John Frieda Frizz Ease Moisture Barrier Hairspray

Hey guys, I have a super, exciting video for you today, I'm doing a hair tutorial for you guys and I've actually teamed up with John Frieda for this video, which is so exciting. So I'm going to be using a few of the john frieda products to help tame that frizz and help create this really super easy three-step chignon hairstyle. So if just this hair start up with some indian head drill root, because why not no I'm kidding it just makes the hairstyle look like you've put a little bit more effort in then you actually have, because it's a very easy hairstyle course you don't have to Throw on all of this jewelry with it, the style itself is very beautiful and elegant, and it's one that you can wear to any occasion. I'M not a hair with, and I have super frizzy hair. So if I were able to create this style, I know you guys are too so guys if you want to know how I tamed the frizz and created this hairstyle right here then keep on watching first things. First, you want to start off with freshly washed soaking wet hair. I'M then just gon na take my frizz ease original serum, I'm taking two pumps of this, because I have really long and thick hair, but if you've got slightly shorter hair, then one pump is good enough. You want to evenly distribute this through the hair from mid-lengths to ends, and this is just going to help hydrate the hair tame, the frizz good, with humidity and basically control all those crazy flyaways and then taking a t-shirt. Just a big large t-shirt and I'm just going to allow my hair to dry in the t-shirt, so this is a little hack for you guys, I'm literally wrapping my hair in a t-shirt as I would with a towel. The reason I'm not using a towel is because I find a t-shirt to be more gentle on my hair than a towel and it doesn't absorb as much water, so my hair then becomes a little less frizzy. So a t-shirt is a really great and cheap alternative, and, while you wait for your hair to dry, you can just pop on your makeup. I'M then going to take down my hair when my hair is slightly damp and I'm going to apply the frizzies dream curls daily, styling spray. This is just gon na help. Give the cows a little bit more structure bit more texture, but without making your hair feel really crispy and that kind of feeling. So I'm just spraying this around my hair, nice and evenly and then kind of like scrunching my hair up and then I'm just going to create a nice middle parting only to like the center of my head. So not all the way down to the my head and then I'm going to section my hair in three parts. So I'm taking one side by the ears as one section, the back as another and then another section to the other side. And then I'm just gon na wrap this hair up. While I sort out the back of my head yep looking great so this is where the base of our Shenyang is gon na, be so it's with that back section, and you want to get it into a nice, ponytail, nice and low, but make sure the top Of the hair is nice and smooth, so I'm just going over that with just a brush. You then just want to take any sturdy hairband and then create a ponytail, nice and low down on the nape of your neck, and because this is going to be our base, you want to make sure this is nice and secure and tight, so pull it. Nice and tight, as you can see, that's what I'm doing now. Moving on to the side sections I'm just gon na, take them out of their clips and I'm gon na create some basic braids, but I'm going to start the braid about halfway down my hair. So I'm starting it at the mid length and then taking it all the way to the end. So, as you can see, the top half of the hair from the root is quite loose and then yet you just want to braid it down as normal and then just using a smaller elastic band to tie up the end of the braid to make sure that Doesn'T come loose, I'm also just taking a little section out of that braid at the front of my hair, and we are going to come back to those like little loose sections at the front. So before I start the braid on the other side, I've already separated it. So you can do it that way and it will make it a little bit easy for you. But then you just want to go ahead and create the same braid on the other side of the head, starting at mid length and taking it all the way down to the end again. So now I'm looking nice and crazy. I'M gon na take the back section and create the same braid from the base of that ponytail. All the way down to the bottom, don't worry about the braid being loose at the top, like we've done on the sides or anything you just want it to be. One really nice and secure braid the whole way down with the back section, I'm just tugging at the braid on each side, making it a little bit more loose. You just want to take this all the way down the braid and go from the top to the bottom and then work your way back up from the bottom to the top and just keep going until you can get it as far out and like big as You can making sure the braid is still secure and tight, and then you just want to do this with all of the braids that you've done so also on the side. So once that's done, we're gon na start the chignon by wrapping that braid around the ponytail and it's going to be our base. You just want to keep wrapping it and because we pulled everything out, it makes the whole thing look a little bit bigger, which is what you want. And so then you just want to pin that in place with some grips, and it really is as simple and easy as that and make sure you just pin it underneath the hair and just around that little bun, so that you cannot see the grips and that Way, it looks a little bit neater and then I'm just gon na spritz, some of the john frieda moisture barrier, hairspray onto the side section and then just smooth it over. This hairspray is great because you still get movement with applying it. It doesn't make the hair really crispy and it also locks out humidity, so your style won't freeze up. So I'm just taking that side section and I'm wrapping it around the like little bun that we've already created and then I'm just pinning that into place. It really is as simple and super easy as that, so I'm literally just swished it across and then I'm doing the same again on the other side section so again, just spritzing that on the side section smoothing it over and then taking it across the back of The head and around the bun so as you can see, I've just taken it across and around the bun, like I just said, and I'm tucking in that end section right into it and then I'm just going to pin it in place to make sure everything is Nice and secure - and you can't really see any pins here so that's great. It feels really nice and secure and sturdy, and it looks very, very nice and elegant, and then this is where you kind of just want to pin anything else into place. Make it look a little bit neater if you want to and then just going back to these little sections that we pulled out? This is something that I love to do when I don't want to apply the heat to my hair, but I want to just add a soft curl to it so I'll, just spritz, my hair with hairspray and I'll wrap the hair around my finger. As you can see, I've taken a really thin piece of hair. This doesn't work if you're taking really thick sections of hair, because it is only your finger. There is no heat, it's just hairspray, so yeah you just want to wrap it around your finger and kind of hold it there for a little bit. You can just sing a song dance if you want to and then once you let it go. You'Ll just have a nice loose curl and then just hairspray once more just making sure everything is nicely in place. So you could totally leave the hairstyle there because it does look absolutely beautiful, but I just wanted to accessorize with some indian head jewelry. It just glammed up that hairstyle that little bit more and it's perfect for any occasion, so this guy's is the finished. Look. I really hope you like it. Please do give it a big thumbs up.
