Again now. Last week we focused on moisturizing frizzy box braids and those rosaceas box. Braids were mine, okay, and it was a wonderful outcome. If your hair is dry and frizzy like mine was but if not come on girl, let's do this. So when i do this hairstyle, i get a lot of attention because it's so elegant and so beautiful it looks like a bouquet of flowers. You know, and you can make it just as intricate as you want as many of them as you want. Well, let's start we only have to use two things in order to make this hairstyle work, and that is hairpins, so we're going to use one. That'S this size, pretty large, the large size and the very small petite size. So what i want to do is i just want a side action going on. Okay and listen. These are not new braids okay, so this works on new braids and it works on old, braids. Okay, i have old braids. So if you happen to see my new growth, which you will don't judge me, okay, so let's go the first thing that we want to do. Is we want to cut the hair in half? You can either cut it in half or you can cut a little further in the front okay, so i want mine just a little further, so i can have a little more hair in the back okay, because i didn't really braid these braids full okay, i just Braided them so that they would not pull. This is my like a quarantine style that i had and it was beautiful, but it's just it's a lot meow. So, okay, so back here, it's fine! Okay! So i'm gon na take off my earrings. So i don't snag my ears. You know that's the worst! Okay, now i'm gon na decide where i want this, because i'm gon na i'm gon na do a little side. Action thing going on so first cut this here. Okay and it does the job just like anything else, but i am gon na put. I'M gon na put on just a little water right there: okay, just a little water - and this is gon na - be a small one. Okay, so i'm gon na take these just just twist it all the way down. These are long, braids, okay and just braid it at the bottom. Okay. Now i you can leave this out this much out because you're just going to be wrapping it around. Okay, i'm gon na put a little water on this too, and you don't have to do this tight. You know, don't do it too tight, especially if you have new braids. You don't want to do that tight at all. Okay and again, you just do it down and keep going and there we go and just braid the wrist. We call it braid twist. Okay, all right, there's that and now i'm gon na go in here. This is where our main bouquet is. I want to get that right there, so how you doing today, i hope you're doing well. You know i think it's so important for us to take care of ourselves during this time. It'S a challenge, though we must not forget about ourselves. I mean, and it's so easy to forget about yourself - you got to put on your own mask before you put on somebody else. That'S right! Okay, here we go and remember give it a little slack, and this is a wonderful hairstyle after you've, moisturized too, if you want to leave it in a hair, so you can, because there is power in the clump. You know when you clump your hair together. It can hold moisture more readily than you having it out just like. If, when i wear an afro, i can only wear it for a certain amount of days, and then it's just turns totally dry. You know, and the thing is, the goal is to avoid dryness. Okay, now look what we got here now. You see, i put a little slack here. Look what we got here all right, so i want to do this one. This is my litmus test. Okay, i want to do this one first, all right, so i'm just going to look in this mirror a little bit. I'M going to loosen this up just a little bit, yeah see how to loosen it up by the braid just loosen it up a little bit. Usually, i would have braided my hair with more braids, but this one i did not okay, so i want to cover this up a little bit: okay, good and i'm going to just gon na. You see i'm pushing that through and i pull it up. Okay and then i push it back down somewhere else. That'S where that bobby pin comes at okay. Now i'm going to pull this down just a little bit: okay and just dilly dally where you have to okay, i'm going to keep doing this, and this is if you want um like a 1920s look. Okay, now i'm going to use my big bobby, pin, i'm just going to put it right there. Okay, you see. I keep that leg so later on we'll make sure that nothing, you know no spaces are showing and things like that. So that's the first one right. I'M telling you so quick and easy, and then let's go for this this we can make a little tighter just a little bit, so we want to spread it out a little bit so we're just going to spread it good, spread it up and we're going to Take our long bobby pin and when we do it, when we put the bobby pin in we're going this way up and then down, okay, and if you feel the slightest pull just take it out, take it out and do it again until you don't feel a Pull because that defeats the purpose these are protective hairstyles and your braided hairstyle alone should be a protective hairstyle, even when your your hair style is old, like, for instance, these braids. I'M going to give this a little slack, make it a little fatter and do the same here, make it a little fatter and you just play with it as you will, so you just keep going along and going along, because the thing is, it's never going to Be exactly the same now i took away the flare of this and i want to take away that flare. So i'm going to push this back a little bit and i'm going to keep going i'm going to take a small barbie. Pin, let's see how that looks, do you want something like that? You can get sassy and put it with a nice blouse and some nice slacks, okay and some pumps. So there are loads of things that you can do to rock this classy look now, why don't we switch up the earrings a little bit see a different look. What about these? These are a different form of classy and what they do is they exude? I am a queen respect me. I am strong and i am beautiful and how about these these they have the same shape, but they say i am demure, it's kind of like a demure and regal look at the same time. I love these. I got these.
