Today’s hair tutorial is new + easy hairstyles for 2021! These on trend hairstyles are perfect for medium - long hair hair lengths. The first hairstyle is a simple pony-tail with a French twist detail, it’s such an easy and beautiful way to elevate your everyday hair, or even for a special occasion. The second hairstyle is a trend I’ve been seeing everywhere in 2020. And it’s a simple claw clip hairstyle, the technique I shared is the best for thick + long hair. And the last hairstyle is a simple textured low bun, and the best part? All you need is 1 hair elastic to create it.

Hello welcome back happy 2021, if you're new here my name is alex gabery and i like to kick off the new year, sharing a tutorial on some on trend hairstyles for the year, and i get the vibe that this is the year of less is more so. These hairstyles are very minimal, they're, simple, yet they're elegant and they are great if you're working from home. So let's get started. Can you believe that those curls from the intro were completely heatless? I did the robe curl method last night, so i'm just going to take these out, but i have a full tutorial on my youtube channel. If you haven't seen it, i will link it below. But if you haven't tried these heatless robe tie curls. Yet you must. They turn out so great, every single time and they're really quick to do like they take. Maybe like two minutes the night before and then you just take them out and your hair is completely curled. They are amazing, plus they last way longer than if you were to curl your hair with a curling iron and they will not damage your hair. Look at that and wait till i flip them out, so i'm just going to take out the other side. Okay, here they are looking a little flat, so i'm just going to fluff them out really gently and i'm just going to add a little bit of dry shampoo just for some volume. Okay, look at these! It'S so crazy that these are completely heatless and they're. So quick, i was going to add a little bit of oil. This is the shumura oil. It'S actually a recommendation from one of you, so thank you, but it's gon na do a couple pumps of this and run it through my hair to tame those flyaways. First impressions, this oil smells so good and i've never seen a beauty product with so many five star reviews. Everyone loves us, so i'm excited to use it more. All right look at that hair is prepped but seriously took seconds, but let's turn around and start. The hairstyles first up is a very simple way to elevate your everyday ponytail so begin by gathering all of your hair and just hold it just above ear height, and then this is the perfect time to pull out any small pieces to frame your face. All right for the twist hold your hair with your left hand and, with your right hand, come in with an underhand grip and just grab just below your left hand. Now tightly twist your ponytail clockwise two times and then direct it down towards the nape of your neck, and then you can give it another twist just to tighten everything up now that you have your beautiful twist, just go ahead and pinch and pull on some small Pieces, this will help add volume and texture and just help add more shape to the hairstyle, which looks really pretty next to hold everything in place. Insert a couple of bobby pins and the best way to secure them is, to hook the outside of your twist, push the pin against your head and then slide it in towards the middle of your twist. And this should feel very tight and secure. And then just repeat down your twist and this step is optional. Next secure your ponytail with a hair elastic and then just pull it nice and tight, and the elastic will slide up out of sight. And then i added my favorite texturizing spray just to give the ponytail some more volume, all right how beautiful i love how elegant this hairstyle came out. It'S hard to believe how simple it was like. You definitely have to try this one. Next is my current most worn hairstyle, it takes 10 seconds and you either love it or you hate it and it's the claw, clip updo all right so begin by gathering all of your hair into a low ponytail and pull out any tendrils to frame your face And then grab just below your left hand with your right hand and tightly twist your ponytail away from your face two times, while directing it up the center of your head all right grab the top of your twist hold it tightly against your head and you can Go ahead and tuck your ends into your twist, if you don't want them poking out and then grab your claw clip and clip your twist into place, and i really love these clips because they're big enough to hold all of my hair all right. I love this. Look, it's so quick and on trend, and i need to know: are you a fan of the claw clips or not so much next is a hairstyle that everyone needs in their repertoire and it's an effortless bun just need one elastic so toss all of your hair. Back and gather it where you want your bun to sit and if you push it upwards, this will create some more volume on the top. Alright pull out those face. Framing pieces. Effortless is in and then just begin securing your hair into a low ponytail and once you get to that last, pull through stop and just twist your elastic at the top of your ponytail. And you only want to pull your ponytail partially through to create a bun and go ahead and make your bun as big or as small as you like, and just pull on the sides to fan it out. And i like to pull in some small pieces. To add some more texture - and you can also do this around the crown of your head - and i just think the added texture mixed with those robe tie waves, looks so pretty next grab your ends and just swoop them to the left and then up and over Your ponytail to the right side and see this elastic under my bun, so you want to hook that and pull it down and then take your ends and pull them through securing them out of the way. Now, if your ends are still showing like mine - and you don't want them to just gather them together and secure them behind your twist with some bobby pins, how beautiful and chic is this bun? It'S such a staple and it looks beautifully paired with everything from cozy knits to dresses all right there we have it.
