason, Dutch braids. The curl that comes out afterwards is just so stunning and effortless, and I think it looks better so I'm gon na take this outer section. I'M going to take this top section, bring it underneath the middle hold it there and then add hair to it to the middle, just like that. Take this section under the middle and adhered to it. So I'm always bringing the section the outer section under the middle and then adding hair to that middle section, so under the middle and adhere to the middle. This right here is what I like to do a little bit differently, instead of always grabbing big sections from this side right here, because this is where you have most of your hair. I actually like to work in sections, so I take smaller section and in the next section I add from the very front of my head next section I add closer to the middle section and so forth, just to make sure you grab not such big chunks of Section into your one side of your head, so right now I'm going to add a smaller section, so I'm gon na go from like the middle and then add it to the middle. Just like that. Smaller section. Add it to that middle and then just add your regular section from up top and then this right here now, I'm gon na add this section right here, a bigger section. Add it to the middle nice and tight and now again not adding the entire section. I'M going to add half of that section, so I'm grabbing a section up here, adding that to the middle, and the reason why I do this, like I mentioned, is because the curls are more uniform and there's a little bit more of the curls. Once you take the braids out, and I think the braid actually looks a lot better and has a lot more texture and dimension when you have the braids done. Alright, I'm gon na do the exact same thing as I did on this side of my head making sure I followed the exact same steps as I did. When I grabbed half a section, then the next section was the entire section. Half a section entire section. This just creates, I don't know, I think it just looks better so there we have it with the completed braids and I tied off my braids was my favorite two clear elastics. I get them on Amazon, they're amazing. I talked about them. Often I will have everything linked down below for you guys if you need anything from here. I mentioned this before when I do take the braids out. It gives a very natural look because you do get curls on the very top of your head. I'Ve tried placing my braids on the sides a little bit lower and it just doesn't look as good. The curls start like 3/4, even like halfway down, so it doesn't look as natural or as pretty just a little bit of a poofy mess down here, but nothing happening out up here. So if you want these kind of curls make sure you have the braids placed up on the top of your head and then going back down. Obviously, it's not gon na be completely, even because I braided it myself and I don't have eyes in the back of my head as even as you can. As close as you can that's your goal, and usually this is the part where I say: let's pull apart, these braids give them volume texture dimension, but now I'm gon na refrain from doing that. What the braids, nice and tight, so the curls can form and do their thing. I started with the braids and I'm ending with the braids. I hope you guys like this video. Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you in the next one bye. You

Nancy Orlando: I am 77 years old woman and just by chance found your channel. none of your videos would apply to me at my age. however, you so utterly charming. i have subscribed to your channel. and your husband in the background is also utterly cute. now you have a grandma as a subscriber. ha

Márta Marsi: If you do a criss-cross parting for the braiding it will make it much easier to make any parting disappear. :)

Stefanie Medina: This is my favorite way to style my hair! As a mom of two toddlers I braid my hair after I wash it, sleep in it, and my hair is curly and fluffy for a few days! Mom win!

Shaina America: This style looks amazing on you. I do this all the time. Thanks for showing which products I can use to give it more texture and shine because my hair type is dryer. * A tip to get rid of the parting line: Make a zigzag parting instead of a straight parting line. This way, the hair will overlap when you undo the braid and your roots won't push to the sides.

katlover369: I always curl my hair like this. To get the ends curled I undo the bottom part of the braid, not much and then curl the bottom! Works like a charm

irlydntcare: Thank you so much for this video! I have tried for years to get the perfect braided-overnight-curls. I have tried so many ways and it was always a fail, even though I am very good at braiding my own hair. But this did the trick. Today I rocked my heatless curls and they held up all day at work. :)

Laura: I already do this exact style to achieve heatless curls and with your tips I am going to get ten times better at it ^_^ Thank you for this video !

charnejj: This came at just the right time! Lately, my hair has been breaking a lot so I want to stop using heat for a while. Can't wait to try this :)

Mackenzie T: I've been doing this for years, and I absolutely love it!!! Something that I've tried, is doing a zig zag part in the back, and it helps conceal the part even more when you take them out!

Dani U: I really enjoyed how you showed the styling and how you do the braids. Really informative and I feel like I have a great guide for when I try this. Thank you!

Mandy's Chats: Loved this! thanks for the tip for the braiding, will definitely give it a try

Amy Caroline: She makes it look so easy!!❤️

GeeThePea: I have been plaiting my hair to achieve waves for years now (it’s the only way I can achieve any sort of wave in my hair that will last longer than a few hours) - but these tips were so simple and useful! I’m going to try them out and see what difference it makes

Alvin Marshburn: Always love your vids! Picked up a Revlon One-step after watching your review! ❤️ Not sure how your hair type will do with this tip, but if you try adding oil to your finger tips before taking out your braids, you should get less frizz in your curls and would have to tame less afterward if at all.

Kaitlin: I LOVE overnight hairstyles like this. I always shower at night and hate blow drying my hair. Do more!! ♥️♥️♥️

Brooke Uporsky: Thanks for this, I'm off to go shower and braid my hair now! I recently cut 13 inches off my hair and it's currently a little bit longer that yours is. Your videos are giving me such inspiration to style my new hair cut!! ❤ ☺

Linda CeeTee: Loved everything about this video! You made it look so easy and it looks great on you! Loved your nail polish and lip colour...they really popped! Lol...even your missing nail! Great instructions...will be trying this! TFS

MandieJean97: This is actually how I’m going to do my hair for my wedding, it’s just so easy and I honestly don’t want to have to worry about it that day, haha.

D Heredia: If only I could braid my hair like that. That is so cute

Douniazed Ouar: I was using this technique my entire life !! So glad u did it !! Thank u for everything milabu

Melissa Fredrick: Love your whole look! Makeup, hair, nails look so cute together.

Kate Gwynn: Something I do when I do this style (I've been loving it lately) is I do a zigzag part so it makes it easier to hide the parting line. And I add dry shampoo and hairspray to define the curls more ;)

Abby Scorsonelli: Thank you for explaining the split sections! That helps. I'll try this week!

Vertika Saxena: Such an amazing way to get perfect and beautiful curls..!!!! Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much..!!! I love the curls this method gives..!! It was my first time trying curls and I love it soooo much i want to do it everyday..!!!

Brie B: I do this all the time...esp the day before washing. Love it!

Anita C: I love how you don't beg for subscribers like everyone else does. Breath of fresh air.

Niamh: So helpful!! Thank you so much!! ‍♀️

Tonya Leister: I love it! It looks amazing! That is something good for me to do if I could just Dutch braid.

Lila P: Love your channel! It was funny, I just did this to my hair a days ago! They turn out great for thick hair as well!

Julia: i always just put in a bun and my hair magically looks like a dead tree

A D: Looks awesome! I should try your technique next time I braid my hair :)

Maria Melero Riera: Loved it :) I'm wearing it right now. To help mesh the two sides of hair you can do a zig zag part when you get yo the back of your head, or you could do it all the way from the front. That way it really doesn't show and it looks cohesive :)

Marksman 8: This is my favorite trick to make my hair curled

Horvath L: You make this look so easy I am going to try this technique today. Fingers crossed

Kelly Cabrera: I tried it & it worked! Thank you Milana!

Sheyla Fernandez: I have really long hair and this method is my favorite because I can style it and wear it one day and then curls the next ❤️

Joyansorrow: OMG I love this! This is the first time I see and hear of that braiding technic.. I need to try it and make my braids even better

Sadie Mikolow: You gave me the courage to chop my hair off! And now I live for all your videos!!

Kathy E. and the real life: Cool video Love the curls

Yen: I always curl my hair this way in the morning ❤️ somehow this is the only way my straight stubborn asian hair can hold on to a curl throughout the day

Maddalena Cave: One word: stunning! ❤️

Paige: Since you recommended those clear elastic, I am always tell everyone with babies to use them! I love them! They dont hurt little girl's sensitivitie heads!!!

Stilletto77: Love your style!

Rachel Stirling: Looks like tori Kelly's hair! I love it! Thank you for the great tutorial, you are one of the best youtubers!

Maggie Thomas: I JUST recently discovered that dutch braids work so much better for my hair too!!! I always used to do french braids, but I decided to do dutch one night and the results were so much better!!! I have no idea why, but they were...

Neila Avalone: I loved it! Thank you!,,

Kimberley Dawn: Do more of your hair tutorials love them

Mars and Crew: So pretty I love it! That oil looks amazing

A.R. Glad.: This is one of my favorite heatless curl-styles (and still you had a few new tricks for me )! Thanks for the video! Little tip from me for other fine-haired ladies: I like to braid in two or three brands of soft cloth - I use a cut up old t-shirt - to add a bit more volume to the waves. With "just" my hair, the waves often come out a little small and frizzy - especially towards the very beginning and end of the braid.

shir eli: Wow! Amazing great job :)

Uptowngirl - Jennifer: You make it look so easy. Lol. My arms get too tired. Lol. Your hair is gorgeous!!

Mally Makings: Very helpful, Milana. I hope you’ll consider doing your nail care routine? They always look so nice.cx

Abby Ludwig: Yeah Dutch braids wave better for me too!! LOVE the waves you got: braid waves are my fave waves!!!

Abby Ludwig: Yeah Dutch braids wave better for me too!! LOVE the waves you got: braid waves are my fave waves!!!

Cinthya Alanis: Hih, that's how I do it! I really like how my hair stays

shambhavi gautam: I made it and it worked☺️

Sillybanana_na: I do this only I do French rather than Dutch braids as I'm better at them (I find French easier on myself them Dutch on my daughter lol) great to have you doing hair tutorials again!

G Rūmy: Oh ya!!! I standing!!! My hair is that bob, super corto... Definitivamente queda hermoso!!

Amanda Granda: You are pronouncing right “playa”, is Spanish, means beach :) Love the curls, yesterday I did the exact same thing on my hair, but anyway I like to watch your videos and discover any extra trick :D

Gosh, when I learned from you I found it a godsend. Love your videos and also find something new everytime . XXXX
