How to do Pin Curls on Short Relaxed Hair for Effortless body curls and that perfect Feathered Look. Heat-less Easy Go-to style for any occasion.
I have relaxed Hair but this hairstyle can be achieved on straight hair whether relaxed or natural just give it a try to avoid using heat on your hair. Short hair is not required to achieve this look. give it a try!

My Relaxed Hair was roller set prior to setting it in pin curls. If my hair was not roller set before, I would use hot rollers or a curling iron to assist my hair with forming a curl before setting it in pin curls to achieve this same look.

Hey Ya: let's I love destiny. So before I begin this video, I want to wish you out a very happy new year and it's only right that we started out 2017 with hair salons all right. So yes, one of the most requested videos from 2016. This pincurls hair tutorial, so I'm going to start off by taking lustrous pink lobster and just applied it to my hair for shine and to eliminate frizz. Then I'm going to use the silk and sleek straightener polished. This product is humidity resistant. It can be used as a heat protectant, and it also contains silk and exotic oils, which is why it's my go-to product when I want to achieve soupy hair. Originally, my plan was to calm down the curls from my rollers a and just to wrap my hair up. This is the way that I achieved straight hair. Without using direct heat, you can rotate your hair comb out the curls, and then you wrap your hair for a straight look. But I kind of decided that I didn't really want to do that, which is why you all will see the pin curls tutorial instead. But if you ever worn curls and you want to get rid of the curls and straighten your hair, then definitely just comb them out, wrap your hair up and you'll be good to go. So since I decided that I did not want to do that, I'm going to share it with you out the pink rose soryo. Instead, I'm taking the cancel shea butter, leave-in conditioning, repair, cream, wow, that's a lot and I'm just applying it. So my hair is going to provide an intention water. It will help to leave my hair, soft and manageable, and it's also formulated for damaged dry of course here. So, as far as the pin curls technique, what I'm doing I'm taking small sections of my hair, I'm applying the cancel, leaving and conditioner, and I'm smoothing that through onto my ends not too much to where your hair is damp. But just enough to give your hair a little moisture and also to help your hair form help your hair to form some kind of flexibility that way it will hold the shape from the pink rose. Then I take two of my fingers and I roll my hair around my fingers, making sure that my ends are smooth and I'm just continuing to roll my hair all the way down towards my scalp. I position the pink curl flat and then I like it into place using a duckbill clip or a roller setting clip perceive this process all over your head. Just taking the cancel, conditioner you don't have to use, cancel, definitely use your favorite moisturizer Orly. You just want to apply something to your hair is just to give it a little moisture, and this will also help to form your hair with the curls. Now, like I said prior to beginning this, I did have a roller set in my hair, so you can check that video out if you would want to start with the rolling set before you begin, your pin curls, but you do not have to do that. Just take the moisturizer if you don't want to really go through the whole process of doing the Roller set, apply your moisturizer roll, your hair over your fingers and just continue that process all over I'm using medium sized sections to achieve this pink rose. Look. This is based off of the myth of my hair as well as the look that I'm going for. If you desire more of a tighter curl, then I would definitely suggest more pink rose throughout your head, but if you want more of a looser curl and definitely use larger sections, if you find that your hair is a little too straight upon removing your pink rose And I would definitely suggest to either take some sort of blender or curling iron, just above the ends of your hair. This will help you to achieve a curl prior to setting your hair in the pink rose, but keep in mind. If you use this technique, then it will no longer be a heat free style. If you don't have duckbill clips or roller setting clips, you can definitely use a hairpin to hold your in curls in place once your pin curls are out complete cover your hair with a scarf or a bunny. I'M going to use my silk scarf to cover my hair and I'll sleep in my pink rose overnight. So now it's the next day and it's my favorite part actually taking down the hairstyle to see what it looks like and the clips were not hard to sleep on and I'll. I'M just going to go ahead and remove out of the clips kind of unravel the pink curls, and then I proceeded to stab them all. So once all of the pin curls are out of quickly just looking at my hair to see what it looks like and then I'm going to finger style. My hair, I would definitely suggest, if you're going to use a comb to use a wire to comb, which you will see me use later in this video, but to start off. I always like to use my fingers that way. If my curls are not too tight, I won't completely get rid of them just by combing, through my hair right away, using a hair comb. So the way that I'm styling, my pink rose, I'm using a wide tooth comb and then the opposite Union only has like two teeth on it, which I like to use to kind of feather my hair and the look that I'm going for is more of the Farrah Fawcett kind of feathered type of look so the way that I achieve that I comb my hair back a little bit on both sides and then I kind of shake it forward using my hands just to kind of give it that feathered. Look if that makes sense, microfiber Bible, but yeah. I definitely suggest using your hands first before you use a comb girl because we did not set all these pin curls just comb it all out and have nothing left. Okay, just definitely use your hands and then a way to comb the way you want disturb your curls too much, unless that's the look that you're going for and just want to decide where I want my part and I'm going for more of a deep side. Alright, look since my hair is shorter, I kind of thought it looked a little cute that way. You know now want to lay inside my edges, because your hairstyle is not complete. If your edges is not on fleek, so grab your favorite edge product and then just applied it to your edges, I'm using the 24-hour edge timer on mine and yeah. I need to update you all on how to do my edges, because my technique is kind of different product is the same, but my technique is slightly different. Just gon na proceed to style my hair, a little bit more, I can kind of play on my hair. All day, just trying to achieve the look that I'm going for and then I'm just proceeding to feather and feather and lay and slay my hair, even more so kind of just push it back like these and then shake it over Keva finger styling it into place And that's it, then you get this short little pink roll. Do. If you find that this look. May not, so you then definitely work with your pin curls to get the look that you desire. This is the way that I, like my hair. So this is the way the number one my hair sure I could wear it straight, but as a right now I didn't really want straight hair. I kind of wanted more of a curly look. So that's the look that I'm choosing to wear with my hair but of course, definitely style your hair. The way that you like this is pretty much the finished product, and these are the reveal pictures are kind of like the alternate thumbnails. So I'm trying to figure out how people come to the conclusion that her hair will grow faster if she goes natural?!? Everyone's hair is different! Everyone's experience is different!
