Anti Frizz & Static Hair Brush?!

I've seen these "anti-frizz or anti-static" hair brushes that claim to do miracles for your hair with IONIC and vibrating technology. I saw an add either on Instagram or Facebook and I purchase this hairbrush for $35+ shipping to see if it really worked.

Thank you so much for spending time with me and watching this video!

XO,

Milabu

Just brush through the hair, hmm, these hair brushes these hair brushes. These have been all over social media recently. This is a vibrating massaging, ionic hair brush. Why? I have no idea, but the video enticed me and I bought it. Yes, I bought a $ 35 hairbrush and to take a while to come in, but hopefully was worth it. The reason why I bought it was because this girl had super frizzy hair and then with just one hair brush stroke. The hair was perfectly smooth. It does claim that it removes static. It does not claim that it removes frizz, so advertisements claim that their new frizz. So I don't know I do want to say there are two types there is frizz and then there is static. Those are two completely different things. Different worlds, static: there is literally energy in your hair. Frizz, that's usually means either. There'S baby hair and your hair is sticking up or your hair is lacking, moisture and it's brittle and it's just not loving its life. So, as you can see right here, I have a lot of new baby hairs and they're sticking up because they're very short, and they have nowhere else to go so we're gon na see for which one this brush actually works. Does this need batteries? It'S not. Turning on so how do I apply batteries in here? So this does require a triple-a battery one of them, that's usually the batteries that we don't have. I have a lot of double-a much your place like to steal one from our remote. Alright, let's see oh nice, something turned on, let's put the hair thing back on and this is very cheap. I must say: alright, it's not vibrating. Oh there's actually a needle right here and it's making noises I'm going to apply static to both sides and we're going to do one side or just a regular metal rat tail tea, scum and on the other side, this iconic hairbrush. So we got a balloon. Andrei very kindly blew it up for me with only two breaths. Oh it's like sticking to my face. I'M gon na hold a balloon because my hair just keeps falling down, and I want to see if this metal comb will just make the hair fall off the balloon good. That did a pretty good job, there's still a little bit some hairs that are sticking out, but look at this it did a pretty good job. Wow right, nice, I'm gon na do the same thing with this. Just like that, and I'm gon na turn it on light is on just brush through the hair huh. It'S not really doing anything the metal brush, it's so much better wow. This is a look of disappointment that I wasted $ 35 on this and I paid shipping. Look at that with two to three strokes Wow to say this is I'm literally dumped like I'm dumbfounded right now. I got ly to this advertising really got me. I mean it's literally, not doing anything for the hair, like all these little hairs. Still sticking up. It'S literally not doing anything for the hair, nothing I mean it's brushing it out, but even even just holding it it's uncomfortable. You know what let's do it again, but this time I am NOT going to hold the balloon. While I brush it out, I'm going to really rub the balloon in my hair, create static, I'm gon na brush it out and then bring the balloon closer and see if it picks up some of the hair, we'll try it we'll give it a couple of different Tests, metal comb - I mean it just calms it down so fast Wow, nothing, no energy takes it right out. Now, let's try it with the hairbrush again on this other side, all right, nice and staticky, I mean you can see a difference right away with the hairbrush. It works better when the balloon is not there. Man, the metal brush is amazing, Oh see, picks up the hair, still spitting it up still picking it up. That means there's still energy and Static in there. Look at that. Let'S try it with this. One came up. Wow you guys I'm saving you money right now. You can find this in Amazon. I think for like a couple of bucks, wow man, it's such a huge difference. Wow, I'm gon na try to find you guys this one right here. I think I bought it. Probably years ago, as Sally's or Amazon probably was Amazon but yeah. This is it's kind of hard to find just regular metal, teasing combs, I'm gon na try to find one for you guys, because this is a great hack. If you hear a staticky just use a metal hair comb on your hair, don't be like me and guess, suckered into buying a $ 35 hairbrush. We already know it doesn't do anything for Fred's, because if it can, if it barely does anything for static, it will definitely not do anything for frizz I mean the hair is still sticking up at that point, the only thing that can save your frizzy hair is Either some oils pomade or some kind of gel to really smooth out your hair or your ads, depends where your frizzy, so there you guys have it crap product that turned into a nice hack, video love. These types of videos, they're informative, wasted money. I can't even return this product, so I don't know what I'm gon na do with it. Maybe you donate it, maybe give it to my niece. You know what I mean one of my nieces. It'S a hairbrush, it's cute, it's purple. They can toss it in their purse or a backpack. I think they might enjoy that. Thank you so much for watching this video spending time with me, and I will see you guys in the next one. I love you all very much bye. You

Carolina L.R.: Milabu, be on the lookout because whoever sells this brush will use and edit your video to trick people to believe it works! I've seen you in several videos on Instagram when you're using the Revlon round brush!

Sage Grey: Bless your heart for doing this video! I almost fell victim to this hair brush, due to all the hype and 10,000,000 adds I saw on social media. Lol You’re the hair hero we need!!

Draconian Rain: What held me back was the ionic claim. I've almost never until now seen anything ionic without airflow. I already have an ionic hair dryer which does wonders. My old ancient dryer used to cause static until I switched to ionic. But if I still had it, I would have fallen for this for sure. Glad you made this. I thought it was suspicious.

Julia: I just wanted to let you know that your videos helped me finally figure out how to do Dutch braids. I still struggle with actual French braids because my brain seems to hate going over the middle piece haha but seriously, I've always struggled getting my braids to go up and back, I'd always braid it to the side because I had trouble holding the hair and braiding back but I finally got it and did a pretty good double Dutch braid tonight

Myrna Thiessen: I love the experiments you do for all of us☺️. Thank You!

Alexa Style Book: Ohh wow I really need this. My hair gets so much static during the colder months the metal comb is light and portable too

Nicole Lavigne: My guess is part of why the metal comb works so much better is that it makes more direct contact with the fine and shorter baby hairs, and all the hair in general, than the brush.

CJ Ertel: I also fell into this trap! Ionic brush, just a different brand. It was absolutely HORRIBLE! The static actually got much worse. Also, it put static into the shirt I was wearing because of the hair touching the shirt. I was so mad too!

J Rhodes: Ever since I moved into high elevation with the mountains, snow, and cold I've had to deal with static hair!!! It's the worse thing you'll ever have! It's worse than dead hair. Static makes everything impossible and not to mention how tangled up your hair gets. It's a nightmare! Dryer sheets don't work, that's a myth! Thank you for this video!!! I considered buying this brush, Im glad I found a solution and never bought it. I use a high end conditioner and then I apply either a hair mask or dry hair conditioner afterwards. I want this metal brush too though! I have friends with static hair as well, they'll love it

Amir: For those who are interested, the reason why the metallic comb works can be explained as follows: When friction (that causes heat) is created upon the hair, tiny negatively charged particles called electrons are being pulled out of the hair molecules with sufficient energy to move to the balloon and accumulate on it, in a process called thermalization, leaving back positively charged hair molecules behind. This causes the hair itself to be charged. Now, metals are known to be good conductors and are filled with a lot of “nearly free to move” electrons - a sea of electrons. When one combs with a metallic comb, the many electrons in the metal can move through it and find their counterpart positively charged hair molecules in order to be absorbed by them, in a process called recombination, thus eliminating the charge in the hair. written by a M.Sc. student for Science and Nuclear Engineering

Anh Nguyen: I really really need honest review videos like this. I saw the ad about the brush all over social media and was about to buy it and now I'm so happy I found out about this video before I made a stupid decision.

Jami Womack: Thanks for always trying new stuff for us and saving us money. Who new I needed a metal comb in my life. In my cart on Amazon :)

Jen.L: Thank you for doing this review. I've been seeing these ads on fb and wondered if it was false advertising. So sick of fake products on fb

Kalisha J: I can't believe what trash that brush is, lol. Sorry you wasted your money but at least you got to warn others not to fall for the hype.

Muazzez Esra Alperen: This is the most beneficial video I've watched. Thank you so much!

Art Craft: Keep the brush to remind you not to fall for any crapy ad ever again!

x3n4_xoxo: Thank you for making this video. I was about to buy one of those brushes. Now I don't have to waste my money

Xpeachypeach: I personally think that it didn’t work too good because it’s not from the “yiber” brand. You can find that on amazon or their website!! Hope that helped some of you that were interested in buying the brush!!! (It’s a lot cheaper on amazon tho)

Wendi O: I have super staticy, long, thick hair and I finally bought a wood brush and it was the best $50 I have spent. It eliminated my static problems completely.

Lisa Remo: I have the $12.99 version of this and it works on my hair!

lady luck: Moral of the story is, use metal instead lol. I have a TRESemmé ionic/ceramic/silver infused brush. I think it's silver but anyway it's, a paddle brush and it's great on my hair but my older son's pinch it.

JoAnn Wilson: Metal combs for the win then. I get static hair (frizz too argh!) and had considered getting this crazy brush.

Oi Lin Wong: Omg thank you!!! For some weird reason the ionic brush have been all over my FB feed all of a sudden... And even weirder is that my hair has a lot more static this year while I work from home. I don't have carpeting so can't figure out why. I was about to buy the ionic brush until I saw your video. Thank you for saving me the $35! I'm going to get the metal comb instead.

Little Margie: Thank you! I was about to buy one of those brushes. Now I have to find metal comb ASAP.

Adhora Hassan: Thank you for saving me money. I LOVE your videos!

JustAnais: LOL I really loved your honest reaction to the brush :)

i love pink roses: Thank you! Well you saved me $35, I rather buy the metal comb! Lol

Karina: woww thank you for the video, i loved it. definitely getting that metal comb or something, my hair is so static during the winter it's insane!

Black Powder Selkie: *They are using you in their ad girl!!!* No joke. I just saw their ad on IG today and noticed they used a clip of _YOU_ using it in their ad!!! I assumed you’d endorsed it and allllmost hit the purchase button. Luckily, something in me decided to wait and come watch your review first and boy and I glad I did!!! But dang! If I were you I’d be POed they were using me in their ad!!!!

olive: I was about to buy this because my hair frizzed constantly even if I straighten it it’ll be wavy with frizz in 10 minutes!! It’s not even humid where I live it’s Scotland ffs. So glad I saw this

Paola Hidalgo: I bought one a month ago, the ionic brush, was pretty disappointed too, but I fell for the advertising video, wish I have seen this earlier!

Carolinehaff: I was so close to buying this, so glad I didn't!

Ana: I actually saw the advertisement for it I was like wow! That’s amazing! Wonder if it works? You just answered my question lol

Karen D.: I bought a similar one in amazon for like 14 euros and is rechargeable. They have been in EU for years.

Cmn Lisa: I purchased that brush 2 months ago from the official website in the video they advertised and I still haven't received it. The tracking doesn't work and they didn't respond to my email when I asked about the problem which included my request for a refund. :(

StephanieWeichel: Wish I’d seen this before I bought it, I was very disappointed too

Faith Clovis: This that’s amazing! I have to get a metal comb.

Toni Grant: It probably sounds crazy but when my hair is full of static I will lightly run a dryer sheet over it to get all out.

dduchess: Thank you! I need that metal comb!

Leslie Hodorski: Wow....more false advertising! Thanks for being our champion!!! Wondering if you have tried (or could) the Conair Hot Sticks?? They look like a possibility for creating the waves without too much heat. Thanks for being there!

Star Wise: This isn't to you directly, everyone seems to do this in their review vids of these ionic brushes, but, for an honest and fair experiment, wouldn't you need to brush half your head with the ionic charge turned on like normal and THEN on the opposite side (instead of using different tools) turn off the ionic charge while using the same brush? If you're trying to prove the ions make the difference, why not just turn the brush off and do the other side? Otherwise it's like, yeah well of course that side is smoother after brushing...you're going over it a million times, slowly, with a detangling brush and on the other side you used a completely different brush. Idk. Just my opinion. I'd like to see a video that compares it in that way. Good video though! Nice flow, good, personable communication and genuine personality.

Delila Farrell: My hair gets so staticky! Sometimes I literally look like a cat on a trampoline! Love from a new channel

Nell4620: I use a spritz of Static Guard on my brush...works great.

Rache Santos: Bought the steel cobs you recommended but they gave me even more static hope I can find something to reduce static because my hair always gets a lot of static

Ashley: A dryer sheet works well too.

wildspirit 67: Oh wow. I'm gonna get the metal comb. Thank you

Amanda V: I just saw an add for a brush from voluflex that has a button you push forward and its suppose to add a lot of volume to it... love to see if you think it's good! The video on youtube makes it look amazing!

Sabika Nayyar: I wanted to ask my hair is really frizzy and dry from the down apart cause it's been like 2 years since I last cut my hair. And am planning to cut it above my shoulder. I wanted to ask if I do that my hair will look nice again right . It won't look dead

Cindy Snow: I'm glad I'm not the only one who runs balloons on my head for fun. Just kidding lol.

Nancy: Oh I am so glad that I did not buy it. What I can use for my baby hair is driving me crazy.

Andrey Burykin: I hoped it would work because that would kinda cool :)

DuckBuddy: It gets worse - I saw another brush like this and they were using your picture and the picture of another youtuber who also said the brushes were useless. They use your picture saying "everyone on the internet is talking about how great it is!" I almost bought one, lol.
