when i was in high school, i didn't know how to style my curly hair, so it was always in a bun. all 4 years of highschool - i looked exactly the same. when i look at the old pictures, i really wish i hadn't done that. i also found myself searching on the internet tips on how to tame curly hair, but i didn't find any (probs today you'd fine lots but back then nope) so now i want to share my own tips and tricks i learned in this journey to taming curly hair and embracing my curls!

Hi Internet: this is my hair. When I don't straighten it, this is it. I only figured out how to spell my hair properly when I was about 200 college, so it doesn't meet during the time that I didn't know any of the knowledge I'm about to share with you guys today. I definitely had hair like Merida from brave or the witch from tangled. So if you guys, I don't know what I did for my hair through each this. The level of teens then keep on watching. So my first tip for you guys, is to grow up your hair as long as you can and the longer your hair is the heavier it is eventually, the length of your hair will weigh down your curls, thus taming them. Another thing the length of your hair when it's wet or straight, is it true lengths of your hair, but when your hair dries and there, if your curls start to form your hair will always end up shorter than your true length? That'S because girls are like one of those springy coils toys when it's compressed - it's probably like just this short, but when you stretch it out to see that it's actually a really super long, curls works the same way when I was younger. I didn't know this. So, even though I knew that my hair was already quite long, I never felt it. It turns out that kind of long would be long for people with wavy, hair or straight hair, but for curly-haired girl. Like me, it was not not and don't recommend that you wash your hair every single day, it's good to let the natural oils come out, because the natural oils actually smooth down your hair and they add weight to your hair. Another thing is when you shampoo, just shampoo the top part of your hair just called, and I put shampoo on the rest of your hair - you don't this will only dry them out and dry. Hair is frizzy hair and if you want to tame curly hair, that's the last thing you want do it in the Philippines or a summer hot, and just kept very, not to wash your hair even just for a day and that's fine and go ahead and wash Your hair but skip the shampoo and instead just use conditioner, actually a never miss conditioner. Personally, I can't wash my hair when there is no conditioner. I just I just can't conditioners do what they promised to do in commercials. They make your hair smooth. They add moisture to your hair and, most importantly out of weight to your hair. Don'T know if you guys notice it, but I keep mentioning weight because when you're teaming curly hair wait, there's actually a name for it. The best conditioner I've ever tried was this French brand of conditioner and shampoo. You don't know how to pronounce it. So I'm gon na put it right here, so you guys can check it out, and my aunt gave my sis get back kindness in the gifts back. Has the shampoo the conditioner - and there was something else I forgot - what it was, the texture of the conditioner is actually quite runny at first. I thought it wasn't really doing anything because it wasn't a thick cream like much conditioning but there's books. Oh so much better! You actually don't even mean that much even just a little bit, but producing the same effect. When I use that the contents of their small bottle, I didn't try any more of it, even though it's practically the best conditioner I have ever had because it's pricey for a book rich like me for bottles in spec, you can get it for two thousand pesos Right now, I just don't have the money for that, but yeah. If you're looking for a good conditioners, I suggest you really need to try that conditioner. Another reason why I never wash my hair without conditioner is because the only time I get to comb my hair is when I'm in the shower I'm conditioning my hair and I'm tangling it with my fingers seriously, though, as curly-haired girls, our hair, do not need combs Or brushes we're gon na be done, especially when you want to tame curly hair, but you're, basically doing is making sure that the curls are intact. Now, when you're done washing your hair, don't do this, it would be towel like. Is that before you want to keep your hair intact? Basically, all the time, if you want to use products like leave on conditioner or whatever, now is the perfect time to apply them? It'S better if you apply them now, while they're down, so that you won't have to ruin your curls when your hair is already dry and set when your hair is slightly damp and knocked within just dye, your hair into a bun at the nape of your neck. When you're tying your hair into a bun, you can comb and smooth down the top part of your hair. You really want that part to be really smooth it down and slide so that it dries exactly the same way now. The next step for you is to sleep on it. I don't know what it is, but I've always found that if I sleep with my hair wet the next morning, my hair just turns really nice, shiny and soft and the curls remain intact. It'S like all the moisture gets bumped it. I don't really know, but that's what happens. That'S what it seems like now. If your hair isn't too long like mine, then your hair should be dry the next morning. This definitely did not dry. In just one night. I had to wait like two days before I could film this video, so I could show you guys the result now that you have really pretty curls the last step and taming. Her curly hair is to keep them that way now stay away from windy places. If we're gon na step outside tie your hair into a bun part break them all, so eventually, throughout the day, your hair will fluff up or frizz up. But when that happens, all you need to do is to again tie your hair until bun or into a break, and after a while, you can undo the bun or braid your hair will be just as good. I know that some people would say that this method is damaging sister gon na have to tie your hair really tight when it's still wet Tara. This is the method that I found worked for me when I didn't have me keep styling tools. I wish I had. I wouldn't say that this method is any less damaging than the methods where you do use heat. So if you know better ways or better methods, please share it with us, put them on the comments below so that Oh curly haired thrilled to let their hair down and enjoy their curls and feel beautiful. Because I know that when I was in high school, that's basically all I really wanted to do with my hair. That'S its you guys. I hope you liked this video. I hope you learned Lots. You did try out these methods. Please tell me how it turns out in my home give me video suggestions, ideas. Thank you. I want to do that.
