5 Easy Hairstyles For Short Hair // No Heat // Lazy Day, Running Late Hair Fixes!

Hello guys and welcome to my video I am doing another hair video today. You guys have given me so much love in my last hair video, which is the 10 hairstyles for short hair. So much love, it's crazy! Thank you guys so much for that. So I want to show you another hair video today, because I got a couple of requests and comments on different hairstyles. I got one for the topknot. I did in my glowy summer makeup video and then I got one on Instagram to show how I did a hairstyle in a certain picture I was wearing, which was this one umm and I did get one comment that was like what would you do if you Had a bad hair day, so that got me thinking, I wanted to do sort of like a bad hair day, slash lazy day, sort of hairstyles for you guys, and these hairstyles don't require any heat. They don't require you to do anything to your hair prior to it. All you need is some hair ties and some bobby pins so go ahead and keep watching and we'll get started with the hair tutorial, alright guys. So, let's get started there. I am looking all tired and lazy with my bad hair. I pretty much just took a shower last night and just let it air dry, and this is what my hair ends up looking like, so this is going to be super easy. All you need is a hair tie, we're just going to slicked our hair back. So first you want to get it into like a high pony or however high you can get it with your short hair, because there are different lengths, too short, so my I have like a long bob, so the front of my hair is actually a little bit Longer than the back of my hair, which is why I think it's easier for me to do like hairstyles like this, since the front is long, and so I'm just taking this into a ponytail and that hair on the left is annoying me and then don't worry. If your hair ends up falling or if you have like a lot of hair that fall down because we're just going to pin that up, this is the look that I was wearing in my glowy summer. Makeup, look video and then to achieve a top knot. All you do is twist your hair and just sort of let it twist around itself into this. Almost like a ballerina bun. I always leave the ends out and then I just tuck them and I bobby pin them just hide them a little bit pull out your hair. However much you'd like, but I wanted mine to be pretty small, just a small little bun and then, if your hair falls out again, then just pin it back up and that's the end of that look super easy. Moving on to the next one. It'S a braided updo, so this one is a Messier hairstyle I'd say if you just want to add a little something to your hair, pretty much. All I did was make some accent braids. So I took one on this side and I took one on the other side. You can do any kind of braid. You want. You know a fishtail whatever I did just a regular braid, so you just you, know, weave it in and out with the three sections. So I did that on this side and then I took I took that a little bit higher on the other side, which I think actually works better, this braid, if you do it like this, it's kind of harder to pull up because the hair, as you can See is being braided down, so it could create little grooves and stuff in your hair. But you pretty much just want to tie that and then pull at it and just make it bigger, and this is going to make sure that the braid really stands out in your hair and then once you do put it up. You just take that hair tie out, so I did that on this side as well, just tugged at it and now we're just going to put it up. So I put it up really messily. It'S just like a really messy little bun. To achieve this little bun. All you do is just before you tie it. You just want to leave some hair out, so it's kind of one of those you don't like. Let it go all the way you leave some hair in and then you just achieve that little fun with just messy braids. This is my favorite one, this messy bun. I didn't think that I would be able to do this because my hair is so short, but pretty much. All you want to do is take your hai and you're taking you want to take your hair into a high ponytail, and this is like the easiest hairstyle and it's so cute. So before you let it go. You just want to leave some hair in pretty much. So I always do my. I tie mine three times, but on that third one. Instead of letting all the hair out, you just leave some tucked in about halfway and then all you do is pull out it. However much you'd like so you really want to pull. Be careful not to you know, make everything fall out, but just pull depending on how much volume you'd like, and you just want to switch back and forth between pulling at your front hair and then pulling at the fun. And I feel like this gives the illusion of having like longer hair to you like you can't really tell that we have short hair. I love that hairstyle, the next one is space buns or, as I like to say, Maile buns, I always think of Miley Cyrus. When I do this hairstyle, this is similar to the one that I did in my last hairstyle the double top knot, except that one of course I left some hair down. So that was like a half updo kind of thing. This is like the full space buns. So what I did was take my hair into two ponytails. You want to make sure you're combing up that having it flat and do a pony tail here. Do a pony tail thing: it's! Okay! If it's messy, because I feel like a lot of these - are like messy hairstyles anyway, so messiness kind of works on a bad hair day, slash movie day, then all you undo is the same thing as if this were a bun or a top knot. You just want to twist it around it and bobby. Pin it in place. Yes, girl go in for that bobby pin. I use a few bobby pins for this one for any, where I'm Bobby pinning I always use like two or three just to make sure it doesn't fall throughout the day and then with these you can pull and tug at them. However much you'd like to make them a little bit bigger or you can keep them small, it just depends on your preference, but this is another really easy and really quick hairstyle. I think all of these are super quick, but took no time at all and we have our space buns. I feel like that. Hairstyle is really in right now too. The next one is a double French braid. This one was requested to me on Instagram because I was wearing it in that picture that I showed in the beginning of the video, and so all you do is do a French braid on one side and a French braid on the other side. To achieve a French braid, you want to braid regularly, so you take the three strands of hair, but then you start taking some from the front and some from the back, and you want to connect it and make sure that you add that into the braid. So if you watch it's, like you, add hair onto the piece that you're going to braid next and then that creates that French braid. You want to make sure that you're, tugging and smoothing it you're, smoothing it as you go, so that the hair isn't like sticking up in random places. You want to make sure it's really flat and then at the end, you want to go as much as you can. This depends on how short your hair is again. If you have really short hair, you might not be able to go all the way to the bottom. Just um, just hair tie it where you can, where you feel comfortable and then do it again on the other side. So you just want to tug from the back add it to the hair and braid it tug from the front. Add it to the hair and braid it and it seems complicated, but once you get the hang of it, it's like super easy, like I'm doing this. Without a mirror and stuff you just kind of go for it and you just want to smooth it along as you go and then once you have that braided you just want to go as far as you can again. We have short hair so kind of hard. You can't go that far. My braids ended up kind of like kind of like shoulder up to my shoulders and then once you have them in with hair ties, you want to pull out them and make them bigger. So I like to create a lot of volume at the front. So I like to pull at the very front of the hair right here and just get that like big loop going and then I'll pull at the other pieces of the hair and just make it bigger. And I do that on both sides. And that's how you get that, like full volume at the front, you just want to pull up the front and then just make it like big and it's soup. It'S done!
