You read all the way down here? ILY

We may look real okay, hi guys welcome back to my channel. Thank you guys so much for tuning in today. Today'S video is going to be very different. Well, for me, it feels really different, so, where I'm from Dominican Republic, we call a, I think, it's a boobie, is it a movie or a movie? No, this is what it looks like like this is Rihanna. I guess she did this kind of like look for what was it excuses huge mess back here, because I'm flying out to see my parents in Dominican Republic tomorrow and I'm in the middle of packing, so I'm gon na show you guys what I do. I wrap it to go to sleep. I wrap it to shower and I wrap it when I'm like around the house cleaning the house, because I hate here in my face bobby pins, get your wrap, preferably get one that has holes in it, because you're gon na slide off the bobby pins through the Hat so that they don't leave the bobby pin mark markings, they can either look like this, and then they can look like this by the way like if you're trying to look cute and sexy. Like don't do this so once you part your hair in the middle, you have two bunches, take the first one and make sure there's no tangles in it, and what I do is I'll. Take I'll brush it from the bottom and I'll hold it with my hand like this, then I'll push all of this hair around now. I'M gon na start brushing it like this, and I'm gon na go ahead and just comb it over like that. I'M gon na get a bobby pin now and I'm gon na start putting in the bobby pins. I will usually count the bobby pins that I'm using so that I'm counting them as I'm sliding them out so on this one I'll just keep brushing the hair sideways and keep putting my bobby pins now like this and I'm gon na keep going at this point. We'Re incorporating the other half of the hair, so I'm gon na grab another bobby pin just light it up and now you're gon na wrap the RET, the other half of the hair around your head, the same way just like this and then no stick a bobby Pin there make sure the ends are nice and tight and you're holding onto them grab this right here. Okay, so then take your hat like this, and I'm gon na take this and then just start from the bottom and I'm gon na bring it all the way in. Like that see, you can do the same thing with this one. The same way, you were literally just grab this and go like this. If, for whatever reason you couldn't god, this looks so Dominican, if you don't find, one of these do be cops or whatever you can use a do-rag or something like that. The only thing with that is that you can't pull the bobby pins out right so once I wrap it - and I know my hair is completely in there - okay, I know it's all in there. I'M gon na go ahead and start taking the bobby pins out of here right. That'S why I comp them. So I know how many I have to take out and you can just slide it right through and then I don't feel anymore. Then I'll take my finger. I'M gon na put it under the cop make sure that all the hair is nice and tight in there. That'S what I do. This is how I wrap it. I don't use a straightening iron once I do my hair and I take this out the next morning. It is as straight as can be no heat needed. That'S why I have to do it as soon as she's finished blow-drying, my hair, because it's nice and hot - and it sets the way I wanted to secre. She wraps it under the hat right away. The way she does, it is a little bit different. I think I don't know, but tomorrow, when I go to the salon, if I feel brave I'll ask her to let me record it, but I don't know I feel shy about doing it. Cuz. You know Spanish Spanish people a little judgmental when I'm gon na take a shower I'll get one of these Terry had been terrycloth headbands. I think I got this. I got Walmart or something I don't remember and I will always wrap it around the front of my head specifically to shower, because even if I were a shower cap, let's finish our cup like this, no matter what it's still going to get wet, and so I Use this first, the headbands and I'll wrap it just around the front of my hair like this and then I'll do this. Sometimes I go really early to do my hair and then I have to spend the entire day with my head wrapped, especially my first day. My hair is way too fluffy for me. I need to wrap it, and so I don't I'm not confident enough to go in public like this, like if I was in the ER, maybe but in the United States. I'M not. I always bring a hat with me like tomorrow, I'm doing my hair early in the morning before my flight. So I know I'm gon na have to wrap it until I leave at night, depending on where I am. If it's like me running errands or more casual I'll, wear a baseball cap like this, so I'll wrap it like this and then I'll get something. That'S like that, and I will tuck my hair under like this and then I'll go on public this like this, and it doesn't bother me and I don't mind then if I have a special occasion, like I probably uploaded my blog already, I'm not sure but, like My friends um rehearsal dinner that we had my hair was wrapped because her wedding was the next day and my hair was strands and so what I wore a different kind of hat, because it was a little more dressy. So I brought this brown hat and my hair was wrapped, so all I did was I situated my hair under this hat like this. Once you wrap your hair like this and you sleep in it, I'm gon na show you exactly what it looks like you. Just literally slide this off and your hair is exactly how you left it, like literally look, no curls straight no problems and they're, not party where I always part it, and it just looks like that again. So that is basically, that is how I brought my hair in a Dominican, doobie, okay guys, so there I got brave. I did it because it was kind of empty in there. What you looking at you looking at boy anyways, guys I didn't end up blow-drying it today. I only the rollers and then I had to wrap it because scuse me scuse me. So I hope you guys enjoyed this little video on how to wrap your hair in a Dominican, Dobby and until next time, I'll talk to y'all later say: bye, jack later

JassyPooh01: Where did you get the black doobie cap from? Do you have a link?

kungfumind⚡: My husband loves to watch me wrap my hair. Every night he says "you're beautiful " lol

Bianca: I remember getting my hair done all the time at the salon and leaving with a doobie on my head.. good times

Yesenia Espinal: Omg I was finally able to do a tubi on myself for the first time ever and coming out right. I love your method and will always use it now. Love the idea of pulling out the pins because I always woke up with creases in the morning. Thank you so much!!

One of One Atelier: I’ve also seen my Titis do their doobie with two rollers in the middle and then the wrap on the outside

RPB: You have beautiful hair! I just had my hair straightened and have been wrapping it all week. Love it!

Kala Thompson: Girl THANK YOU! I’ve been struggling for real trying to wrap my hair. Hopefully now I’ve got the trick.

Credit Repair Venture: Oh gosh, your hair is so healthy. Gracias.

Brianna Melo: Thank you, this was helpful and easier. I was watching another video and they had me looking crazy.

Health in Home: “If you’re trying to look cute and sexy don’t do this”

The Curl Vibes: Trying this! I’ve never done a doobie before!

Adiane R: I highly recommend going to a Dominican hair salon. Pero eso siiii go with snacks, a blanket and free up your day. Go an hour before they open to be the first. When i lived in P.R i learn this fast. Oh yeah also get ready for bochiche (gossip) and loads of laughs. My hair stylist is like a therapist i swear. The only thing that shows that like 4 hours have passed is when i get up my bum is numb.i always have hated rollers and dubis but they make the hair look so good. Bueno la belleza duele

gina: Wow your hair is beautiful I’ll have to try this

Aileen Q: You are beautiful! I'm Dominican and but your hair was ALREADY straight. The title says "straighten your hair with no heat." The is how I maintain my already straight hair but not how I straighten it.

Tania Jennings: Wow this was so unique. Not the traditional doobie. However the best!!!!! Moving forward this is my go to doobie. Thank you!!

C Mancini: Hello how long does it last straight with the doobie?

hipretty: Yeah but you're starting out with it already straightened when you show your doobie I thought you were going to start with it curly to show how you straighten your hair with no heat! Does the salon always do the initial straightening? In New York I remember all the ladies having big rollers in their hair (including my mother and Aunt...even us as little girls) with a scarf or hairnet on going to the supermarket, the bank (OMG) and other errands...we had no shame!!! ☺️ I have been wearing my hair curly forever and now I have a job where my hair cannot look "wild & free"!!! I need help and I am all thumbs!  Your hair is so gorgeous shiny!

Patty GD: Gotta try this!!!

Karen Lewkowitz: Great tutorial! Little fellow is adorable with a Mommy!

peace✌️: Your hair is beautiful

RENEE WIGGINS: You can take your hair out of the wrap a million times and it will always be enjoyable to me.....es muey bella chica!

kerpouse: thank you for this great video. could you please add a link on the names and where you got the bobby pins and the other stuff.

Vanessa: lmao you are so Dominican! I love you!!!! Can't wait to see you xoxo

Karenn Nuñez: I can never do that my head sweats to much ‍♀️

Anali Perez: Your video was the first one that popped up when I searched doobie wrap!

rainer wells: We call them wraps in the south and you have a nice one and your cut/layer is nice !

Jisung Pwark’s Muscles: We call it a Toobie at least that’s what I heard people around me call it and I also call it a toobie

last chance: Your hair is so thick. You look gorgeoussssss

Yomaira Avila: Can this be done with wet hair?

azure winged: Thank you for sharing.

Damon Figures: Had a Dominican bus driver that kinda looked like you from NY.. I almost fell in love fam...

Milli Dollars: Please do record it lol it’s gonna be fun and your supporters wanna see !!! Get out your comfort zone all 2019 !!!!!!!!!!!!

Erika Black: Where do we get one of those hair bands for the shower!?

Sweet Blackberry: Where did you get the hat/baseball cap? I've been looking all over the internet. What style of hat is it called?

nisi Castro: I been doing this since the 90s

nina 809: thats how you maintain your hair straight

TheNenaBrown: For Furture Viewers, this is how to MAINTAIN straight hair...! Not how to straighten it..

Chula Loca: Thank you for showing me love your video. Everything is all video last year

Katherina Maldonado: Dominican name tubi, other countries do call it dubi tho

Faatima Micheals: We call it swill kous made of stockings in south africa. We put tissue in top of the head before putting the swill koud is prevent breakage and split ends

yup dest: Hi,Where you get that net from ,do you have any links?

Butter Cup: You are so pretty

MARI RIVERA: Im from puerto rico we call it a doobie

S P: How do you keep your hair straight in humid weather?

itskree83: how often do you roller set your hair?

Cantara Bella: How does your hair not revert in humidity?

Irma Medina: Oh my goodness love your video you're baby so handsome too

Meh: This is a good & easy way to preserve your blowout. But the title is a little misleading since your hair was already straightened using heat, and the title implies you are straightening the hair without the heat.

Jessy Morel: LMFOAOOO eso es verdad especially Dominicans,we a bit judgemental, not even a bit pero ALOT it is so annoying why is that smh,so damn butthurt, get butthurt easily

Chula Loca: Love you guys

yaribella: Tubi*

Malcolm Jos: Tubi

love Grace: Jesus Christ loves you.  Call on His Name and be saved today. The blessed Lord died for you and rose again and He's coming back again. Amen.
